Pros: Everything about this property was fantastic, I wished we could have stayed longer. Fantastic for kids and amazing scenery.
Pros: The place has a farm with animals and a wonderful playground for children. Loved it.
Pros: The location was amazing. Tucked away in the mountains of Austria far from the roads and city life. Stepped out into the enchanted magic of countrylife. Fresh air, lovely people and beautiful comfortable accomodation. Attention to detail wherever we looked. Amazing stay for children and adults likewise. Very well maintained gardens and equipments, nice food and gorgeous countryside.
Cons: We loved every bit of it!
Pros: Kényelmes ágyak, tiszta mosdó. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom.
Cons: it was not airconditioned although the on the reservation it said it is. The tourist tax was almost 3 times more than it was written, the dog fee was extra high. On the second day tehre was no warm water to take a shower. The smell of the cows was horrible.

Pros: We have ended up here by accident :) originaly we were heading to other location and we have found only during our way there that all the hotels are fully booked. So we decided to search for somethig else :) and found Ferienhof Rabenreith. We have appreciated location, it is overlooking the valey, view from the terace is marvelous, everything is green around, it is completely quite and silent place - our target was to escape from the heat and noise of the city to the mountains. Room was nice, clean, beds very comfortable. What we get as a plus, was service from the owners. It is a family run Ferienhof, Helena and Johannes were friendly and helpful, adviced a perfect restaurant with fresh fishes and a nice place to go hiking. Breakfast consists from large part of their and local home-made products (fresh youghurt, butter, jam, honey). You can book a dinner as well, it was delicious and for very reasonable price.
The Kirchenwirt Ahrer is very quietly located in the village centre of Großraming, the gateway to the Kalkalpen National Park in Upper Austria. The comfortable rooms, equipped with solid wood furniture and health mattresses, offer a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Some rooms come with a balcony. In the cosy restaurant with its open fireplace guests of Kirchenwirt Ahrer can enjoy local specialities. The surrounding area offers ideal opportunities for hiking, cycling and mountain biking. Sights such as the historic old town of Steyr and Kremsmünster Abbey can be reached in an hour’s drive.
Pros: Angela, the owner, was awesome. Taking care of any detail to make sure we enjoyed our days there
Pros: The hotel is wonderfully situated for exploring Kalkalpen National Park! It is located in a small but stunning town with a lovely church across from it that is home to a spectacular maternal colony of greater mouse-eared bats in the summer along with lesser horseshoe bats, a great sight to see. The owner was extremely nice and helped prepare us for exploring Kalkalpen! Wonderful restaurant downstairs, great authentic Austrian food with a myriad of choices for meat-lovers and vegetarians alike (the local mushrooms are the best I have ever had). We were able to arrive by train and explore Kalkalpen using a specialized taxi service (can be arranged at the hotel) but a car would make it easier to get to the hotel since it is up a very steep hill and to explore Kalkalpen at one's own pace, although the taxi system worked remarkably well.
Cons: There was nothing that I did not like about the hotel. The only problem was the steep hill up to the hotel which would not be advised for anyone without a car and over-burdened with heavy luggage or requiring mobility assistance. It is near the visitor centre for Kalkalpen NP but there is not a footpath (sidewalk) connecting the two that we could see and the road is not safe to walk on but the local bus (or train) system is available for those without a car like us.

Pros: Wonderful guesthouse in an idyllic, peaceful, beautiful setting. It was a perfect setting for our vacation with young children.
Cons: We didn't realise we had to bring our own soap and shampoo to guest houses in Austria.
Pros: Great views, true alpine flair, very quiet and full of animals as a feature for kids.
Cons: Poor internet connection.
Pros: Very calm & relax place. The kitchen is very well equipped.
Cons: There is no internet in the house for guests at all. We solved this problem and bought the mobile internet card in Steyr for 46 € and we were with internet even during hiking.
Pros: Very friendly host, beautiful surroundings, pure nature. We bought perfect homemade products from our landlord. Definitely recommend to go there and just relax :)
Pros: It is a great place for families with kids. It is so convenient to open the door and you are in the 'garden'. The restaurant is not noisy, and it closes early. They were really nice, even though at 8 you can only order pizza, they made scrambled eggs for my little son. It was really clean and soundproof. They were really friendly and laidback about our dog. Don't forget! It is in the mountains, so even if it is 26 during the day, it gets 14 in the early morning.
Cons: After 8 you can only order pizza. On Mondays the restaurant is is closed- but we were not informed, we only learned it through experience. :D I missed a microwave. If you need to heat a bottle for your baby, you should bring a travel bottle heater.
Pros: The nature was pretty and the surrounding was great!
