10.0 Excellent
Pros: Heaven on earth! Thank you we had the best time Best stuff ever, and best food we had in Columbia
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, location. It's just a great place to stay with beach right in front of the hotel. But the best was the adjacent Los Angeles Beach just 5 minutes from the hotel. Nearly empty and really beautiful. Don't miss it! The staff was great and helpful: what you would expect from such a hotel. Also the selection of food, the quality and the quantity were great.
Cons: The rooms are a bit too empty. They are spacious which is great, but having an additional chair, a small table and maybe a carpet would make them much more comfortable. This could be an addition for the future.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is impeccable. Absolutely serene. Probably one of the coolest, most relaxing places I've ever had the pleasure of staying. The staff were friendly and responded to all of our needs in a timely manner. Lastly, the food was INSANELY good. Highly recommend Chef Camillo's degustation menu. What an experience.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: restaurant staff is fantastic Food is good, the view/spot is fantastic The vibe of the place is excellent
Cons: Our room had water leak issue, it did not get resolved during our stay. If this was at hilton or marriott, i would have been compensated. paying for best room at the hotel, i should not have this issue. If you are a light sleeper, the villa room is not for you. Waves can be noisy but we were warned before
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything. it's a wonderful place. friendly staff, exceptional view...
Cons: wifi. it didn't reach our room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff here, especially Andreas, were fantastic. They were very attentive and nothing was too much hassle. Food was very tasty, there was free water top ups from the kitchen. The location and room was amazing.
Cons: Would have preferred a wall around the shower as I was traveling with a friend. Could see into the shower from some parts of the bed room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice pool, fantastic view. We spottet caimans in river. Delicious but pricey food.
Cons: The beach was not suitable for swimming during our stay due to strong current.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is amazing and the employees were super friendly. And congratulations to the chef!
Cons: Everything was perfect!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well beyond our expectations: beautiful and comfortable facilities, unbelievably good food, excellent coffee, very nice staff, all this located far from the city, by what’s probably the most beautiful beach in Colombia.

Cons: Nothing :)!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, including all the perfect facilities including swimming pool, our stay house and eating facility with amazing view and close at the entrance of Tayrona park And very impressive was the story of the two owners (couple) who gave everything up in Bogota, moved to this place and started not too long ago this unbelievable great hostel, where hostel is a kind of an understatement. Besides of this, they - and all the staff - were very very friendly and did everything to make our stay one of not to forget. And this worked out very well.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice food, nice cabin, great staff, amazing nature. Absolutely recommandable!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I travelled with a friend. We chose Pikua lodge as we sought a peaceful location in a natural setting. Everything in the previous reviews is accurate ! Every morning we were served breakfast at our lodge - fresh fruit and juices, oats with almond and raisins and fresh eggs and coffee. The mini bar fridge had plenty of beer and soft drinks replenished every day at a very, very low cost. Thank you to Javier, Nina, Edith and Raphael for your wonderful attention during our visit. We had a lot of heavy rain in the afternoon and as we sat reading our books, looking out from our lodge Edith arrived with fresh popcorn to go with our beers! The little touches were great. We ordered in food on 2 of our 4 nights which was delicious paella and fish, all beautifully prepared and so reasonably priced. We ate in the restaurant of neighboring Cayena lodge one night and it was terrific - restaurant prices. Jason the local driver took us to do tubing down the Don Diego river led by guide Jonathan. It was a highlight not to be missed. We were the only ones in such surroundings, a natural habitat of birds, howling monkeys and iguana. Our arrival at the ocean and virgin beach left us speechless. This is not the place to stay if you want hot and cold running showers and restaurant and hotel accommodation. It is THE place if you want a tropical paradise that you dream of !!!! Definitely we shall return, there is so much more to explore in the region.
Cons: Nothing in the lodge it was perfect! It is true if it’s stormy, the sea has high waves but it’s great for jumping through them!
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice clean bungalows with fam provided (and necessary!)
Cons: No common-use facilities
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The cabins are exactly as shown in the pictures. If like ourselves you are looking for a laid back, yet confortable experience this is the right place for you. The hosts were amazing in providing for any information and assistance. The place is magical and you should spent some time just to hang around and take everythjng in. Thank you!
Cons: Nothing comes to mind. Naturally, a little of a commute to get there but totally worth it

