9.5 Excellent (307 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The park is beautiful, as well as the room and the warming owner. Breakfast delicious> top! Thank you so much we had an amazing weekend!
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was very nice, but it needs to have a car in order to reach the historical center of Brugge. The lady who owns the guesthouse is very kind.
Cons: Check in starts at 16:00 and check out finishes at 11:00.Breakfast time is too early probably because of the very early check out.The room was not that clean (the blanket for our daughter had a spot and we also found a used piece of cotton make up remover).Breakfast was ok.No WiFi connection in our room.We had to find out by ourselves how the heating radiator works.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing romantic place
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Enormous, excellent kept stately garden all around, building respefectfully refurbished, very good breakfast, very friendly and personal welcome and stay, location within a minute from the E-40 to Bruges, Calais, ....
Cons: If anything to mention: curtains not being all sun or light proof, which is only a disadvantage for those waking up by the first sunray in the room. But that's detail critics and does not affect to the overall excellent experience.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had the most wonderful stay here. It was quiet and convenient to Brugge and Ypre. Lies was a most accommodating host with a beautiful breakfast and her attention to detail. It is worth staying just for the gardens.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely breathtakingly stunning! The owner was magical.
Cons: Nothing!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It is charming, cozy and super clean! The garden is a treat, the house is fantastic! It is not for someone who loves modern clean places but if you love romance and vintage, you will feel like in heaven. We did :)
Cons: The highway is quite close by so you hear the noise, on the other hand it is easy to get to and Brugge is really close by.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had the romantic room 'guirlande d'amour'. Nicely decorated, fireplace was on when we arrived, very comfy beds. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit salad, fruit juice, eggs to your prefrence, and variety of breads and rolls. Hostess was extremely friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything ! The welcome, the atmosphere, the room, the scenery, the location, the breakfast... Strongly recommend !
Cons: Lemme think about it for a few months...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful, romantic place near Brugges but in a quiet, close to the forest area. The house is very beautiful, with a lot of small elegant details. But the yard is the main attraction point of this B&B. Liz, the owner, has put her soul into decorating and maintaining the huge garden. It has a lot of different areas, like a labyrinth and it makes you feel like Alice in Wonderland while wandering around and asking what you'll discover next! The breakfast is included and it is fresh and generous. Both hosts are helpful and try to make you feel at home. Definitely worth the money!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was amazing, and so was the accommodation. Christine the host was very friendly and welcoming. I will defiantly recommend this place to everyone!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent five wonderful days at Christine's charming b&b. For our main goal - to visit Bruges - this was the perfect starting point. The breakfast was superb - every morning Christine suprised us with little extras or fresh fruits. Our spacious room was most tastefully decorated - the perfect place to come home to after long walks through medieval Bruges. Our dog was warmly welcomend too and enjoyed the surrounding countryside as a nice contrast to the crowded city. In the morning Christine gave us superb insider tips for must-do's and nice places in Bruges and the "Ommeland". She also told us where to park our car when we went to Bruges. Since there are several parking areas with low or no fees at all, staying outside of the town isn't really a disadvantage. From the first moment on we felt that everything Christine does she does with love. We highly recommend this charming place and will certainly return to her fabulous hide-away!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Situated in a beautiful area, close to Bruges and the coast. Wonderful host, super breakfast and comfy room. Extremely dog friendly, super relaxed to be with the dogs here as the environment is safe and all the guests and host genuinely adore dogs. One of our best holiday stay. Would definitwly like to return.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast and the hospitality were magnificent, and the location brilliant if one wanted peace and tranquility, and lovely views. The information on the local are and communication beforehand from our hostess Cristina was amazing.
Cons: The only change I would make is that the sheets on the bed needed ( for me ) to be of a higher quality - but that's minor
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, beyond any expectations. And I mean, both for food and atmosphere. Lovely landscape, friendliness and relax.
Cons: Just to make De Vossenbarm perfect, I'd suggest to improve acoustic insulation of the rooms. If other clients move during the night, it is not perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fabulous. Christine was an excellent host and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Well positioned for my proposed itinerary. Excellent breakfasts. Informative and helpful hostess.
Cons: Cannot really think of anything!

7.0 Good
Pros: the bed was comfy, the bus stop very close and easy to go to the city, the cafe bar where one get the breakfast also nice and the breakfast was good.
Cons: Well, next time I will check all uploaded photos and zoom in... in this room the toilet is in the corridor, I mean, if you enter to the room, you almost face with the toilet, without wall or door. There is only a white folding screen. So, if you have a partner with you and you would like to some intimacy during using the toilet, use the ground floor's. The stairway to the room stiff climb, so if you have heavy/big luggage, go to another room. The heating system's switch didn't work, so we couldn't adjust lower the heating. It was very hot in the room during the evening and the heating system was noisy. We opened the window to get some cool air. Hopefully, the switch already repaired. Parking can be tricky if there is a bigger car already in the "garden".

Pros: Beautiful bathroom and great location. So close to Brugge but I’m a nice quiet area
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Extremely charming atmosphere, very friendly owners and close distance to Bruges by car.

