Pros: Great hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Shower room if you arrive too early for check-in. Free everything- wifi, breakfast, snacks, minibar, evening drinks. Even "shoebox" room was large enough (at least for one person). King room was great too.
Cons: Shower in "shoebox" was a bit tight - lots of water on the floor afterwards. Shower in King room was fantastic.

Pros: Staff was wonderful. Don't remember hugging staff before but we did at the QT. Felt like home. They went way out of their way to be helpful.
Pros: Location staff rooms amenities
Cons: Could use more business traveler support

Pros: Separate tub and shower. Separate beds available and view. Ease and immediacy of taxis. Free wifi
Pros: Good location
Cons: Price -- they are "luxury" in price only
Also they lie about the construction that goes on there -- they DO work early in the morning before stated repair hours

Cons: They need to replace the little ottoman in the room with a 2nd chair. The king size pillows are too long and too heavy.
Cons: Very convince
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Great location, 10 minute walk to the opera house. You can see the harbour bridge from the hotel street.
They have FREE money exchange (US dollar to AD dollar). Super convenient.
Pros: Location, service and ammenities were great. Staff was very welcoming
Cons: Facade could use an update but the inside is very nice
Pros: Room very clean and comfortable
Cons: My second reception experience - arrived early and room not ready. Very helpful chap checked me in, checking photo ID and giving me spa key so I could freshen up after long flight. Promised a text when room ready and promised this would be within 2 hours. Returned from run to see if room ready having not received text in spite of two and a half hours having elapsed. Female receptionist insisting in seeing ID again which seemed utterly superfluous to requirements. When asked why I hadn't received a text she said that the "room has just this moment become ready". Amazing coincidence. ended up being late for an appointment because she was so reluctant to relinquish the key without me having to go and find my photo ID even though it was obvious I had already checked in and knew all the details.
Pros: Beautiful room, comfortable bed, great fitness center. Location was exactly what I wanted and needed for a couple of days in Sydney...close to everything! Felt safe, and was treated wonderfully by all staff.
Cons: I REALLY have an issue with the use of so many plastic water bottles. It is nice to have them in the room for many, I know...and to have them to carry around, as well. But...in the gym? C'mon. Use a filtered water system, or at least have one available so that when you run out of your own water, you can refill it without having to use yet another plastic water bottle. For the cost of the bottles and the disposal, reusable ones could probably be provided to every guest.
Pros: Simply everything. The hotel is a stones throw away from Circular Quay, and is in walking distance to the iconic Sydney Opera House. There are lots of awesome shopping venues all around; with food galore and convenience stores to choose from. There are several tours that have starting points only steps away; including ferry tours and dinner tours. I highly recommend the harbour view rooms. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. You really can't go wrong with this hotel.
Cons: Absolutely nothing not to like.
Pros: The front desk staff sent us a complimentary bottle of champagne to put room because we were celebrating our honeymoon. They even included a very nice personalive card, too!
Pros: Ideal location for visiting Sydney sites and restaurants. Helpful staff.
Pros: Location, not too expensive for a 5 star, good restaurant and breakfast buffet.
Cons: The sheets were too heavy I found, I struggled to get comfortable.
Pros: Bellmen were good, pillows
Cons: Received worst room imagined. Low floor, dirty windows, bad views, receptionist lied about restaurant open at 10PM, Burger cost $30 plus tip, water in room was $10, room was expensive at about $300/night, no loyalty program with airlines except Qantas, shower was open with no door, no microwave, no real conveniences, small room.

Pros: Clean, nice rooms , good facilities , great location
Pros: very neat and fairly large rooms. the park view is beautiful.
Cons: initially we were in a 'park view' room which did not face the park at all. you have to crane your neck out of the window to see the park. this should not be sold as park view. staff were happy to move us to a front facing room with beautiful view.

