Room was very clean and shower was the best!!!!
Restaurant and bar were not terrible but definitely could use some improvements. The buffet was a little sad looking. The food on it looked like it was well made but it all looked very bland and there wasn't much to choose from. Ended up ordering off the menu. Food was pretty good but it took an hour to get. Bartenders didn't know how to make cocktails despite having a cocktail menu. Drinks ended up being good after tweaking but still...
Location was good and the atmosphere was rustic. Outdoor fire at night to hang out around.
The buildings are old and need updating. The air conditioner put a lot of moisture into the room.

The lodge is in a beautiful spot perfect for hiking and minutes from Helen.
It is very old.. Needs a lot of renovation. While clean the rooms are very outdated the beds are not that comfortable, the carpets are worn and stained. Bathtub was not that clean. The food in the restaurant was seriously overpriced and not very good. The bar food was a much better deal and delicious. The staff however is exceptional. Good for if you are more into the activities around the are than your accommodations.
TV reception poor. Facilities need to be updated, particularly the baths.