Pros: Simply AMAZING! The location, grounds, staff, amenities, and food were top notch! If you're looking for a relaxing/luxurious getaway- don't hesitate to stay here! We stayed in the Selma bungalow and enjoyed the privacy (including a private bathroom).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the food, it was always fresh. We loved the privacy and stillness of the beach and the sense of being part of nature in the middle of the jungle, without losing comfort Recommended for people who want and deserves real rest and appreciate silence
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Completely secluded with large private beach area, quiet and relaxing, excellent food, friendly staff, lovely 4 dogs!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is one-in-a-lifetime unique. The food is incredible. If you like dogs, Mia and Milu will steal your heart. The yoga class on the beach with the waves crashing against the shore. The outdoor shower in the bungalows is unreal.
Cons: Whilst the yoga class was amazing, there was a promo video being shot in all of our classes - the guests should have had the option whether to be filmed or not. (Obviously this probably isn’t a regular occurrence) The overall vibe could have been friendlier.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything : )
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice place to relax with amazing beach sunsets. The glamping pod was surprisingly comfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: That there was very little internet, just enough to communicate, but not to spend a lot of time in social media. The staff was super friendly and always looking on ways to help. The food was great, the highlight of the stay!
Cons: For me it was not clearly stated that you cannot swim in the location as the sea there is rougher than in other areas. We would have liked to choose between the daily menu options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wellbeing in the the Hotel, the place is magical. Great energy, beautiful landscape, generous space and privacy. La pool is gorgeous and the employees are all very kind.

Cons: Everything perfect

Pros: the nature surrounding is very nice and pure (lots of wild animals). Also, what we really like about is the hotel is not so commercial as others in the neighborhood. The food they offer there is very tasty as well as healthy! Service is also quite personal, and they try their best to satisfy all we need.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The relaxed atmosphere, the view, the food....most favourite place ever

Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and coffee/tea in a common area. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great SPace lovely personnel. Only thing missing is the air condition in the room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owners and staff. Lovely green outdoor area, nice little pool with an ocean view. We had also a balcony which had an outdoor sitting area. We were allowed to leave our bags when we went for one night to Tayrona.
Cons: The room was quite hot and dark, but there were fans. Water in the shower was quite coldish. You could hear the trucks passing down the road. It's a bit of a climb to get up to the reception and the rooms, not very pleasant if you have heavy bags/suitcases.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful spot to calm down after an intense day of hiking at Tayrona Park. Beautiful facilities and really nice breakfast! Bus drive away from the park. The view from the pool is amazing.
Cons: Can be a bit hard to find at first when it's dark outside. Instructions could be more clear.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good vegetarian options for breakfast lunch and dinner. There were meat and fish options too which we did not try. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Door and windows are not sealed properly to prevent bugs/ mosquitoes from entering the room. No warm water in the shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Literally the best place I've ever been to. Paradise-like environment, good food, swimming pool at the site and picturesque beach just 5 minutes from the accommodation.
Cons: The only con was an unexpected service tax of 8% added to the total price of the accommodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is beautiful and there is a lovely little walk down to the beach. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend
Cons: None
Tayrona Paradise - Los Naranjos - Bedroom
8
9.1 Excellent (195 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Santa Marta, Tayrona Paradise is within a 15-minute drive of Tayrona National Natural Park and Cristal Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tayrona Paradise is a great way to feel like you’re in the jungle but with the right amenities to make you feel comfortable! The food was delicious and it was only a 10 minute bus ride to the park. The property even had some trails to explore and it’s just a great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere! Everyone there was so kind and accommodating and helpful! We really had a wonderful stay, better than expected!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was truly amazing! Always there for questions (it helps to know some Spanish). The owner even organized a ride to our next hotel and saved us a lot of cost and effort ordering a cab from Santa Marta. Close to Tayrona Park entry (5 min bus ride). Nice gardens. Moskito nets not only over the bed but also at the windows.
Cons: Mosquito net was a bit dirty, but the owner promised to look after it when we told him at checkout. You have to be clear about the fact that you’re at the edge of a tropical forest. This goes along with the occasional cockroach and other insects around and sometimes in the room as well. But as told before there is a net around the bed and at the windows which limits insects in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, eco friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing accommodation, we slept in one of the “cheaper” rooms but actually liked it most. They were open so you could hear the rain and the animals around, it was made out of beautiful wood. Everything was nice and tidy. Dinner was good and breakfast as well, nothing special. The owner is super nice and helps you with everything he can. We left our luggage there for a two days trip to tayrona which was super easy going.
Cons: When we booked, we got a message from the location which described the way to the hotel. It sounded super complicated - which it actually isn’t. It’s very very easy to find the way and the bus driver from the route from Santa Marta also knows where they need to drop you off. From the street it takes maybe 5 minutes to the hotel. Be aware that booking.com says the property handles all payments but it actually doesn’t. You need to pay at the location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully designed cabins, friendly staff, comfy bed
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Felt like home. Truly enjoyed soaking in the river in the back of the hotel.
Cons: No comment

