Very nice and helpfull owner, a good location to visite Umbria
This an extremely comfortable hotel where the suites consist of bedroom, bathroom and living room. Our room had a balcony overlooking Bevagna. It has full modern facilities, lovely pool and spa. Michael, the owner, is charming and extremely helpful and always on hand. Highly recommended!
After getting lost a few times and arriving late in the afternoon a little stressed, only to find I had booked the wrong days, the lovely owner, Michael, showed us to a huge apartment with wonderful views of the countryside. Then he came to the door in the morning smiling with a complimentary basket of hot croissants. An afternoon in the brand new spa and sauna was so relaxing. Wonderful!
What a pleasant surprise. First class accommodation, great location, and warm welcoming host.
friendly approach and welcome, nice location, advised restauranttypical tIalian family restaurant.
The rpg is managed by a family that is very hospitable and friendly. Our room (for three) was good value (bedroom plus living room with fold out sofa bed) and had character (high ceilings, wood beams, four poster bed, etc.). The residence is just a ten minute walk from the main square of Bevagna, a charming town in Central Umbria.
Staff very friendly, great place to relax. Bevagna 5 minutes walk with great restaurants and food. Good location to explore the area.
The service and rooms were absolutely great. The price is too high for having no breakfast, swimmingpool and own restaurant
Michael, our host, was the most friendly, amazing innkeeper we have ever met. He truly loves the area and it shows in the pride he takes in his property and in serving his guests. The rooms were large, and lovely and immaculately clean. Michael and his B & B will always be one of the most special memories we have of our trip to Italy. He treated me like a brother. We regret that we couldn't stay longer than three days. We will definitely be back!
Simple and clean hotel at convenient location for touring the countryside. Nothing fancy, but very inexpensive and a good value. If you want to save money but don't want to sacrifice cleanliness, its good to keep in mind. I had no problems with using the WIFI in my room and at breakfast. They also provided a decent simple breakfast. There was road noise and an alarm outside that woke me early in the morning. There was also a loud group that made lots of noise until late at night. The hotel was fine in itself, but because of all the noise I had a terrible night's sleep. I would consider it comparable to a nice highway roadside hotel in the US with a good breakfast.
The location was stunning and so peaceful. We had a beautiful villa, not a single room, in amongst the vinyard with views of the hills and Assisi. It was wonderfully bucolic yet so convenient for touring Umbria. The resort manager was excellent - friendly, professional and generous. However, some of his stylish and rather gorgeous reception staff (initially at least) appeared aloof/unfriendly/unhelpful. Check in was a terse, "cold" and un-Italian affair. Our encounters "warmed" somewhat over the 8 days we were there but we never felt like "valued customers". This was not the case in the Restaurant or elsewhere around the resort - where staff blended professionalism with warmth and hospitality - where we flet welcome.
Great place for rest and enjoying the nature, ideal starting point for exploring not only Assisi but other Umbrian towns (Perugia, Terni, Gubbio, Lago Trasimeno… could be reached in half an hour or at most in an hour by car). It’s really beautiful resort, with nice hotel and stylish cottages. Nice swimming pool, but without stairs to go in/out – very inconvenient. The hotel is not easy to find. There were no signs directing you to the hotel if you coming from St. Maria degli Angeli.
It locates in the country side (very quiet place), and also not too far to the town(Santa Maria degli Angeli) and high way. Frendly stuff. Room and bath room are very clean and confortable. Nothing
the hotel is brand new resort facility with nice, spacious room and breakfast is outstanding with fresh squeezed orange juice and exquisite espresso machine. even though it was high season, it was good deal for the money
very good breakfast and use of internet, open space in main area to meet business appointments. the restaurant was closed all nights I was there, and after asking how close the nearest restaurant was I was told only 2kl towards town 6kl later we found a restaurant. the shower leaked water under the tiles making bathroom floor wet
The place of the hotel is quite pleasant notwithstanding some details of an industrial landscape around. The design is rather stylish, a nice combination of rustic and modern styles. Overall nice impression and a good rest. The kitchen in the restaurant is simple but fine. stayed only one day visiting Assisi. To my opinion the territory is rather big and it would be nice to animate it somehow, otherwise the place looks deserted. The personnel behaves a little bit arrogant and seems to be enjoying the place of their job, not catering to guests. And their uniform looks three stars and business hotel which does not correspond to the implied atmosphere of the place... Generally the hotel is just new and it might take time to orchestrate the work of everything. Would be nice to provide a shuttle bus service once a day (go and back ) at least to St. Maria Novella from where it is easier to get a connection to Assisi case there are some travellers who wish to go around and they are without a car.
Lovely rooms; staff was indifferent; breakfast good No newspaper in English; staff was not very helpful;
The reception staff very helpful, clean, beautiful setting, views of assisi etc They said restaurant was fully booked so we had to dine in the breakfast room, the hotel was described as a resort hotel and yet there hardly seemed to be anyone in the hotel at all, we only saw about 8 other people the whole time, and the things offered in brochure all seemed to be shut.
Excellent coutnry location outside of the town of Assisi but with a beautiful view of Assisi. Well furnished new resort hotel with good facilities.
large swimming pool and very quiet at most places, very kind reception Not yeady ready. Working people. No drinks available near the swimming pool (1.2 km) and to drink something was not very exciting in the hotel.
Very little The 1st room was noisey and had defective electrics. 2 attempts were made to overcharge a dinner. The staff was overbearing. The bread and rolls on the last day was stale. In short, not worth the money!
