Pros: Host Samuel makes you feel at home without being intrusive. Our room was simple but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is extra, but reasonable and includes fresh-squeezed orange juice.
Cons: The bathroom is functional, but one of the doors on the shower needed to be eased back on track to avoid flooding. Also wifi cut out mysteriously after 9:00pm.
Pros: Friendly owner maintains the facility well... Good room furnishing for Albergue facility. Location was on the Camino route. Owner's wife prepared very good roast chicken meal.
Cons: Shower door was not large enough to stop water spilling out on to the floor. There was no bathroom floor towel so that I had to use one of my bath tower to clean the wet floor.
Pros: Friendly service. When we arrived Sam led us to a twin room, but quickly changed us to a room with a double bed when we asked about it. Sam is friendly and hardworking, plus his sister is the Spanish woman who married the son of Emilio Estevez

Pros: Excellent location, very clean
Cons: Rooms were hot, and we were not able to turn the heating down
Pros: Location. Breakfast. Comfortable beds.
Pros: We’re on tour and this was - by far - the best hotel we stayed at. Clean, pleasant, the BEST breakfast. Very comfy beds. Great!
Cons: No parking for a big van. We had to park 10 minutes walk away. Not awful, but would be nice to park outside the hotel.
Pros: I loved the hotel, the staff, the room and the brekfast. I wish I had stayed longer. The building itself is a jewel with a covered cloister and vaulted ceilings. I have never seen such a rich choice of toiletries in the room before. Tea, coffee and water are provided for free.
Cons: I could hear church bell chiming till a late hour, but that is to be expected in the heart of a city with lots of churches. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
Pros: Location! Historic building.
Pros: The hotel easily accessible by car and a very short walk to the centre. The car park Is a little challenging if you have a large car. The room was comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom needed some maintenance, poor shower and only half the lighting worked.
Pros: Everything except the water pressure in the shower
Cons: The water pressure in the shower pressure is really bad.
Pros: Top location

Pros: Good hotel great with dogs. Staff were very helpful. Accommodation was definitely good.
Pros: Food and quietness
Pros: Normal high standard
Pros: Stayed many times always excellent
Pros: Love it
Cons: All is perfecto
Pros: The corridors smell like vanilla. Rooms really clean. Carpets!
Cons: The pool is a bit cold. I’d like for there to be tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Pros: A very nice modern hotel with good facilities .
Cons: It’s location. It was very difficult to find even with a satnav. Very tight, vehicle parked roads. Also the charges for parking at e18 and e26 for a small dog are excessive. Finally there was no room service, restaurant or cafeteria available until 8.30 pm which for English travellers is tiresome. Geoff Cowpland
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful, very good location & great views, room well appointed, good level of privacy in bathroom from bedroom, window could be opened
Cons: Lack of tea & coffee making facilities
A stay at Hotel Silken Gran Teatro Burgos places you in the heart of Burgos, within a 10-minute walk of Burgos Cathedral and Arco de San Juan. This hotel has facilities measuring 5821 square feet (541 square meters), including conference space. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: This is an ultra modern hotel, with very good facilities and close to the centre of Burgos. It was clean and the receptionist was very friendly, though also very busy.
Cons: The price of a breakfast at 14.50euro was steep, as is the price of parking the car at 15.50euro. The main thing I didn't like was the lack of lighting in the room. Without a central light it is difficult to pack your suitcase. The smaller lamps everywhere made it a lovely looking room, but one central light would be very functional for packing!
Cons: Very clean and relaxing highly recommend.
Pros: All round quality, facilities, cleanliness and service was good. The location in close proximity to the Cathedral and Old Town was excellent. We would return to this hotel and fabulous Burgos.
Cons: The rooms are modern, well equipped and clean, but they are quite dull in decor and light. Brighter colours, brighter lights and pictures would be very welcome.
Pros: The breakfast was the best. A wide range of delicious fresh products. The hotel is situated close to the city center and ti the museo. Was the first time i visit with my family, but we all liked it
Pros: I like the bed, it was big and comfortable.
Cons: The dinner, which was delivered to my room, wasn't that good.
Pros: The location was perfect, walking distance from everything.

