Nearest grocery store can be reached in a 2-minute walk, while various restaurants can be found in the surroundings. A fresh fruit market is just a couple of steps away. Breakfast can be enjoyed at the hostel, for an additional cost. A cultural centre with a cinema and a theatre is located just next to the hostel. Horseback riding can be arranged upon request, while tennis courts, saunas and massage therapies can be found 500 metres from Youth Hostel Trbovlje. Hiking tracks can be found all around the area, while rafting trips on Sava River can be arranged by the staff. Local buses stop right in front of the hostel. Pros: Friendly, nice room
Cons: Strong perfumey smell in the room
Pros: Big room with private bathroom, everything we needed for our stay in Slovenia. Kitchen facilities with places in the fridge. Very close from a Spar, bakery and only 5 min by car and 10 by bus from the train station (which can bring you to Ljubljana).
Cons: The only negative point was that Trbovlje is a small city "lost" in hills so everytime you want to go somewhere you have to do 1 or 2 hours by car. However, you can take the train to Ljubljana easily and it just takes something like 45min and your in the center of the capital.
Pros: Excellent staff, very polite young people who make great coffee :) very spacious dorm room, not noisy, very clean and tidy.
Located in Lasko, Thermana Park Laško is a 1-minute drive from Laskem Park and 5 minutes from Tabor Castle. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. This hotel has 10 meeting rooms available for events. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Staff was friendly, pool was nice, spa was comfortable
Cons: The room is not well ventilated. Food was average. Not saying the stay was not good, it just wasn’t good value for money
Cons: Pool after 9 a.m
Pros: Good personnel, everything clean, good comfort in rooms and everywhere. Keep going this way.
Cons: If possible, garage parking could be included in price of hotel.
Pros: I liked the room and the bathroom, specially the bath. The staff was lovely except for one waiter. Maybe he had a bad day. The view from the room was beautiful and so was the view in the hallways - the hotel has massive windows. The cleaning ladies were lovely and very kind. The receptionist was fun and helpful.
Cons: The room was almost like a sauna at night and I couldnt sleep because it was too hot. Ended up sleeping with an open window in January. Were very disappointed about the ways they tried to get extra money from us - 2 euros to bring TAP water to the table. After we have already paid 19 euros each for a very average all you can eat dinner (this is very expensive for Slovenia!) Upon arrival to the hotel room there was a toy in a very fragile plastic bag. For a moment, I got excited that the toy was included in the price we paid and that we will be able to give it to the kids. Then I saw a small note next to it - if your child decides to open the plastic bag we will charge you 20 euros and you can take the toy... It felt like a trap; every child that would see the toy would immediately take it out of the bag, no questions asked and just like that an extra 20 euros would be charged to the room bill. When we ordered our dinner from a la carte it took over 1hour and a half to arrive. The starter was delicious, but the main meal was bad (and I normally eat everything!)
Pros: All everything ok. Clean room
Cons: No even one mineral water bottle in the room
Pros: Good wellness and tasty breakfast.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The room was really nice :) the breakfast is quite good as well. Would have like some more sweets at breakfast but I appreciate that it has a lot of healthy choices and the fruit was good.
Cons: The church bells were quite upsetting especially when they just wouldnt stop.
Pros: Very good location - center Parking places for hotel guests available Staff very professional, kind and helpful Very clean hotel and clean rooms Comfortable rooms, clean bathroom, nice smell inside the hotel, comfortable beds Amazing breakfast (very very tasty and fresh)
Pros: Food, Location
Pros: Breakfast was superb. Loved the hotel.
Pros: Everything was great! Staff were really nice. Location is great, in the city centre. There was enough parking. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast was great but could be richer.
Located in Lasko, Rimske terme Resort is within a 15-minute drive of Laskem Park and Tabor Castle. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great looking resort with broad facilities and offer. Very nice and attentive staff - since it was Match 8th my girlfriend received a flower upon check out - nice touch! Excellent breakfast and tasty, but average choice dinner. Comfy bed and pillows. Pools are very nice and never seem crowded. Room is extremely spacious.
Cons: Our room was in newest part of the resort and therefore some oversights are really strange: 1. There are no outlets on either side of bed (only two outlets are by the table) 2. Illumination is not sufficient, nor is heating 3. Towels are paper thin and well used - well below every 4* standard And one more matter I disliked the most - hotel should differentiate atrium view rooms from outside view rooms in their offer. In my opinion guests should know this in advance (when placing reservation). Personally I'd always pay a bit more to have a view outside, especially in such beautiful surroundings this hotel has.
Pros: Very relaxing, external is very nice with walks and nice setting.
