Quiteness and view I reserved a suite and I expected a sea-view, but it was parking-view :( I tried to change also all suites had no view. so I had to pay extra to take the Regency Boutique suite. The receptionist deducted duble my stay amount,which was not accepted from my creditcard,which left nothing to my limit.

View 1- Air conditioners do not work. Only heaters. The weather was quiet warm and we had to sweat all night long , 2- No blackout curtains. sun penetrates the room in the very early morning.not acceptable for a 5 star hotel 3- people shouting and screaming in the terrace under our room...what happened to clients servicing?

Nothing, it wasn't what I expected out of a 5 start hotel, I booked a suit and it was dirty! I couldn't really believe a 5 star hotel would be that bad, I checked booking.com reviews but I was like maybe its few people!!! It was over priced, poor staff, as a person who worked in 4 and 5 star hotels, this must be the worst experience ever!! Money isn't the issue hence the suit I booked, but a dirty suite? Come on, I wonder how they got 5 stars!

The location They call their room "Deluxe" when it should be called "standard", I had an old crappy room, the bathroom was not very clean and they used an old-fashion plastic curtain for the bathtub/shower!!! Very dark. No wireless internet, only wired in the room, with a tiny ridiculous 20cm cable, for $5/hour. It's not worth the $200 I paid. Very disappointed.

The service of breakfast Buffett staff is excellent and make you feel good in the morning specially Nadia & Rony The furniture & curtains are tired, the bed sheets were not changed although we stayed 7 !

The Hotel is in an excellent location close to nearby night spots and great restaurants. The reception is nice and warm and in the evening a pianist adds a romantic touch... I particularly enjoyed the Pub on the Mezzanine floor where they serve very good cocktails. The hotel caters to a wide range of customers of various backgrounds and nationalities. I met the Hotel Owner who takes a personal interest in keeping the hotel customers happy and comfortable. My room was very comfortable and clean. I have stayed in various nearby hotels in the past, but i can honestly say Princessa is by far the best hotel in the area, and I will definitely return for a longer stay.
The hotel look nice from outside, and its near the beach breakfast was very poor, no ambiance, the hotel was empty, mirror in my room was broken, the maintenance is very bad. Taxi driver informed me that its a kind of hotel frequented by women for very short stay....
The location is perfect. Beach, mountain, downtown, north, byblos all places are easily accesible.. My room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was very poor !! The hotel needs to provide informative leaflets regarding tourist attractions nearby or places to visit..
Arriving in Beirut for the first time i found the Princessa Hotel to be very welcoming and luxurious. my room was spacious, comfortable and clean with beautiful views over the Med. Room service was promt and was nice to have a selection of both International and oriental cuisine. Special thanks goes out to Paul and Rabih at the front desk who made me very welcome. As a suggestion, not a complaint, greater selection of exotic fruit along side the local fruit at breakfast.
Excellent service, there is something special about this hotel, it is owned and managed by a Lebanese family that have spent most of their life abroad, so they know exactly what customer service is all about. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Excellent customer service. The receptioin staff, door men, house keeping were all just perfect. The hotel was in the middle of Kaslik yet on the beach with a great recreation area. The food and drink's prices could be lower 10-15%.
clean and calm hotel slow service ,you should ask twice or three time for each demand,the refrigerator is so slow to cool subject and contain no freezer part,the saftey box in the room was broken, 2 out of 3 lamp in the room was not working, the rooms need more illumination,overdo security as such that you feel that you are in security place, some of the staffs are frown,internet service is bad,they gave me a code which worked for just half an hour,taxi driver is not so polite and he became angry when he knows that i make a voucher although that i paid 25$ and he starts to slur when he saw the voucher !!

The rooms were small. Rooms you get at the lower rates are not sea-view (they have no view at all). Breakfast is expensive.
i liked the room,the view,the location and the food was good,whenever we ordered from the room service,the food came on time. the lobby is horrible,so so small and so close to the main entrance,you would feel the chill of the wind as you check in and out sometimes the doors don't shut properly becouse of the wind.one resturent was closed all the time.the health club was poorly equipped,i had to go some where else to exercise for what they where charging for the suite,i expected much more,can find better places at that rate.

Location The location of the hotel is very close to the Jounieh old city, i visited on foot. Close to the highway and easy to find. Hotel did not have an ironing board, i was given an broken iron and told to use the bed as an ironing board. So i sent my clothes to be pressed instead, which cost $50 USD. No blow-dryer in the room. When i asked for one they said they did not have. Then on the last day while checking out, i mentioned this fact, and the response was "We have blow-dryer, you should have asked"...Really? Staff could not communicate properly with my partner who is anglophone...good thing i can speak a little Lebanese. We booked a room with 2 beds, breakfast, and a sea view...instead we were given a room with a view to the neighbors (they call it mountain view). We had no breakfast included, and had a king size bed..which they later split to two single beds. The location of the hotel does not allow for a mountain view or a sea view, so do not be deceived with the additional cost for such views. The hotel faces north and south from either way...the Mountain and the sea are West and East. It is good enough for someone travelling on business and wants something cheap. Or someone that needs to rent a hotel room for casual intercourse. Otherwise, it is not recommended for someone travelling in a couple for recreation.
There are a hotel role says its not aloud to inter the pool area at night for the restaurant there because am wearing my abayah (a traditional dress women wares in gulf country) that I can except in a non Arabic country but not in an Arabic wish know our culture

when i checked-in the hotel did not have my room ready eaven thou i called and sent an e-mail to duble-check and also conferm my reservation when i came from a long trip the hotel keept my wating for 2 houers and then the said we are sorry because we are over-booked and they put me in a suit with some friends for lack of rooms ...... thats somthing i did not accept yes the over-booked story and the 2 houer wait even i came after midnight

The hotel ambience and facilities Yes, fiirst of all, the front desk service is very poor and the staff is totaly unqualified for such five star hotel. Secondly, I've never seen a hotel that charges its guests for the valet parking.

The Amethyst pool area is amazing. feels really VIP and the staff there treat you like royalty and make the effort to talk to you. Pool service is a little slow.
