Pros: Pets were allowed, the breakfast was great and varied, and the suite and hotel were very clean.
The free use of the gas BBQ was a great bonus to not have to eat out.
Pros: After our "over booked-no room available" welcome, I was not in a mood to find much to appreciate.
Cons: "No room, we are oversold" Both my daughters & my booking provided an extensive conservation about sleeping accomidation. Steven, the desk clerk was doing his best to find rooms at other hotels. Everyone was full. After suggesting that I was considering restricting company expense allowances by any employee traveling on company business at all Marriott locations, he located one room at his hotel and found one additional room at another location. During the course of our conversation he mentioned that his manager instructed him to over book the number of rooms available. A very frosting experience!!!!!! (We called and informed the hotel that we would be checking in late)

Pros: Large clean and comfortable rooms. Parking right at your door and a reasonable breakfast choice offered. Friendly & helpful staff.
Cons: A 7min drive from the historic area. Nothing really to walk to from here, but easy access from here. Tiny bathroom with no towel rail & nowhere really to put things.
Pros: Great place to stay. Rooms were very clean and well designed. The sense of pride and commitment shows through for the owners in every detail. They were happy and very congenial is every way. We will be back.
Pros: Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great place to stop for an overnight stay.
Pros: staff (Ivanna and her husband) -nice people -I stayed 2 nights for the tour of the moon bike ride . they let me bring my bike into room . Also a great breakfast starts at 7 am.
Proximity to down town and hiway is also very handy .will book again for next years ride.
Pros: Very friendly family run motel. Take pride in their motel.
Cons: Needs some upgrading.
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff (Ivanna and her husband). She recommended good nearby restaurant (we were tired and hungry) and he helped us get the air conditioner running and she said I would be safe running the next morning in the area (which was true). The breakfast was fantastic!
A great choice for a stay in Grand Junction, Grand Junction Palomino Inn is just 4.6 mi (7.3 km) from the airport. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool, and free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Breakfast was rather ordinary. No help with luggage. And the big surprise was that we were charged for parking. When we arrived, the front desk person asked 'Would you like a parking pass?' when what she should have asked is "Would you like to buy a parking pass?' For the price we paid for the room, we would have expected more spectacular breakfast, help with luggage, and free parking.
Pros: They were super accommodating for us traveling with our two dogs, an put us in a room with easy outdoor access.
Cons: The breakfast left a bit to be desired
Pros: The layout of the room was so efficient! We loved the fact that one could shower and yet there was a seperate lavoritory.
Cons: Ok, I don't want to be a punk here, but ..... there really was not anyting! Even the "Free" breakfast seemed first rate. Hampton has been getting pretty chinsy lately.

Pros: The price and the cleanliness of the rooms were great.
Cons: There was no pool.
Pros: The staff are very friendly, and the room is clean. Parking lot is nearby and it's quiet. I would definitely go again.
Cons: The continent breakfast could be better, say for example there should be juices.
Pros: Staff is great and very accommodating
Cons: Little older little dated but best value

Pros: The rooms and facility were overall decently cleaned.
Cons: The comfort of the rooms was awful. The bed felt like I had slept on a bed of bricks. The hallways smelled terribly of Marijuana smoke. For the price of the room a lot more was expected.
Pros: The hotel was very clean and well kept up. The staff were all friendly and smiling the entire time we were there. I loved that the young lady at the front desk was interested in why we were there and gave some great suggestions for food, activities, etc.
Cons: CALLED AHEAD FOR PACK-N-PLAY NONE AVAILABLE. NO ROOM AVAILABLE UPON ARRIVAL DESPITE CALLING AHEAD TO CONFIRM.
Pros: The staff was great! So friendly. My only complaints would be that the general hotel temperature was way too hot. 80 degrees in May. I was dying and I'm from California . And the wierd eggs for breakfast that I thought were just eggs but had a creamy cheese filling. Should have been labeled .Otherwise, I loved the place and will for sure stay there again. And will! Comfy beds...get a balcony..so worth it.

