The neighbourhood is pretty good with a grocery store and a pharmacy right next to it. You also have a laundry/café place right by it. It’s right by a bunch of gay bars if that’s what your into.
This is a Hostel. People snoring are part of the pleasures.
They extra charge you when you get there. Had already payed in booking, but i should pay more because I´m not HI registered. I was tired then just did.
The hostel was a large and comfortable one that fit my early-waking up very well. They were also very accommodating and the people there were friendly and helpful. I also liked the guests and all the events organized by the hostel. It was a place where I hope to stay when I do come back... maybe not the next time as that might be too soon for their rules, but still some time.
There might have been something wrong with the air conditioner. Also... my food did disappear quite often even if marked and the laundry machine was mostly acting funny (though there sis a laundromat just a five minute walk from the hostel so that was no problem)...
It was disappointing
I had my car broken into and lost 7,000 dollars worth of electronics and clothes. This was absolutely ridiculous and there was glass in other places on the street. This has happened before and they didn’t do anything for me. Not a refund or anything other than I’m sorry.
Meeting other people
It was not clean or comfortable. People were loud and I did not sleep well a single night I was there. I also got a cell phone charger stolen.
