9.5 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly
Cons: The hotel breakfast was not very good - lacked variety and quality food

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff all around. The hotel was very clean. The AC in the room worked good and wasn’t overly loud. The refrigerator got good and cold.
Cons: The breakfast could have been better. It wasn’t bad by any means, but not quite up to the same level as other hotels in the same price range. I had to go to my doctor after returning home from vacation for a tennis shot. I found the carpet tack strip at the bathroom threshold with one of my big toes and it cut pretty good. I reported to staff the next morning and they fixed it while we was out exploring that day.

Pros: Quiet and comfortable. Very nice staff. Room was clean and had very nice kitchen Area.
Cons: No breakfast, but they offered one delivered to room for a small price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was so much space in the room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is clean and the rooms have full kitchens and are spacious. The registration desk is well staffed and the employees were friendly and prompt.
Cons: Unfortunately I didn’t do my research and was surprised there was no breakfast served and also no on site exercise room. The hotel did offer complimentary passes to a local fitness center which is nice for actual long term guests.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: New facility and everything looks nice. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Wish they would have explained better when making my reservations that they only clean every 4 days and that means towels and washcloths. However they do supply them if you ask. Wish they would supply a light weight blanket instead of the heavy quilt.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: My place was a great very clean hotel with kitchenette and close to downtown Marquette.
Cons: would have rated it 5 out of 5 except for the fact that when we went to use the kitchen utensils, plates and cups we found none. Perhaps they forgot to stock our room?
7.5 Good
Pros: Less expensive than the competition and all was fine
Cons: Dull location, but so are the competitors...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff made it special for our honeymoon stay! (Shout our to the staff that made our swans and heart for our bed!) The staff were extremely helpful, sweet, & go above and beyond! ❤️ We will return to My Place in Marquette when we are back in the area. They accommodate you when needed, always friendly with a smile, & great with recommendations! Comfy beds, VERY clean & extremely quiet. Thank you to ALL of the staff!!!!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: It was super clean and new. The staff was very friendly. They only do housekeeping once every 4 days which is actually good— less wasteful. But if you need anything in between you can get it.
Cons: The only complaint I have is that the pillows were too soft and I had trouble sleeping. But that’s kind of a personal preference.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was brand new!! The rooms were excellent! They have a 2 burner stove, a full size refrigerator, and a microwave in them. The bed and pillows were comfortable! We had a recliner chair which was an added bonus! Staff was very friendly. They have laundry available for guest use.
Cons: They could have used a couple of more washers and dryers for guest. Seems like everyone in the hotel decided to do laundry at the same time. The only thing missing was a pool and hot tub.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean, neat, basic kitchen
Cons: Too easy to hear the person above me walk around. Difficult to sleep as I am a light sleeper.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I did not like anything. Used a driveway with another Hotel. No manager on duty. The bed was as soft as a marshmallow. Pillows were the same. Toilet to low and round, should be higher and elongated. Tub was terrible to get into. We spent the 4 nights on the recliners. ( I requested another to be moved into the room). When I checked out they noted I could of received my money back for 3 of the 4 nights and found another place. I noted in the end that I will not be back to any hotel with the parent company and this hotel. It stinks! Have an awesome day.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable & the room was very clean.
Cons: Rooms have kitchenettes, which is the main reason we stayed here; however, you are provided with NOTHING to cook or eat your meals...no dishes or cooking or eating utensils. We don’t travel with these items &, since the hotel doesn’t provide free breakfast, we had to eat all of our meals out. Also, we were supposed to have a recliner in our room & we had none.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent! Rooms are much larger than any we have stayed in with 2 beds. Breakfast was much better than anticipated. Parking was very good. We will definitely be back!
Cons: Bathroom was a bit small, but it worked. I would have liked towels that were a little thicker - they were thin and cheap.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. My 1st time staying here and it will not be my last... Bathroom clean room had work surface, fridge and coffee maker. Had breakfast room but I didn't partake.
Cons: Everything was great
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a great place!!! For our fellow motorcycle brothers and sisters-they have a Bike-wash station at the motel!
7.5 Good
Cons: The air was not on when we checked in so the room smelled musty. That was not a good first impression.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was very limited.
Cons: More variety on breakfast bar
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was excellent, clean and comfortable
Cons: The room had a bit of a musty smell. Like it needed airing out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful atmosphere.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff super kind, though booking though this site is more expensive than booking direct. As evidenced by fees for a single on the back of the motel room door. Though BOOKING.COM says booking is refundable until day of arrival this is not true. I wish I had taken a screenshot!
Cons: 1. Very dated decor and not impeccable housecleaning (hairs on bathroom floor and some kind of wet mess on the carpeting in front of the sink. Don’t normally go barefoot in a hotel and this reinforced why on my first night there. Used A/C to dry it out though I hate A/C. ) 2. Breakfast was a disappointment - it was merely a gas station breakfast -if that- and on the second day of my stay and checkout day it wasn’t ready at 7:00am, the “hostess” got there at 6:55.No coffee for 20 more minutes ... granted I could have made coffee in my room, what’s the point if it supposed to be available?

