Very very close to the lake. Great brekfast on the terrace. Very kind staff.
Location in Gargnano village away from state highway, at the lake front. WiFi access with accurate billing. Dark and small room, wall opposite the window only 2m away, no view, hard matresses. Only 3-bed rooms available online, were charged for 3 even the room had only 2 beds and no space for a 3rd. Hotel has only 4 rooms with lake view, those are recommended. Some street noise late night from people and mopeds, otherwise quiet. No ventilation or a/c, open window a must (bring your own mozzie protection
The family run hotel was friendly and attentive. The breakfast area overlooking Lake Garda was especially nice as it give our family a nice start to our time in the Lake Garda area. Given that the hotel literally is overlooking Lake Garda and in a small town of Gargnano, parking is a bit of a challenge. Hotel does have an arrangement with the town parking site which is located approx 400 meters from the hotel.
It is worth staying here just for the view at breakfast directly across Lake Garda from the very edge of the lake. Helpful and welcoming staff
People were nice, the room was nice and breakfast good.
Excellent position, close to the Arena. Friendly and helpful staff, and parking available, at a cost, but very useful. We will be back..
The location. It's close to the main square.Breakfast is decent. The owner is a nice person The hotel is a two star one.By no means it is a three-star hotel.Furniture is basic. No tv channels on tv except for the main ones.No room in the toilet which is too small. No view from the window (a big wall just in front of u!), no plastic bags in the toilet bin.Water drops falling from the toilet tap every second.Toilet flash not working.
Breakfast was ok, nice clean and silent hotel. Friendly staff.Beautifull view from the dining room over the lake. No foreign language spoken, not even english or german. Tv on the room missing. We got a room for disabled people, which means no curtain around the shower. No view from the window, looking to the wall of the next house, 1 meter away from the window
Excellent hotelroom, airconditioning, very nice modern bathroom and we even had our own balcony! Breakfast at the terrace is perfect with a very nice view on Lake Garda. When asked for a breakfast to go, because of our early leave from the hotel, this was not a problem at all!
Although the rooms are small but the place is amazing. It is very clean and new/renewed. The staff are very nice and smiley. If I ever come back to that area (and I will) I will choose the same hotel.
We had an apartment which was spacious and had the most beautiful view you could imagine. Thoroughly recommend this place, particularly in terms of value for money. The drive up the mountain is a bit scary (very sheer drops from the road!), but it's definitely worth it. Would warn people that the apartments really don't have anything like toilet paper/cooking goods/towels/bed linen (except pots/pans/utensils), so do take your own or be prepared to rent/buy. The towel and linen package is eur15 per person for the stay. We did also get a few ants in the apartment, so definitely don't leave any food out, but on the whole, we were delighted with our choice. If you wish to check out before 8am, remember to do it the night before - it's not made clear in the documentation - rather just saying 'if you wish to check out at night...'. When we arrived at 7am (not really night if you ask me), there was no one on reception who was authorised to help. Fortunately the night supervisor made a special exception for us, but it's worth knowing that 'night' means before 8am if you want to save yourself a bit of stress!
The view from this hotel is beautifull. But all around Lago di Garda have almost the same view. Quite old furniture and hotel. Personel does not speak english very well, gets easily irritated when trying to communicate in english. Fluent in german though as it seemed.
The location and the surrounding views The management refused to give me 30% discount on the stay of my two children although it was advertised on their web site.
We went to Formula 1 for 4 days and ate at the Hotel in the Pizzeria We did not like the parking.....had to fight for parking every night. Also the hotel staff seemed hostile and unhelpful...only spoke italian and german.....we thought at least they would speak english! Appartment was lovely, but we had 2 single beds instead of 1 queen/king bed....also our pull out bed in the living room was welded together so we could only sit on it and not pull it out as a bed, as its purpose should be.
The villa was beautiful: its situation, the grounds, the views, the swimming pool, the exterior and the interior - stylish and luxurious. The service was fantastic, the food was of a very high standard and they catered to my gluten-free diet very well.
