Pros: Charming house, very nice hosts
Cons: It was a little difficult finding the door I was supposed to enter. A sign would be helpful.
Pros: Breakfast Great and location of B&B was fantastic.
Cons: Left over soap in bathroom a little bit of a put off.
Pros: Beautifully decorated rooms with all the creature comforts you expect. The hosts are very friendly and have clearly put in a lot of effort in renovating the place and making sure guests have everything they need. Delicious breakfast!
Pros: Very convenient location for those who arrive by car from Helsingborg and want to visit Louisiana. Own parking space was a plus. Lovely yard where one can enjoy breakfast.
Pros: This place was even better than the photos. It was wonderful to be able to sit in the garden, morning noon and evening, among the roses, and look out to sea. This apartment in an old building has been beautifully refurbished, keeping old style with modern comfort. Our host was vey helpful with regard to local information.
Pros: A great B&B, with a great view across to Sweden, we got a place below to park our car. We didn’t take their breakfast option. Very handy location only 8 min drive to Kronborg Castle etc. Can highly recommend it
Pros: Absolutely adorable B&B, great room, location and friendly hosts.
Cons: Only accepts cash payment, which is fine but would be useful if that information had been provided in advance. Only thin curtains so you wake up with the sun....
When you stay at Tikob Bed & Breakfast in Tikob, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Esrum Kloster and Mollegard and Danmarks Tekniske Museum. Featured amenities include laundry facilities, coffee/tea in a common area, and microwave in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Was very clean and cozy
Cons: To expensive for such a small room
Pros: It is a good value in high season. Host was very pleasant. Grocery store is across the street.
Cons: It is the first B&B I've stayed in that charges for sheets/linens and also separately for breakfast. It is more of a boarding house. For those without a car, it is 24kr ($3.60) each way and 20-30 mins on bus. Bus is 1-2/hr. No close dining options.
Pros: Janet was most helpful, providing useful local information and recommendations for sightseeing and eating. Great stay with a relaxing atmosphere
Pros: Lovely breakfast and great location
Cons: Would have preferred to have hairdryer supplied, but very minor point
Pros: Kindness of the owner
Cons: An additional and illegal fee of 30 DKK was applied for paying with credit card. This has been the first and only ocassion such a fee has been applied to us in years travelling all around Europe. The garden space devoted to guest is very limited. Bad value for money even for Danish standards.
Pros: dont know
Cons: dont know
Pros: We loved that a grocery store was right across the street and that it was a quiet neighborhood. I also loved that there were memory foam pillows and mattress pads. The outdoor terrace for dining was excellent. We were able to have my daughter's small birthday party out there. The homemade bread served at breakfast is excellent. The host is a lovely woman, ready to help with requests.
Cons: It would be nice if there were more kitchen facilities available, particularly since the breakfast menu is fairly limited. It would also be nice if the guests could enjoy more of the yard space. Especially the guests with pets.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable
Cons: Bathroom across the hall
Pros: Breakfast very good. House cat Missy was very nice and friendly.
Cons: Unfortunately no restaurant in the village but only a short drive to local seaside town where there were plenty.
Located in Snekkersten, Hotel Villa Brinkly is by the sea, a 4-minute drive from Danmarks Tekniske Museum and 6 minutes from Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Snekkersten? This hotel has 377 square feet (35 square meters) of space consisting of a conference center and a meeting room. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Cozy hotel, very personal, room decorated with style up to the smallest detail
Cons: Not the best location if you don’t have your own transportation
Cons: We were a mom & son. Mom loved it. Son wanted more action. Therefore we moved to Copenhagen
Pros: ALL - only slight minus bathroom opposite of the room - not shared but you have to leave the room - for this stay I was alone on the 1st floor so no problem.
Cons: Parking was ok upon arrival, not raining, when I left it rained extremely hard, parking was completely flooded, more than 20cm water so wet shoes/feet
Pros: Wonderful host that really make your experience special. The place is situated across the road from the beach and there’s a beautiful forest behind the hotel.
Pros: The hospitality was excellent. The guides are very friendly and helpful. The villa is about 50 m from the Danish Riviera. The seashore is unbelievable.
Cons: There isn't any fridge in the room.
Pros: It was an easy and enjoyable bike ride into Helsingor along a mainly dedicated bike lane. The hotel backs onto a forest with walking paths. The breakfast area is very inviting and nicely decorated.
Cons: There was very poor communication regarding bicycle rental and shuttle service to and from the train station. The location would be very difficult without a car or a bike. The hotel has a catering business which appeared to be a priority. The hotel’s views are not as described. There is no view of the water from the breakfast room, and the garden view room is actually a view of a paved patio.
A stay at Rungstedgaard places you in the heart of Rungsted Kyst, a 1-minute drive from Karen Blixen Museum and 13 minutes from Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Rungsted Kyst? This hotel has facilities measuring 323 square feet (400 square meters), including a conference center. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I enjoyed the location, closed to the sea. I was satisfied overall with the facility. A big plus for the parking area with the video surveillance and for the breakfast quality. Good and free coffee as well :)
Cons: The restaurant menu could be a bit more diverse.
