Situated by the ocean, Inn on the Beach is a great choice for a stay in St. Pete Beach. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast available on weekends. There's a terrace, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Cons: Slight musty smell in the upstairs hallway and room
Pros: It's a neat hotel! Very quaint and inviting. It had a nice pool and outside bar area. I could have stayed out there all night. :)
Cons: I wasn't a fan of their not being room service. It's not a deal breaker by any means but I would have preferred not to have to go down stairs and place an order, wait for it and then bring it upstairs. Otherwise, no other complaints.
Pros: I loved this hotel. It has the vibe of a bed and breakfast. The building is historic but has been beautifully decorated and remodeled. The staff was very nice and helpful. We took their shuttle to our venue and when we ready to be picked up they were there in minutes to give us a ride back. The room and bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small, but goes in line with the historic feel of the place. I would definitely stay hear again.
Pros: The hotel is centrally located and close to many restaurants, parks, and museums.
Pros: rooms were fine, though bathtub was not totally clean!
Cons: no phone in room, not a big deal if your have a cell phone i guess. bar area was crazy noisy at night and at breakfast.
Pros: In addition to a nice room, it had a really good restaurant, and the staff were very accommodating!
Pros: Great little hotel! Staff was all extremely polite and courteous
Pros: Cool, funky decor; large outdoor patio, special events, complimentary massage
Cons: We should have had a phone in our room to have food delivered to our room, should have had a free continental breakfast option versus the pay for all you can eat on weekends, and room toilet had some issues often.
Pros: A diverse mix of guests, made this feel like a destination. I will being staying here often.
Cons: Beds could use an upgrade, but it isn't a deal breaker.
Pros: Great location, lovely taproom downstairs with good food, great staff.
Cons: Very, very spotty internet. Don't know if that was an issue just for our stay or a consistent problem. We weren't working so it wasn't much of an issue for us, but for a business traveler it could be an issue.
Pros: Loved staff and decor. Attached restaurant and coffee shop had excellent food and drinks for reasonable prices. Staff there also very nice. Live music, too.
Cons: Shower was a little weak/hard to get to right temp. But it was cute/antique looking.
Located in Downtown St. Petersburg, this spa hotel is within a 15-minute walk of The Coliseum and Museum of Fine Arts. Salvador Dali Museum and Sunken Gardens are also within 1 mi (2 km).
Pros: Kind and friendly staff. The place felt like home. Cute breakfast was perfect. Comfortable bed and unique furniture. Can't wait to be back
At The Inn on Third, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Salvador Dali Museum and Museum of Fine Arts. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7 AM and 10 AM. Also, Sunken Gardens and The Pier are within a short drive.
Pros: Staff was very welcoming and this had the feeling of a luxury business hotel. We needed a King with a pull out couch, and after a problem with the first room we were upgraded to a Jr. Suite with a separate bedroom. This made the stay very comfortable--I wish we had stayed here more nights. This hotel is tucked in a business park area with not many cars passing by.
Cons: There isn't much around this hotel, which might be why it felt so quiet.
Pros: When there was no Sweet N Low in the room for coffee and they ran out downstairs; we let the front desk know and due to housekeeping would have been 20 minutes; the girl from the front desk brought it to our room herself within 5 minutes. Requested pool towel replacement for an evening of swimming and it was fairly busy; housekeeping was out there within 5 minutes stocking up. Really good accommodations. This Hilton goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant!
P.S. - Publix and a few restaurants were right in the park, which was an added bonus!

Pros: Location, Location, Location!!! Well maintained grounds.
Pros: The hotel was amazingly clean and very close to a number of restaurants and shops.
Cons: The A/C was not especially cold.
Pros: Neat, clean and very close to the beach area we desired.
Cons: Kitchenette a little smaller than desired, but very nice.
Pros: Rooms and staff were pleasant, when the A/C stopped working we were granted another room for the night.
Cons: Air conditioner stopped working one evening, however we were provided with access to another room.
Pros: Nice clean room.
Cons: Parking situation and it's not as close to the beach than you think.
Pros: Hotel employee was such a pleasure to work with. We were enjoying our weekend so much we extended a night with no issues and full accommodation. Above all, the room was very clean. Loved that we were within walking distance to the beach & the best Ita
Will definitely stay here again. The staff even returned a credit card my wife left in the room.
