Pros: Lovely quiet location within 45 minutes or so walking distance of Hollywood via the coastal path. Large room and spotless shared bathroom. Tim was very friendly and chatty and bought Coco-pops specially for my hubbie!
Cons: Fairly limited range on offer for breakfast - toast, jam, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, e.g. could improve on bread quality and include something savoury, even if only a local cheese.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very opulent B&B with access to a lovely garden and the seafront. Easy access to Belfast by car and by train. Tim was a delightful host. Very welcoming and created an open and informal atmosphere among guests.
Cons: A little tricky to find when my satnav gave out, but advance planning meant I knew roughly where to aim for.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent host. wonderful room . really comfortable. great to have continental breakfast laid out and unlimited acess to the eating area all day long. On check out I left my charger in my room by mistake and the host called me personally to arrange to collect it. Hows that for service !!!
Cons: Everything perfect except one small wish would be dresser table to be provided to lay things down and use as a desk for working. This is being sorted as I write this review.

Pros: Very central location, right in the middle of the city center. All the staff members we dealt with were very pleasant. Room was big, bed was very comfy. Really good A/C and the hotel had a nice modern feel to it.
Cons: Room that we were in didnt 100% match the picture shown, dont get me wrong the room was quiet and comfy and generously sized, it just wasnt as nice as I thought it was going to be. Parking around the area isnt the best, there is a 24hr car park about a mile away but that was about £21.50 for 24hrs.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was so fabulous. Decor in my favourite colours and room was well laid out. Everything had been thought of. Great location and friendly staff on the reception. We loved the little morning breakfast bags - great idea as sometimes on a break away you don’t want to get up and dressed to walk down for something to eat. The kitchen area is very well equipped- would be excellent if staying more than one nite as you would have the option of preparing your own food.
Cons: During our stay the mirror fell off the wall! It was early in the morning and I had no idea what the noise had been! The mirror thankfully did not break, but unfortunately my sleep had been interrupted so I did not get a good rest.