Pros: Quiet and staff polite. Clean and welcoming.
Cons: Not enough plug points! Even where you have LAN sockets for a laptop, theres no plug point for power.
Pros: Very elegant and spacious hotel on the coast north of Copenhagen; comfortable beds; very good breakfasts; beautiful grounds - green, peaceful; good range of restaurants along harbour front; regular bus service northwards along coast (388); pleasant walk (1 km, through grounds) to train station and into the city; well located for visiting Karen Blixen museum (next door); liked the decor, the emphasis on 'green living', including flowers from garden on tables in dining room
Cons: Everything was fine
Pros: Great located directly at the marina and beach. Cozy and nice - looks like a design hotel! The breakfast was awesome!! Loved the coffee and tea station in the hotel!
Cons: The bed was not really comfortable, but ok:)
Pros: Breakfast, staff, free Coffe, very good garden
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: I was told by booking, com by email to settle my account directly with Rungstedgaard. I therefore decided to bring cash but when I approached them about payment I was advised I had already paid using my credit card when I booked. This obviously caused a lot of confusion and should had been made clear to me right from the beginning! Also, breakfast was from 7am to 10am. I was so disappointed that they cleared all the food and beverages away at 9.30am- why not just say that breakfast finishes at 9.30am and not 10 am to avoid any confusion! A male member of the cleaning personnel opened my door to my room at 8 am without knocking on the door first which caused embarrassment. I understand that the staff are busy sorting rooms out for the new guests but privacy is a very important part of the whole experience and should be highly respected.
Located in Horsholm, Kokkedal Castle Copenhagen is by the sea, within a 10-minute drive of Horsholm Kirke and Arboretet. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Planning an event in Horsholm? This hotel has facilities measuring 2153 square feet (200 square meters), including a conference center. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location is fantastic.
Cons: The room was fairly dark as the windows were small and high up. Shower water easily floods the bathroom. The floor is completely flat and there is noting to lead the water towards the drain. We did not have the cheapest room and we even purchased an upgrade and still the room was not that great. The Hotel did not make up our beds, clean the room or prepare the room for the night during a two night stay. Finally, the Swimming Pool and Spa remains a mystery to us. We assumed that hotel guests would have access to the pool based on your website but in reality it is only available for pre-booked private events as far as we could understand. We are writing this somewhat critical review in order to encourage the Hotel to work on their systems, communications and service........ the location and the facilities is an increditable asset but but it needs just a little tweeking. Having said this we do not want to discourage anyone from staying at Kokkedal. The location is great, the staff is willing ( but need a little help) and the location is good for the airport and access to Copenhagen and the area North of Copenhagen.
Pros: Themed, comfortable rooms with powerful shower Excellent restaurant Friendly staff
Pros: Nice location
Cons: Room for one person cramped with furniture and a way too large bed; hence room was quite small to move through.
Pros: It was great place with great location. Service was excellent!
Cons: The isolation of the noises was not the best possible for sure because of the old house.
Pros: Wonderful restaurant.
Cons: The swimming pool and sauna facilities are rather poor, and the rooms are disappointingly small.

The nearest airport is Copenhagen Kastrup Airport, 42 km from the property.
Pros: Everything thatch roof beautiful day lace
Pros: Close to the Fredensborg castle. The host is very kind.
Cons: Bit difficult to find. The guests need to put on sheets, quilt covers and pillowcases by themselves.
Cons: Colleague banged head on wooden beams in attic room. No one to greet us, but key in key safe.
Pros: Just look at this building! Thatched roof, an eyebrow, courtyard, parking on the rear side, fat window sills, a renovated apartment in a quiet area yet close to town and other tourist sites within easy driving distance----talk about charm. The kitchen and bathroom are nicely renovated. The living room area is comfortable. The loft bedroom with 2 twin beds was a bit hard to deal with. The low slope of the ceiling in the loft and the steep stairs to it made it hard to deal with in general but visiting the bathroom in the middle of the night or taking luggage up there was difficult. The luggage stayed on the first level which was very roomy. We still loved this place and it worked for the three of us.
Pros: Very nice appartment, nice place. Very close to Frederiksborg slot and Kronborg slot.
Cons: You have to put and take of linen your self.
Pros: Nice, clean house. Friendly owner. Not far away from supermarkets. Next to the garden/park from the Queen = a public area where you can make peaceful, beautiful walks. Very close to the Esrum lake (swimming, rowing, sailing). From Copenhague 45 km away.
Pros: Comfortable beds. Nice surroundings. Short distance to a supermarket.
Cons: One of the duvet (dyne) was dirty. Freeser would have been handy.
Pros: Very friendly owner. The park and the royal palace was beautiful.
With a stay at Comwell Borupgaard in Snekkersten, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Danmarks Tekniske Museum and Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out. This hotel has 10 meeting rooms available for events. Free valet parking is available onsite.
Cons: bathrooms are really low class, no safe, no minibar,
Pros: Lots of nice, well kept space. Park spa was wonderful. The rooms were spacious. The bar was very nice. Pets enjoyed as well!
Cons: Steam sauna could be in a better shape. Vegetarian options in restaurant could be more varied.
