Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Some of the Plumbing had some problems, nothing terrible though.
The rooms r upgraded and they look very nice and clean the staff was polite and the kids loved the pool. They do have a basic breakfast in the morning that ends at 9am . I loved that the pool was indoor so the kids got to swim till 11 which was great for my family and that they had truck parking in back since the kids and i were meeting there dad who truck drives i would stay again I loved the pool and the room was very nicely done. I liked that their was some breakfast there and the fridge in the room was really nice to.
For the price it was a nice hotel. The bed is not good. The staff was friendly and it was clean. Not near any good restaurants or shopping. I would stay there again.
Rooms were clean, High speed wireless internet worked fine, close to Ft Bragg, but in quiet area north of post. Coffee needs serious improvement though.
This is a basicmotel with nothing extra,no pool or hot tub,or work out equipment. It had the hardest bed I ever slept on,and I like a hard bed.It was to hard for me. It was reasonably clean, housekeeping did alright. I will not stay there again, was not impresssed. There are a lot better places in the area. My brother picked this one,he's Army he will sleep on the ground in the woods and be Ok with it. Not for me!
enjoyed our stay..convenient location..clean establishment
Though the price may be geared for those on a more limited budget like mine, the stay here met my basic requirements and expectations for staying overnight anywhere regardless of price. The room and bathroom were very clean with modern and up to date furnishings. The TV had a lot of channels to choose from (all appropriate for family viewing) and a remote. The staff were all very friendly and helpful although there was one who was having an off day (not very interactive). Very quite place and has easy access to Ft. Bragg's north gates. I would stay there again.
I have stayed at this hotel twice in the past 6 months. Front desk staff is friendly and courteous. The second stay included taking my pet (black lab) who was welcomed with open arms and kind words. I noticed that the front desk area had cameras of the front and back areas (especially where I walked the dog at all hours of the day and night), so I felt like I was safe. I plan on staying there again within the next month or so. If I have any complaint it would be that the beds are high and I am short, lol, but that is absolutely no big deal. The beds were extremely comfortable and we really only needed a room and shower that were clean and we definitely got it. Another plus is the refrigerator and microwave...not that we used the microwave but it was nice knowing we could. One other thing I loved (being a plus size person) was the curved shower curtain rod.....really added to the shower.
Convenient to Fort Bragg Randolph gate entrance via SR 87. Somewhat difficult to locate off SR 87 as motel sign is somewhat hard to visualize from the road as you enter the town from Fort Bragg Bvd. (look to your left on entering the town)Very nice owner and wife who made me feel at home. Good air conditioning in hot and humid summer. Pet friendly motel at a minimal cost. No odors. Comfortable bed. Owner and wife went out of their way to assist in direction finding\nas Fayetteville is a nightmare in street identification. Orange juice was\nfantastic for breakfast. Entire lst floor is non smoking. No pool. Good value for the dollar.
Upon my recent travel to North Carolina my husband and I stayed at the Super 8 in Spring Lake. When we arrived this hotel was undergoing construction, there was debris everywhere, the doors to the back of the hotel were duct taped open so people could come and go without passing through the front doors, we were unable to open the curtains to our room due to workers being directly outside the room. This hotel is located not far from an unsafe area of Spring Lake, with seedy entertainment out on the streets.
The hotel was too far from exit from highway bout 15 mins The neighborhoods went from suburban to getto urban in a nano second.the area in which the hotel is located in is unsavory and run down. 5 mins from hotel we saw some unsavory guys selling God know what out of the back of a car. The guy at the front desk was nice, but the hotel didnt meet out standards. the sheets in the non smoking room had ciggarette burns in them, the room we were in a roach crawling on the wall. .... we drove 13 hrs to come here to rest...only good thing they took pets..never again.
Have stayed here twice. Friendly folk and clean rooms! Have booked another stay in a month.
You can't really expect perfection in a budget motel but this place was a good value for the price. The room was relatively clean and functioning. Not much available for the free breakfast but there are places nearby if you want to eat heavier. Location depends on your needs but I would not consider this a tourist or vacation spot. Free high speed internet worked great.
We traveled to NC to attend a family wedding, staying at the Super8 for four nights. From our first experience with the front desk, it was apparent that the staff of this motel really cared. I know that sounds hokey. But at every turn, someone asked if we needed anything, could they help with anything, etc. Now, it IS a Super8. And it's not new. If you're looking for posh, or elegant, or stylish, this is not for you. It is a little run down. There are few amenities. But unlike some higher end hotels I've stayed at lately, the wireless Internet was free, there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room, the TV had lots of channels, and breakfast was available until 10. For the money, not too bad a return. But it was the people who made it special. It's obvious that the new management is working on making the place shine. Some new landscaping went in while we stayed there. It's also convenient to several restaurants, only a few minutes from Fort Bragg, and about 20 minutes from Fayetteville. All in all, we were happy with our decision to stay at the Super8 Spring Lake. And if our travels take us back that way, we'd probably stay there again.
