location, environment, facilities...
A beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would definately recommend a visit.
Good Quality, friendly and comfortable Parking but of course in such a attractive village parking was always going to be difficult. In the event space was available in the public car park.
Very nice , well presented , discrete but friendly , well positioned and all in all a very good experience . Sun beds were a bit grubby - ok its the end of the season but at this price level it let down the side a little - a small issue but more the impact of perception that damge by reality
It's in a very charming location The staff were very slow at serving breakfast etc, it was slighty over priced for what it was.
The decor and style of the hotel. The location at the centre of the village was excellent The standard of service at breakfast was not at 4 star standard. Also, having to pay extra for items such as cooked eggs was irritating
Having stayed at Ca'n Verdera last year we knew we would like to return, The quality of the room was very good and particularly the effectiveness of the air conditioning - of huge importance to English people in the height of summer. Breakfast in the courtyard was almost as good as when it was on the higher terrace, Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly Anna.
We loved the charm and personal service. Excellent landscaping and pool-side relaxation. Amazing mountain views.
The staff were extremely helpful when we needed our passports to be sent across the island to the airport. They we life savers! As its a small hotel, at times it was difficult to find a staff member. Some of the food & drinks were not appropriate for the hotels star rating which was disappointing.
Quiet, generous breakfast buffet, garden to sit in. Failed to replace broken light bulb
nice surroundings, excellent breakfast poor cleaning, no clean sheets, lack of soap (had to ask for it) as we stayed there for 2 weeks
I loved this hotel - in a tiny town in the middle of the mountains. Very friendly staff - and the most beautifull terrasse, where you can eat your breakfast looking out at the mountains and lemon/orange-trees. Love the breakfast and the honesty bar! You'll need a car to get around at Mallorca - but it's really nice to drive around and see the beautifull island. There are many nice resaurants in the small town, and not many tourists. We will definately come back :-) Only two single-beds in our room
We loved this hotel and our room under the eaves, overlooking the valley. It is unique and in a beautiful and quiet setting. Recently renovated by the charming and very friendly host, Andre. We will definitely stay again. Mike Stevens, London No
Fornalutx is a nice village to stay for a few days. Hotel has a nice few over the mountains. Beautifull surroundings. Not so quiet as it should be. You can hear really everything what's happening in the room next to you. A lot of money for value.
The hotel is located in an old family house, very nicely restored. There is a small pool in the patio to use when you are in the sun and a very beautiful garden with orange and lemon trees where you can rest and read or bask in the sun. The rooms are very spacious, the guy at the reception is very nice and helpful, the breakfast (included in the hotel price) is great No, I did like the hotel and the location
beautiful setting, beautiful hotel.
I particularly liked the location, the breakfast buffet, the oipportunity ro squeeze one's own orange juice and the helpfullness of the proprietor. Cleaners did not always replenish stocks of eg. toilet paper, but this was easily rectified.
Pleasant and convenient.
The staff were very helpful
Roof terrace, location, helpfull staff
Everyone very helpful , polite and friendly, food excellent, great value for money, superb roof top swimming pool with great views, would definitely go back No problems at all
Most friendly / most helpful / most delightful / most accomodating
Spa views of the mountains It rained so couldn't cycle
Friendly helpful staff, quiet town but close to transport to main tourist attractions. Delicious breakfast in a beautiful setting.
sheer luxury !! The staff were excellent and even knew on our arrival that we had stayed there once before. The facilites location and food could not have been better and we look forward to our next visit. Weather was poor during our stay so we could not have breakfast on the roof terrace - this was not the fault of the hotel !!
The staff at all levels were concerned to make the experience memorable. The food was always delicious and the wine selection more than adequate.
delightful staff, very good cooking, rooftop terrace with small pool for breakfast with great coffee and limitless freshly squuezed orange juice. Well appointed rooms.
The food in the restaurant was excellent - the staff friendly and helpful - a delightful hotel - I would return I could never find anyone down at the spa centre and did not manage to locate the hairdresser - but I did not make particular enquiries and am sure they would have helped me if I had of been that intererested - theymiss an opportunity for the 'impulse sale' but not being more visible with staff around
The staff were extremely charming and would go to great lengths to help.the environment and ambience was extremely calm and relaxing;would definitely stay there again.
Having stayed at this hotel two years ago we knew what to expect. The rooms are extremely modern and clean with very good views. Although we did not use the indoor pool and spa these are also very good. Helpful staff who have lots of time to answer queries. There could be more sun loungers around the pool, including some in the shade. Most of the ones provided were covered by towels very early but not used by the majority until much later in the day.
The overall friendliness of the staff and their attention to detail.
Excellent all round, visited two other hotels in soller that we were thinking of booking and were very glad that we picked the aimia The nice young breakfast waitress would not let me bring her home as a souvenir.
