We had a nice dinner in the bar with excellent service. The children enjoyed the water slide in the pool area. The rooms we had were warm and ventilation was difficult as there was only one large patio door which had a security device on it.
the service and the rooms were perfect
Nice atmosphere, nice swimming pol, superb breakfast buffe, the view from the hotel is excelent if room is towards the sea.
The beautiful seaside scene makes me exciting. The food is too simple. The room service is just so so. We'd been there for two days. I have to pay two-day breakfast for my little son, even if we didn't eat breakfast on the last day because we left for the early ferry in the morning. The location is not good choice if you want to go around to other cities because it is far away from the central station by walk.
The nice restaurant with very good kitchen, additional facilities (like pool)
very nice location directly at the sea
nice hotel all round, except for size and quality of room our room was not 4 star
Modern water front property. Easy access to Kronborg Castle and shopping area.
excellent food absolutely horrible spa area - completely run down: dirty and un-welcoming, the reception staff did only the minimum when we were checking in - no information about anything, if not asked.
the staff at the front dest were extremely cordial, helpful, cheerful and attentive, full marks to all of them. The staff handled all our questions quickly with local knowledge Fast checking in and out. Clean rooms, and pleasant reception area good parking facilities and although im not a gambler there was an enjoyable air of excitement as there was a club and casino in operation. to use the resturant for dinner, which was our plan, a booking had to be made, at 1800 hrs we found that we couldnt get a table so ended up going out to another resturant in town. costing us a lot more, and included an expensive return taxi ride. we did get a good recommendation from the front desk staff so all turned out all right. I am a smoker and dislike having to stand outside the hotel smoking.because of rules. The hotel i think has the best arrangement i have seen yet by placing ashtrays on the covered balconies so accommodating us who are still puffing away comfortably.
Practical and well functioning hotel with a positive and friendly atmosphere. Spacious and light rooms.
The hotel is situated by the sea and has a "marin tuch". Located between Luisiana and Bakken. The rooms are not new and the hotel has a bit of the 70s left. The game room is not fun!
The facility itself was nice, comfortable bed, decent room. I don't stay in hotels often but it was okay for the money This is not in Copenhagen. I had to take the regional train to get there, almost an hour away from the airport. I was carrying a large backpack and a smaller one due to traveling around Europe for almost 3 weeks before arriving and was treated rather abruptly by the woman behind the desk. I got the feeling I was looked down upon. Then in the morning when I was settling my room tab she made a point to explain the currency I was getting back...also in a belittling fashion. Not necessary at all.
It has good location and connection through public transportation. Easy to get to from CPH airport and city When we arrived in the hotel, the booking.com reservation was not in their system. I had the confirmation printed out and hotel staff managed to arrange for a room even if hotel was fully booked, so thanks to them for that, but I wasn't very impressed with booking.com for that surprise. Hotel also has a mold problem. It was not in the rooms but as soon as you step in the front door, you know there is structural problems with the building.
Lots of Mosqitous
Hotel is conveniently located for those who have business or holiday in the Copenhagen area and who have their own car. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff was providing service all right but without real interaction with the guests. Saying "goodbye" or something like that when someone leaves after a full week stay should not be too much trouble. Pillows were extremely soft and small.
Very friendly staff and relaxed common areas
It is near to my meeting place The hotel is very old and need to be renewed. There is bad smell all over the hotel. The bathroom is not very clean. The Wi-Fi network signal strength is very poor and it is missing in some rooms.
The location was what I needed.