Pros: Easy check in. Great location. Fantastic breakfast. Great staff.
Cons: All good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a good-sized, clean and modern room with complimentary bottles of water. The bed was comfortable. The really big advantages at this hotel are: 1. The very nice, chatty and over all pleasant staff 2. The little parking lot. Although there wasn´t space when we arrived, we somehow managed to park the car there anyway... 3. The excellent breakfast, served to order. It is a good value hotel in a quiet neighbourhood, but all the same very central. I do recommend it.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The Tara Lodge is a great spot for a stay in Belfast. The front desk staff are amazing, the provided breakfast is terrific (don't miss the power porridge!). The location is easy walking distance to city centre and are Lind the corner to some great cafes and dinner spots. Molly's Yard is not to be missed, best dinner in the UK so far!
Cons: The area is close to the university so there was some late night noise from kids coming home after an evening at the bar. Thankfully, the windows are good and blocked the majority of the noise, but if you want your windows open that could be a challenge.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice place, great staff
Cons: Rooms bit hot, could do with air conditioning
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Cleaning, comfortable room, nice staff, good position.
Cons: Standard Breakfast, not excellent. No parking available.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Nice staff, fast check in. Good hotel with free parking. In good location, quiet area. Not so far away from botanic gardens.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money and good location. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely.
Cons: It was warm so we needed to leave the windows open and our room was to the front so we were kept awake by the traffic and returning party people on the street.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Great location and a good breakfast.
Cons: Last minute booking due to a cancelled flight. Due to events in town the first night was £529!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, luxurious room with every little extra detail tended to. Staff very professional and polite. Spotlessly clean. Excellent location. Perfect choice of hotel if you want something a little bit special.
Cons: Service at breakfast was quite slow.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Ideal location for access to city centre and sightseeing. Famous bars just around the corner and City Hall a short 5 minute walk away.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and accommodating!
Cons: Upon checking out it came to my attention someone had made charges to our room. Not the nicest way to leave the hotel in the end. The staff quickly removed the charges from the final bill and apologised but seeing how easily people can do it was a bit annoying. Having paid a lot to stay there it's a bit ridiculous.
6.0 Good
Pros: location
Cons: five star hotel has black mold on shower ceiling and hours of restaurant
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location in the heart of the city
Cons: We had to move rooms due to a leak so they said. We were told we would be upgraded for the inconvenience but it was a smaller room. Moved again but but just the same so no upgrade. Over priced hotel for what you get, expected more won’t be going again. Oh and no car park so had to park and walk in, not good really
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room itself is comfortable and have all you need from good smelling products in the shower to mint pastilles in a very fantastic writing/amenity set in the room. The hotel generously provide you with bottled water (2 per day) and have a turn down service (fantastic cleaning staff). Bed, pillows, blanket and bed linen is good but not amazing. Location of the hotel is very good, you are close to everything.
Cons: There are two things that we did not appreciate with the hotel. Firstly, not once did the staff in the reception (or concierge) say hello to us when we passed by the lobby to/from our room - not even a smile. Would have made a much nicer impression if staff atleast once during our 3 night sleep could have looked up and smiled or said hello. Secondly the breakfast was £20 per person and such a disappointment. We were told we needed to let the reception know the evening before if we were to take the breakfast (to get a better price) after our first day try we did not take it again but ofcourse on the bill when checking out 3 days breakfast charged. The hotel adjusted quickly but I wonder what the thing with "must tell to get a better price" was about. Also we found the breakfast having small selection, took long time to get coffee to the table, not freshly baked bread and ell did not meet our expectations.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: The mini be good if it was included in room price
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We skipped breakfast at hotel and had something later during the morning in a cafe. We had dinner at Zen Chinese at Ann’s square by st Ann’s Catherdral. Lovely place.
Cons: Parking. £12 over night in a public car park part of bus and train station.
7.5 Good
Pros: Wasn't 5 star more 3 star .not worth €253 a night .want 5 star 4 seasons
Cons: Cleaning staff kept knocking our bedroom door and walking into our rooms this happened three times in 2 days that we stayed there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was excellent , chocolates under pillow were a great touch and staff were very friendly
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing and bedroom was very nice.
Cons: Trying to park when I first arrived wasn't good, no clear signage where to park car before getting to car park.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is really really nice and in a brilliant location. Bed was super comfy and best pillows I’ve ever slept on! Spotlessly clean and well presented.
Cons: The room was smaller than i expected and had one small window so not a lot of natural light. Rude awakening in the morning when next room turned on their shower and pipes started groaning loudly. Hotel promised to look into it.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beds super comfy, room was clean, and views were fantastic!! Staff where very helpful during check in a they were able to recommend a few local places to get a massage and to go for dinner. Also enjoyed the breakfast it was very nice!
Cons: The windows in the room don't open which is kind of annoying, very minor issue though as there was good air conditioning. Sometimes fresh air is nice though! Couldn't get up to the rooftop bar as last orders are at 11. Our own fault though for not checking as we left it to late.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extra comfy bed. Great facilities. Friendly staff. Great location.
Cons: Room was facing an office building and overlooked by offices.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazingly comfortable, large bed, would stay again based on this alone. The location was also excellent, good size of room which was appreciated as we were traveling with a lot of luggage. Staff were so nice and helpful, man on reception in the morning helped us with our bags to a taxi, getting drenched in the process - thank you!
Cons: V minor thing but the room windows were frosted so no view - assume it was looking into internal areas, but this didn’t take away from the enjoyment of our stay. Would stay again without hesitation.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and the decor was excellent and tasteful. The shower was fantastic and the TV’s were huge.
Cons: Poor reception on arrival. Too many staff lingering around but not actually doing anything. Have the wrong impression. This theme continued throughout our our stay with particular reference to breakfast area where staff (x4)were chatting and on phones in the. Idle of the food area and causing customers to move around them.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: All staff were friendly apart from staff at breakfast.
Cons: As above

