Rooms, pool terrace, breakfast and location More sun loungers needed near the pool
The hotel was in a good position for the everything you need on a short break. The room was at the front of the hotel and was very noisy, particularly late at night, and early morning. The pool and terrace facilities were not available, which we were unaware of before we travelled. The dining room had recently been altered and was not as appeared on the website.
Location is great, staff super nice
The free wifi, the remaining of the 16 centuries underground in the entrance of the hotel, near to Alhamra 10 min by taxi, the old & new shopping stores No dry clean service, the bathroom aparts no privacy, and there is smell in the bathroom
Great location for visiting the Alhambra. Upper rooms nice. Good views. Nice to have drinks out on terrace. Staff was very good, patient and wanted to help guests enjoy their stay. Construction almost done. So it will be nice when fined. The upgraded rooms are enjoyable.
Average, dont bother, our suffering should be enough! Nothing
very very clean. and near by downtown no
the location was good. clean. the room we got was toward inner side of the building, so there was neither bright sun light nor fresh air. The soundproof was really bad that I can hear voice and toilet sound from the next room and I had to bear every slam of the door in other rooms.
Came to visit some friends that were already familiar with the area. -cleaniess of the room -spacious -staff members were great -close to all the cafes, tapas, restaurants and shops -next to the bus stop to see the Alhambra -there are a few signs for the hotel but it could use some more as there are no major streets to it. That's about it.
Really small room. I've requested for a non smoking room and they gave me a smoking one. Window view poor, just in front of a wall. I would have given this hotel 4 stars category. I would have given 2 or 3 stars no more.
The location is incredible. We felt like we were in the heart of Granada without being at the epicenter. You can walk to the Catedral de Granada, the Albaicin and the Alhambra (although that is steep and you might want to taxi). Even without those amazing sites the plazas and winding streets are charming and enough for any tourist. The Hotel is beautiful. One modern building and one classic. Both are kept up. We stayed in the modern building and looked upon the classic. It was done in a way that didn't distract from either building. The staff is friendly. If you've rented a car then you can park it for a small fee. The Food & Beverage department appears to be severely understaffed. The staff works hard but they seem frazzled and their scope of work seems to be too large - indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar tending and bussing.
The old part of the hotel looked spectacular, shame that you didnt get to stay in a room in this part. Very central location. Convenient to walk to all the sites and nightlife Spa was very disapointing, staff were very attentive but the pool was too cold to sit in and relax and the steam room was only big enough for 4 people to sit comfortably. Room was ok but was not keen on the glass walls for the toilet and shower (personal preference) and dissapointed that one of the dressing gowns in the room was ripped.
The personnel/staff are really nice and the room and bathroom are very confortable and clean.
It was in a very central part of the town. The entrance lobby looked good. First, booking.com stated that 3 adults+1 child could stay at the room for 40 euros with no charge for the extra bed; however, they charged us an extra 20 euros for the extra bed. Second, the WC was very cramped and the bed covers and pillows were not very clean.
the very helpful desk staff that were able to assist us with our stay and provided accurate information about Granada
Kathy at the front desk was fluent in English and helped us in several ways. The floor of our room was not very clean.
We were upgraded to the older section of the hotel which was very quiet. The room was very spacious and nicely appointed. Last few nights in Spain, thought we would splurge. Hotel recommended some excellent restaurants.
The best thing about staying at the hotel was free internet acces, the courtyard, easy acces to the centre of the city. Free mini bar was good There was no music channel availabe through the tv. No cd player or radio to listen too. The safey deposit box should be in the room with a coded box. The sauna facilites were good but a swimming pool would have bene better. No tea and coffe facilites availabe in the room.
Helpful and friendly staff fantastic location
Helpful and friendly staff fantastic location The hotel is surrounded by bars and pubs, it was impossible to sleep during the weekend starting on Thursday. Drunk people screaming and braking bottles on the street all night long.
I was in a rush when I first came to check in. One of the staff said he would take care of the bags and I could finish my check in when I returned. When we returned a few hours later, check was quick and bags were delivered to our room. Then when we needed help once again at the front desk someone assisted us right away and got us the information we needed. Customer service was excellent. Water pressure was great too. Location was really close to everything. About 5 minute drive from Alhambra. Found a few hairs in the bathroom that were not ours (sink, bathtub). Standard Room was a bit small with our bags opened up and the washroom was tight as well. We were there on a Friday night and stayed up pretty late but when we decided to call it a night, we could still here a lot of noise from the street. Disadvantage of being in such a good location close to everything.
Large room and bathroom with balcony and lovely view of mountains and Alhambra. Very comfortable bed and very quiet [though the hotel was not busy and possibly there was no-one else on our floor]. Unfortunately no mention of the ongoing roadworks which currently make it impossible to drive to the hotel. We eventually gave up trying, parked and walked the two blocks with cases. Would not have booked if I'd known, but once there the roadworks weren't a problem except to spoil the view of the road.
