I made this reservation thru booking. Com and it was paid for upfront. When I arrived, I rang the bell, as nobody was at the counter. The young lady came and I told her I had a reservation. She asked if the the the last four numbers on the credit card (she read them off) is what we were going to use for the room. I told her no as I've already paid for the room and I didn't have a credit card with the last 4 numbers she read off. She said she's never heard of that from booking.com. She said she couldn't get me a room because in there system it shows it hasn't been paid for. I showed her both my reservation and even my bank acct showing her it had been. It started to upset me as it didn't seem, at that time, that she was going to help. She kept on saying that booking.com doesn't do it that way and she's never seen that done before. After some time, she finally said she was going to call her boss. She called twice and this person didn't answer. She called another person and that person walked her thru where to look for our reservation. There was a better way to handle the situation. She initially made us feel we weren't going to get a room unless it was paid for. Even after showing her our reservation and bank acct. She made the situation frustrating because no matter what we showed her, it wasn't good enough. I became very frustrated, initially, because of how she handled this. After this situation was resolved, we really did enjoy this Inn! Loved the room and what the Inn offered.