As above, the staff friendly and helpful. Pity the bar never seemed to have staff there in early evening, or maybe we went there at wrong time. A bidet in bathroom would be useful, especially as the bathroom was well equipped in other respects.
Beautiful hotel, fabulous scenery and a delightfull private cove to laze away the day. Perfect
the hotel was just outside the village of deia with wonderful view over the mountains, valley and sea. very tranquil the rooms were a bit tired
beautiful location- lovely gardens- great breakfast able to hear others in adjoining rooms
Stunning location close to Deia. Excellent room and facilities and good food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing
the location and the scenery yes when we arrived we were put into a single room instead of a double which we had paid for, the hotel manager was not available for two days so then she moved us to a double room, I was extremely dissapointed that we were given such a small roomin the first place!
easy to move around the area from the prime location no
I was on my own and everyone, staff and guests, were very friendly. The bathrobes were too heavy for the heat.
Spectacular countryside, lovely hotel - bit tired but in a charming way. Friendly staff & good value for money.
Wants - somewhere peaceful with excellent service to relax and de-stress. Es Moli ticked all boxes. No
The balcony view, gardens, pool and breakfast terrace. All were exceptional. The location, very relaxing, within easy walk of good restaurants in Deia. Booked a double room and ended up with 2 single beds pushed together. Overlooked, as I can see the hoteliers point of view of needing to cater for both couples and many singles walking in the area. View was too good to change rooms!
situation, friendly, excellent breakfast and dinner swimmimg pool very cold
Staff was excellent. Location was spectacular. Food was incredible. Price was reasonable. Never wanted to leave Wifi signal was fairly weak. Not a big issue.
Fabulous view over the ocean from both the poolarea and restaurant. Really good food while watching a spectacularly romantic sunset. Very clean and decent size rooms. All the staff was very helpful, friendly and interested in making our stay as pleasant, relaxing and great as possible The only thing I can complain about is the they need to put up better signposts for finding the way down the wooded rough paths to the little private stony beach
very pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful when I had to return home early. The food was good. For people travelling without a car it mkight be helpful to have pick up service at a local town (Deia or Soller)
good quality hotel set on its own some distance from the local village Hotel advertises beach but this comprises long walk down to rocky seaside not suitable for swimming Excellent large room with good facilities Smallish but good pool in grounds
the view and food the hotel advertised ability to exchange money for travelers checks but receptionist told us (on a sunday) she would not.
We loved the hospitality and guest service not to mention the good which were outstanding Nothing
Our 4 night stay was excelent even with the extreme heat outside there was plenty of refuge No
Stunning views, lovely pool, quiet and relaxing but near enough to other nearby places of interest I had two small children and some of the guests kept complaining that they were too loud whilst playing in the pool so not hugely child friendly
Cats in the restaurant outside . When you order tuna fish be prepared to have one or two cats linig up by your table to get a piece. Apparently in a Mediterraneon context this is quite normal but in our country this is not done. The food and Hygiene Deparment would intervene.
It was absolutely lovely. The setting, the room, the staff and the food were first class
Rooms simple but clean, great location. Breakfast beverages - coffee machine horrible.
The hotel is very central in Port de Soller, very big clean rooms, ok breakfast, and a very good value for the money.
Breakfast was fine and plentiful although a badly cracked cup should never have been out for customer use. Room decor and furniture old and tired.
Glorious location. Basic substantial food. Relaxed atmosphere. Beds could have had thicker mattresses. Otherwise warm and clean.
The location was good but the single bed room had no view and I couldn't even open the shutters to see what the weather was like. The standard of breakfast was extremely poor: all the drinks from the machine were appalling - the 'juice' was a very watery squash and the tea, coffee & chocolate beverages were totally undrinkable. This I felt was totally unacceptable and not in keeping with the hotel.
It was all good None really
The situation ,view and ambience were wonderful. The attention to detail and welcome were excellent. The room and facilities were good. The food quality was very good especially the breakfast buffet. None
The hotel was beautifully restored with an attractive outdoor eating area. The large room was tastefully decorated and had a large terrace overlooking the hills. The breakfast was excellent and evening meals were very good and well presented. The staff were always friendly and helpful, yet unobtrusive. The room warranted an individual shower rather than one over the bath. The terrace could have had more privacy.
Really helpful staff with a peaceful and tranquil location. Definite place to go back to. Also, excellent breakfast to set you up for the day ..... and dinner to end. Minor comment - you don't sign restaurant bills as you go. So rememberig what you had at the end could be confusing if there for an extended period. However, would still go back there!
Fantastic dinner in the restaurant with exceptional food, great wine and good service. The main hotel buildings have beautiful original features and the location is wonderfully peaceful. Our room was in an annexe and was very dark, musty and altogether pretty depressing, not at all in keeping with the rest of the hotel and a bit of a disappointment.