Pros: Car parking good
Cons: Ordered room service food was cold on arrival
Pros: We use this location at least twice a year , when travelling from Santander to Torrevieja. It has everything for the onward travellers like us . Faultless never let us down over the years .would highly recommended
Pros: Breakfast good. Ideal for a stop over .
Pros: I chose this hotel for the Truck parking.. There’s a private parking lot out around the back of the hotel, very safe & secure, so I stuck my truck ( Rigid ) in there. Loads of room for Artics / Rigids. Hotel was nice, v clean. Loads of giveaways in the bathroom, inc toothbrush AND a razor! I booked a queen, so the room was huge. Bathroom spotless. Cafe / Restaurant attached to the hotel and NO other options around the place as the location is industrial but on the upside, the food is great and very reasonably priced. I ate very well for under 10 euros. Staff helpful and reception staff spoke good English, as did one of the Ladies behind the Bar in the Cafeteria.
Cons: My Room was a touch on the cold side, and that was with the heating on full. Also it seemed there was one of those plug-in air fresheners on the go, somewhere in the room although I couldn’t find it. Made the room smell like Airwick all night. Wasn’t a bad thing but got a bit heady after a while. No kettle or tea-making facilities in my room. Trek down to the cafeteria for hot water. No facilities in the area such as shops / cafes or restaurants so the only option is to dine in-house but as mentioned the food is good and well-priced.
Pros: Value for money! Location to the highway. Comfortable and good food!
Cons: It was difficult to find the hotel and the should be a better sign than "Hotel"...

Pros: Good overnight stopping point. Nice to see it is having a bit of TLC.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
Pros: Very comfortable room. Ideal place to stop overnight on the A62. Was worried that there would be a lot of traffic noise but this proved to be unfounded. Good restaurant. X
Cons: had difficulty with the sat nav coordinates the ones on your web site sent us wrong and the receptionist had no idea what they should be.I would be thankful if you sent them to my email.
Pros: Both the restaurant and the room were very good as usual. The restaurant staff were great. We have stayed here many times and are always very satisfied.
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like.
Pros: A very pleasant surprise and a great value. Our room was large and very clean. The on site restaurant is excellent and a bargain. Staff is very pleasant, professional, and spoke very good English. Free parking and our dog (10 Euro a night) was welcome. Easy highway access. Great spot to overnight!
Pros: Excellent room, good restaurant and breakfast. Hotel is near the motorway what was perfect for us on our way to Holland.
Pros: Friendly staff. Right next to motorway although traffic noise not intrusive.
Cons: Looking a bit tired. Odd broken floor tiles in reception and communial areas. Bathroom could do with an upgrade
Pros: Generous portions at dinner
Cons: It lacked comfort. It was quite sterile but obviously easier to keep clean

Pros: Good location, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Cons: The entrance /exit of car park was very tight, also at 15 euro a day expensive.
Pros: Well located good rooms clean and comfortable with safe car park
Cons: Not a thing
Pros: Room was comfortable.
Cons: No tea/coffee in the room and, as we discovered yesterday, the cafe was not open. The only way to get a cup of coffee was to purchase a full breakfast at 9 Euros (I don't eat breakfast!). Staff attitude was very rude. Not a great location.
Pros: Very good breakfast and good parking
Cons: windows loose, heating not working and it was a cold day. tv not working either from tv or remote. extra 15 euros to park.

Cons: Having to park away from the hotel was inconvenient.

Cons: The hotel is rather oldish. Extra beds in the family room were crappy and uncomfortable. Summarizing, I would expect more for the money I have paid.
Pros: Location was great short walk to all attractions, restaurants and historical centre. Car parking straight outside hotel very reasonable very comfy spacious room, very clean and very comfortable bed
Cons: Didn't enjoy the breakfast was cold and bread was hard spoke to the waitress and she did replenish immediately but was too late then
Located in Burgos, Las Vegas is within a 10-minute drive of Statue of El Cid and Arco de Santa Maria. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We were travelling through Spain to France during the lockdown and could not have been more warmly received by our kind and generous host. We arrived late at night after a long and sometimes difficult journey as service stations were closed, and appreciated the fact that we were able to have a good meal in the restaurant. We were also offered food for our cat who was travelling with us. The hotel owner was most helpful in printing off the newly introduced paperwork necessary for travelling through France. Nice breakfast with good coffee. The location was very handy for the motorway and petrol.
Cons: The bathroom was basic but adequate for our needs.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent for the price. The room was a reasonable size. The bedding was first class. Car parking open-air but good and adjacent.
Cons: Not much could have been better for the price paid.
Pros: Very clean Excellent value for money. We had menu of the day which was delicious, 3 courses inc bottle of red plus bread and coffee for €24 for 2 people. Breakfast had plenty of choice.
Cons: Location was useful for quick stopover but little to see newrby
Pros: It was clean and tidy for price The staff were ok
Cons: It was very dated and needed renovation The balcony rail should be higher for the second floor as very dangerously low The 2 single beds were very uncomfortable and the headboard very loose I would not stay there again
Pros: Never ate in the Hotel as the food description put me off as it was so darkWe ate else where. The beds were so back destroying could do with a soft Topper mattress.
Cons: mattressesCaused me so much pain, also lack of pillows asked and received 2 pillows ok young receptionist was helpful good clear understanding of English.Thankyou