Pros: Beautiful plants, large suite with door to bed room, convenient to everything. Very helpful and friendly staff
Pros: Our 'cottage' was cute, clean and homey! Had that Old Florida feel - exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, within walking distance to the beach.
Cons: Wish there had been a hot tub, and the pool was small. But we would still go back!
Pros: 1 bedroom unit is specious compare to typical hotel room. Near beach. Small complex.
Cons: Room and hotel needs updating. Parking spaces are limited. Room has peculiar smell like smoking/humid. Beds are stiff like timber.
Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly. The open areas had plenty of shade. The room was very clean, the kitchenette was clean and equipped with necessities. I will stay here again.
Pros: The property owner was on-site and very efficient, very friendly. The beach was very close, the parking was free.
Pros: Charming little motel in a cute 'old' beach neighborhood. Within walking distance of at least 7 good restaurants. Room (116) had a small apartment feel to it with couch, recliner, and kitchen. A nice relaxing place where I'd stay again.
Overall, it was one of the best motel experiences I've had!
Pros: Great location...came with microwave, fridge, and a stove top!
Cons: One minor thing: coffee provided (which that's cool) was ready at 8am...too late for early birds...but they provide a real coffee maker in the room, so bring your favorite grind from home!
Just a 5 minute walk from the sandy shore, this colorful St. Pete Beach motel features an outdoor pool with spa jets. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Cable TV and a kitchenette are found in each bright, wood-furnished room of Carlton House. A coffee maker and an iron are also included. Guests of the Carlton are welcome to relax on the deck next to the pool or cook out on the barbecue. Free coffee is served every morning. The Majesty Casino is 10 minutes from the motel. The Gulf Beaches Historical Museum is 13 miles away.
Pros: Location is great and interior of rooms were nicely renovated; however exterior and common areas look like old Florida condo
Cons: I thought service was mediocre. Staff training and attitude is clearly lacking and falls way short for a property at this price level. Came back after a day being out and room not serviced. Not able to service since housekeepers go home. Promised housekeeper would be sent over from main property-never happened. Mediocre cleanliness. Missing service items.
Pros: The location was great, very clean and best of all you allowed big dogs.
Cons: not well signed on the road, the elimination area for the dogs was a little smal
Pros: We stayed for our Anniversary, was quiet and clean, and we were very happy with our room and our view of St Pete Beach. Loved it!
Pros: It was very clean. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Perfect sunset watching. Very close to the beach. Had a great time.
Cons: There should be more restaurant/nightlife options.

Pros: Small operation that goes above & beyond to make the stay memorable. The staff is awesome - they work hard to maintain their reputation. Great food & wine list. It's our favorite local hideaway for a staycation - the room service might as well be a dining experience in & of itself. The rooms are romantic - relatively regal for the price - you simply don't care to leave them.
Cons: It's no the fault of the facility - truly. You have to resign yourself to the fact that you are in a popular area - and there is a rooftop bar (The Canopy) at the hotel. The operations surrounding the place can get loud early - but nothing some music or TV can't drown out. If you're having the fun you should be - it won't be an issue.
Pros: Loved everything!
The Birchwood features a nightclub and puts you just steps from Museum of Fine Arts. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out Birch and Vine, one of 2 restaurants, which serves American cuisine and is open for lunch and dinner. 2 bars/lounges and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like iPod docks and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: Great staff- helpful, cheerful, funny, kind.
Cons: way to soft beds and pillows- food prices are very high for what you pay for high priced room, and would have been nice receiving free coffee when ordering meals.
Pros: I was local and my AC went out so I stayed at this hotel. Very nice and comfortable. A little expensive for a Tuesday!
Pros: beach attendants very helpful and accommodating, especially Earnie
Cons: Extra charges in the last few years such as parking and newspapers placed at doors in the morning.
Pros: Great value. Beautiful sunset.
Cons: Too far from downtown
Pros: Luxurious and relaxing
Pros: Directly on a beautiful beach. Easy to find. Everything you need is in the resort.

Pros: The service was fabulous, room large, walk across the street to one of the top beaches in the world. Shout out to Kate, Rich, Kim, Derrick.
Cons: Liked all
Pros: There was so much to like, the staff, our rooms, the back pool and deck, and all the other detail that made it extremely nice.