Pros: Breakfast was really great with plenty of organic products. The hotel is really beautiful Danish design mixture. I loved it! There are plenty of really interesting things to do and see really close by.
Cons: The spa is accessible only from 10 years on. I didn’t see that information when I booked the hotel, but I will come again anyhow. Me and my child really enjoyed the stay inspite of the lack of the spa visit.
Pros: Nice and relaxed location.
Cons: Bed comfort was terrible. Two separate foam mattresses which kept coming apart and off the bed base. Bed sheets were not fitted and did not stay on the mattress.
Pros: The hotel is lovely. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to try the spa services but saw many other guests who were enjoying them.
Cons: The restaurant was pretentious but our food didn’t live up to the pretensions. It served an inedibly chewy steak that was inedible. The waiter comped a cheese plate as a substitute.
Set in Humlebæk, 10 km from Helsingør, Villa Humlebæk offers a garden and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast offers a terrace. A bicycle rental service is available at Villa Humlebæk, while hiking and cycling can be enjoyed nearby. Copenhagen is 39 km from the accommodation, while Kastrup is 37 km away. Pros: Warmly recommended. This was such a lovely place. Clean, comfortable bed and super fresh sheets and towels, well composed interior, almost hotel like, cosy private garden, close to the sea, easy access to everything. And not the least -super sweet hosts and the best breakfast - worth every penny! <3 :)
Pros: Delicious breakfast!
Pros: Prompt answers on e-mail when we had questions and a really warm welcoming when we arrived. Lovely rooms in a bit of New England style. Very clean and very nice furbished. A nice (tiny) private garden where you can have breakfast on warm days. Fantastic breakfast! And certainly since it was not included in the prize for the room we were somewhat reluctant to add this. But we do not regret it! It really made our morning. Fresh warm bread, a lot of toppings, wonderful eco eggs, tasty orange juice and more. And special servings for the two vegetarians. And the table was so charmingly set. There is also a fabulous White guide restaurant (Sletten) within walking distance from the villa, down by the harbour, and so is the art museum Louisiana with spectacular exhibitions and views. Villa Humlebaek is easily reached with train from both Helsingborg and Köpenhamn. All in all excellent and a really memorable stay. Thank you!
Cons: To not being able to answer 'yes' when we had the great offer to stay one more night.
Pros: We had a fantastic homemade breakfast. Bread, yoghurt, jam, tomatoes, eggs and more in the tranquil front yard in the sun. The room is tastefully decorated. Well planned for smal space. Great bed. Keyless door! Make sure to book a table at close by Sletten restaurant! Explore the area by foot!
Cons: Breakfast not included in price took us by surprise. But it was worth the price. Air in room not good. Lovely host!
Pros: A wonderful little bed and breakfast. Great location in Humlebaek. Connie was incredibly nice and helpful.
Cons: sadly the breakfast was over-priced for what was available
Pros: Loved everything about our stay. And hope to come back
Cons: The beds the brackfast the heat and shower
Pros: We loved everything - the style and the decoration of the house, the private garden close to the sea, the really delicious home-made breakfast and the friendly puppy living next door.
Pros: Very nice very personal. Excellent place.
Pros: Clean. Cozy. Parking was good.
Cons: The shower had a restricted drain. The entire floor was covered in water. The shower head slipped off and broke when I slipped on the slippery floor. Room wasn't ready when I showed up so I had to leave. When I retured from dinner after 10 there was no indication about breakfast so I simply left.

Pros: Open fire, welcome, wine advice !
Cons: TV didn’t work, breakfast choice a little limited
Pros: A lovely hotel in a wonderful location with large rooms and free parking.
Cons: We found the restaurant staff unfriendly
Pros: A quite neighbour hood close to the castle
Cons: The floor was noisy in second level in main building.
Pros: Picked the Hotel because you can see the "castle" from the front yard and very handy to then walk around the gardens. Bonus was an excellent dinner menu - recommend the 5 course tasting offering. Couldn't fault the wine list nor anything about this Hotel. Building has lots of character, nice paintings, had an open fire going as well. And great staff. Plenty of onsite (free) parking.
Pros: Even the town is small, the location is superb. The building conservation and restauration and specially the chef kindness are the features that I want to remark.
Cons: The shower were to small. We checked in al 9:00 PM, and nobody were at the front desk

Cons: Would recommend adding dark liner to room curtains
Pros: We got a wonderful welcome by the staff, and they were quick to help us. The Hostel is situated in a wonderful area. We can warmly recommend this place.
Cons: Unfortunately some previous guests left some dishes in the public kitchen, so we didn't enjoy our cooking.
Pros: I loved the wonderful staff, the beautiful surroundings and the delicious breakfast! I'd recommend it to everybody and I'm definitely going back next year.
Cons: Closed in the reception from 12-15 :(
Cons: You have to make your own bed! Rooms are smelly and full of cobwebs. It is dirty! There is 1 shower and 1 toilet for 32 men! The shower is full of hair!!There are only bunk-beds. No TV in the rooms. It´s like your in the army! It really is a disgrace!!!