Cons: Awful tea at breakfast
Pros: Price and location good with free parking available outside hotel
Cons: Cold buffet breakfast with toaster. One person serving restaurant so service not good as they were also working elsewhere in hotel. Poor attention to detail eg forgot drink order, had to ask for cereal bowls as none put out.
Pros: The bedroom was a good size compared to other hotels we stayed at on the trip. The bathroom was a bit cramped but it was good to have a bath.Lovely decor.
Pros: Staff very friendly. The bonus is the bar / restaurant. Blood sausage and chirzo with patatas brathas the best I’ve ever had. Wish it was closer to us we d go every week 10 /10
Pros: The bar and food good
Pros: Massive Terrace was a bonus as had a dog and separate area to bedroom, good space for the dog. Bar allowed dogs which was great. Food was good and amazing value. Decor in room was good and great size bathroom.
Cons: Room was too hot Bed slightly uncomfortable
Pros: Room was very nice with a shower and a bath, Hotel was pet friendly so we could take our dog into the bar in the evening. Staff were friendly and the food in the bar was good. Breakfast was a basic buffet but very acceptable.
Cons: Situated amongst apartment blocks so not the most scenic. Sat nav could not find the road because of pedestrianised areas. An awful lot of graffiti in Burgos and around the hotel. Could be difficult to find a parking space nearby.
Located in Burgos, Hotel Abadía Camino Santiago is a 1-minute drive from University of Burgos and 6 minutes from Paseo del Espolon. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful
Cons: Not the best breakfast we have had a whilst travelling but it was adequate. Garage extremely tight to get out of.
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Awful place. Small, stuffy rooms, no AC, no WiFi, unhelpful staff, far from the city center (about 40 min walk), the much-advertised bath is not clean, and, worst of all, you get traffic noise all night. Stay clear. Opt for a 2-star hotel in the center, there are many cheeper and better options.
Pros: Clean. Convenient
Cons: Bed too small Not enough cafes
Pros: Good stop en route to France. In winter the hotel was warm and perfectly clean. Look at the info in booking.com, and it is exacly what you'll get, we have been satisfied and had a more than sufficient continental breackfeast. The hotel has an underground parkink, with direct access.
Pros: Good vLue
Cons: No towels took w requests to get them
Pros: Pleasant staff
Cons: Not a real problem but car park very tight to get into and out- but hopefully secure
Pros: The room is very clean, quiet and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
Cons: It’s a bit far away from the historical centre (approx 3km), but the walk along the Parque de la Isla until there is really pleasant.
A stay at Hotel María Luisa places you in the heart of Burgos, within a 15-minute walk of Burgos Cathedral and Plaza de Espana. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel is situated within a short, easy walk of the city centre where you'll find lovely squares, a beautiful cathedral and a good choice of restaurants and bars. We didn't really know that we would find so much of interest in Burgos, this was just a convenient stop-over point for us - but what a find! We'll certainly revisit. The hotel could not be faulted for cleanliness throughout, both bedrooms and public areas alike. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and spoke good English. They were very helpful in providing advice as to where to visit and where to find places to eat. The city was busy as it was carnival time but we were able to eat well at a reasonable price. Despite the general hub-bub in the city and our room being at the front of the building we did not experience any noise from the street. Secure parking was available which meant our car was safe and since we were en-route from southern Spain to home it saved having to find an on-street space which was of a premium during carnival time.
Cons: Just being picky, I do not really like in-bath showers but that's just me!
Pros: Very much like a Boutique Hotel. From the moment we entered we felt at home. The receptionist, Pilar, was so kind and helpful. The room was lovely with shower and a bath. It was very quiet even though the hotel is on a main road. A short walk away we found a very friendly and inexpensive bar. . Parking was free and just opposite the hotel in a safe and secure underground garage. You need to check in first to then obtain the key to enter the garage. Will certainly go back.