Cons: If only it was on the beach. But it was not hard to get on the beach from the hotel
Pros: The hotel is beautiful, and the staff was amazing. We partied on the new rooftop lounge and were able to see a 360 degree view of fireworks from St. Pete, Clearwater, and even Tampa! Amazing views, great music, engaging staff. We are local, so we stay at the beach often. We will definitely make this one of favorites and recommend to our family and friends. We may come by boat next time, as they have mooring privileges. Looking forward to that amazing food from Castile next time too.
Pros: Great location friendly staff
Cons: Small room
Pros: Great general location
Front desk and staff was EXCELLENT!!!
Cons: Location was not easily found-Signage was very lacking.
Access to charging outlet for phone and personal communication was like a scavenger hunt.
No option for self parking, parking fee was mandatory and only by valet.
No directional signage upon arrival to direct to front desk for check-in.
Pros: This hotel just opened, so the facilities are great. Rooms are wonderful and management truly cares about your happiness - and takes steps to correct anything that went wrong. Our room was very large with an additional side room area that could be completely separated so some could work or play in one part of the room without disturbing others wanting to sleep. Showers were awesome - large walk-in double headed shower areas. Everything about the rooms was top notch.
Cons: Service was awful on two occasions. Between a waitress just not bringing us water, jelly, and yogurt we had asked for at breakfast, and another incident where breakfast room service took an hour to deliver (and when they did there was no silverware - they came back 25 minutes later with that so we enjoyed cold breakfast) I can say the wait staff has some work to do. That being said the manager did take steps to correct the incidents. Management truly cares - they just have some kinks to work out.
The Kimpton Hotel Zamora features a rooftop terrace and puts you within a 15-minute drive of Salvador Dali Museum and Tropicana Field. You can splash around at the outdoor pool, visit the restaurant for a bite to eat, or unwind with a drink at one of the 3 bars/lounges. A poolside bar and a fitness center are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer up nice touches like pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: Perfect location the staff was outstanding from the valet to the front desk. The lobby hugged me from the time I walked in til the time I left. I would stay again.
Pros: The bed was comfortable. One of the best blankets I've encountered.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Great location. I will definitely stay here again.
Pros: Such great value. Spacious room, beautiful breakfast and friendly staff
Pros: The location is close to restaurants, bars, museum, and colleges. Unfortunately that attracts groups of people that are there to party and stay up all night.
Cons: After we discovered that our neighbors brought their own stereo with sub-woofer and invited all their friends to hang out in their room, we tried to move rooms. We were not moved and had to call the front desk more than 20 times over the next couple of hours to try and resolve this issue. No luck. The front desk was completely incapable of resolving this issue. I guess 20 year old college students that work at the hotel aren't capable of controlling the behavior of their guests. if you're lucky enough to have quiet neighbors, the hotel is alright. If not, then be prepared for a long night.
Pros: Clean super white bedding, free breakfast and walking distance to everything!
Cons: The $14 valet parking fee!
Pros: My daughter and I recently stayed while she was on break from College. We had an excellent experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our accommodations. The valet service was excellent . Loved the bedding. We will return!
Cons: The bathroom could use a fan. The bathroom sink drained slowly.

Pros: Overall the stay was nice and we had very little to worry about. To be honest we weren't at the hotel much, but the room and gym were both very clean.
Cons: Just about everytime we went to the front desk there was no one to be found to help us. We would hear them in the back laughing even after ringing the bell. Once someone would come up to help us, I felt like we were inconveniencing them and didn't feel comfortable asking what I'd wanted or they'd look at my like I had two heads.

Cons: Food was pricey, but to be expected.
Pros: Great location with lots of activities on the beach. Family/kid friendly. Great staff. Resort restaurants were convenient and good food. Great value for the price. Free parking and free beach cabana for guests was nice also. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Room was small
Pros: Beachfront location, lots of activities,
Cons: Loud court yard noise
Cons: Didn't like that you got your parking pass from the Time Share people, if I wish to have a time share, i will purchase a time share. I'm on vacation and do not need a sales pitch!

Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent service.
Cons: Hotel is far from beaches and downtown St. Peter but accessible by car/uber
Pros: Location was clean and had plenty of amenities including a gym, pool and restaurant. Also we're very quick to bring extra toiletries.
