9.5 Excellent
Pros: We can for sure recommend this hotel when staying in Helgoland and would like to return. The location is central but its street not busy. The breakfast was good and plentiful. I liked to find one soft and one hard pillow in the bed, whereas other hotels sometimes provide multiple pillow but all of the same kind. The view on the little harbour was calm and charming, with a small cafe and tree on the side. We found sparkling wine and a chocolate as a welcome gift.
Cons: Although very comfortable, the bed for 2 had in reality 2 mattress. So, depending on how you sleep with your partner this can be convenient or not.. Also, we found the location more pricy than what one could expect on shore, but maybe it's Helgoland that is expensive.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about the hotel and the appartment during our short trip in a low season. The property is located directly at the promenade. The staff is friendly and communicative, the room clean and the little kitchenette extremely well equipped with all we needed or potentially could have needed if stayed longer. Wifi worked without problems. Breakfast plain and tasty. We stayed in a similar hotel in the same street some time ago, and although they are potentially the same, Rungholt has a much friendlier atmosphere. We will come again!
Cons: Can't think of anything.

Pros: Two adults and one 13yo kid. Stayed one night on the island. We were given two rooms for the three of us. Amazing sea view, very clean, nice stuff that knew english well, very good breakfast served.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location, close to everything, the room, bed, terrace in front. Until 10 p.m. all kinds of drinks by self service.
Cons: no idea
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice comfortable rooms in a great location. The room with the balcony and seaview was particularly nice; even if it was too cold to actually sit outside - the view from the room was still stunning. The landside room on the other hand obviously lacks this view, but it's still a very comfortable room.
Cons: The staff appeared rather stressed and chaotic (perhaps understaffed?), although in the end the service was fine.

Pros: Very nice ambience, convenient for ferry port and other amenities. We booked two rooms, one of which had a balcony with good views of the promenade and sea.
Cons: The second of our rooms, at the back of the hotel, had limited views and was rather small for a double.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was located opposite the sea which was fab. We were located in the attic and had wonderful views. The room was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the shops and places.
Cons: There was no lift which we knew but that was not so much of a problem for young people like us.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Rooad Weeter in Helgoland, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of North Sea and Museum Helgoland. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great view from the large window overseeing the Dune across the water. Competent staff and reasonably furnished room with small bathroom that has all you need. Good wide-screen TV and good performance internet via WLAN
Cons: Choices for self-service breakfast depend on what was delivered to the island - on one day I had to cope without fruit for my cereal (which was compensated for with an extra-rich fruit salad the day after).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Haus Rooad Weeter was a lovely place to stay. Basic but very clean, friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was very good. Location and views from our room were very good
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a nice family-owned place, simple and clean. The location is excellent, with fantastic view from the breakfast room. The hosts were super-friendly. I'd like to stay there again.
Cons: The room is quite basic, without a fridge, without any additional pillows or blankets, etc. But I only stayed for 1 night, so this didn't matter much for me.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Cozy little hotel in the upper town of Helgoland. In the morning you have breakfast with views of Dune and the ocean. Probably the most centrally located of all hotels on the island; they also give you a card with 5 free elevator rides(as the elevator costs money to ride between the upper and lower towns). After your last night, they offer a free luggage transfer to whichever boat you plan to take back to the mainland.
Cons: If you have heavy luggage and are unfamiliar with the town, then you might find it difficult to find the elevator to the upper town where the hotel is.

7.5 Good
Pros: View. Breakfast. Interiors. Good and comfy mattress.
Cons: Girls at reception without energy and (even small) smile. Very very small bathroom - when I wanted to wipe myself with towel I had to do some yoga positions.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: There is extremely infrequent and expensive ferry access to this site making it very poor value for money
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location, sea view, breakfast
Cons: On the first day the room was not serviced until after 6.00 pm. Room was not cleaned throughout our stay, very dusty. Towels on the second day were left array and no extra toilet paper was left. I complained but it made no difference. We did not get value for money. The hotel is far to expensive offering a poor service. Helgoland was great - we will return - but not to this hotel.
10.0 Excellent

7.0 Good
Pros: Near seaside
Cons: No elevator at some part of the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms
Cons: The noise on ground floor on night time
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel has a very unique style telling the history of Heligoland and the hotel with newspapers, pictures and artifacts. Room was clever made, maritime style with lots of storage room and a table with comfy-chairs.
Cons: Breakfast was good quality but standard; no cappuccino, only coffee or various teas. But that’s the only small thing I think should be improved.

6.8 Good
Pros: The room was nicely presented, the bed comfy, bathroom big and my welcome cake for my birthday a nice touch. We enjoyed having a balcony.
Cons: The room was small considering we paid GBP 140, there was only one chair. At 7.30 am staff started smoking right under our balcony and talking loudly for at least 10 minutes, enough to wake anyone up. Breakfast was average and the breakfast staff was non existent, you had to figure out yourself where to find coffee or anything. Breakfast time was till 10 am and exactly at 10 am all the food was removed. We were not impressed with the breakfast staff in particular.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location with wonderful view (sea, "The Dune", city …) - on the cliff (Oberland) - if you book sea view room. Rooms a bit small but very modern, clean and well equipped. Very friendly receptionist and rich breakfast.
Cons: The room service - forgot to give us towels, toilet paper in both rooms we occupied.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly. Helpful. Welcoming. Good breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A lot of the hotels on the island are in the lower land. This one is in the upper land on top of cliff. This give a wonderful view across the lower land and the dune, which makes up the other part of Heligoland. Also, it is a good starting point for a hike around the island. There are lots of nice restaurants and shops around. The elevator to the lower land is 3 minutes walk. We had a nice big room with seaside view.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit spartan and disorganized. Cold coffee, some guests had to wait for bread.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location, clean, spacious room, bathroom, service, extras like free to use first drinks in the fridge, card for the island elevator
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the breakfast and the location and the style of the hotel
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location. Gorgeous views over the Helgoland Unterland and Düne.
Cons: It could do with a bit of maintenance. Also the terrace in front of our room is bare and only has basic, older furniture. As the terrace is readily accessible from the road, you cannot leave your door/window open or any properties in the open.