The reception was fine, the room was OK (we have had better rooms at the Marina Hotel in the past! No view on Oeresund). The bathroom is rather poor and in this case both toilet and washbasin did not evacuate properly.
definetely nothing besides the size of the rooms and the location for a visit to copenhagen paper basket was not emptied during 4 days, rooms poorely cleaned, unfriendly and ignorant staff, non motivated unfriendly and "dirty" cook at barbecue, no recommendation at all
Good location-beach front, huge lot, 20-30 min. beach driving to Copenhagen, 20 min. beach driving to Helsingor & North Zealand area where has gorgeous castles and other tourist attractions. High speed internet, computer set in each room, very generous services on cold & beverages, copy machines and printers at several places. Free parking. Much potential after finishing renovation. Hot foods in breakfast. Good price for overall. Extened my staying to 4 nights. Long way to parking & to rooms. Needs check-in & out parking at least. Stairs shouldn't be in the ways for suitcase carriage. Not enough signs and no English sings. Building is classic, but on the contrary the most of furnitures are too light & contemporary.
I liked beautifule view to sea and nice historical location near Karen Blixen Musem. Most of the all I liked the price. Now in summer 2010 hotel is under renovation. That causes some uncomfortness if you are extremely demanding traveller. Normal adaptive person it should not be a major issue.
We enjoyed our stay at Rungstedgaard ... No
The rooms were spacious and bed good, however this is an old university dorm room style - no elevators. Shower best pressure in any hotel I've ever stayed at. must know: Catch the train from the airport to Rungstegard Kryst about €20 - taxi will cost €100. From the train station walk 20m to traffic light and turn right, then walk 800m to traffic lights and turn right, hotel is 400m on the right. Staff were not there to meet me at 10pm and was pitch black with no instructions.
The facility is very pleasant and near north Zealand sites-Louisiana, Kronborg and Fredericksborg.are only minutes away. A very comprehensive Karen Blixen museum is next door. Excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms are quiet and attractively decorated. Not only do they provide wi-fi, but furnish the computer in the room. Very attractive courtyard. The facility is undergoing extensive remodeling and access may be cumersome. There is one elevator in one corner of the facility and its a long way to the opposite corner.
The large park, the quiet and beautiful site, decorated with lot of arts, very nice for sports (jogging...) and appropriated for conferences, the history of the place. Too quiet in the evening, no activities in the villages nearby.
Excellent hotel having wonderful location near the sea from where Swedish settlements can be easily seen. Buffet breakfast offers exceedingly vast chice. For taking luggage to and from the room, one has to climb up and down short stairs at least three times which is a littleannoying.
Sea view at breakfast table. Internet (cable) in room. Book the hotel for an overnight stay if you get a good budget offer. In all other cases, read also the low and medium reviews on this site to get a feeling for this hotel! Hotel is a better youth hostel. Very plain and functional breakfast room. Small very basic rooms. Breakfast buffet not properly refilled after (around) 8:45. Moderately clean. Very limited parking at hotel. More parking quite farther away only. Quite far away from most tourist attractions. Very overpriced (what we paid).
Staff are friendly and helpful - art collection is magnificent - rooms are bright and quiet. We spent two nights there and liked it very much. No, we liked it.
everything was perfect hotel site is really huge with lot of corridors, dependent buildings and it is easy to be lost
Wrong spelling, I did not like: spells lo - with capital letters - the conference Inn of the danish Unions!!!!!! I got fooled!!! The additional costs when paying with a credit card - I really don't understand this!!!!!!!!
I liked the informal kind of self-service atmosphere of the place. Everything one needed was available nearby. No stuffiness - friendly and efficient staff. No
Fascinating architecture and lots of contemporary danish art
The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating, my room was very functional and had a nice view, the venue was very suitable for the conference I attended, the food was fabulous and generous. I cannot think of anything!
Very nice location in a park closed to the sea. Interesting architecture and really nice hotel stuff.
Very uncomplicated Nothing
quick service; proper rooms; down town city near by; just a good hotel to stay the night shower is difficult to operate as the showerhead has its own mind
Clean facility and room. Excellent continental breakfast in spotless dining room.
Dinner at restaurant was the best experience. Free internet. Bathroom is quite uncomfortable, in particular, wet floor is slippery, I would not recommend elder people to enter this bathroom. Uncomfortable outdoor place. Poor illumination in the room. Poor smell.
