Staff was nice and helpful. Convenient to interstate Clean Needs a little TLC. Rate was way too high for the property, though understandable as it was a race weekend.
Great location. Easily found. Close to restaurants and stores. Free full breakfasts were a plus too! Only one ice machine for the whole place and the beds were not comfortable.
Room was big, clean and comfortable. Pleasantly surprised that there was even a microwave and refrigerator in the room too. TV was very nice as well.
Their staff was friendly, very helpful and really seemed to like their job.
The only good thing was it was close to our destination. We were shown 3 rooms before we were given one that was decent. We were going to leave, but the only other hotel in the area was an econolodge next door which was rated below Knights Inn on trip adviser. One room had dozens of cigarette holes on the bed
Close to the interstate. Easy to find. Close to several restaurants (but the city has some weird 'food tax' that is double the sales tax... Be aware). Rooms were adequate. No elevator. Bed frame on one of the beds in 303 has a metal piece sticking out and my 72 year old mother came away with a nasty bruised ankle because of it.
Breakfast was good The price we had to pay
location to our target objective no hot water...had to advise front desk that there was no hot water non-smoking corridor smelled like cigarette smoke---violations taking place no cups (plastic or otherwise) in room
Cheap, off the hwy hotel best describes this location. The water was not hot, which was troublesome for such a cold day outside.
It only took 30 min to get to the race track. For $360.00, I got two wash cloths, two hand towels, and two large towels. One of the wash cloths fell apart when I twisted the water out of it. The towel rack fell off the wall when I pulled the towel off. The blanket one the bed had cigarette burn holes in it. The AC unit would not cool the room. A piece of conduit fell off of the wall when I went to plug in the lamp, leaving exposed wires. They advertised continental breakfast but did not have one. We were worried about leaving our belongings in the room so we re packed and took our things to with us on Sunday. When we returned to the room that night it was straightened up but we noticed that the sheets had not been changed. When we decided to skip the Sunday race because of rain, they refused to credit my card. The locals refer to it as a hourly rental place and were shocked when they heard it cost $180.00 a night. It was a dry place to sleep.
Good location and accessible to attractions, nice setting above Interstate which is not really visible; quiet, 250 yards off rt. 11, so no visible traffic; no noise; adjacent pastureland. Continental breakfast and coffee were minimal.