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The setting was lovely & convenient! The office staff was exceptionally helpful & friendly!
Cons: Lots of smokers outside our door & it was our 1st experience with the “doggie surcharge”! We were charged $10 US the night before. Something you must accept if you’re traveling with an animal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large room. Comfortable beds. Convenient location. Friendly owners and staff.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location and pretty baskets of hanging flowers. Nice wooden deck overlooking picnic table area.
Cons: Room had an odor, breakfast was not a hot breakfast, it was packaged rolls and bars. Old motel, felt like something from 60s or 70s.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Seemed overpriced. No elevator. No 1st floor room available when I asked
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean, friendly staff
Cons: Smoking
7.0 Good
Pros: It was adequate for the price.
Cons: Honestly, we had to make the reservation at the last minute. As we were in a rush we did not have the time to research the exact location of the hotel - we wanted to stay within walking distance to downtown. Although your website showed the distance of certain landmarks from the hotel, no mention was made of downtown. As this was our first stay in Marquette, we had no idea of the layout of the town and therefore had no information on which to quickly make a fairly accurate assessment of your location. Instead, we were forced to make an incorrect assumption. Inclusion of the number of miles to Downtown on the website would have avoided this misunderstanding.

Pros: It was clean and the beds were comfortable.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Not much of any breakfast, coffee and cereal was about it
6.0 Good
Cons: The rooms are old looking. They let items run out at breakfast before refilling them
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly. It was an easy check in. Room was perfect. Bed was so comfortable. View from window sucked (back parking lot) but we closed the curtains anyways. Coffee was always on hand & hot, so good too! Breakfast had so many choices. Swimming pool was great, had an adult hot tub which we used 2x. Lots of amazing places to eat where close to the hotel, even walking distance. I’d definitely stay again.
Cons: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great hot tub gazebo. Good value.
Cons: The pillows were like small rocks, very tiny bathroom, basic breakfast, and carpet/walls need to be updated.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Room was small, comforter was dirty, carpet was filthy, just icky. Price WAY TOO MUcH for such a poor facility! Breakfast was so-so.
6.8 Good
Pros: The room itself met our expectations.
Cons: There was no view from our floor level room. The hot tub house obscured any view we may have had. The smell of tar permeated the property as the parking lot was being seal coated so subsequently, we had to park in the adjacent hotel parking lot. Finally, the breakfast was lacking in hot choices.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was really good and the bed and pull out were really soft and nice and the workers were super nice and the hot tub was fun
Cons: The fan remained constant in the bathroom

