The owner was great. There was no separate shower enclosure, so the whole bathroom was wet every time one of us took a shower.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Adequate breakfast. Must be strategic about WiFi locations. Not available everywhere on site.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the cave room we were in was very nice. Very reasonable for the price, I would recommend it. Mattresses were quite hard, and there was a mix up with our booking when we arrived - I had booked a cave room for two nights, but this had not been checked so we stayed in an ordinary room on the first night but were moved into the cave room on the second night.
Roof top place, delicious breakfast, kind and helpful staff, wonderful view from window (terrace) of my room! awsome green tour. it's not so easy to meet new people.
Owner and staff are incredibly friendly. From the hotel terrace you can enjoy a relaxing and magic atmosphere.
the staff was nice the double cave room we booked online was not available when we got there. They gave us a regular room
The hotel staff were pleasant and the room was very clean and the cave rooms are very dark!! Very noisy at night with constant people going up and down corridors and breakfast was not fresh. I did find it hard to sleep. To be fair we did not get to meet Mustafa as he was away
The wieving of the chemny-fair in front of our balcon in one of the most beautifull place of Cappadocia Staff not very good
Lovely staff and helpful with planning the trip without being intrusive, only when asked did they offer help and was good advice. We came in with the night bus and could check in early as there was an available room which was great, not having to wait till 12pm. The view from the terrace in the morning when arriving from the bus station was astonishing, much better sunrise view than sunset. Am not sure if the cave rooms were really cave rooms.
Locatıon Havıng a shower ıs an adventure. very poor faccılıtıes.staff was all tıme tryıng to sell trıps, I was there for four terrıble nıghts only waıtıng to leave to feel better. it is not a cave it is a house, wıthout aır condıtıonıng, dıd not sleep well becouse ıt ıs too hot ın the nıght. The room ıs nearby a road and cars pass 1 meter from the wındow, very noısy.
The rooms were really clean and the location of the hotel is very nice. I was able to ask anything I want to the staff about the hotel or the area. Wireless Internet was not working properly in the room I stayed, even in the lobby it was not so effective.
Good Location on the edge of Town. Good Breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice 'Cave Like' Atmosphere, and Roof Terrace with lovely views. No hanging rails in Wardrobes only coat hooks ! Poor Lighting in room.
Price, location & adequate comfort and clean rooms & a nice fire place lobby Breakfast could be better .....
Helpful friendly staff could help you with organising trips etc.Nice decor in hotel food good prices for drinks were a bit high but you can find alternatives nearby
Hotel was very goodvalue for money, the overall experience was so good, and the character of the hotel made it a very pleasant stay No to impressed by the evening menu available for the price expected. at 2.30 am on all 3nights were woken up by a "drummer". Basically someone playing a drum very loudly for 15 to 30 minutes? Not sure why!
Very good and beautiful location. Nice old style building, stylish but not too big rooms. Our dog was welcome in the hotel :) Breakfast wasn't too varied.
Good position for access to sight seeing. Gurup was a nice location. Helpful and friendly staff. Mostly the size of the rooms and particularly the shower rooms (we actually had a superior room). They were just too small. The wardrobes had hooks in - no rails for hangers.
the rooms aren´t big but they are really confortables
relatively central. breakfast was good focused on coach parties, so could be noisy at times late at night
This hotel is managed by a very experenced team. The owner and staffs are very friendly and furniture and facilities in the room is very good.
The staff is very nice and the location is very good (center of town) I think they have to improve there rooms by adding some small elements like small individuale lamps by the beds, towel-hanger in the shower room or a closet in the main room.
I was so satisfied with Blue moon Motel. room was beutiful and cozy. I could see Goreme town and Rose Valley from the terrace which was so magnificent. Also, the staff of the hotel was kind, cheerful, and family like. I could exprience the authentic Cappadocia thanks to help of the manager cemil. He informed me the best itinerary during the limited schedule of 1day in Cappadocia. breakfast was wonderfull on the terrace thanks to Blue Moon Motel and cemil. i want to come back with my parents in august 2010 again.