Pros: Location to International terminal
Clean and Modern
Pros: Short walk from International departures area. Can't beat the location! Quiet rooms, modern and clean.
Cons: The lighting was simply awful. There wasn't one area that was adequate. It was impossible to see to put makeup on. Besides that a bulb was burned out in one of the lights on the desk. This situation is totally unacceptable.
The drain was clogged so water flooded the floor. I had to use towels to mop it up.
Cons: That I called the day before and told them I could not make it and they gave no refund of any sort . Very disappointed in the feedback and lack,of customer focus . Will not stay at this group ever .
Pros: Location tough to beat for overnight travellers. Shuttle drops you off and walk out the door and across street to international terminal. Popped downstairs to bat for quick bite, some of the food typical pub good but had the curry and must say it was outstanding (and I'm a foodie). Staff behind bar a little aloof but they did their job. I'm Canadian so maybe we are just a little more chatty lol. Anyways place was clean, bed was great and all in all great bang for the buck. Would definitely rebook if I was flying through Sydney again. Thumbs up.
Pros: We're on a 45 country round the world honeymoon. This hotel was country #35 and the beds were sublime... so much so that it's worth talking about here. One desk service young woman gave me a free candy bar to bring me back to life after 2 days of no sleep on airplanes and guess what... she created a loyal customer for life. We are from New York and we approve this hotel fr your sydney travel!
Pros: Location to the airport is excellent - you just walk across the street. Rooms are clean and quiet.
Cons: Location is very far away from where the action is, but it did not matter too much to us, since we were heading right out the next day. No one at the front desk could give us the correct information about what bus we should take, as the trains were down that day. We were told to take the "train bus" which no one had ever heard of. We waited 45 minutes for the bus that never came.
Pros: I felt like a king. Cared for in the large well-appointed rooms. Our dinner in the restaurant was outstanding. And at a discount because of membership in the GHA hotel group. The hotel could not have been closer to the international air terminal without being in the airport itself.
Pros: Easygoing and very comfortable.
Cons: Couldn't sleep longer had to catch a flight.
Pros: This is the most convenient hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. I took a train from Sydney, got out at the International Flights stop, went up the escalator, and walked across the street to my hotel. In the morning, I walked out of the hotel door, crossed the street and there was the United ticket counter. I could see it from my hotel window. Clean, comfortable, nice front desk staff, nice staff in the upstairs restaurant.
Cons: When I went to sit in the downstairs sportsbar, the bartender told me to just sit anywhere, but then no one ever came to help me (although the waiter was helping everyone else.) I don't know if this was a miscommunication or if they were understaffed, but I finally gave up and waited for the upstairs restaurant to open. This was a pretty minor problem, given how much I appreciated this hotel!
Pros: Everything. Coffee shop, sports bar and restaurant. Great staff. Quiet, safe and glory be - late checkout.
Pros: View of the airport. Proximity to the airport. Very clean, nice hotel. Good complimentary breakfast.
Cons: Regret didn't know there was an airplane viewing area.
Situated in Mascot, this luxury hotel is 2.9 mi (4.6 km) from Marrickville Metro and within 6 mi (10 km) of University of Sydney and Marrickville Market. Enmore Theatre and Carriageworks are also within 6 mi (10 km).
Pros: I loved the extra space of having a living room to unwind in after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen and dining table was a great option when we didn't have time for a cafe breakfast. I loved having a nespresso machine in the room with daily refills.
The room was clean and modern. Service was great. The location is hard to beat. Right in the middle of tons of coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. Darling Harbor and Chinatown are just 4-5 minute walk. Town Hall subway station is just around the corner. Two grocery stores are very close by if you want to stock up on things.
The gym is great and quite extensive. There is a nice pool and sauna, although the hot tub was only like warm temperature.
Overall me and my two boys ( 9 and 11) had a great time fornthe week we were in Sydney.
Located in Sydney Central Business District, this luxury aparthotel is within 2 mi (3 km) of St Andrew’s Cathedral, Sydney Opera House, and Sydney Harbour Bridge. University of Sydney and Circular Quay are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Pros: Staff were helpful and friendly. The pool was well-maintained. It's a really convenient location to shopping and food.
Cons: Nothing really
Pros: Outstanding and polite service; rooms were serviced as we indicated a desire with the appropriate "light" and excellent Executive lounge!
Pros: Great location, some staffs were very nice and helpful
Cons: During my last day I called for Bell to pick up my belongings but I waited 15mins and no one turn up so I end up carried them down myself.

Pros: Right in the heart of Circular Quay. Walking distance to Opera House and plenty of restaurants.
Cons: It was under construction while we were there. Was not made aware of the extent of the construction. Elevators were slow and aggravating. Was there a week and never got to know any of the staff.
Pros: Fabulous location
Unbelievably GREAT views
Close to everything including public transportation
Cons: Rooms not cleaned every day
Pros: Location was great; central to both business and the local sites. Great restaurants close by. The housekeeping staff was also exceptional; you barely heard them in the morning when they started their cleaning. No loud talking in the hallways.
Cons: If I had to be picky, it would have been nice, esp in such a hot climate, to have at least two bottle of waters offered without cost.
Pros: This was a great location in Sydney....easy check in, great staff. We had access to the Concierge Lounge which was honestly one of the nicest of any Marriott Hotel I have stayed in. The gym was excellent and quite large. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Pros: Was easy to walk to the sights in the area - Opera House, Sydney Bridge, the Harbor, places to eat
Cons: "City view" really means a view of another bldg.
Pros: Location and service was stellar
Cons: Restaurant hours, elevators, concierge