Beautiful, comfortable hotel in a peaceful location. Staff were very friendly and attentive
Accomodation was superb. Views excellent. Although we did not have time to use it, the Spa looked wonderful. My wife would have liked more light near the mirror. I would also have been nice to have at least one English speaking tv channel, maybe Sky News.
We had an excellent room in the main building which we were really please with, coupled with very good food and service. The boiled eggs were cold and hard at breakfast.
A very cosy hotel in lovely grounds. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff, especially Juan, the main person at the reception. The food was very good for hotel standard and there were daily specials (like an incredibly tasty suckling pig) on most days. The actual grounds are in a need of some TLC and the gym is in serious need of updating. Our room was one of only four in a separate building. It was very quiet, spacious, with a big bathroom and a dressing area, comfortable beds, pretty antique furniture. The veranda in front of it opened onto an olive grove. The swimming pool was a good size and deep, but the water could have been warmer - it never reached the advertised 26 degrees. All in all, a perfect spot to relax and get away from it all. Nets on windows would have been a good idea as it would have allowed us to leave our windows open, rather than keep the air conditioning on. It would have stopped all the moths and flies getting in and given us some fresh air.
food,service, and room excellent
Polite and very helpful staff who are a credit to the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Rooms slightly dated, but very comfortable.
Loved the setting, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, the rooms were delightful, the pool area was superb, the spa treatments were excellent.... I could go on! One thing that I would have liked is a hospitality tray in the room to make tea and coffee whenever we wanted.
Excellent location for a short break.Very friendly & helpful staff. A first class hotel Nothing
Quiet, pleasant atmosphere and Pascal is a superb host.
The hotel was informal, relaxed and well situated. Pascal was efficient and attentive without being fussy and only too happy to help if asked. The only minor irritant was that, in the well appointed bathroom, the lighting could have been a little better.
Excellent hotel - Pascal is a very good host. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts.
Very friendly welcome. Manager very helpful and provided a surprise free upgrade. Nothing, it was a very enjoyable stay.
The breakfasts were good. Nice bread Toilet was leaking and its very noisy on the road.
good location, welcoming proprietor,great breakfast,
Had a relaxed, home-from-home appeal with a truly gorgeous view. Rooms were comfy and very clean with shiny new bathrooms. Great value and friendly staff - perfect for our combination of walking and beach holiday. Only possible criticism - buffet food was mediocre.
The hotel is lovely especially the pool area and the eating area. The rooms were a bit small and dated plus if you're driving it's very confusing to find. Breakfast was lovely.
central to facilities. Wonderful view 136 steps to it although it walked off the dinner
Beautiful views of the port and surrounding mountains, lovely clean swimming pool. We booked a double room but was given a twin; the hotel staff said that there were only 6 doubles in the hotel so it was not possible to give us a double. Also the hotel was quite a way up the hill so anyone with mobility problems would find this difficult.
Nice place. Good size of a town. Fantastic nature. One of the headwaitwers. Staying in the annex for the first 3 days.
the location for soller and port of soller was perfect. straight off the tram to the hotel. beautiful setting and unique in its presentation and informality. only five rooms each excuisite. upgrade to the terrace room for the last five days... mind the head on the black king of the chess board... it is loose. on hindsite the price was way too much but that was my decision at the time. english language was nil... but we managed. if you like baaguettes all the time you'll love it
Unusual hotel, like staying in someone's lovely old house. The breakfast is cooked by the lady owner and is fantastic and served with great charm. The bed was comfortable, everything worked, my room at the back was quiet except for the occasional hoot from the ferrocarril - but I liked that.
The hotel - it is more a B&B - has a unique charm thanks to its period furniture. Owner Martha is very friendly (...in Spanish only though). Despite earlier positive reviews, we found our room lacking in comfort: our Red Room faces a narrow but busy main thoroughfare and consequently is extremely noisy (from 4 a.m. trucks to late night motor cycles). Also, at this time of the year (?) the room was full of mosquitos and no counter measures were available. As such, we did not sleep much of our three nights' stay. We recommend to book a room at the back - the hotel itself is lovely. Parking is only available in the street and at quite a walking distance. Breakfast with only one type of bread was rather mediocre, we found.
Everything was good but I liked the most the hotel stile maybe the room was little
The hotel was like an ol fashioned guest house run by the family. It was a small terraced building close to the centre of Soller.
Superb friendly staff (but spoke little or no English); beautiful, elegant rooms; very central for station and town square; wonderful breakfast!
The room was excellent. The staff very nice. Breakfast good
The owner was lovely even though she couldnt speak English we all thought she was fun and dedicated to making your stay enjoyable
Charming room, lovely breakfast in the garden
met my expectation totally , v,wellcoming feel ,great attention to the details in it s decor and service no
