Owner Messi was lovely - couldn't do enough and had excellent banter! Rooms were small, but modern and totally up to date Bar area was nice and the staff were friendly Swimming pool has a slide! Excellent Price

Location close to the main road
Too far from the beach. We booked into Yade Hotel for a short break. 3 nights. After a 30 hour flight delay, my wife used the shower and pointed out 2 problems with the bathroom. The shower door was broken and could not be shut. Water from the shower did not drain adequately and pooled around your ankles while you washed leaving grime /scum marks around your feet. The shower door was repaired, but we were told the pooling of the water was normal. ( I don't think so!) We were not given a different room. The fridge in the room did not work. The fridge door could not even close. We had an unpleasant encounter with the reception staff, who insisted on charging us for 2 nights instead of 1, although he had clearly noticed the clerical error and emailed us to point out the discrepancy, which probably means booking.com would not or should not charge them commission for the second booking. made in error. After all how could we stay in two rooms on the same night. They had emailed us pointing out, while we were in transit. They insisted on charging us the extra £16 although we had had a 30 hour delay and had already paid for a Thursday and Friday night, but had only arrived on Saturday morning. A total lack of sympathy and empathy was evident in the reception man being adamant that we should pay up for the double booking debacle. We paid in Euros and he refused to give us a receipt insisting that the acknowlegement we received from booking.com would suffice as a receipt. The receptionists's raised voice was so unpleasant that I had to remind him that I was a customer and not a combatant. What riled me most was him saying I was making a fuss over 16 quid hich would not make him rich. This then, begs the question: If £16 was nothing, why did he insist on charging us twice for an unused room, rebooked in error because I had not received the confirmation email.
