The size and cleanliness of the room.
The breakfast was a bit smaller than in the past.
Location great. Breakfast mediocre.
We have stayed at this facility many times over the years and in the past, have always truly loved it. The breakfast facilities in the past were spread about the eating area in stations so that you did not end up trying to "jam" 30 people into that tiny kitchen area, making it very difficult to prepare your meal. Additionally, when people are vacationing, ending the breakfast time at 9:30 AM is absurd. Should be open until at least 10:30!! The entire facility appears to be running down, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned at all!! We were most disappointed, and if we had to guess, we would bet the owner is trying to sell the property and not spend any money on it. Oh, last but not least, lobby television and room television did not work properly for the 3 days we were there. Cable kept "popping" and picture clicking out, very nerve racking!! Very disappointing stay!!!
I think I said it all in the last paragraph!!
I didn't like anything. This hotel is unfortunately a complete dump.
This hotel is in much need of updates. The room was so old and gross, the towels in the bathroom had stains on them and I didn't want to touch anything. The coffee pot was left in the bathroom, doesn't seem clean. The breakfast seemed gross and unsanitary, only ate the prepackaged oatmeal. The one water fountain downstairs did not work. The comforter was lumpy liked it had been washed to much and was time to change. It's a shame this hotel was changed from a Hampton inn to local hotel. Will never ever stay here again. $240 for this hotel is price gouging - this room was what I expect for a 1 star hotel under $100. Disappointed.
Grounds were very pretty and nestled in the woods and mountains
Not impressive at all for the price. Carpets had stains, comforters lumpy, wall hangings crooked, scuffs on walls