Realy what ican say about this hotel , inspite of the modesty of this hotel but Mr.Cemil Celep (the manager) make it more than just an hotel staying by his great hospitality. Nothing at all
is in the middle of the region of capadocia Don't have much facilities!
The hotel is in a pretty good location in the center of Kapadokia region wich is amazing. Gemil, the manager of the hotel, was very nice and helpfull at the hotel and we could also enjoy his privite tour around Kapadokia, totally worth it. The toilets were not cleaned during our stay
The scenary and accessibility to hikes and the Open Air Museum was the best. Cemil was very nice and helpful (we lost our luggage in Rome).
the owner of the pansion is very kind and helpful. motel is near the location. ıf you are a door customer it is better. because the online cost is more expensive. we have experienced that
Very nice staff very helpfull. Rooms were ok and location is very central. Jemie, the manager, has been very informative for our stay.
A lovely, family-run hotel. Mustafa, his family & staff do not scrimp on working to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. Mustafa´s experience in the hotel trade shines through. His attention to detail and friendliness set Aydinli apart from other hotels at this price level.
The staff were incredible; Both Mustafa and Cem gave us their personal cell numbers incase we ever needed anything when away from the hotel. They were very helpful and provided assistance whenever they could. The rooms were very big and clean and the beds were comfortable. Although the breakfast was delicious, the selection was a little limited.
This is a family run hotel, which was previously Mustafa's family home he grew up in. His son Cem runs the hotel and they are a lovely, friendly family. They are very welcoming and will go out of their way to help you. The rooms are very beautiful and they retain family keepsakes. We highly recommend this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Extremely courteous and helpful owner and other members, antique look of the cave dwelling, food and the location everything was excellent . A unique experience.
everything is fantastic, highly recommended.
Mustafa and his son, Cem were very helpful and lovely people. They recommended alternative walks for us to do and even dropped us off at the start of these! My husband received a fantastic birthday cake with breakfast and we were looked after very well.Breakfast was always plentiful and very fresh and our room was beautiful. Nothing we did not like.
One word. Wonderful!!!!!
Dazzling place and garden. Very nice staff. Super breakfast. Perfect location to visit Cappadocia.
The building and the furnitures and the interior design
What I liked most about the SECH is the relax environment. It is if you are on vacation at home. Plenty of space (with two chairs and a table) in front of the 'hotel'-room where you can sit and relax after a busy day of sightseeing in the area of the marvellous peri bacalar. Also the dinner provided by the hotel was great. A huge choice in appetizers, main dishes and desserts and that for the price of 30/35 lira (12 euro).
It was a charming hotel and I enjoyed the turkish dish that they gave at breakfast. It was a bit far from the town centre.
All was ok. Good place and friendly service Only 1 blanket for 2 people
I liked the architecture, use of local materials and design concepts with all modern conveiniances. The breakfast was good but the eveneing meals were limited to a buffet type meal.
Lovely decoration and similing staff No slipper at the rooms
Secluded garden courtyard, the ambience, the intimate atmosphere of af a smaller establishment. Friendly staff. Nothing, had a great stay.
very charming refurbished cave hotel, lots of attention to interior details
Everything was good. Very good place staff frindly and helpfull owner. Everything was excellent
This hotel exceeded all expectations. My room was beautiful - spacious, and comfortable and exquisitely decorated. The food at both dinner and breakfast was wonderful. The staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The place is wonderful. Nothing - it is a near perfect place. The one thing I didn't like were the foam pillows on my bed. I requested feather pillows, and they immediately brought me three of them!!!!! The place is wonderful and the service is excellent.