Cons: My deluxe room was changed for a regular room with no explanation and I was charged the same price. I didn't care to make a fuzz but extremely unprofessional from the location. Staff was pushy with the wifi and even though advertised as part of the package they tried to charge 12$ a night for wifi. There was also some sort of issue with the police on the night of one of my stays.
Pros: While our stay was great, they didn't know who I was or see my reservation. They saw my email reservation confirmation, but did not see me in their computers at all. They had one last room for us in that specific type of room. We were lucky to get our room.
Pros: Helpful staff, good menu at restaurant
Cons: Very noisy from the road, the elevator and the AC in room. not a restful night. Pool also small with little seating and windows from the restaurant - no privacy.
Pros: Close to the airport.
Cons: They were quite full when we checked in- so we were told there were only rooms with king beds left- also there were no roll aways. We wee traveling with our children ages 6,5, and 18 months. They brought us extra sheets and pillows to make a bed on the small love seat (not a pull out) but there were no extra blankets. My kids had no where to sleep. Breakfast was mediocre and staff seemed frazzled and confused.

Cons: Our room was not cleaned at all during our 4-night stay, nor were our towels changed or soap, toilet paper, etc. replenished.
Situated by the ocean, Beach House Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Treasure Island. Free perks include WiFi and self parking. Bonuses like sofa beds, refrigerators, and microwaves are in all rooms.
Pros: This hotel was great overall. Nothing super special, but a clean, comfortable, central "home-base" for a vacation stay.
Cons: The elevators were really sketchy. One was really old and creaky. My boyfriend got stuck in the other one for 20 minutes with sporadic electricity and physical jolting. When he finally made it off, he went to the front desk. They only gave him a neutral statement a la "glad you made it off." No apology, no indication that it would get fixed. He said they didn't even seem surprised by the incident.
Pros: ALTHOUGH THE HOTEL WAS PRETTY GOOD THERE WAS SOME QUESTIONABLE AREAS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY OF THE HOLTEL THAT I DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE WALKING BY THERE IS SOME GREAT RESTURANTS IN THE AREA BETTER IF YOU DRIVE TO THEM ALSO MY BIGGEST PROBLEM I HAD WITH THIS LOCATION WAS THE FACT THAT THE MANDATORY VALET PARKING ACTUALLY COST YOU EACH NIGHT YOU STAYED THERE THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT MADE NO EFFORT TO MAKE SURE YOU WERE AWARE OF THIS UNTIL YOU GOT YOUR FINAL CHECK OUT BILL WHEN I QUESTIONED THIS I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTICES IN YOUR ROOM AND IN THE LOBBY WHICH WHEN I RECHECKED I FOUND NO NOTICES ANYWHERE SO BE PREPARED FOR A SURPRISE ON YOUR BILL

Pros: The property was clean & bright. Right on the beach! The pool was beautiful and there were lots of other things to do onsite, as well.
Pros: Fabulous location. Dollar store, grocery tore and pharmacy close. Nice pool, right on beach.
Cons: Floor dirty. Children walking around barefoot in room and feet were black. Bathroom and walls in need of repair.
Pros: The location is great, the beach and beach amenities were great. The tiki bar had great service and great value. Overall this resort was a great value for the money.
Cons: Bathroom was small but still very usable.
Pros: Great location and Beach! Updated facilities are nice. Tiki bar is the bomb!
Pros: Second time we stayed. Very comfortable room. Beautiful beach front. Didnt have to pay a fee for a chair or umbrella. Towels provided for beach. Love doing business with a local business instead of a chain hotel. Will definitely return again. Very close to restaurants and all the action at St Pete Beach.
Pros: Staff was very nice, room was clean and spacious. Liked that their was a kitchen in the room. Very pleased with our stay. Private beach and pool was great.
Cons: Nothing,everything was great
Pros: We spent all our time on the private beach. Those Adirondack chairs are the best. Between the beach, the gulf, and the pool, we had all that we needed. Location is great, can walk to Walgreens and Publix. Rooms are nice, the kitchenette is very handy. The staff very friendly.
Cons: They originally put us in a room that opened to the street, which was kind of noisy, but when we asked to be moved, they readily accommodated.
Pros: Right on the beach.... clean, friendly, and really good bars auond to drink at
Cons: They didn't have a pool side bar...
Cons: Not all rooms are created equal
Pros: Location and room size.
Cons: Booked through a third party.,Priceline they treated me as if I was the lowest of the low.