10.0 Excellent
Pros: i thought everything was wonderful
Cons: absolutely everything
5.8 Okay
Pros: The room was great, bed was comfortabel and the shower is great!
Cons: Junior suite isnt the same as shown on the pictures although its still a beautiful room. The whole place needs maintenance. Only the guy at the reception speaks english. They are trying their best but its not yet resort worthy.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location is ok-ish near the park entry, rooms are spacious. Stuff is ok
Cons: The hotel is a typical example for over investment in infrastructure that subsequently cannot be maintained. Facilities are worn out, there is mold both in the pool and rooms, the hotel has an awkward smell and food is questionable at best. We were shocked about the difference between great reviews and very bad and overprices experience. Wouldnt recommend at all, we changed after one day to a place nearer to beach and national park which was mich better
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was amazing!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful
Cons: Facilities need maintenance
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The beach was great and the grounds were fantastick and interesting walk. The people on the property and surrounding area were very friendly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The meals were delicious, the rooms were comfortable, and beach access was a short 10 minute walk away. Massages and late check out? Sign me up.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfasts, varieties of birds on property, canopy bed, free shuttle to Tayrona Nacional Parque, the beach on the property, the pool
Cons: the roof leaked in our first room so they had to move us to another, but the room was better :)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and very clean rooms, with amazing views. Food was really great.
Cons: Wi-fi connection could improve. Also the bar at the pool should work til a bit later.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Food was extremely expensive and not good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The ambience in the tropical forest is fantastic. I liked the eco style of the whole complex. If you like the natural forest world and observing the the tropical birds this is a great place to come.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is an unforgettable experience. Stay in amazing bungalows in what feels like the middle of the jungle. The tranquility at night is a rare experience in Colombia. Waking up to the birdsong in the morning is just perfect.
Cons: The trek to our cabin was a solid 5-10 minute walk from the property entrance (and you feel every one of those minutes in the humidity of the area). The service in the restaurant was very slow and some of the restaurant service staff were a bit rude. The menu choice was limited. I had the impression that the hotel takes advantage of the captive market (once you're on-site you're unlikely to eat elsewhere due to the distance).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quite, packed with green every where you look at, rooms are ver comfortable, hot water is an amazing treat. Food is fairly ok
Cons: Rooms are very far away from restaurant. They could have coffee makers in each room
Entre Bosques Tayrona - Los Naranjos - Bedroom