Pros: Room was nice and clean and they gave us a warm cookie each during check in, which was a nice touch. We were on the sixth floor but the elevators were close and we were able to get to our room quickly.
Cons: The pool and jacuzzi closed really early, which I wasn't too thrilled about.
Pros: Very nice, clean, comfortable beds, nice pool area and had a playground for younger children. I think that's a bonus for young families!
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Cons: Everything was great & I thought it seemed clean, until when I was leaving & grabbing stuff off the nightstand and I saw a chicken bone on the floor. I was totally grossed out, so I was so glad I had not seen it the night before (we checked in late).
Pros: Cooked a bunch of food on their grill, that was clean and operating perfectly. The gym was great and the staff couldn't have been anymore pleasant. I love candlewoods! What more can I say.
Pros: Good location, clean room, good bed.
Cons: No breakfast is offered.
Pros: Newer, nice, and clean. Has a kitchen.
Cons: Because there are kitchens there is not a free breakfast. There is free coffee out of a machine. No pool FYI.
Pros: Kitchenette in the room.
Cons: There was no wine opener in the kitchen.
Pros: Love this hotel! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I used their gym and their laundry facilities which made it feel like home and they were extremely clean. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Definitely rebooking next year.
Cons: The water pressure in the shower was the ONLY thing I had trouble with.
It's hard to find nice places to stay in Grand Junction that are also pet friendly. This is the nicest hotel for the price that accepts pets.
Pros: Excellent staff, very nice rooms with full kitchenettes, laundry facilities, little store with food / drink / supplies just charge to room on the honor system, and pet friendly.
Cons: I love the hotel and only wish it had room service, but at that star level I don't think it's required.

Cons: We wished breakfast had been included in the stay. The indoor pool was a bit chilly.

Pros: It's hard to get a real good feel for a hotel in one night but no complaints. We were showing some friends around downtown since we inherited some property on the other end of the mall. We had dinner and drinks so it was nice to close to the hotel. The beds were awesome, very comfortable and the staff was friendly.
Cons: The elevator rubber wheels made a sliding sounds when coming to a stop on the 4th floor. It sounded like the rubber wheels were trying to catch up with the elevator stopping, a little weird sounding and bothersome. You might want to check on that.
Cons: Hot tub broken

Pros: Convenient to the station; friendly staff, comfortable room; some good restaurants
Cons: Ice machine loud near my room; main street pretty short
Cons: Did not like having to pay for parking, understand where during convention times(which there was not much happening when we were there) the hotel would need to charge non guests for parking too make sure there is parking for hotel guests, just do not believe you should charge guests parking fee

Pros: Great cheery staff, decent rooms, plenty of amenities, lots of fun can be had here for a little getaway.
Cons: Starting to show its age, rooms a little outdated, but its clean and everything works.
Pros: 2 beds
view of pool
Cons: 1.) We could not find the "do not disturb" plaque and called the front desk to have someone bring us one, but they told us we had to go to them to get it. Would have appreciated better room service.
2.) We bought laundry soap and dryer sheets to do some laundry our last day there, but then found out you did not have a change machine and your machines only took quarters. We did not have enough quarters, so drove to WalMart because it was later in the evening, but they did not give change like that and their customer service area was already closed. We ended up having to leave the laundry soap and dryer sheets there, un-used. Too much to pack in our suit cases, for the trip home early the next morning. Would have appreciated a change machine that could change dollar bills into quarters.
3.) There were no stairs, and with my arthritis, it was very difficult for me to carry all my luggage up to our room. Had to make several trips just to accomplish it all. Would have appreciated an elevator, as I'm sure any elderly and/or disabled person would.
4.) Was difficult plugging in lap-top at desk area. Had to get down on the floor and reach far behind the refrigerator area just to plug it into the strip area there. It was do that, or unplug the refrigerator in order to use it. Would have appreciated another wall outlet that was easier to gain access to.
Pros: Good breakfast. Decent wifi.
Cons: Property could use a makeover.
Pros: Hot tub, good breakfast, good service
Pros: Staff was very friendly, clean rooms, good bed and good breakfast.
Cons: Getting in and out of the facilities parking lot was difficult because of road construction.
Pros: Very good place. The hotel staff was friendly, check-in was a breeze, the rooms were clean and the Italian restaurant was delicious. I had a pizza and returned to my room very satisfied!
Pros: Quiet rooms
Pros: Clean, friendly, wonderful.
Pros: The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. We stayed in the back so it was quiet and peaceful.
Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like.
Pros: Breakfast was the best. Very clean and comfortable. Large room. Fitness was room was small but had a good variety of equipment.
Pros: Rooms were comfortable and quiet and the breakfast buffet was awesome!
Cons: Hot tub did not have the fast jets and agitation. It was just a tub of hot water.
Pros: Overall the place was great. Room was good and comfortable and clean
Cons: The problem with the place was I asked for a non smoking room, but it was not, the place had a definite cigarette order. After driving for 13 to 14 hours I was just to tired to make the move to another room. Would be nice if the Clarrion advertised it to be a non smoking room that it truly be a non smoking room.