I reserved a king but when I arrived they told me they didn't guarantee anything boom through a third party.
They sctually have I sign that's says you if you booked your reservation through ANY of the hotel booking sites other than their own
You might not even get to stay in the same room for the duration to stay. In other wards you would have to move based on the important prow who booked through their site.
Also they CLAIMED to have a " fitness" center. That consisted of a property down the street that had a closet type room with 3 machines and none if them worked. That was VERY. Dissapointing. Just beware DO NOT BOOK THROUGH A THIRD PARTY!
Pros: That it was on the beach and the room was spacious.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable.
At Plaza Beach Hotel Beachfront Resort, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Salvador Dali Museum. You can visit the fitness center for a workout or unwind with a drink at the beach bar. An outdoor pool and a garden are offered, and in-room conveniences include refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Beach front. Staff was nice. Tile floors in the bedroom and bathroom which is great for cleanup but also makes it easy for bare feet to pick up all the sand and debris that you bring in from outside. Beautiful view from Spinner and Rooftop restaurants which also light up in colors at night. My kids loved the breakfast buffet $16 A/$8 C. Good for the value if you're hungry and like eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, grits, oatmeal and cereal in large quantities. Lots of palm trees situated around the back of the hotel partially shading the pool deck during the day and creates a nice setup for weddings. Water at the beach was turquoise and pretty but not clear. Calm waters in the mornings, a little choppy in the evenings. No big waves so forgo the boogie boards unless you just want it as a floating device. Parking was a hit or miss. Nice layout outside for parking and traffic flow but underneath the garage was a nightmare, not ideal for big cars. Good location for walking to other restaurants, stores and entertainments.
Cons: Swimming suit cover up required while inside the hotel. Bathroom was tiny. Nice for small people but tight for big people. Hallway carpet is dated and smelled. Elevator is tiny and right in the path going from the front of the resort to the back entrance to the beach. Lots of traffic jams during peak hours. Swimming pool is small. It's supposed to be heated but doesn't always feel so. No hot tub. Good to have restaurants on sight but food was expensive. Service at Bongos was ok. Super busy so the wait is long. Bring your own umbrella to the beach or you can rent a cabana $25/umbrella $35.
Pros: The Beach and easy access. Bongos is the best and wait staff at Bongos is outstanding!!! Food is wonderful! Spinners has always been a favorite of my family's, all visiting relatives have always taken trips up there for the view. All employees were friendly from top to bottom, very professional, fun and energetic.
Cons: The breakfast buffet went up in price and should at least include orange juice which was 3.50 for a glass. I assumed a beverage such as juice would have been included. The elevators are slow and more computers or a private room with computers would be nice, like the Serata has, which requires a room key for access and has 4 computers, a business center. The gym is low rate and some machines are off balance on the floor. Seems unused and unkept.
Pros: The Lounge and Spinners had excellent food and amazing views. Good location and it's right on the beach.
Cons: Sheets were not soft, walls were thin, and elevator was slow.
Pros: The people at the service desk were excellent. The top floor with the spectacular views were wonderful. The outside bar was romantically set up with live music on the beach was great. Every room had a balcony and all felt like you were at an exclusive resort. Very clean. We arrived at 11 AM and they welcomed us and told us which rooms were available. Alan
Cons: Housekeeping was not good. Left dirty dishes in the room, didn't replace coffee or coffee cups.
Pros: Very dated. Staff is very professional and friendly! (They are doing that right) Property just needs updating overall. Rooms not quiet. Can hear neighbors like they are in your room. Parking is decent, go in the underground garage and take elevator right up to your room.
Pros: The staff was so nice and friendly. The food was delicious. Everything was right there. Restuarants, bars, entertainment and beach. What else do you need
Pros: Spinning restaurant, beach front location !
Cons: The hallways were not cleaned. They were dirty. The decor of the hotel is outdated.
Pros: Location location location! Great food and exceptional beach bar / restaurant.
Cons: Old hotel. Needs more updates
Pros: I love the restaurant that they have on the roof top. I also love the views.
Pros: Room was nice.
Cons: Bar under window open till 300am .loud music. 600am maintenence people start loud machinery. Crazy. No sleep.
Pros: The best price for beach front. Room was dirty, stain on sheets, hair on bathroom floor and in shower. Breakfast food not the good for the price but iHop is across the street.