4.0 Okay

7.5 Good
Pros: Bed and pillows very good.
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like. Short walk to the do
4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was very accommodating.
Cons: This should not be listed as a 3 star hotel. First of all, this hotel seems to be very old. They were going to put us on a 2nd floor room with no elevators. There should be a warning before you book when a hotel has more than 1 floor and no elevator.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Clean, nice room
Cons: Price, a little high
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful beds, room was clean. Friendly staff when I called with questions before check in.
Cons: One thing which would have been nice is if we were told our room location at check in. It was on the other end of the hotel which had its own entrance near it. If we knew, we would have parked by that door instead of lugging our bags down the long hallway
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: That we were not told how late pool was opened or close and also was not told about room service their was nothing in our restaurant room that told us anything

1.0 Poor
Pros: The room was hot and air was broken I reported it but nothing it was 72 when we checked in and 77 at check out, I like nothing
6.3 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff, nice location, pat friendly. Clean.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The staff was friendly.
Cons: The sheets were with crusted boogers. The staff gave us clean sheets to change ourselves. The breakfast was not edible. The man on the evening shift said they had run out of fruit already for the week. It was Wednesday. There are grocery stores near by. The management should allow staff to restock when needed. The bathroom was so small it was hard to close the door to sit on the toilet.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location!
Cons: Limited breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location for my needs.

4.5 Okay
Pros: The beds were pretty comfortable and the t.v. was good quality to watch from.
Cons: The security and noise was horrible here! The exterior door closest to our room was not locked during the day or evening hours. Our room was close to this door and every time the door opened it slammed shut and was very loud. Our room door also had gaps in it at both the top and bottom, appearing as though the door did not fit in the door frame. We could clearly see the carpeting in the hallway, looking out bottom of door. The plate that holds the safety latch on the door was also coming loose. Just an all around safety and comfort concern.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location next to the casino.
Cons: Improve shower.
7.5 Good
Pros: This year the pool was fixe but the jaw was down
7.5 Good
Pros: the staff were friendly, everything was as advertised. it is quite a shabby building, if folk like something a little more upscale. I was perfectly happy for the night I was there.
Cons: The actual building and rooms are a little shabby and I had one with no outside window. The bathroom was tiny. If you were feeling depressed this might depress you.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: The carpet was stained and the breakfast was horrible. The waffle makers didn’t even cook the waffle mix, it took 3 times to cook the same waffle and even then it still wasn’t fully cooked. We told the office that our sink was clogged and the toilet didn’t want to flush all the way. They didn’t do anything about it for our two day stay. Some of the towels were stained as well.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff. They were very nice.
Cons: 1) Only one mirror, & its a half-mirror in the bathroom. Needs a full length in the room. 2) Side-entrance door is super loud and heavy, causing our room's door to rattle, waking us up every time it was used. 3) Low water pressure in shower and faucet
4.3 Okay
Pros: It was only for 1 night
Cons: Advertised hot tub working not (structurally board up) long term...back area ( for smokers ( we are not) very dirty (only patio with chairs and table)...Pool area not appealing at all...noisy rooms... no coffee in the morning... the receptionist tried her best...Just too busy...basic continental breakfast
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: hot tub was out of service, the website did not say it was down for repair, ceiling tiles in the room had mold
5.5 Okay
Pros: The staff was very friendly Breakfast till 9:30
Cons: The bedrooms have no window to outside (!!), just to an inside corridor. The possibility to let fresh air in my bedroom is for me as basic as a bed, thus this hotel was not suitable for us, even for one night.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We were satisfied for the room. We were looking for something that wasn't too fancy, or expensive. The room was reasonably spacious, and it was clean.
Cons: We were close to an exit door that lead to the parking lot. This door slammed very loudly and that make it hard to sleep, especially in the morning when some folks were up early to go to work.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room itself was large and had a comfortable king size bed. TV good. Room was clean.
Cons: Hallway on first floor dirty. Breakfast has poor selection. Too much money for this hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We got there really late. The staff was quick about getting us settled. Our room looked and felt like a top end hotel. We didn’t eat breakfast but what I saw was enough to put something decent in your belly. I was very excited to see the nice fluffy pillows. I usually need two. I only needed one. I would give it 10 stars.