Pros: I've stayed at the properties before so I was holding this hotel to the same standards and was really disappointed. The girl that checked us in was a little rude and seemed to give robot responses to questions we asked about restraints. The room was very old. The mattress appeared to have a stain on it. The shower was clean but there was. I soap or shampoo so be sure to bring your own.
Pros: Dog bark was not bad.
Hard boiled eggs hard to peal. Small item.
Cons: Staff was very very good.
Pros: The staff were very helpful in each interaction.
Octopus Coffee nearby is EXCELLENT!
Cons: Paperthin walls resulted in lots of noise from neighbors and outdoors.
Very lump bed and pillows resulted in very little restful sleep over three nights.
Pros: The staff was very nice and got us checked in quick during our late night check in.
Cons: We had small children with us and after being in the room for about 15 minutes the lady at the front desk knocked on our door and said the people below were complaining. My kids were not running or jumping, we were just trying to get them settled in quick for an early morning. I understand it was late but still I think it was unnecessary after only barely walking in the door to be told to be quiet when we're not making excessive noise in any way.

Pros: The place was pretty clean and they really tried to put a touch of class to the lobby. But that is what you should expect for less than the price you pay. They were able to accommodate a one hour early check in 2pm instead of 3pm.
Cons: The pool was just a small hole in the ground. The breakfast spread was standard for hotels that are priced out at half of what I actually paid.

Pros: The price was good for the location and cleanliness of the room.
Cons: The hallway smelled heavily of tobacco smoke.
Pros: Proximity to the airport was unparalleled and location was near the interstate (without the noise).

Pros: Location is great and price is reasonable.
Cons: Furnishings are sparse but comfortable.
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: It wasn't clean. The hotel might be out dated, but that is no excuse for all the dust that was in our room. There was about a one inch line all around the room where the vacuum couldnt get closer to the wall.
Pros: Love the large windows in the room, good Spacenter in the room.
Cons: Room felt like it was just the extra stuff room, paid for a sweet, much larger room.... same sized TV and stand put further away from the bed in an awkward location and setting. We stay here everytime I travel through this area and love there normal rooms. Will not upgrade again.
Pros: Close to CMU. Great lounge. Clean room. Good staff.
Cons: Wi-fi was weak and mostly didn't work. I wanted to watch a baseball game that wasn't available in tv channels that were available.
Pros: Well maintained properly. Decent size room. A good value for $50. A wonderful accommodating front desk staff. Luke was very kind.
Pros: Location was great. Easy access to downtown, business, etc. The price was very good for the quality of hotel.
Cons: Staff didn't provide all information about amenities when checking in. Had to ask if they had a pool a gym and where they were.
They could have offered recommendations to guest that were not on business travel to promote the city.
Did not have free coffee/water set up in lobby. Resturant food was over priced and not very good.
Pros: The views were amazing!! The king size suite was beautiful and large.
Pros: Location was good for our trip.
Cons: No temperature control either on or off.
Situated near the airport, this hotel is 2.7 mi (4.4 km) from Colorado Mesa University and 2.8 mi (4.5 km) from Western Colorado Center for the Arts. Grand Junction Golf Course and Canyon View Park are also within 6 mi (10 km).
Cons: breakfast was horrible. burnt bacon and nasty eggs
Pros: Leaving the hotel.

Pros: The complimentary breakfast was great. I believe, Marta, had the place up and running before 6am. The French toast was not overcooked, had hot syrup, & sausage was great.
Sil, at check-in, was accomadating to get me a first floor room after a long day of traveling. She was also friendly at check-out early the next morning.
The room was not clean. There was someone else's hair from shaving on & around the dish that had the shampoo/soap bottles. The bathroom had at least a week worth of dust on top of the shower. Dirty washcloths were in the bathroom as well.
The tea bags in the room were stained so at one time they had gotten wet, but were just returned & flipped over.
I probably will not be back to your location!
Pros: They were nice the rooms were clean they have an outside pool that my kids loved so all in all they had fun as did I.
Pros: Helpful Staff