Very good food and wine in the resaurant
Efficient and helpful staff, rooms provided all that was required. Food in restaurant was good. Rather sparse decor, position not attractive. Restaurant prices very high.
arrangements were well done. Reservation was easy to make. room had little kitchen in it to use. Bed was good. Room was cleaned situated little far away, but still in a walking distance of Hillerod center. And Copenhagen is reachable by train
The very comfortable bed no
The hotel has an idyllic woodland setting which adds to the relaxation. The spa facilities were excellent and well maintained throughout
Dining room fully booked. Should be possible for hotel guests to have dinner.
Very nice ambient, very kind staff, nice location, good restaurant, good spa
Relaxed atmosphere. Quite surrondings. Verey good zwimmingand bathrooms quolitie no remarks
Relaxed atmosphere and excellent food.
Strange and bad behevior from the staff.
The staff were exellent, the food was very good and the hotel grounds are a pleasure to walk in. We looked at the swimming pool and the gym and they looked good and clean. The bed was so hard I could hardly walk in the morning.
very clean and comfortable
food great, location really close to all the sights in north zealand. rooms designed in modern scandic style, good facilities. service was poor on day 1 due to a mix up on the restaurant reservation which cause a long delay in getting seating, and then the service was rushed/patchy, however on the 2nd night everything was great and the service was impeccible, so I think this was just a one-off error.
the space of the room; the possibility to air the room through the windows the gravel around the houses; it was most uncomfortable to walk to the office; at least a footpath with smooth surface is needed
On the outside it looks like a basic motel, but on the inside it is modern, clean, and full of surprizing features like heated bathroom floors, rainfall shower, etc. Breakfast was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make my group (high school students) comfortable. Can't speak highly enough about the hotel. For the price, it is an excellent hotel. It is in an industrial area, but close to two bus stops.
Great rooms and breakfast! Location is not perfect.
Clean, nice rooms. All the comforts you can expect of a more expensive hotel
Everything was excellent: Good price, easy to find location, drive up free parking, nice, clean modern room, free internet that worked well, and a very good, free buffet breakfast, well maintained.
Suits people travelling to or from Sweden, its on the road, and the rooms are private, good motel design and standard. Floor warmth in the bathroom - room109 did not work.
breakfast at 9:00 pm restaurant was closed.
friendlyness of staff and space beds were a little bit soft for 'backs'
The staff was very friendly and helped to feel in ease from the first minute of arrival, despite the horrible weather outside. My room was extremely clean.Simplicity in everything,a good location and an appropriate price.I would undoubtedly come back again.
excellent staff, quiet room, clean very difficult to find entrance ... perhaps more signs needed
A very good hotel considering value for money.
Front Desk staff were rude. First night when we arrived we asked for a luggage cart. The Front Desk Clerk gives us one that is broken. On top of that the elevator did not work with the key. Had to ride up to the front desk and switch elevators. Front Desk Clerk was more busy watching a movie than helping out. The next day we needed a luggage cart again. This Front Desk Clerk had the most outrageous response. She went to check in the closet for one. There was none. She came back and said "well there are none." I told her I had a lot of things to take down to the car so what would she recommend. Her response. Well you will just have to make many trips. Wow. That is all I can say to such a response. A most uncaring staff.
Good breakfast, smart personel by reception, free parking in the basement, wi-fi internet inside of the rooms
the location of hotel is great as it is located at the center of lyngby. few choices of TV channels
Good location; situated directly above two floors of shopping centre and hotel's parking floor, but the hotel itself is very quiet. Pleasant views from the hotel room windows. The balconies of the rooms are all connected like a corridor (might be good for a quick exit if there's a fire), so felt there was no privacy/security.
I have a good time in this hotel. It is really a good choice for travelling in Copenhagen.
Close to public transport (effective in Copenhagen) and close to major roads as well. Quiet. Breakfast was good. the sink was almost completely blocked (room 721) and nobody came to fix it during our 4 days long stay despite I advised the desk.
