Friendly staff Comfortable bed Both swimming pools Good satellite channels WiFi good Modern well fitted rooms in good decorative state Clean, comfortable, functional 4 star hotel with some 5 star touches Covered secure parking Main road proximity a little noisy All pool view rooms and balconies directly overlooked by those in the opposite wing
The staff was very kind and helpful. The location next to the beach is great! The swimming pool is a joke. Don't believe the pictures on the web page!
We really liked this hotel. Definitely value for money. Situation excellent on the beach. Near hotel there is a big shopping mall.
everything was wonderful especially the staff
It's a very warm welcome hotel with helpful staff. I stayed in garden buglow. It was great! Can sit in my own terrace and listen the song of the sea. Many greens around, fresh air and good smell. I will definitely stay here again. Hotel doesn't have shuttle bus to the town, so you must walk 20 minutes or take tuk tuk at THB100. Please bring mosquito killer with you cause it's really the most terrible thing there.
Great location on beach with breakfast looking out over the sea. very small pool, fairly basic rooms for a 4 star hotel.
The location is very good just in the beach
The location is very convenient. The bed in the Garden Bungalow is very comfortable. We really like the excellent room keeping services. We will highly recommend Veranda Lodge because we enjoyed our stay in the resort. We think you should try to reduce the number of mosquitoes in the resort. The pillows are not comfortable because they lacked sufficient stuffing.Lastly, the coffee and tea my wife and I had for our daily morning breakfast is one of the worst we ever tasted in our lives but the fruit juices are very refreshing.
Very clean and comfortable & fairly quiet area. Excellent value at booking.com's price. a deluxe room (on another website) at 40% more than superior, was not such a bargain. The pool with jacuzzi was nice, and available at night! Multi-channel cable tv & WiFi worked well. There was a problem one day getting a new password. The manager-ess tried evading and obviously wanted me to politely forget it, but after I got annoyed, one of the guys in the office fairly quickly had the system working again. Apart from that one hiccup, the staff were all helpful and cheerful. Yo Restaurant, 150m directly across the railway line, has a good Thai/English menu with fresh seafood and fair prices. The big new Village Market mall with Tesco's is also close. Breakfast is a problem when they're crowded. You may need to wait for a table on busy weekends. The fruit, bread, bowls, etc., are replaced after they run out. At least the eggs are cooked freshly (but not the sausages, which go from the fridge into cooling water - doesn't seem to worry the Thai customers at all). Generally the staff did a good job without a proper kitchen to work in. The beach is not in sight. If u don't like walking, hire a car or bike - ask at reception. The train whistles were not so bad, but ask for a room not on the railway end. My card number was processed without asking, so I didn't get a chance to pay cash. I'd happily return, out of peak season. Just 500m around a corner is good US-Italian restaurant, Terrace 91.
Nothing Not near beach and dual carriageway to cross to get to beach. Hotel doors are internal doors and could have been got into with one hard push. Back of hotel is open and goes onto scrubland so anyone could have got across and access to rooms. Not a boutique hotel. Shower room so tiny you could have had a shower whilst using the toilet. Not close to town - Long walk - Windows did not lock. Paid for a balcony room but told had to pay more untill we informed them that we were checking out after one night then the offered us the balcony room - which overlooked the dual carriageway. Not a great experience. No pool which is needed
