Pros. We stayed overnight as we were at the Armadillo for a concert. Check-in was straightforward. Allocated a big corner room. However we did have a couple of minor problems. The TV wouldn't work without a remote control and there wasn't one in the room. Reception eventually sorted this out, but wasn't too impressed with the young chap who tried changing the channels from the side of the TV. Didn't he realise we had already tried that and failed? Enough tea and coffee facilities. Nice touch having a fridge in the room for our much needed water. Beds were comfortable. Shower in the evening was fine and hot. Completely different story in the morning though. It was a quick shower and out as the water was lukewarm. Had a drink in the residents bar before retiring to our room. Bar was nice. Hotel room was clean but did need a little TLC with frayed carpet and curtains hanging off the rail. We wanted a cheap and cheerful place for a night and that's what we got.