The hotel is located about 1.5km from the Metro station "Malmparken" and takes around 15 minutes to walk. Its quite modern, if basic, with plenty of parking lcoally. Although evening emals are not available, tehre are some restaurants within about 5 minutes walk.
Staff's hospitality Reception is not 24 hours or at least until midnight.
For my purpose fine placement, nice new and clean facilities. Poor breakfast
breakfast - machine for soft drinks out of order, no backup solution, on my question I was asked to have either coffee or tea + rather pure selection of anything you can put on your bread (only butter, and 1 kind of cheese)
Clean rooms, free parking, nice quiet location 10 min by car from Copenhagen The room for 4 was really very small, beware that the reception is closed from 12 to 16 o'clock
quiet place, free parking Internet not included
clean and modern at the arrival the staff immediatly asked us the payment. They didn't let us the possibility to pay after have change our currency. So they applied a very high change rate : €1 = DK 6.66 , instead of 7.50 . So we paied about € 50 more on the hotel tarif and they explained such high change rate , because of the bank fees. Usually banks take about 2-4 % , but Zleep Hotel took us 12%!!! too much for a change!!!
Clean room. Breakfast No receptionist after 11:00pm - I was locked out due to being given a door card ckey that was incorrectly programmed. Also room very basic, it did not even have a bin!!
everything not really
Staff were very friendly and efficient. I did not get full use of the hotel due to my late arrival and early start the next day.
It is calm and clean, and good breakfast.
Very nice surroundings, very quiet. Low electrosmog levels: actually it seems to be one of the few hotels without a phone mast on the roof, or nearby. Great restaurant.
Friendly, helpful staff Value for money Nothing
The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly
Dinner; breakfast Nothing
Near where we go too.
The room seemed to have been recently renovated and was quite nice. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The staff were polite, but obviously not very experienced, therefore the professionality of the service was not very high.
Wireless access to the internet The smell of the sour from in toilet
Nice environment, clean and comfortable Was waiting for someone in the reception for 15 min. No Personal to reach, not even at phone!
all the comforts and the fantastic service. not finding this place earlier in my holiday.
It was a few minutes walk from the train station. No drama, inexpensive, decent size room. The plumbing clanged every minute the one night, was difficult to sleep. Otherwise, the hotel was a great value.
it was near the station and the shops. Convenient location. Room lights too dull.
They have internet in the lobby It was too much noice from the street, but it was saterday! Maybe better windows more quiet.
The localization, the size of the room It can be a huge problem not having a wc in the room.
No good points. Reception was closed when I arrived 21:20 Telephone number at the door to call to get the pin code to the door. When checking out 07:40 there was only a sign "Coming soon" on the desk. After waiting 10 minutes I left the key and left.
Good location. Big room. No hairdryer, no hangers, bad picture on the television. Don't run out of plates on a Sunday morning (that forced several guests to do some dishes before being able to have breakfast). The reception was unattended at various occasions.
Parking was the only thing relatively affordable (20 kr). Credit card machine took 4 different cards before one was accepted, and it was not an issue with the cards themselves. For quality of hotel, hotel was overpriced.
Staff helpful with booking taxis etc. Hotel clean. Good breakfast. We were disturbed all night with street noise - had to have window open as it was warm, but Hotel can't help this. Bathroom facilities very cramped and shower bowl too low so couldn't help water slopping over the floor. Bed sheet too small and didn't tuck under mattress - need double sheet for double bed!
The staff was very friendly and helpful when asked for help concerning finding directions and transport. The television in the room was not working. The bathroom floor stayed wet after the afternoon shower, cause there was nothing to swipe the floor with. Soapdispenser at the zink was empty.
