10.0 Excellent
Cons: I didn’t like having to drive up the road from the Inn in order to check in and get a key. Everything else was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sat outside on pier with bottle of wine. Nice touch that there was a lap blanket to use.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This B&B is in a great location overlooking the water.
Cons: This was a great location, but our room, the Garden Room, faced the street. This is only the 2nd B&B I've ever stayed in, so I didn't know quite what to expect. The bed in our room was OK but not great. We had trouble finding an outlet for a CPAP and in the process noticed that the headboard was not connected to the bed, so it fell over a bit. The room decor was just OK--very plain and old, but maybe that's to be expected. At least we had an en suite bath, but I felt like the price of this stay was very expensive for what we got. Also, the breakfast was really light. There were breads/bagels, etc., one small bowl of fruit, some yogurt, a plate of cheese, hard boiled eggs, coffee and juice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable place, hosts were very accommodating for our young family. I would highly recommend this place. Amazing room, location was perfect and a good breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location on the water is stellar, the bed was really comfortable, bathroom very nice, kitchen, sitting rooms have great views and are modern.
Cons: Hot breakfast would have been only improvement for my husband and I. He has dietary restrictions so we like to do our own food when possible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hostess in the morning. Answered many questions
Cons: Bathroom down the hall but we knew this when reserving
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lighthouse room had such a beautiful view of the ocean!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about the Auld Farm. We received a very warm welcome from our hosts and our room was lovely and very comfortable. The communal living area provided a great opportunity to chat with both our fellow travellers and hosts and to have cuddles with their resident fur baby. Breakfast was delicious and ample and the property a very interesting place to explore. We only stayed one night but wished we had been able to stay longer. We will be recommending this property to all of our friends who want to visit Nova Scotia.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Glen and Jan are welcoming hosts at their farmhouse B&B. Our trip coincided with the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian. The B&B had power back but the internet was down. That was a slight inconvenience that couldn't be helped. KC the golden doodle is a charming hostess! Nice selection of breakfast foods.
Cons: Our bathroom could use just one more towel rack!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the perfect place to stay, superb location lakeside, great company, fantastic homestyle breakfast, really the perfect little farm! We rode out our first hurricane with Terri and Dave, they kept us super comfortable despite the power loss and set us all at ease. Our young son enjoyed the barn and ALL the animals immensely and didn’t want to leave. We got to meet some locals while staying at the Seaweed and Sod and riding out hurricane Dorian, if you are lucky during your stay you might just learn about ‘storm chips’ too. This was our second time visiting Cape Breton and we loved experiencing rural life, they made us feel like family and it was much appreciated!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Personable hostess with the mostess, ever so comfy bed, quiet space, room with a view (Whale room), a delicious hot breakfast and appreciated the beautiful property with our pooch allowed to run in the back field, too! We felt right at home with all the pets and farm animals there, too.

Pros: The location and food was very good.
Cons: It may sound petty however for the money you pay however I found the rooms were not overly clean, I also found the towels to be extremely thin and small, on the second day they only gave us one towel, we had to go and ask for more, no blow dryer.

Large property for kids to run around on and hiking trails too. We didn’t eat at restaurant. Bed was okay. Limited outlets. Small porch to sit on. 8.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is as good as it gets in Baddeck. Views of the water are spectacular, walking distance to almost everything in downtown.
Cons: No air conditioning in our unit, but is available in some, you do need it since the lights in the parking lot require you to close your curtains even though the nights are moderately cool in late August. Their internet WIFI did not work, not for lack of trying. They apologized for that and had multiple Bell Atlantic people working on it. No fault on their part. Would definitely stay there again. The staff are extremely nice.

Cons: Nothing to not like in Baddeck.
6.3 Good
Pros: There was no soap in the bathroom. Had to use shampoo to wash.
Cons: When I went to check on at 2 pm I was told the room might not be ready till 4 pm. Her explanation was that they only had 2 cleaners and it was the last day they were open. Not acceptable and I told her that. 3 pm was check in and there shouldn’t be any exceptions. Especially that its our last day that we’re open. Didn’t even attempt to offer a discount if room wasn’t ready. My daughter and I had somewhere to be and wanted to freshen up before heading out and I told her that. We didn’t want to have to go to our event then go back to check in and then leave again. Just not acceptable. Not even an apology. She said it like “that’s just the way it is” and I should understand that. As it turns out I called back at 3 to see if the room was ready. I was asked to hold (but I could still hear them talking so wasn’t really on hold). After 6 minutes I went into the hotel and there were 2 working the desk. I really didn’t feel important
7.0 Good
Pros: Simple but good. Ample choice. Eggs but no meat which is fine
Cons: Poor lighting in the room