No noise, parking right outside the door, close to many food locations and gas stations. Bathroom was not very clean. No Soap available in the room. Burn holes in bed cover. Internet service only available at an extra charge. Pay per code to use.
Room smelled of cigarette smoke, so much so that even the pillows and the linens smell of it too. There were cigarette burn marks on the coverlet and the bathtub was filthy. I will never stay there again.
Just a room. They did no honor the reservation. Charged $-- when quoted ---. No room key and there was no remote for the TV and the TV had no volume. Sheets were not clean. Inadequate amount of towels.
Manger was a very cool Dude.,The lady manger was very kind to the heart. The rooms floors very nasty dirty rugs.some room's in area wall's windows very broken. Some locks were very arkward and very damaged .,Very dusty mirrors,I had to clean up and spray for bugs..but o thanks for me and I would not tell no one. Thanks
It was very dirty, musty smelling, and carpets were filthy. Nothing has been updated in years. The bathtub filled up while we showered and the shower head sprayed all over the place.
Nothing Mostly everything.
I like that the hotel was close to my family house There was bugs in the bed. They gave us dirty towels. The tub was filling up with water as I was taking a shower. The water was not draining.
This is the worst experience I ever have I never see the dirty room in my life very stinky half the time no air condition and one of the room and the air condition didn't even work
Water pressure Cleanliness and disgusting.
The location was great. This is a flea bag hotel. One towel, no soap or wash cloth, paint peeling everywhere, and carpet to scare you from walking on bare foot. I don't recommend anyone to stay there. I had a two nights stay and I didn't stay one night. DT
The staff was nice. The place is overall run down. I was put in a smoking room, so that was unpleasant (my clothes smelled like an ashtray when I left). There were holes in the pillows and the cases didn't adequately cover them. Sheets were wrinkled with some stains which made me question their cleanliness (although I think they had been washed; they were just old). The internet was spotty, but worked. There was nothing I could eat at the Breakfast (all high carbs and the only thing that resembled eggs was pre-packaged that required microwaving...no thanks). Coffee did its job, I suppose. It is way over-priced for the quality. I went to a neighboring hotel my next night.
I reserved non smoking howver when I got there, ai couldnt tell if it was a non smoking room or not, it smelled like amoke. Upon arrival, I got a call from a woman looking to provide her service. My wife was with me. Not cool at all.
Absolutely terrible. All 3 rooms had wet floors from air conditioners leaking. No blankets on beds. Cops in hotel all night from screaming lady down the hall all doped up. Didn't feel safe at all for my family.
It was decent for the price I paid for it. My boyfriend and I were able to just hang out there. If you had the privacy sign up they were really good at giving you that privacy. The maid would come back and check on you when the sign was down. The night security men were super nice and friendly. The pool was very small! My boyfriend had to go to work during the day and didn't feel comfortable leaving me alone there. The manager was great but the front desk ladies were rude and short. They acted like you were an inconvenience to them. Also our card wouldnt work every night when we got in and had to go to the country to get it fixed. There was a constant weed smell in the hallway. And I told the staff the room it was coming from and they didn't do anything about it..
Bed was comfortable. Linens were clean. It did appear that the room was painted recently and looked decent.. TV worked. Wifi was not able to be accessed while in the room. I was, however, able to access it when I got closer to the main office. There was no ability to use the secondary lock. it was on the door, but there was no place in the frame for the bolt.
location, nice bathroom mirror and sink Smelled of smoke worse than any hotel room I've ever been in! The a/c unit pumped out more smoke smell. Open door didn't help. Couldn't sleep in room and received no refund or discount. Pictures of room on Priceline seemed nice. Fooled by good reviews.
The location? Paid for a non smoking room, got to the room and out still smelled like smoke, my wife and I don't smoke and we try to limit the exposure that they have to it.

Close to megabus stop Spiders in room. Brown water from shower. Dirty and used sheets. Old and used coffee filter in coffee machine. Drug dealer in parking.
I never had this kind of experience in all my life. Bedding was so dirty...can't explain it. Owners were not bothered about. Told them everything. Suggest everyone not to go there. Even Bathroom taps were not in working conditions.
It was close to the town Homeless men walk about the property day and night. I only leave the room for food once per day, in the evenings. The microwave doesn't work properly. The phone in the room didn't have a phone cord, so I had to use my mobile to call front desk.
Not very much Dirty sheets stains on mattres room strange Oder

The male attendant who checked me into the hotel was very nice and polite. The hotel was close to where I needed to get to. The woman who was at the front desk when I asked for another blanket was rude. The room was freezing when I got there and it took 3 hours for the wall unit to heat the room. And a drug deal went down in the parking lot right after I got there.
NOTHING EVERYTHING Horrible location Hotel was being painted Bed was very old and uncomfortable Manager was not very polite