Cons: I payed 3 times more to have Jacuzzi in the room and on the end it wasnt Jacuzzi, it was just regular massage bath which didnt work well because buttons are not functional. You can tourn it on but cant tourn it of!?! On the end when I made reclamation, they granted me just -10% price...
Located in Lasko, Penzion Park is a 1-minute drive from Laskem Park and 6 minutes from Tabor Castle. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good location, nice place
Cons: It was very cold in the room. They stop the heating system starting from the morning and during the day, so when we arrived it was really cold inside. I told the manager about this and he told me they will turn on the heating... Also, during the night, I woked up, I felt it was cold, I checked the radiator and it was cold, again. So, it wasn't just a "mistake", it is the policy of this location. The breakfast was really "budget" with very little and cheap food. If you don't arrive in the early morning, you will eat only if something remains from the other guests because they don't bring anything else than the initial. In the first morning I came later and they had little food, 2-3 pieces of something. In the second morning, a couple of teens arrived later, and they didn't have what to eat. The ham and the cheese was finished ( very small quantities from the beginning), the owner took the empty plates inside the kitchen, he saw the two new persons and he didn't bring anything to eat. So this two persons ate only bread and very cheap jam. It's a pitty because the location is good, about 300 m from Terme Lasko ( if you guess the road to there- it is very narrow shortcut if you go with the car, the owner didn't tell us about this short road), the rooms are nice and decent, the price is good. Probably in the summer when they don't have to turn on the heating system, it's ok, but in the winter I don't reccomand this location, it was cold in our room.
Located in Lasko, Villa Aina Boutique Hotel is within a 5-minute drive of Laskem Park and Church of St. Martin. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and an elevator. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I stayed here one night because I wanted to visit the Lasko spa, and the receptionist told me much about it. I also bought the ticket here at the vila. It was cozy and comfortable. Parking right in front is great.
Cons: Not much to add here really.
Located in Celje, Hotel Celeia is within a 5-minute drive of Celje Castle and Museum of Recent History. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Celje? This hotel has facilities measuring 538 square feet (50 square meters), including conference space. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The room is solid value and the hotel is in a decent location. The staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant and breakfast were both very good.
Cons: The only issue I had was the noise. Even with earplugs, and being on the 4th floor, the disco with thumping bass kept me awake until after 2 a.m. both nights. The first morning there were major repairs undertaken at 6:30 a.m. I rarely complain, but this was unacceptable.
Cons: There was no table in the room to be able to work with computer.
Pros: It was really clean, staff was really nice and they accepted dogs without any problems for which I'm really thankful. Also, the room was huge!
Cons: "Double bed" was separated. It was not one big bed for 2 persons, but 2 regular ones (for 1 person) put together.
Pros: Not so far from old town
Cons: Old stile Soviet regime tipe of accommodation institution, with old stuff smell, no iron
Located in Lasko, Aqua Roma is within a 15-minute drive of Laskem Park and Tabor Castle. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and an elevator. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Food is great! Room with jacuzzi is awesome! Top
Pros: Close to Rimske terme, friendly staff, big room.
Cons: Breakfast was very basic. Poor selection.
Pros: We had a very tasty dinner plate with a grilled menu for two but also four people would eat enough. Soundproofed room with enough space for big dog.
Cons: Nothing to mention.

Pros: Great family ski resort. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff and friendly prices. Warm winter but the slopes are great. Go Golte !
Pros: Mountain view from the lobby, Arriving to the hotel by gondola, Ski-out, ski-in, Palenta in the hotel restaurant is very good.
Pros: Hotel is on the ski slopes. Perfect location! Everything is on a 4 star hotel level. The food was OK, but nothing special.
Cons: I was surprised that we had to pay 7€/day for a babycot for our 16 months old daughter, which was nowhere mentioned before....

Pros: The location
Cons: They say the towels are there but there was not:(
Pros: Nice place and nice room
Cons: Even if the hotel accept all size of dogs, the pets are not allowed in the restaurant. It's better to write it down for all future clients. Moreover, I would suggest to add a small lamp in the room, so to not turn on the main light.
Pros: Fantastic location, great staff, going beyond their job to help. Thanks to let me park my motorcycle in your garage!
Cons: Wifi slow
Pros: Location very pretty and clean hotel
Cons: The fact that dinner finishes at 5pm for me means they don't offer dinner. Given it's a long long drive up be good to have known this before.
Pros: Peaceful location, great parking, good food and very friendly staff. The very beautiful place in the woods.