Free private parking is available on site. The property is a 30-minute walk away from the beach. Taganga is 34 km from Entre Bosques Tayrona. The nearest airport is Simón Bolívar International Airport, 43 km from the property.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is amazing even though a bit far from the beach but it's not a problem if you don't mind walking and are not looking for something by the beach. It is very quiet and peaceful. The pool is awesome. The rooms are very clean and can almost be considered as luxury given the circumstances: lost in the middle of the jungle.
Cons: The food was bit overpriced but it's pretty much everywhere like that in the Caribbean coast of Colombia.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Such a cool place to stay. Really nice staff and owner, super friendly and helpful. The pool is awesome and the location of the houses in the middle of nowhere is just perfect. The beach is still easily accessible after a short walk
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simply Fantastic ! I cannot say enough good things about this lovely haven nestled in the hills. If you like off the beaten track (a good 20 minute hike uphill, alternatively jump on a 'moto', it will cost 8k but remember that 8k goes to support a family) this is the place to come to. A prefect place to come to before or after walking Ciudad perdida. With jungle all around this place is perfect if you just want to be in nature. There are a number of walks all around (the house will organise a guide) This accomadation is spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, good food, a swimming pool, good hammocks & overall very well run by the lovliest mother & daughter team mamma Anna & Monica who speaks very good english. This accomadation is not 5 star luxury, it is for sure 5 star basic Colombian accomadation in the very heart of nature. I loved it ! PS find the biggest bamboo tree you have ever seen.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed this place! It is quiet and was a perfect place to relax after La Ciudad Perdida hike. I would have happily stayed for some more days. You can mind your own business and chill out by the lovely pool. Total relaxation. I slept so well.
Cons: The hotel is at the end of a road so good to consult the hotel on how to get there. Someone took me and my small luggage on a motorbike taxi from the crossroad as the normal taxi wouldn't drive all the way. However, the road is suitable for bigger cars and that's why getting out to the airport was no issue at all. At the same time, this remoteness was a plus! There was no traffic whatsoever, just super chill and quiet all in all. The restaurant is pretty basic but provided enough nutrition. The staff speaks only Spanish but they use google translate on their phones if things get complicated. The wifi is a bit unreliable and there is no signal otherwise (or at least not on my phone).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is ideal for a quiet, relaxing time. It is a gorgeous spot with a small, clean pool which we basically had to ourselves during our stay. The food is made fresh to order from a quite small selection of local foods. It is a 30-40 minute walk to beautiful playa de los cocos, lovely views and big waves (so not really a beach for a swim!) I wished we had stayed longer!
Cons: The hotel is about 30-40 mins walk up a dirt track or you can take a motorbike taxi. The hotel help arrange these once you're there but we didn't see any down at the main road when we arrived! The closest beach is not good for swimming but lovely for a walk and has a couple of bars / food places.
7.5 Good
Pros: Peaceful and quiet nice place to stay and they have a restaurant nothing fancy but good homemade food and you can use a credit card
Cons: It’s 1.5km from the highway on a 4x4 road about 1/2hour walk up and down hills
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, the staff and food were amazing! Great value for money!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed taking motos or hiking into the beautiful kept grounds. There is a nice kitchen we wished we had brought more of our own food. The owner is the sweetest. Most of the staff was absolutely lovely.
Cons: The restaurant is the only food close by and it's a bit pricey. It could use some more variety.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The refreshing pool, the staff is super nice, the hammocks... just perfect to relax. Wifi in the pool area is working quite good (not in the rooms) A quiet house 10min by motobike from the main road (ask the bus driver to drop you at Los Cocos and there ask someone to take you with their motobike 7000 COP). They offer food but there is also a kitchen you can use to cook your own food

6.3 Good
Pros: The location is fantastic. You literally sleep by the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Facilities are probably 20-30 older than they should and are in need of urgent refurbishment. The owner should take care of this. Totally not value for money compared to nearby properties. So don’t book here unless Finca Barlovento (Cabana y Maloka) or the Senda Casa Tayrona Los Naranjos are already fully booked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, very peaceful.Great food and wonderful staff.A perfect place to relax.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Rude behavior, obviously reception more interested in cellphone and laptop (watching film)than in their clients Enormous contrast with Maloka where staff was outstanding
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Superb view, 2 beautiful pools with view, very comfortable seating areas (including a padded canoe!), charming and helpful staff, lovely grounds, private beach, access to PNN tayrona by a very short walk, good value drinks, huge portions, good seafood, efficient air conditioning, stunning view from room, lovely balcony, plentiful wildlife in the surrounding area, good lunch recommendation.
Cons: Hard bed, cold shower, communal eating, undercooked pancakes, gate to beach often locked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and atmosphere of the hotel was absolutely magical. The service is of great quality as much as the food is. But what really made the trip special for us was the staff, Paola was absolutely nice, efficient and sweet. Definitely recommend!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is a gem! The location is unique, you can sit and have a delicious homecooked breakfast or dinner with the sea breeze in the open patio and go to sleep in your spacious room with the sound of the breaking waves in your ears. Sounds unreal? It's not! It's all true, and even better than the guidebooks say. Lovely Paola will help you with anything you might need and don't forget to ask for John to take you on a trip to one of the highlights around the park.
Cons: Everything was fine!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was breathtaking. Pool was nice and with lots of places to relaxt. Food was ok. Special thanks to Paula who made sure we had everyting we needed. Verry kind!! Ask paula for all in Taxi (Ramon) to Tayrona. 60.000 Pesos. Nicest guy ever.