The location of the hotel is okay, directly within the special area of Kapadokia, a very special place on earth this is the biggest misrepresentation on the net ever!!!!! "We have satellite TV" means that there is a TV at the reception and the manager watches Turkish MTV! "We have 24 hours hot water" is a blatant lie, as is the heating system which is only switched on late in the evening. But mostly the price and the facilities: In their own brochure there is a beatiful bathroom - very different from the stinking room I had. The price as per the own homepage is advertised as Euro 30 for the double room. For a family room (same thing with 4 beds) I was charged Euro 69 and no complaint helped!
the attention of the owner and the friendly atmosphere
İt is a novel place to stay...more for backpackers...very handy for all capaddocia tours which staff will arrange if need be. One complaint İ have is that İ emailed the staff and booked an airport transfer for 12 Euros and had a confirmation e-mail back. However no one was ther to collect me and once İ realised İ was all alone İ had to take a taxi which cost 150 TL.....İ comlained and the manager Isa shrugged and said it happens...İ told him İ had e-mails from him and he denyed he ever had any! İ went on the internet and found my proof and said İ felt he was at fault and not the shuttle company....He was indifferent and not willing to make a reduction ın the accomodation.Despite this İ did have a fabulous tıme and thank you for your part ii see above as İ do not have time to type more.
The staff were very helpful and the location was close for everything, sleeping in a cave was a wonderful experience.
Uniqueness of cave rooms, friendly communal atmosphere, variety in breakfast selection, very helpful in booking activities, comprehensive info file on region. Signage to and at hotel looks a bit old and shabby, doesn't do the hotel justice.
The personal was not very helpfull. the rooms are extremely unclean. don´t recomend this hotel to anyone
Service is very good. The boss is very nice. Best place in our trip.
The set up was very nice outside. Lounging there is great. Also nearby city center and mountain top to watch the hot air ballon launches. Hotel ppl knew a lot about local trips and trans services to the airport. Overall made planning easier. Rooms were muggy sometimes, so a/c would make the hotel the best ever experience.
the location and a great view.
The location of the hotel is just perfect. Breathtaking view from balcony and room window. Cleanliness is well maintained. No facility of lunch and dinner. Only breakfast was served.
calm, clean, excellent wiew, helpful staff. Thank you Ahmet n/a
It's good location to access to Cappadocia, especially to see a sunrise as well as a sunset over the site on the hill.
Inspirational location - stunning views - excellent quality - beautiful design
Design and cleanliness of the room were very good. Staff (Erdi & Veli) were very friendly and they tried everything to help our trip making better.
The atmosphere the cave rooms had. The friendliness of the owners son. The good srvice and attention we were provided All hotels in Turkey that we stayed in could us more lighting.
The hotel is very closed center of Goreme. I loved this hotel. Atmospher, smiling, friendly hotel. Thank you for everything... Nothing
The hotel is close to the city centre. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub. Hotel staff are helpful and curteous. Nice breakfast. A very authentic feel, while still being comfortable with all the amenities. The photo of the room was not accurate. The fireplace in the room was drafty. No safe in the room.
The hotel was lovely. Very comfortable bed and great bathroom. The room was really large and had space for 2 armchairs for relaxing. The view and location was great. The staff were very helpful with all things from laundry, transfers, day trips and places to eat.
Localization. The was no comfort or enterteinement. Theres no television control (only DVD control, so the TV doesn't work), there was no hot water in the bath, theres was hot sun on the tables of the breakfest room (without curtains), theres was no place for a decent reception.
The manager, Faruk, was very helpful--even took us on a hike through the valley just because he wanted to on his "free day". The food they cooked on the terrace for dinner was fantastic. We liked this place quite a bit! It was clean & comfortable! Just the fact on our second day our towels from the first day were refolded & put back on the shelf like they were new--and they weren't! They were a bit musty after being folded up since things don't dry well in a cave! But it wasn't a big deal--we got new clean ones the next day. And I'm sure if we had asked we could have gotten clean ones anytime.