We have appreciated the staff's cordiality and the beautiful hotel dipped in an enchanting landscape. The restaurant offers excellent kitchen and excellent wine list. Good price quality relationship.
Our room was beautiful with the most amazing view, but not the minimum size of 35 sq m as described on your site - it was only 25 sq m - the evening dining was excellent and the staff very friendly Not enough shaded areas/umbrellas by the pool - breakfast buffet quite limited and suited to the German residents-room terraces would have been more private with some screening between them
Great view to the lake, very warm, romantic and family-style hotel, very kind staff. You have the feeling to be at home and the view by the terrace, patio and swimming pool is simply priceless. The room fan was noisy and annoying during the night, since it was on all time. It takes at least 20 minutes by car (mountain road) to get to Gargnano old town and to the lake.
Very unique hotel, with warm hospitality, excellent restaurant, amazing wine collection. The garden is beautiful, peaceful and romantic with it's breathtaking view to the lake.
Attractive hotel in a quiet lakeside location in a not-too-busy village. A good base for exploration.
Breakfast buffet was good, but evening meals were expensive, and not that good.Staff were pleasant. Parking was excellent.
It was a very pleasant stay and very romatic. As well as the hotel as the area. The hotel is managed by the two owning brothers and adds to the charming place a very cosy atmosphere.Great week. Unfortunately the pool is not heated
Excellent position on the lake, directly opposite the boat stop. Friendly staff, rooms and public areas very stylishly decorated and clean. Secure car parking, easy walk into town.
The hotel is a mess! Nothing at all!!! The" hotel" is a retirement home for elderly people, while we stayed there the ambulance came twice.Everything is a mess, unorganized !
Very clean. Good taste of furniture in the rooms, everything good & ergonomically placed. Great wellness area! Free sauna, Turkish bath, Hydro- massage swimming pool, relaxing area for a reservation over 4 nights, 5 Euro/ 2 hours for less than a 4-night-reservation! All rooms have direct view to the lake. Air condition working even if window's open! No charges for my (big) dog! The Breakfast: The cleanliness of the tables and of the places the breakfast food was placed was less than poor. Seems like they use the same and the same tablecloths again & again! Breakfast very poor. The worst of all it the staff by the Breakfast: Always with bad mood, always screaming to each other either arguing or making jokes. Lunch is prepared next door. The kitchen staff is giving a recital of loudness! And after being ready with the kitchen some of them continue screaming next to you in the roof-swimming pool. Staff hardly speaks English or German, most of them speak less than the basic level.
Nice and friendly staff. A balcony in the shadow on the afternoon. Our room ok but it we were celebrating my wife´s birthday so it could be more romantic. Very quiet in the evenings. Outside of the towm, you have to take car to get some dinner.
Location of the hotel directly at the lake. Beautiful park. Nice room with balkony. The food was not very good for a 4star hotel (and prices).
The friendly staff and the Christian ambience
We found the hotel to be just what we wanted - comfortable, friendly and helpful staff and with a lovely room overlooking the lake - all very peaceful. We would have liked to be a little nearer other restaurants at night - although the location was generally very pleasant and the hotel's own restaurant very good. We would have preferred no music in the restaurant in the evening
Location They charged me more than the price declared on booking.com
.English spoken, clean rooms with good ac. pleasant decor and very good breakfast. Terraces with sunbeds at room level facing the lake with effective ac. The noise from the main road which is very close. The hotel pool is across the busy main road. Though the pool is very nice.
small, friendly hotel. Very helpful staff, beautiful location and views. BUT - no air conditioning in the bedroom - so we had some very hot uncomfortable nights during the hot weather. A fan was provided but air conditioning is essential.
The pool is nice even that it´s not close to the hotel. The triple room in the upper floor is not suitable. Too small and extremely hot.
good hotel in a very nice village; very good breakfast; great panoramic view from the hotel over the "Gardasee"
Room was fine, although a bit crampy with three beds. Large bathroom, excellent breakfast with home-made jams. Not a super-hotel but well worth the price. Airco was a bit of a problem: made a loud humming noise. The swimmingpool was a short walk but along a very busy road.