Pros: This property is close to the Calabazo entrance and great if you want to visit Playa Brava. Rooms were spacious with a fan. Nice staff and great we could leave our extra baggage behind while hiking through Tayrona NP.
Cons: Not a good place if you’re scared of dogs.

Cons: There was poor WiFi conection

Pros: Thank you Orna!! So kind, fun to talk to and thoughtful, everything. Great locals tips and amazing, I mean amazing, home cooked meals! Easy check-in and great room en suite! Farm dogs and cats are sweet and friendly too!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an fantastic time here, a real home from home experience. Orna and her husband were amazing hosts. Our room was very comfortable and the optional breakfast, lunch and dinners were some of, if not the best food we have eaten in Colombia. Huge portions, very tasty and different every day. There are a few kittens, puppies, chickens and lots of tortoises to keep you entertained. The pool was very welcome to cool down and sit by too. Located about 25 min walk to the Calabazo entrance of Tayrona National Park and the shops. Getting there by bus was easy, it will stop right outside if you tell them Calabazo, Finca La Gordita. They also looked after our rucksacks whilst we visited Tayrona for few days. After an exhausting hike out of Tayrona, we ended up staying a few more days to recover and rest. Perfect.
Cons: The pool was a great addition and lovely to cool down in but could have been a little cleaner however this is a working finca so is to be expected. It wasn't a problem and certainly didn't stop us from swimming every day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you're planning a trip to Tayrona you have to stay here. Such an amazing host - made us lunch and even let us shower after our stay (we left our luggage with her while in Tayrona). So nice to have a delicious home cooked meal too. She spoke English which was cool. Big pool outside and good AC. Don't expect WiFi because is none anywhere so not really a negative point. Can grab a bus to both park entrances from right outside. Highly recommend
Cons: Nada ;)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The host is so super friendly we loved her! The food she made was unbelievable! Really delicious! The place is just nice, a big pool, super cute dogs and animals and really great! We loved it
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and caring hosts. Good homemade food right from the finca.
7.1 Good
Pros: Easy access
Cons: When I came back the internet stopped working. They closed up the doors and went inside. I couldn't call them and I know they didn't want to be disturbed so I just left.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay here at Fin a la Gordita and we are sad to leave! The setting is great with lovely views of the jungle, nice pool and above all amazing hosts, Orna and Astulio looked after us and cooked us some amazing meals, after a long day travelling and one walking it was just what we needed! She also helped us getting a ticket for the National Park as we didn’t book in advance which saved us wasting day. Our stay here was just what we needed and we will miss it a lot, especially the dogs! Thank you!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: -The setting is lovely, on a hillside in the jungle. -The receptionist, Brandon, is friendly and helpful -Great food at the restaurant.
Cons: Only one real issue with the place: throughout the day and evening they had the TV on really quite loud in the restaurant area. Because that area is open, the sound wafted throughout the common areas, even reaching some of the rooms, which was really annoying. Part of the appeal of this place was the sense of being surrounded by nature, birdsong etc - and when you've got dubbed action movies blaring out over the TV, it really undermines that.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location excellent, staff really nice and breakfast typical columbian. Perfect for a stay in the park
Cons: Fan in room could do with an. Update
6.3 Good
Pros: The location in the park was very beautiful.
Cons: The room is very basic, a bit too basic for the price we had to pay. Also the facilities were limited. Also the pick up point for the shuttle vans in unhandy as they were quite a lot of the times full and we had to walk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great! It is a real treat to stay in the park and there is a shuttle that brings you to and from the main hikes. The facilities are beautiful and very clean. Staff are all extremely nice and helpful with anything you need
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect
6.3 Good
Pros: The location inside the park is good. Walking to beaches is long, but possible, even before the park officially opens. This was the main reason for me to stay there. The surroundings of the hotel are also beautiful.
Cons: I hope this is taken as constructive critique by hotel: - The breakfast was very minimal and basic -> provide some jam and some more toast in addition to the selected breakfast, this would already improve things. - The food in general was sometimes good, sometimes bad -> since not all was bad I think there's room for improvement by just trying to keep the performance in the kitchen consistent - The service was not very fast -> drinks should be served faster, this makes waiting for the meals much more manageable - Some of the Staff (not all) were not very helpfull. I'd say they do the minimum that's needed, but I was used to much better from all the other hotels we stayed at in Colombia - Finally, the rooms have thin walls. I sometimes felt like in a dorm -> I guess the only thing that helps here, if the hotel is not fully booked, try to put the guests in rooms that are not directly next to each other. Would have helped on our first evening
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice place and staff surrounded by beautiful nature.
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is near from the entrance so it's easy to get there walking. They maintain a nice garden and the overall is a really beautiful place, with great views from the bedrooms and very quiet.
Cons: We had a not so great experience in this hotel because when we made the checkin we weren't correctly informed. They had a light cut because of a storm (which you can expect in a natural park, of course) and they didn't tell us that the generator was right under our room, it sounded like a huge motor, so it was not until the evening, when they offered us to change room (at about 10pm, which is pretty late in Tayrona). So they got a new room far from the generator (still could be heard though), it was bigger and nicer room, and we were supposed to be more confortable but the truth is that the bed was really unconfortable. If we had paid for that room I would be very pissed. also the hotel and bar was kind of lonely, there was nobody around to ask...the waiters were nice but we were already disappointed. If I went back now I would have stayed at the campings at the beach.

