the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely stay there again. we were there over a weekend and there was a lot of noise from the street until late at night.
We liked everything about our stay, but perhaps the thing we liked best was the exceptionally warm and friendly welcome from the owners. Nothing
Great staff: Marco (the owner) was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. Also, the room and the bathroom were quite large and the beds were wonderful. Unfortunately, our room was on the street side and we did get noise from late-night revelers into the early morning hours.
The managers were very kind and helpful. The rooms could use some more furniture.
The staff was extremely helpful. They set up the self-checkin process for us two days before our arrival date.
The couple who own and run this Hotel were very helpful and interested in us as guests. Our room was clean and neat and had a wonderful deck outside the window door.
Personal service, free shuttle modernrustic room
very nice helpful owners and employees. Great location ,fair price ,nice room
The location and the staff were excellent.
Excellant staff and great room Nothing
Friendly staff! Large room overlooking one of the prettiest squares in Europe. Nice breakfast and complimentary wine/soft drinks in the fridge upstairs. free hi speed wifi.Very accommodating when we shortened our stay due to a earlier flight. Highly recommend! Great value. If you are intimidated by steep stairs and don't like the minor ambient noise that comes with a quaint B and B like this, it might not be the place for you. we are Americans in our sixties and we loved it.
Nice small farm, interesting for chilrdren. Good kitchen possibilities in the apartment. Very nice hosts. Warm welcoming with delicious cake!!! Hosts could warn about the airplane noise... Although windows are soundproof, it can still be heard.
The b&b was clean and in a good location. Room advertised as 'Apartment'. It is a Studio. no separate bdrm. Walls thin & shared w/the owner's residence. Office-sized copy machine, fax & business phone for owner's use is in the room. The 'Buffet Breakfast' is a few raw eggs & other food items in room upon arrival. Owner does not 'prepare'. No 'Playground'. There is 1 trampoline, 3ft off the ground w/out an enclosure. Pool is a pool kit in a field, surrounded by an old fence w/out a cover to keep clean. Pony rides 15euro for 30mins of riding. An 'appointment' must be made in advance. Warned that pony used is unpredictable. 'Dutch dinner' not available. Feeding/nursing farm animals not available.
I really enjoyed getting to know the owners (Yolanda and Klaas) on a personal level. They also seemed to enjoy getting to know me and my family on a personal level. They were especially attentive to my elderly parents, who were 85 and 81 years old. The surrounding area was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what I hoped for. Being close to Amsterdam, Schiphol, Volendam, Enkhuizen and Alkmar was also a big plus. I didn't plan on swatting so many flies. I should have expected it though, considering we were on a farm.
Nice, quiet and many animals
Good location, clean, friendly, good value. No.
The owner was very kind and helpful. The B&B is near to the sea, the city centre and to the train station. Steep staircaises and cash payment.
Hetty Hendriks is such an helpful, friendly, smiling person than you can only congratulate her. The room is a very well equipped with refrigerator and mini-freezer, a television, 2 hotplates, a nice decoration around a lovely and large bed, a large bathroom with shower, and sufficient storage space. Zandvoort is very close to Amsterdam, Haarlem, Keukenhof and natural places to visit on foot or bike. Firtsly, the footsteps of some tenants above our heads... This does not last long, you can be patient on vacation. Secondly ( :) ), watch out for albatross that can dirty up on the roof of your car !
Very clean and a great place to stay. Short walk to the beach and yet in a nice quiet residential area. We would definitely recommend the B&B Zandvoort.
The location is great. Sea, dunes and town center are very close There is no common area. The single room being very small this forces you out of house.
Hettie was very nice. The bed was comfortable, very hot water and good pressure, and had everything you needed. Bottle of wine the first night was a nice touch! Close to everything in Zandvoort! Nice to have brochures on a rack downstairs regarding things to do and even coupons for a few things. Studio was very small but I think Americans are just used to bigger spaces. Would've been nice to have an outside balcony.
I could easily travel from there to Haarlem and Amsterdam; there were good train connections. It was also relatively near Keukenhof, which I wanted to and did see.
The owner was very nice, helpful and cooperative.
Lovely place to stay. Owner very friendly. Had a lovely time. Good location for a break/holiday.