There is a kind and easy atmosphere, and a beutiful viu over lake Garda. The price is good, and there is clean and the staf is kindly. There is thin valls, so we could hear the family nect door.
The staff was very polite and helpfull. The view to the lake from the panoramic terace was great. In the website there was written that hotel has the pool, actually the pool was not in the hotel teritory, but it was in the other place (near to the hotel).
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Wish we had made more use of the swimming pool.
Nice people in a nice place in a perfect location in Gargnano, right between the centre of the town and the beach.
Very nice room, very clean ,very helpful staff, location and room views excellent Staff did not speak very good english ,so any issues were difficult to resolve, the beds we hade were very very hard as are the pillows ,not giving a very good nights sleep. There are no ironing boards for the room, so no way to press crumpled clothes, unless you ask to use the hotels own laundry room, which takes time to request, due to language barrier.
Hotel staffs are very kind. Swiming pool is good. Breakfast is poor.
The staff was very friendly, there was a pleasant atmosphere, the location is very good - close to the beach (lake) and also the restaurants/shops. Near surroundings of the hotel are beautiful (garden), it also has a swimming pool.
Warm welcome and very helpful staff. Beautiful peaceful village setting. We had a tower room which was like a small suite with a delightful seating area and a super lake view. The sunsets were amazing! Excellent evening table d 'hote menu (didn't try the a la carte) and a good buffet breakfast. WiFi was intermittent but the staff tried their best to assist. Hot breakfast drinks were not hot enough though the friendly waitress rectified the problem promptly
The hotel lived up to its Bellavista name with commanding views of Lake Garda. You really need a car to stay here but as we drove to Italy that was fine. Good basic facilities with great views from our balcony. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel catering is aimed at the German market. We felt the continental breakfast was adequate but not to the standard we experienced in Austria/Germany/France. We only took one evening meal which was adequate but it was cheap compared to eating out.
The hotel was quiet, cool and comfortable. the owner was warm and very helpful. Breakfast was very good! a few more sum beds would have been good.
Excellent staff, clean, excellent breakfast, good location
the hotel staff was very friendly and useful. The room was large and comfy. The breakfast was very good.
Our stay was excellent. The hotel was very clean and the owner very attentive. Great swimming pool at the end of a long day. Nothing
Very pleasant hotel with family atmosphere. Excellent care for guests and reach breakfast. As an improvement I would like propose internet access to be included in the price.
Very nice and helpful owners. The breakfast was really nice with homemade marmelade and lots of fresh fruit, figs etc.
Air contidioning to rooms, more freshness to furnising and atmosphere
A friendly and pleasant hotel in a convenient location for beautiful Lake Garda and all its amenities.
the welcome, parking, breakfast and swimming pool no air conditionning
Location excellent if viewing Lake Garda. Maderno very close with harbour and a few, excellent, reasonably priced places to dine.Staff most helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent. Very spacious clean room for 4 people. Very hot in rooms during the night even with fan on.
Very nice location at Garda see. Personal is very skillfull and speaks english. Rooms are clean and air-conditioned. Hotel has own inside swimming pools. I recommend this hotel!
Compare to other continental breakfast the breakfast in this hotel was above average. The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting south and north of Garda lake. It was also suitable to Dolomite trip. Hotel has a swimming pool. Sauna is with additional rate. See view from the dinning room and from the our room.
Very close to Lake Garda with an excellent view, parking and pool. Rooms are a bit dated but still an overall good value considering the location and professionalism.
Indoor pool was excellent, breakfast was very good. Italian obsession with wearing hats in swimming pool.
View from our room was nice. The hotel and room were clean and maintained well. The breakfast wasn't good. The quality of the ingredients was so poor. Indoor pool was cold, so my 4 year old daughter coudn't play long there.
Good view from the hotel room, good access to the hotel Breakfast always the same and relatively poor, without vegetable
We stayed here as part of a 12 day driving holiday between Spain and Venice and it was our favourite hotel we enjoyed everything about it and it will always be a very happy memory and hopefully we will return one day.
