6.3 Good
Pros: Good and extensive breakfast, clean and nicely done rooms.
Cons: The staff was extremely rude when she found out I would arrive at 30 minutes past midnight (I called here after arrival at about 10.30PM) due to my flight being delayed and indicated that my two night stay was not worth preparing a room key for after 10 PM. Long, ineffective discussions on the phone and at breakfast the next morning and lack of pragmatism instead of a customer oriented solution. Not what I would expect from any hotel - whether 4 stars, 0 stars or 5 stars.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Seiwald is a very very nice Family resort, the venue is newly renovated, the Sauna and jaccuzies on the top floor as simply FANTASTIC ( the sauna turn 360 degrees and you can watch the snowfall outside ) the staff is very, very , very nice and really looked after us. Seiwald is Family owned and operated and we really respect this, great job, even as a couple without kids we felt very good !
Cons: The bar needs to be larger and more professional, the music is simply horrific, the times are over where you play endless Austrian Jodler staff, and Frank Sinatra 'Schnulzen'. The Senior Management needs to add some modern PEPP and Hippness to the place !! Service and COOL and 'Grosszuegig' is key for the future, this would really make the place perfect !!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, nicely maintained hotel with Austrian-countryside-typical touch. Great personal and caring customer care by the owners, nice spa and beautiful terrace with sun throughout the whole day
Cons: Some service staff was a little bit unorganized, for example we left our luggage in the morning to pick up in the afternoon for check-in and even we were fully packed with staff the friendly service did not offer any help with the luggage nor have proactively brought it to the room for us in the meantime
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, everything well organized, amenities beyond expectation. Everything was excellent. It is definitely a place to go for the winter vacation.
Cons: No issues at all!!
6.8 Good
Pros: The big games room for kids. Food was very good. Rooms were very clean and everyday attended. Hungarian Waiting staff and chefs were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Charging for water! Boot room was well located but needed heated boot warmers. Pool area was a bit tired and no steam room plus sauna was naked sauna . Some receptionists were brisk and not particularly genuinely friendly.
7.5 Good
Pros: It is an ok..ish place....but that is it.
Cons: Our room was too cold for comfort. There seemed to be just one tepid radiator for a big room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities..gym, sauna, pool, garage, lifts etc. Breakfast and dinner were varied and always plentiful. Staff were friendly and although a very german/austrian orientated hotel, we never had any problems in communicating. Rooms were a good size, always clean and warm. We usually stay in Ellmau which has closer facilities, but were very happy with this Hotel and would go again.
Cons: Personally it was too far to walk to ski lifts and although the ski bus stopped outside, it was only every 35 mins. We had the use of a car however so we were fine as it is only 3 minutes to Going chair lift and 10 minutes to the main Ellmau Gondola. One small point is that water at dinner was not complimentary and cost 3.50e for a jug!...thats about the only criticism however.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an excellent place to stay. The view from the balcony in our rooms was fantastic. The breakfast was super. There is a little playground in the yard, my son loved it! The hosts were friendly and helpful. Felt like we were visiting friends! There is a room where you can sit and play games and cards, which they have there for you to use, my son also loved that. Going is a beautiful little town and we loved every inch of it. Will definitely be back!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, owner, very quiet during the night!!
Cons: There was no communal area. I didn’t need it but if it rains (which it does regularly!) the guests‘ only choice is to sit in the (smallish) room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It felt very traditional to the Tirol and was very homely.
Cons: We liked everything but hot drink facilities would have been good in the afternoon / evening.

7.0 Good
Pros: Great Location just by the Ski Lift and Ski rental (although Going is in the edge of SkiWelt, so it takes long to reach other slopes). Big room, with separate toiled and bathroom and small kitchen. Big parking and free of charge.
Cons: Service was poor. Employees did not do an extra effort. We were seen as the guys disturbing them, not the customer that pays their salaries. Unlike other hotels in the area, the owner was not present and that was felt. Minibar was not filled after consumption. Reception closes by 9pm.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location if the hotel is stunning! Staff and service very helpful!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We were very fortunate to arrive with the best snow conditions in 20 years making the ski in ski out location perfect, with just a short walk (50m down slope) to a bouncing bar once you have got rid of ski and boots. The breakfast is as good as any I have had in a hotel and whilst the evening restaurant menu is a limited, it is all of good quality and plenty of it for the hungry skier!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful jolly staff, great location next to ski lift up to Blattlalm / Asberg. Easy to walk into Ellmau and Going villages. Easy parking. Small but very nice swimming pool. Stunning mountain views. Easy parking.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast!
7.5 Good
Pros: very good breakfast
4.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was superb
Cons: The owner was extremely rude to my partner and to other guests. He hovered around the breakfast area, scolding anyone who mistakenly used the wrong size cup, or did anything that he disapproved of. When my partner picked up a small milk capsule to put in her tea, he grabbed it from her hand and told her that she couldn't have milk in her tea. This was not the only similar incident and reduced her to tears. We saw her treating other clients in the same way. We were in room 7 which was adjacent to their rooms. In the afternoons we had to put up with listening to him shouting at his wife endlessly - not acceptable!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Typical Tyrol house, good breakfast
Cons: The hotel manager had a high likeness to Basil Fawlty...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners/managers were friendly and helpful. They provide the best breakfast I've had any any hotel or gasthaus in four winters of taking ski trips to Europe: the first place I've stayed that has press-your-own fresh orange juice and fresh blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries. There is a lot of snow in Austria this winter and they keep the road to their gasthaus plowed and clear. The ski shuttle stops fifty yards away. It is just a five minute walk to shops and restaurants.
Cons: I stayed in a single room and it was a bit small, but functional.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the view from the balcony and the breakfast variety and the taste of the food !
Cons: a little hard to park the car, but the owner helped
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast is served every day until 9.30 - this is especially for weekends far too early. Staff was not flexible about my remarks....The hotel is a little "junk-yard" of everything - definitely charming. Hopefully only temporary, but internet was not working well.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was good and the bed comfortable.
Cons: Room was tiny and in the basement so we had a lot of noise from the rooms above. No WiFi. We had to call the guest house on arrival as no one was there to greet us. The man that did eventually turn up was so incredibly grumpy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a beautiful property in a beautiful location. Breakfast is very good (provided you sit where you are supposed to!).
Cons: The owners/managers don't speak English. There is no obligation but it would help. There is no info or guide written in English and you're spoken to in German/Austrian. I was actually yelled at for sitting at the wrong table at breakfast. Wifi not 100%.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was incredible, so much choice and quality! Our room was clean and offered all comfort we needed.
Cons: The man who welcomed us was really rude. When checking in, we heard what sounded like a woman who was crying/complaining in a room nearby, that was a bit awkward. The lady who did our check out was nice.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff, good breakfast, nice and cosy hotel
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly personnel.
Cons: Breakfast was average.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were wonderful, great food and great location
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable. Returning nightgoers and thin walls.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Fresh coffee, eggs cooked to order, excellent selection of breaks and cakes. Reception staff were friendly. Best ski locker room I've used. Heated lockers and plenty of room / seats for putting boots on etc
Cons: The ski bus was only every 30 minutes and last ride back from Ellmau was 17:30. That doesn't make it easy to get skis back to the hotel if you have a few beers in town at the bottom of the slopes. Not the hotel's fault obviously, just need to be aware of the timings. The village is only a 15 minute walk which is fine once you've changed into casual clothes for the evening, I just wouldn't recommend it with ski boots.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, friendly owner and attentive happy staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was good and wholesome. Varied breakfast, mostly cold but with all the fresh bread and pastries who needs more.