Pros: Breakfast was lovely - kitchen staff were very friendly and polite
Cons: cant fault it :-)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, nicely furnished B&B with very friendly staff, easy street parking, and close to restaurant and entertainment areas. The University and Queen's Quarter has a lot of interesting architectural styles.
Cons: Currently, there is extensive property renovation in many streets and areas around the lodging. There were challenges finding Harpers because houses may not have street numbers, their street signs may be down or obstructed, and there are 3 different streets named University (University Ave, St, Road)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Harpers is a charming bed and breakfast located conveniently close to the center of Belfast in a beautiful old townhouse. The hosts are very friendly and attentive, breakfrast is very good and the rooms are newly renovated and very comfortable - thank you! :)

Cons: the bed and the duvet and the pillows ..... are ready to be updated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hostess Hannah. She informed us of all details to get to our room. Next day we made a mistake for breakfast (we didn't read the file) and didn't inform them we wanted some. There and then we were offered toast, cereal and at the back they were cooking us an English breakkie. Thanks a lot!!

Cons: The breakfast
7.0 Good
Pros: The building is grand and common areas lovely including gardens.
Cons: Check in was two hours late Room was a little dated in decor and could do with refresh despite being a suite. Spa is limited
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent, have stayed many times and hotel and staff are wonderful.
Cons: Only complaint is that the breakfast cooked is always cold.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Luxurious rooms, beautiful surroundings
Cons: The breakfast was not good and cost £50 for myself and my 8 year old son. The buffet items were dried up and unappetising for the cost I think the Culloden could do a lot better. We weren’t even offered toast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We are both vegetarians and explained this. The waitress brought our breakfasts out with bacon on top, we explained again, plates were taken away and brought back 30 seconds later. You could literally see the wipe marks on the plate where they had just removed bacon and given plate a quick wipe.
Cons: Service over dinner the night before wasnt great. Also very limited option for vegetarians ie. one option.
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was nice. The hotel was clean. The bathroom was nice. The grounds were beautiful.
Cons: I expected there to be better food options. The only place to eat for dinner was this pub-like place which was not connected to the hotel. The atmosphere was not really welcoming. I would not call this a kid friendly place. The service at the bar was not great.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Culloden is a stunningly beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. Staff are attentive, helpful and friendly. A special mention goes to Raymond the concierge. He was so thoughtful and helpful, a true gentleman. The spa is also amazing.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Pros: Location...in the heart of the city. Close to all the pubs, restaurants etc. The hotel is new and modern hotel. Two minute walk to bus and train station.
Cons: Only thing was there was quite a large gap at the bottom of our room door...let in light in from hallway at night. I had to get up and put towels to block it each night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely modern hotel in a central position in Belfast within easy access of all amenities. The room was spacious and clean with a large shower. Breakfast was great with plenty to choose from.
Cons: There was only whole milk available which meant that I could not enjoy a cup of tea. Other available options of fresh milk should be available. A lot of people do not drink whole milk these days!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We are a couple from Galway City, travelled up for the boxing that was on. fantastic hotel right in the heart of the city and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The bar staff went above and beyond for us.. Great food & drink. They deserve massive credit as the hotel was so busy last weekend and each and every one of them had a smile on their face. Will definitely be back. Possibly one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at and I really think its because of the wonderful staff they have.