Cons: Everything was good
MCC Hostel is centrally located 50 metres from the Celje Bus Station and 300 metres from the train station. The rooms at MCC Hostel have themed decorations and art. Some come with air conditioning, while all guests have access to shared bathroom facilities and communal lounge with a kitchen. The hostel also features a multifunctional hall, 2 classrooms and a computer corner. There is chill out garden behind the hostel with different sport activities and barbecue facilities. Pros: Vibrant Youth Hostel with great vibe and great personel in a great city!
Pros: Friendly staff and people in the town were very nice as well. My husband and his friend stayed and were very happy with their accommodations
Pros: Very friendly administrator, and the room was charming with nunchaks on the wall
Set on the bank of Savinja River, at the foothills of the Hum Peak, this elegant villa offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Facilities include a café with garden terrace. Vila Monet is located in Lasko’s Old Town and its comfortable rooms are equipped with minibars, flat-screen cable TV and telephones. All rooms have modern en suite bathrooms with hairdryer and shower cabin. Monet Vila offers a pleasant café that serves a daily continental breakfast and a wide selection of drinks, pastries and sweets during the day. The café opens onto a sunny terrace and the garden, which includes a playground for children. Organised excursions can be arranged by Vila Monet and the train station is only a 10-minute walk away.
Pros: 1. Very friendly personal. I came in the middle of the night. Still the lady on the receptionist was smiling, willing to help me with my bicycle I wanted to store inside. I even received "Marlenka" sweets just to feel welcomed. 2. Considering the fact, that this is quite a small pension with few rooms, breakfast was fresh and I had quite a wide choice for a small pension. 3. Room was clean and pretty big.
Cons: This is not really a negative comment, more an information for other guests.... google maps are leading you to the river and not to the hotel. You just need to go left, right after you pass the bridge... or just call the reception.
Pros: The staff was superb; very friendly and tried very hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast was lovely too. The cafe/patisserie that is also a part of the Vila has great cofee and cakes and you can ask for them in your room.
Cons: Rooms are functional and clean, but that is it. If you're looking for that additional charm - you'll be disappointed. Walls in our room and in the breakfast room have all sorts of smudges and small dirt patches on them, as if it hadn't been painted in a while. There is literally not a single painting or a poster on the walls (sound like I'm nitpicking, but you notice that straight away). The heater in the bedroom is horribly dusty and full of cobwebs and I genuinely doubt it was ever cleaned. And TV channels are all over the place; for about 20 different channels you need to manually type 72 channel numbers (a list of channels and the numbers they're on wasn't provided). All in all, quite disappointing considering all the reviews we read in advance.
Pros: I enjoyed discount for wellness as a guest of Vila.
Cons: Cold room upon arrival. Nobody never at reception.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Discount on several restaurants nearby.
Pros: The rooms are situated in a beautiful villa on the river banks, rooms are large, quiet, comfortable and very clean. Vila Monet is situated close to the city center, at a walking distance to Spa and wellness facilities of Lazko, walking distance to train station and supermarkets. Nice bakery around the corner (Elvis Pek bakery), good hiking trails in the area. The heating system was very efficient (important in winter time!). Tea room and bar on the ground floor with a lovely terrasse overlooking the river. Good breakfast. The staff and owner are very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this place!
Cons: Beautiful romantic place on the river banks

Featured amenities include express check-out, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The accommodation was very comfy.
Cons: The location stated on the listing didn't match the actual location of the accommodation. There was also no cutlery.
Pros: The central location was excellent, especially with private parking. The room was quiet. Everything was clean. The decor was tasteful with antiques and interesting art.
Pros: Good value, delicious breakfast, location, special style of the place, parking was perfect.
Cons: Nothing to mention here.
Pros: Spacious and clean room
Cons: A little humble breakfast, I missed another type of bread.
Pros: location, parking, comfortable and tidy room....
Cons: everything was fine
With a stay at Hotel Vita - Terme Dobrna in Dobrna, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Dobrna Park and Dobrna Town Hall. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The suite was big enough.
Cons: The check-in procedure took about 30 minutes. Far too long. The requests made and granted prior to arrival were not taken into account. I asked for a suite with a shower and got one with a bath tub. A change of rooms was not possible. The AC in the suited leaked, the whole room smelled of that liquid. The staff cleaned the floor soaked with AC liquid, but could not get rid of the smell. Inhaling the chemicals from the AC is a health hazard and should not be allowed. The transition between the part of the hotel where the rooms are and the part where the restaurant and the pools are should not have steps. At least there should be a ramp for disabled guests. The food in the a la cart restaurant was below average. There were only two types of low quality white wine available. A very poor offer for a 4 star hotel restaurant. The AC in the other suite we stayed in was completely inefficient. The room was very hot even at nighttime. We had to fully open the window to get some cooler air in. In the morning the church bells started to ring before 7 am, so we were woken up by them every morning. There were by far not enough loungers available for the hotel guests since they accept outside guests as well. The whole stay was very unpleasant. We shall definitely not return.