Pros: Great place to rest. Really close to Tayrona main entrance. Close to beautiful beaches.
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was perfect. Traditional colombian food
Cons: The room was very small for 2 people, maybe for 1 person is ok
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Posada is the perfect location to visit Parque de Tayrona, it's just a short walk form El Zaino entrance. It's a natural paradise where you can rest and relax after the long walks into the park. Lucila was the most lovely host, she cooks great breakfasts and dinner, we immediately felt like at home.
5.8 Okay
Pros: +entrance if Tayrona is close by (10min Walk) and Shops as well as restaurants are in walking distance +it’s clean and towels are changed every day +breakfast was fresh +they order dinner at the nearby restaurant if you want (but going there takes also only 5 minutes)
Cons: +in the floor of the bungalow a nail was sticking out of the floor which we didn’t see and I injured myself + At one evening very loud music in neighborhood for hours (so loud our bungalow vibrated) in the night +Our bungalow had only one hammock and because we where the only ones there in the afternoon we sat down in two other ones at another bungalow. As soon as she saw us the owner told us (actually screamed and commanded us) very unpleasant to make way because they belonged to other guests. Of course we would not have sat there if someone else was in the pousada. We made way immediately. From them on the owners were very reserved and didn’t talk to us anymore. I regret going there because we met other people from cheaper pousadas who had much nicer and welcoming hosts and we where glad when time was there to leave as we felt really uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was wonderful and the owner was very nice and helpful. She offers now WiFi and hot water which I did not need. It’s so hot and humid that a cold shower is the best. Very close to the entrance of Tayrona Park and the food was yummy. Liked the parrots and the turtles that live open around the posadas, the rooms were comfy. Definitely recommend this place for anyone that wants to go away from city, and rest.
Cons: I liked everything.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place to stay if you want to visit Tayrona National park. It's in walking distance from the entrance. It's a simple but very nice place, full of animals (birds, rabbits, etc) which make the stay very relaxing. The owners are fantastic. They can prepare not only breakfast for you, but also dinner, which is important cause there are no proper restaurants in the area. And most importantly the food is very tasty!
Cons: lack of hot water
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location only 7 to 10 minutes walk to the entrance of Parque Tayrona!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent! Very welcoming owner and crew. Warm environment surrounded by vegetation and animals. The owner Ms. Lucila is very nice, always ready to help you and give you good advice.
Cons: Nothing, she has now WiFi and hot water.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about this place - but especially the warm welcome and great support from Lucila, who runs the place. She‘ll just set you up with any information or services you might need. The pets roaming the grounds add some extra charm to this very lush place - and my cabaña was comfortable and clean. The proximity to the National Park means you get to beat the crowds in the morning!
Cons: I should have spent more time at the Posada / in the hammock :)