Pros: Excellent location. Very secure parking at reasonable cost. Beautifully done hotel- characterful, clean and very comfortable. Corridors reminded me of a venerable old New York hotel. Lovely wooden doors on the rooms. Rooms very well equipped- charging (Inc USB) for numerous phones, mini bar, even a suit stand. Decent bathroom with bidet. Tasteful decor throughout. Restaurant was very good with an excellent and good value breakfast served. Staff lovely. Cannot wait stay again. Quite possibly my favourite hotel anywhere.
Cons: Er, nothing. The bath plug came off its chain?
Pros: The value for money was excellent, a comfy room, nice and quiet, a few hundred meters from the city center.
Pros: Good location, friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: We had a suite which was very comfortable and quiet. The underground garage is secure although quite difficult to navigate if you have a large 4 x 4
Cons: There were no hot choices for breakfast and the choice was not as comprehensive as on previous visits
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good buffet breakfast. Easy walk to town centre and cathedral.
Cons: The 'distressed' colour scheme of furniture and fittings in bedrooms and breakfast room. Gave the impression that it was not cared for. But beneath the apparently worn facade it was fine.
Pros: If we had more time we would have stayed another night. Classy, but not overly classy, with lovely amenities. Easy and close walking distance to old city and river.
Cons: Our choice was two single beds or one double. We chose a double. They simply put two singles together. They rolled apart all night, whenever we tried to smuggle.
A stay at Mesón del Cid places you in the heart of Burgos, steps from Burgos Cathedral and San Nicolas de Bari Church. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Very central location opposite the cathedral & amongst all the tapas bars & restaurants
Cons: The only minus as far as we were concerned were the hard mattresses. Like sleeping on the floor!
Pros: Stunning location, paid extra for a room with a view and well worth it. Secure parking right in the city centre next door to the Cathedral
Cons: "Dog friendly" is relative. Dogs are allowed in the hotel but not in the restaurant. Couldn't find a restaurant to let the dog in, or a covered terrace to have a meal at (January) so we had to rely on a takeway meal or leave him alone in the room. I suggest a marketing point could be a dog friendly area in the restaurant. We had a pizza!
Pros: Wonderful breakfast! Nicely appointed interiors. A sense of style. Everything well done.
Cons: Out reception seemed a bit cold, not that inviting. I stayed in 12 different locations in 14 days while walking the Camino de Santiago. I could tell when we were welcomed by the reception staff. This was not that welcoming for some reason.
Pros: Well maintained, very clean and simple breakfast of very good quality Location character and secure parking. Excellent views of the cathedral
Cons: Nothing of any significance
Pros: The quality of the rooms and the most stunning location. We had our dog with us and the nearby riverside walks were ideal. Very good breakfast and helpful staff. The hotel restaurant served delicious local cuisine, again with very pleasant and welcoming staff.
Cons: The garage arrangements were a little complicated but worked well once you knew what to do.
Pros: Location and Breakfast
Cons: The hotel was old fashioned the Restaurant was in another building across the street and the garage was in yet another building
Pros: Location and the view of the cathedral.
Cons: Room needed airing.
Pros: The breakfast was good, the room nice. I think the only disappointment we had was that when we arrived we paid extra to have a view of Burgos Cathedral, which we had but there was scaffolding up on a building next to it which blocked our view a little

Pros: Location is near a major highway, but the property is secluded and is surprisingly well-appointed. Furnishings, artwork, etc. are all elegant. Staff were thoughtful and gracious, food was outstanding
Pros: Quality, facilities, service and food all exceptional.
Pros: It's a fantastic building, you are transported to a different age c. 14th Century Spain, but with 21st Century warmth, comfort and service. The Restaurant is fabulous, the Hotel staff are intelligent, multi lingual, polite and well informed. We were delighted to have found it. It made a huge difference to a very long journey.
Cons: The Bar, which doubles up as the breakfast area is a bit slow, disorganised and a tad expensive. Shame really; because everything else is magnificent.
Pros: This is a wedding place from Friday to Monday and business meetings from Monday to Friday
Cons: Lack of service
Pros: The staff is always excellent
Cons: Wi-fi could be better (faster )
Pros: Authentic architecture Very helpful and friendly staff Lovely atmosphere
Cons: Pool wasn’t in use Dinner menu didn’t have any pasta or pizza on it