Beautiful hotel, all staff very helpful. Excellent restaurant with superb wine and food. Lovely pool and gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Old style hotel which has an air of graciousness that is enhanced by the courteous staff and old style furnishing. Charming old town and wonderful wines - definitely a great introduction to Umbria Nothing to report
Nice hotel, very nice surrounding garden, close to Montefalco city center, very good restaurant, very nice and helpfull staff
The building being a reall villa turned into a small hotel, the family atmosphere and its mountain-high location, off the beaten track. The only disappointing feature in the room was the poor plumbing as far as the shower head is concerend. The water does not run smoothly and it seems that a small cleaning job of the shwer head could easily fix the problem. Loved everything else about the place.
Everything but especially the kindness of the three different desk clerks. They were very helpful and nice.Mauro-the waiter was also very kind.Along with the beauty of the place--it made for a very good stay! No--we were more than satisfied.
Relaxed - good food on the nights that it was offered. Good service and friendly helpful staff. Gave very good recommendation when not able to offer an evening meal. The pink wardrobe!
We were upgraded to a superb room, furnished with antiques, with windows giving wonderful views of the countryside and the gardens. The staff were excellent and this hotel was a very comfortable base for exploring Umbria. Nothing at all, except that we had to go home!
We liked the ambiance of the hotel, the rooms and furnishings. We also liked the very helpful and welcoming staff. Some of the facilities need upgrading, for example, the shower and TV in our room were not 4 star hotel standard. Also there were flower arrangements on the breakfast tables which were clearly wilting and dead.
Clean hotel with helpful staff and good food in restaurant. Perugia is perfect central spot to explorer umbria. This hotel is right next to the main road interchanges so provides quick access to getting out and about if your planning to drive/explore the area. The noise from nearby road. Restaurant can be shut (but dont let it put you off - there's good (underground) pizzeria within 5 mins walk).
A nice family feel to the place and I felt safe even although I was travelling and staying alone
Friendly service with a willingness to please. We had an enjoyable and unforgettable dinner experience in the hotel. Close to the motorway without noise problems. We stayed in the off-season and got excellent value for money!
New, clean rooms. Nicely ecquipped. Splendid pool.
Beautiful surroundings-excellent accomodation-pleasant and helpful staff- thoroughly enjoyed our short stay
A luxurious hotel in beautiful surroundings.
Perfect location for exploring Umbria, beautiful villa, great pool and gardens full of roses, lavender and rosemary.Very hepful anf friendly staff and family owners with excellent service. Good choice of local dishes to eat for breakfast and dinner.. Highly recommended
Everything was amazing. It was the most comfortable hotel in our three week stay around Italy. Food from hotel was exquisite with wonderful fresh local produce. It was a great place to dine for a special occasion or even just a relaxed evening meal. Staff were so helpful. We had an amazing view of the Umbrian countryside from our balcony.
Our stay at the Villa was top-notch in all respects: The staff was professonal, gracious and helpful; the room and grounds were relaxing and beautiful; the meals (both the food and the settings) were wonderful. We felt the Villa offered a very good value for the money. In fact, while the main intent of our vacation was to visit Tuscany, we came back to Umbria (and the Villa) on our return to Rome because of our positive experience. There was not one thing we did not like nor can we offer any suggestions for improvement.
The staff was great! I really appreciate having the internet access. I would say the room cleaners were average - they tended to leave old glasses and dishes there. I would have loved to have a gym at the hotel and would love to have inroom internet service.
Relaxing by the pool, lovely sunset from our balcony, beautiful decoration in bedrooms and public areas, huge bathrooms with high-pressure showers and lovely bath, quiet surroundings, driving through the countryside to the towns of Montefalco, Spoleto and Todi. Lovely staff and friendly pet dog!
Beautiful, newer building built in classic style. Nice grounds. Nice location in the country but close to Montefalco and other small towns. We upgraded our classic room for a room that was a bit fancier, but more importantly, had a perfect view of the Umbrian countryside. Nice folks and beautiful place. Andrea, their concierge, is Four Seasons caliber. He is attentive, happy to help, and knows everything about the local area.
Beautiful setting, good location, peaceful, excellent helpful staff, beautiful grounds and pool, excellent dining and comfortable spacious rooms and good value.
Quiet and peaceful, staff friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast did not try restaurant as close proximity to Monte Falco enabled us to choose restaurants etc. there. Stained toilet in bathroom
This hotel is so charming with modern conveniences. It is located in a gorgeous old Italian farm house surrounded by olive groves and beautiful views. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind and welcoming. We loved it!!
very spacious, clean friendly
friendly staff, good breakfast, great wine
We loved the service and family like atmosphere. The position was beautiful with excellent views of the countryside overlooking Umbria. We would have loved to have stayed longer. The staff were exceptionally helpful! no
Warm welcome, lovely setting, very flexible staff. Nothing - would happily return
Excellent discreet and friendly service, very welcoming and helpful. Perfect geographic position ofr Umbrian touring and a lovely bi swimming pool.
Peace and quiet of location within olive grove. Beautiful views. Lovely breakfasts. Friendly hosts. Lack of privacy on our terrace area. Perhaps could be solved by use of plants or fences. Lack of local information in our room. Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in our room.
Swimming pool. Beautiful location in Umbria. 10 minute walk to Montefalco
We enjoyed the personal family touch and wonderful service and the food was fantastic. The breakfast and dinner setting amongst the pine trees looking onto the olive orchard and vineyards was amazing. We discovered that the family y is now into it's 25th generation running the property which was very impressive.