Pros: Glorious location and excellent facilities (pool etc.) Set in beautifully designed park with exercise trail. Dobrna is a beautiful village with just the basic facilities (supermarket, ATM) and no more. Plenty of activity - or possible to escape from everything in perfect peace.
Cons: The dinner buffet was nourishing but local, home cooked style. very much aimed at local customers. Most signage, information in Slovenian, German and Italian and not English. Although I don't have either of those languages we got by fine. Staff have good English
Pros: Beautiful Nature. Fresh air. Peacefully
Cons: insufficient deck chairs in the pool
Pros: Spatious room, clean, easy access to the pools and sauna.
Cons: Very small bathtub. No power sockets next to the bed. Sauna is not included in the price and the pool area is in need of some updating. Average food - a very poor offer for a four-star hotel restaurant, with a significant drop in the quality and the number of available dishes compared to two years ago.

Pros: Nice and clean place, ideal for business trip sleepover. Polite and helpful staff. Breakfast was OK.
Cons: Pretty high price for the location and modest room.
Pros: Very nice hotel. Clean room and a very good breakfast.
Cons: All was fine
Pros: Clean, beatiful, 4 private sauna with different thematics The only balcony in the hotel has the view on the Velenje castle Hotel has an interesting history... Free bus, hotel garage, movie teathre nearby. Recomended

Pros: Charming vacation. Spa Resort Roman Baths we found on the wonderful site sanatoriums.com We read the information and decided to go there for 11 days. We went and got a great rest and treatment. The rooms are huge (30-40 sq.m.) with all modern amenities. The medical base is modern. The staff is qualified and very friendly. Everyone speaks three languages. We had 28 medical procedures in the package. The appointment was determined by the doctor at the reception. The resort has three beautiful thermal pools. In one of them, unusually useful daily exercises are carried out. Food, a buffet of products supplied by local farmers, is magnificent and very diverse. There are always a lot of fruits and sweets. Good evening music programs. In general, the holiday was 100% successful. Once again, thanks to sanatoriums.com for the brilliant organization of the holidays. Alex & Svetlana
The Hotel Razgoršek is located right in the historic centre of Velenje, below the mighty medieval castle. Enjoying a quiet location at the edge of the forest, the hotel is still only a few steps away from the market square. The luxurious, individually furnished rooms and the aristocratic ambience will transport you back to another era, which the Hotel Razgoršek combines with modern comfort. The friendly staff, the elegant furnishings and the excellent cuisine make the Hotel Razgoršek an ideal choice for a stay in Velenje, which is situated in Northeastern Slovenia, about halfway between Ljubljana and Maribor.
Pros: nice location, good parking, good staff. Just under old castle
Cons: actually no compliants. What was a bit funny was style of hotel...with all old statues and paintings it looks like monastery :)
Pros: Breakfast was good but the restaurant was closed for an evening meal. However, there is a good pizzaria/restaurant about 30 seconds walk away on the other side of the car park (Piccadilly Pizzaria).
Cons: Parking is very public: OK if you are in a car, not so good for a motorcycle.
Pros: Proximity to Gorenje, Helpful staff, cleanness, private parking
Cons: Soft bed mattress, Breakfast (coffee, etc.)
Cons: Poor breakfast, they even run out of the eggs. The SIP water tank was disconnected from the electricity, so it was very warm. It is almost impossible to sleep, the bar is open up until two in the morning. the staff (mostly students) are not trained properly.
Pros: Close to the city centre. Helpful staff. Castle view.
Cons: Very limited offer at breakfast (just one kind of bread, soft-drink and sausage, burnt pancakes). Not refilled in reasonable time if depleted during breakfast hours. Squeaking door-hinges and beds. The baroque-like interior does not quite fit the overall exterior and location of the hotel.
Pros: Staff was friendly. The hotel itself has a charm and is nicely decorated.
Cons: The location is good, but it was full of trash around the hotel. Breakfast was really bad: old bread and very poor choice of ham and cheese.. and the breakfast room was not very clean. I guess the reason was a party night before, however, it is not how you want to start your day.
Pros: 1. The service and the relaxed, friendly attitude of the staff - everyone is super-helpful, and tries to meet every request. 2. The hotel atmosphere : cosy, comfortable and informal
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Old facilities, slow internet, old mattresses, no restaurant
Pros: Clean facilities, friendly staff, comfortable place, parking, position...
Pros: Very good location, lot of free parking. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and always ready to help. We have really felt as part of their family. Our sincere recommendations for this hotel.
Cons: nothing to dislike