Excellent location. Bed was very uncomfortable.
nearness to gorgeous gardens the room was somehow narrow
Nothing I was given a room in a building opposite the hotel and not in the main buiklding. The room was small and not cleaned properly (dirt under the bed and mattress) The wifi connection was very weak
Very nice location near the castle, the park and the lake. Easy access to Copenhagen by car or train. Old style is good, but establishment need an upgrade.
Nothing, room was old and small, television was broken, no wi-fi connection working!!!!! Nothing, room was old and small, television was broken, no wi-fi connection working!!!!!
The old and somewhat decadent building and its garden
Close to my customer
Very helpful and friendly staff. Free WiFi. Has everything a business traveller needs. Too far from Copenhagen
Wireless internet was pretty bad in the far away room at the end of the corridor. The bathrooms where so small that you literally have to bend over the toilet to brush you teeth above the sink. There is simply no room at all!
Close from my business meeting Staff try to charge me at a higher price..as they did not check the price I got, so..take care
Convenient for my purpose. Limited menu options. Slow bar and restuarant service.
It was quiet. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. It was located close to where I was visiting on business. Restauarant was pricey given the type / quality of food.
Non-distruptive and friendly service. The bathroom was not in good shape, after a shower there was water in the floor, no curtains, etc.
Hotel Lobby design I liked it very much. Nothing else. I did not like the hotel as I think hotel was too costly compare to facilities and arrnagemnts. I stayed in the copenhagen city for 2 nights in a nice hotel with free continental breakfast but room rate was half of this with half of the rate of Lautuppark hotel.
quiteness dirty in bathroom
The fresh fruit at breakfast The room was poorly ventilated, each time I returned, from a day of work I could smell sewage/ bad drains. The bathroom needed to be painted. There was nowhere to get a cup of coffee after 10 pm.
Hotel is filled with nice antique looking furniture This hotel adds a 4% transaction fee to your bill when you pay with Visa. This is not mentioned on Booking.com. Hotel personel is not friendly. The hotel restaurant is rather expensive, offers little choice and the portions served are small. I recommend to have your dinner elsewhere. The bathroom lights are on a motion detector, you end up in the dark while showering or on the toilet. Room was hot, and the mosquito net was broken.
Very friendly staff, very helpful - great food
Great location and views rooms on the small side
a very easy-going pleasant visit; we really liked the quiet village setting and eating a nice breakfast outside looking at the church cars going along the side road are close to people eating; some screening (e.g. a hedge) would be nicer.
Large, comfortable and very cosy room. Our room was accessible from a patio, very nice and quiet. Location is a bit off centre but great if you would like to see some Danish countryside and only about 40 min drive to Copenhagen. Breakfast was very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely go back for a quiet weekend! Breakfast served only until 9 am. 100 dkk for the dog is a bit expensive.
Nice restaurant and breakfast buffet, free wifi Small and noisy room on the road side, shower directly in the bathroom (no separation on the floor)
The breakfast is good and the rooms are very clean and well maintained. It''s accessible by bus and train.
The breakfast offered a very good selection in a nice atmosphere, and the hotel staff was quite nice and helpful. The hotel building is quite old, so the rooms had a bit of a strange odor--not bad, just noticeable.
The entrance with the warm fire was very welcoming after a day out in the cold, windy countryside. It was a lovely experience having a glass of wine in front of the fire late at night with the rain pouring outside. The SPA seems alot better than it actually is. The extraprice for the jaccuzzi was a surprise for us, as well as the fact that there was no massage available throughout our stay. I'd say this is a hotel with two saunas, not a SPA-hotel.
The Badehotel is a very pleasant hotel. This applies to the location and the ground floor: well decorated reception, good design of the restaurant, fine breakfast and good food. If you arrive in the rooms it looks as if the hotel has not yet finished the renovation: no decoration in the rooms, no tv, only one chair at the balcony, small bathroom, hardly any place for toilettteries. We were really wandering how is it possible that one hotel as two so different sides.
The cousy atmosphare and the "swedish" enviroment Perhaps I do miss a TV on the room