Pros: Excellent comfort bed
Cons: Bar service
5.5 Okay
Pros: Positives- good location, beds were comfy and spacious rooms
Cons: We firstly arrived at the hotel with a very average greeting. No smiling, no real interaction, just straight down to the money side of things and no direction of how to get to our room. When we did get to our room outside was a huge damp patch on the ceiling and another in the bedroom. Bathroom had an odd smell in it, to the point I checked to see if the toilet had been cleaned properly. Breakfast area definitely needs an upgrade, had almost a hostel feel to it and again service was average. I wouldn’t stay again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable and convenient.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location. Good design. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere.
Cons: One of the room cards wasn't working at check-in. The tv remote wasn't working (replaced at reception). Very dusty around and behind the TV. Only enough towels for one person was left on one of the mornings. There was a dead fly by the window (trapped between two panes of glass). I was double charged for the room (the second charge is still pending in my account). I queried this at check-out and, despite assurances from reception, it's still there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: LOVED it all: the staff, before and during. They arranged two tours for me - and were great with my many questions. The room, lobby, and outside were all crazy cool! I felt like a star staying there. Chill music playing; fun and interesting people in and out. The best vibe of a hotel! Book there right now!
Cons: Can’t think of anything. This is a place I will stay at again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, comfy bed and lovely breakfast. What’s not to like.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, e.g. short walk from Europa buscentre! We loved the atmosphere and the style of the hotel. The bed was incredibly comfy and the room met all our expectations, it sure was a bit small but we liked it. The breakfast bag included was a pleasent surprise :)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, really cool decor, fab staff, great food. Perfect for staying in Belfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location and it's boutique appeal
Cons: Shower lotions set too high in the shower cubicle
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room very comfy, shower room was great and the staff were very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful.....
Cons: No complaints, will definitely come back!
7.5 Good
Pros: Location - Fantastic location in the centre If Belfast. Perfect for a weekend for shopping or if wanted to go for a few drinks nearby. Very comfortable bed. Sky tv is a great addition as well as being able to use your device to watch Netflix etc. Friendly staff. Breakfast bag being delivered to your hotel room is a great idea.
Cons: Cleanliness - Our room was quite dusty, I would imagine a guest with a respiratory condition would find this very uncomfortable. Our bed was poorly made on our second day in the hotel, the sheet was not fully put on. Faulty mini fridge - The “fresh” milk in our fridge was sour. We put our oranges juices from the breakfast bag into the fridge and they also came out warm.

4.5 Okay
Cons: Was a little dirty and can see that the standards have slipped over the two years and had to be changed room cause the first one wasn’t clean and wasn’t given my end of corridor room which I had asked for months ago when I booked the room. Poor.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff Modern look Comfy bed Great views
Cons: Bathroom floor wasn’t clean
6.3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The room was dirty. The shower needs scrubbed. I moved the bin every day as there was a brown sticky square where it sat. There was something splashed up the wardrobe door. The room wasn’t hoovered when I first went in and there was tissues in the bathroom bin. We had no water. Didn’t know we were supposed to get any until they put some in on the last day. They also only left one bath towel on our last day. It’s a shame as we were over for my son and daughter-in-laws baby scan and reveal who stay over here and we will be back and forward every month
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Position
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities, friendly staff good food and great location to Belfast city centre.
Cons: Although it's is a beautiful hotel, it is a little expensive.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean and quiet Breakfast
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable
Cons: Unfortunately the staff were indifferent or rude to us. We were left sitting out on the patio waiting to give our order for lunch, we eventually gave up and ordered room service to our room. At dinner the staff didn’t make conversation with us, it felt like we were an inconvenience to them. I did request a late check out but I never got confirmation that is was allowed however when we checked out I was informed that we did indeed have a late check out But by that time it was pointless as we had made other arrangements and luckily our new hotel (the titanic hotel) was allowing us an early check-in
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The carpets in the hallway had big stains —didn’t seem clean. Dishes were left outside hotel room doors for hours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Second time staying in Belfast, first time at AC hotel, car park secure and cheap. Staff couldn't be more helpful, myself and girlfriend arrived during Pride weekend which meant a shortage in rooms ready. Staff were apologetic and comped a round of drinks for us while we waited for room to be ready. Rooms well equipped with coffee machine, air con, decent bed and bathroom. Highly recommend

Cons: Cleaning of the room