Pros: Our room was super comfortable. Location is convenient. There is a bus stop just in front of the building for going to Brugge in 15 minutes or you can go with your car in 5-10 minutes. Our host was very kind and gave us tips for going around the city. House was tastely decorated and cute.
Cons: In our room, wc and shower were open inside the room. It might be a little weird if you are travelling with someone you are not comfortable with.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owners were very helpful with tourist information, made to order eggs for breakfast and homemade jams!
10.0 Excellent

Cons: That we didnt stay longer

Pros: The host Danial, was the besr ever in all my 100s of travels. Told us what to see and which restaurant to eat at.
Cons: Basic facilities but that is what we paid for so no complaintd
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was incredible - the breads and croissants, meat, cheeses, eggs, juice, coffee and tea were fresh and very tasty. We also had lunch at Enroute367 -it was delicious - we had spagehetti bolognese (very meaty and flavourful) and salad with amazing dressing (I think it may have been green goddess) and quiche (flacky and full of goodness) - great portion sizes. Our room was delightful - bed was comfortable - amazing soaker tub (great for after the long day of walking) - the room is great for 2 or 3 people. Everyone was very friendly and helpful towards us - excellent customer service. If you dont go to stay - go for a meal at least, you will not be disappointed!
Cons: Cant think of anything - if we are ever back in that area Enroute 367 would be our "go to" for sure.

They are happy to give suggestions of places to visit, where to eat as well as where to park when visiting Bruges. We liked that the B&B was close to Bruges but not in it. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners so friendly
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Greet and Paul were the best hosts! They were both very hospitable and my daughter and I really enjoyed getting to know them. We stayed here as we explored Bruges and attended the Christmas market. They greeted us upon arrival and even offered to pick us up from the bus. A cup of tea was welcomed after a long day of travel and we got to enjoy so many Flemish treats with explanations as to each - we learned a lot! The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfasts - wow! There was a lot of thought put into the food - both in presentation and what was served. It was really appreciated. I gave 4 stars to the location, only because we were travelling by bus (no car) and this made things a bit tricky, especially on Sunday when bus service is more limited. However, it was great to also get out into the country and explore a typical Belgian neighbourhood, so we just looked on it as an adventure! If you had a car, it would be no problem whatsoever. And really, it wasn’t a problem for us either since Greet and Paul more than made up for the inconvenience of trudging to the bus. Thanks Greet and Paul!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was like home from home... Friendly and peaceful. Grace and Paul were excellent hosts and made you feel very welcome. We had a lovely time in Ostend and Bruges
Cons: The only thing I can think of is the heating wasn't hot enough but I am always cold.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and tidy and nice breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I enjoyed our stay here from beginning to end. We had the ground floor room which is spacious and modern. The owners of the B&B are an older couple and very friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The bed is comfortable, the room and bathroom basic but more than enough! The breakfast is simply AMAZING and sumptuous! They use only local products and if you're lucky home made marmelade. The couple themselves love to travel as well so if you want you can share wonderful travel stories. Location from the B&B to the old city of Bruges is good but you do have to have your own car which will bring you in about 15 minutes to a parking garage on the edge of the old city. All in all we can definitely recommend this location!
Cons: I'm sure if I search hard enough I could find something....but why would I? Our stay was wonderful and the owners extremely nice and hospitable!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant and helpful owners
Cons: Nothing

7.0 Good
Pros: Good location, good internet, good wine shop, some toys for kids in front of house
Cons: Low room isolation / no towels / beddings long time in use
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely big room and bathroom, very modern facilities, looking out over the garden, huge comfortable bed, separate entrance for guests so could come and go as we pleased. Walked into town for beers and a Thai meal and strolled back in the semi darkness, about 15 min flat walk. Compared to the ibis budget in town which was more expensive and very very basic, it was excellent value.
Cons: We were woken up by tractors at 6am going along the field at the back of the property which was fine for us as we were leaving at 6.30. Would only happen certain times of the year.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely home from home. Warm and clean. Easy parking and plenty of space.
Cons: No oven or toaster but wasn't a huge issue.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: no tv in the room thnks G-D very friendly host a refreshing touché of farm life
Cons: weak stream in the douche. no nearby shopping facilities
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was only 10 minutes to where we needed to be at so that was good. Restaurants and grocery stores (Aldi) was about 10 minutes drive. There is a restaurant on premises but we did not eat there so can't really give it a recommendation. There is also a wine store attached to the hotel. The room (whole apartment) was spacious for a family of four. Parking lot was good. Go-karts were a great addition!
Cons: Had a kitchen but no oven. There are no towels provided by the hotel that I saw. Luckily, I read about it prior to booking so I knew to bring my own towels. Stair to the loft is bit steep so be careful if you have young ones.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location in greenary. Comfortable stay. Helpful host.
Cons: Provision of more kichenetts like toaster, freezer compartment in fridge etc would have been better.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for traveling from the coast to Brussels over 4 days. Beautiful and modern farm with sheep, horses, and cows viewable in neighboring fields. Easy to find, park, communicate with the host, and even a great place for my toddler to play in an outdoor play home and bikes to ride. Fully equipped kitchen (no stove) and a lovely large bathroom with walk in shower. The beds are very comfortable and the furniture is nice as well. We would stay here again!
Cons: The house was wonderful and clean! The only items that we that needed to be cleaned before used were the dishes. They seemed to have some dirt/dust residue on them. The sound proofing is also a little soft and I have a toddler so I'm sure the neighbors didn't love us.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The surrounding were amazing, rooms were well sized, well decorated, comfortable and fit for purpose. Local supermarket within 3min drive. Staff were friendly and anything needed was provided e.g. More pillows etc. Got left alone with no interference, no paperwork and was expecting us.
Cons: Slightly limited kitchen equipment, no stove or freezer.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: There was lots of space and we were left in peace to enjoy our stay. Absolutely perfect for us!
Cons: We didn't realise that towels weren't provided until we got there, so it would've been good to have been told that in advance.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Liked many aspects of the location, service, food, etc.,