5.4 Okay
Pros: It is a beatiful place, directly on the beach, hotels nearby provide lacking facilities. Very peaceful.
Cons: Food was very basic. Just one plate of very basic standard food, very little fish, would be nice for a beach front hotel. No coffee after meals. Breakfast every day the same. A bit of fruit and some variation would have made quite the difference. Very little available from reception regarding food and drink, staff nowhere to be seen after 6 pm. Rooms not decorated at all, no (bedside) table or any other place to put your things. (pictures are not true to reality at all). Cabins don't face the sea directly, again pictures are a bit deceiving. Bathrooms OK but maintenance decided to take the shower heads off because sometimes they would get blocked up... (??), shower was therefore a very unpleasant cold waterjet. There is no communal area in the shade, so it's either staying in your cabin or outside in the scorching sun. Staff not very friendly, felt like they were doing the absolute bare minimum, not a chance of service with a smile.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful place with friendly staff! The food was super! The lodges were clean and equiped for the basic needs.
Cons: The only thing what could get improved is to sell bigger whaterbottles or even water out of a 20 litre bottle to fill your own bottle. They only sold 6 deciliter bottles, what, in my opinion, is not ecological at all.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great place with less than ten bungalows in a great beach ambiente with lots of palms. The full board was really good and also offering vegetarian options. Really nice staff which was very caring when my girlfriend turned sick to offer her the best possible food - thank you again!
Cons: Nothing to say.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Relaxing, comfortable clean rooms right on beach Good food!
Cons: Only sell small bottles of water. Should offer more environmentally friendly option
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location on the beach front! Staff were very kind and friendly.
Cons: The rooms were basic and only had one plug.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cabins are well made and ventilated, shower was good and towels are provided. 3 well made meals a day with juices and hot drinks, the reception keeps beers water and soda, and can order you a taxi instead of a motorcycle taxi Right on the beach which is cleaned every morning with chairs and hammocks all around and the Daniel who will take care of everything you need
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Javi was super helpful and the vegetarian food they prepared specially for me was super tasty. The party at the hostel next door was great as well. Highly recommended! :)
7.1 Good
Pros: It is an OK hotel. dont expect much. there is no facility, however you can profits consecutive hostels breakfast and dinner were also OK room was clean
Cons: there was no wifi!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location to the beach was great, the room was adequate.
Cons: When we booked we asked about vegetarian options and they said that they would be able to provide vegetarian food, however, when we got there the options were extremely limited and one night all they could offer us was fish or chicken so we had to decline and eat elsewhere.

Pros: The setting is like not other. Very secluded and private. The beach was beautiful and pretty much only for us. We’ve made some amazing memories and would be back in a heart beat. Muchas gracias por todo! Una estadía inolvidable
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was fenomenal, a paradise on earth.
Cons: You should’ve able to pay with card with out the extra 5% charge, also they never change the towels when the y cleaned the room, it basic for any hotel. Otherwise the location and food was incredible, best place to connect with nature. Keep in mind that there is not internet at all.
7.9 Good
Pros: Quite, easygoing place. A private beach only for guests of this accomodation. Around the corner of the entrance of the park. We slept in a tent 10 meters away from the beach with ofcourse awesome view.
Cons: The tent was a bit small. Its like camping, if you are tall you cant stand straight. Not too bad but its cozy. Shared bathrooms were oke, you dont need hot water. The breakfast was sometimes good, sometimes too little.
7.5 Good
Pros: Best place to just chill next to the beach, with hamacs and restaurant/bar
Cons: Room really hot. No wifi.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Wild experience. Very close to nature. The review can change based on expectations. If you are looking for comfort this is not the right place for you.
Cons: I woke up with a cockroach on my neck. I know it’s not the hotel’s fault as it’s in the middle of the jungle, however this is what happened unfortunately.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is very nice! The view from the Mirador is amazing especially early morning where you can see the sunrise and the snowy peaks off la Sierra Nevada
Cons: They use a lot of plastic like fork and glass!