Pros: The beds need replacement. Two in my room had collapsed. The hotel engineer saidthe box spring was broken, so they offered to put us in another room. I checked and sure enough the mattress was broken there too. They moved us to a beautiful suite, but the floor in the room was too slippery for the wheels and the bed would slide out from the wall while resting, and slide away when standing. The hotel admitted that it knew it had the same problem in another room and ultimately they had to remove the frame to keep it stationary. They need to be more diligent in room inspection.
Pros: Great wifi, attentive concierge, great staff all around.
Cons: Nothing negative to say, really.
Pros: Convenient location, clean, modern
Cons: There was a significant construction project blocking the front entrance and the street in front of the hotel during our stay.
Pros: Staff very helpful
Cons: No pool. No bath. Found an old shoe under the bed. Not so clean.
Pros: Free upgrade at check in to a room with a harbor view
Pros: Centrally located, spectacular water view, balcony for fresh air which is so rare for hotels these days.
Cons: The poor positioning of the shower head and shelf must be a mistake. You need to stand flush against the wall to have a shower.
Located in the Sydney*s Central Business District as well as being on the waterfront of Sydney*s Circular Quay, Hyatt Regency Sydney enjoys the close proximity to many of Sydney*s famous attractions as well as being in walking distance to some of the cities major financial and corporate instiutions.

Guests can visit the 24-hour fitness center for a workout, and freebies like breakfast and WiFi are added perks. Rooms at this upscale hotel get the details right with nice touches like iPads, premium bedding, and designer toiletries.
Pros: This hotel was comfortable and elegant. Staying over new years they gave us free champagne. However parking was overpriced for what we paid for the hotel.
Pros: There were loud noises in the morning from the room above and when I called the front desk on multiple occasions I couldn't get an answer, then received a rude explanation that it would be investigated but the noise contributed. After a $2,000 stay, I left a file and was charged to have it mailed to me. I wouldn't recommend the hotel for ease of stay, but it is clean.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was in an area with lots of restaurant choices nearby. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities.
Cons: Shower stall leaked into bathroom floor area. Pillows were very hard on the neck.
Cons: AC in room didn't work which meant the room was either hot (with AC on) or stuffy. Tried opening window, but way too noisy outside. Result bad sleep, which isn't good when you need to work hard the next day - the point of staying in a 'good' hotel on a business trip is to enable you to be rested and ready for work.
Theatres, cinemas, Chinatown, the Spanish quarter, shopping arcades, and discount stores are all within a 0.5 km radius of Rydges World Square.
Pros: Great hotel, very clean, rooms & bathroom very spacious. Felt very comfortable, &safe staying here. Good value for money, staff very helpful.
Pros: Good air conditioning Friendly host
Cons: Bad breakfast Having to pay for InternetTerrible parking
Pros: It was located in a nice area
Cons: There wasn't mich restuarants or public transport near the area
Pros: Very welcoming and friendly :)
Cons: Need a steak on the room service menu :)
Pros: The location cannot be beat. It's in a really great spot and it's priced great as well. Parking is very reasonably priced at $28/night
Cons: The 13th floor! It's also super windy on the top floors. The room service food was not great.
Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Upgraded our room and also allowed us an earlier check-in which was very much appreciated after a long, tiring flight from the US. Prompt responses to email communications by hotel management.
Pros: Central location and assessable to bus and railway stations. Short commute to business district and Circular Quay sightseeing.
Hotel was very clean. Beds were a little small compared to hotels in the states. Close to Hyde park and pretty much within walking distance to everything else. About 20 minutes (walking) to Opera House and Darling Harbor. If looking for cheap souvenirs go to Chinatown, everything there is almost 2 for one.
Pros: The staff was very polite and helpful.
Cons: Was hoping they provided microwaves so we didn't have to eat out so much.
Never never recommend this hotel to anyone. We left It was old filthy and run down. I want my money back Do you actually read this or what? I want my money back
Pros: Wretched...you said it was 3& 1/2 stars...it was a minus 2
Cons: Filthy....run down....terrible location
Pros: Very helpful staff. They held our bags free of charge when we had to check out early but were catching a plane later in the day.
Cons: Would have liked more room in the bar fridge for our own food instead of having the expensive drinks cold in there.
Pros: The location, the staff were extremely helpful, the location, and the location!
Cons: I wish the room had a desk. Also, the design is meant to look very modern/art-y, but it's slightly dated at this point. Also, the spa only had two massage jets.
Located in East Sydney, this hotel is within 2 mi (3 km) of Capitol Theatre, Sydney Opera House, and Circular Quay. University of Sydney and Sydney Harbour Bridge are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Pros: Spacious modern apartments in the heart of downtown Sydney. Given the size, facilities and location it was reasonably priced. Can definitely recommend it and will stay there again if the price is OK.
Cons: Complimentary wifi was very slow; after upgrading to the paid service it was OK by Australian standards. The lifts are also very slow and one could easily wait 5 min for a lift to show up in the morning which then stopped on every level on the way down.