Cons: nothing
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Cute room on first floor at the rear of modern bungalow. Nice little village with some good bars and nice restaurant.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely quiet surroundings, the furniture in the apartment was interesting & unusual. The hostess Dominique is helpful & informative. Nice big bed, plentiful continental breakfast. Balcony a bonus in good weather. Adorable little dog!
Cons: No guardrail at front of balcony could be dangerous. Bathroom has no door or ventilation so apartment gets a bit steamed up after a shower, not helped by window not having facility to open . Wi-fi signal is very poor, fortunately our phone signals were good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Next to main village road, but still quiet. Friendly owner.
Cons: Some handrails would be useful on the first floor balcony. Looks interesting, but I am sure it is slippery when wet.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excelent and calm location! Super cosy room, confortable bed! Awesome breakfast! (Home made Bread amazing) And finally, very nice and trully kind owner, this lady makes you feel at home every single moment. The pretty Zorba (a Jack Russel) comes greeting you at the gate.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hospitality of the owner and visinity
Cons: Everything was good
4.3 Okay
Cons: The room has no door to the toilet given there is no hall area between the bed and the toilet so basically, the person in the room will "enjoy" all the pleasantries of another one being in the toilet! Particularly lovely for couples' romantic atmosphere. :((( the entrance to the studio is upstairs, not protected by any fence so at night it was particularly dangerous to walk up and down the stairs. Despite this, the owner strongly recommended to not let the outside lamp on as the light would have bothered someone on the ground floor; funny thing is that underneath the stairs there was just the owner's bathroom so not sure how the light could have bothered anyone unless she didn't sleep in the bath tub. The real reason was very simple - the owner tries to cut costs of absolutely everything! The second proof of this was no heating in the room, it basically stopped after 5 min of work as a thermostat was apparently set on 15 degrees. It was a cold night and the walls were very thin so I had to go downstairs to ask for a portable heater (was asked to not put it on maximum though). Pillows was very uncomfortable, we were lucky having our own ones with us. There were no toiletries (almost empty dispensers, half roll (!) of toilet paper. Please, don't count on breakfast at this premise! For 2 people we got 2 eggs, butter and lots of bread. My husband asked an orange juice but got an expired peach juice. He could have been easily poisoned. Again, the owner is extremely stingy and try to get max profit from the room booking. And the worst part of this stay is the owner's inappropriate comments. After I gave her place a good rate (despite all issues) she sent me a very rude email, see the prints teen attached. Terrible experience, I strongly recommend to stay away from this studio.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was very amenable. Lovely breakfast.
Cons: Metal staircase up to the room could be tricky for less-abled visitors.

Pros: It was just perfect for our stopover on the way back from Köln and was wonderfully peaceful after an apartment in the middle of a noisy city. The room was large and clean with a lovely view across the Belgian countryside. It was close to Bruges which is where we went but I’d like to return to explore the surrounding area. On our way to Calais we stopped in Dijksmuide and looked around Dodengang which was interesting as well as moving. I should also mention that the breakfast was excellent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed being able to have a well cooked, reasonably priced, evening meal on the premises. The tourist information was very helpful.
Cons: The room was a bit tired; and the toilet cistern was noisey.

Cons: Bedroom surfaces were a bit dusty
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient stop-off location. Room was a little basic but warm and comfortable. Meals were fine.
Cons: Nothing really.

6.8 Good
Pros: Very friendly and attentive service. Excellent meal.
Cons: Mosquitoes plentiful in the bedroom (we didn't expect this in November although the weather was extremely damp). We each came away with more than a dozen bites which worsened as the holiday progressed!

Pros: Very welcoming proprietor. A lovely hotel, very well appointed with comfortable clean room. Very convenient location just off the motorway, but feels away from it all. The evening meal was excellent.
Cons: There was no record of my booking, although, fortunately there were rooms available. The breakfast buffet selection was rather limited, although the quality was fine. Rather expensive.
7.2 Good
Pros: A warm welcome and excellent service in a building full of character. My family and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. The character of the building, the statues in the grounds, the gaggle of geese at the bottom of the garden and the ample parking space all went together to make a very enjoyable weekend break.
