10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at the Heidelberg. We loved our room, it was warm and comfy and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and warm. The highlight was hanging by the amazing fireplace sipping a red and looking up at the huge Californian bear! Great restaurants and shops just down the road. Although we weren't brave enough to get in the hot tub, the view from there was mind blowing. The weather was freezing and snowy and the gorgeous views we awoke to of soaring granite mountains, snow covered rooftops and freshly cleared streets was just amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I hope that one day we can return.
Cons: Only issue was finding the property, but this is a maps issue. Make sure you double check the map and address before heading off.

Pros: Kids liked the loft. Location was nice and it felt comfortable.

Pros: Location amazing! Nice views of June Lake.
Cons: Several light bulbs were burnt out, door to master didn't close well.

Pros: The beds were comfortable. Liked that it was within walking distance to some great places to eat. Loved the view of the lake
Cons: A lot of lights didnt work. Had to use wood burning stove cause power was out for 4 1/2 hours so we couldn't make coffee, use the heater, watch t.v. very annoying when your on vacation, , every time we opened door to fireplace set smoke alarm off.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: View of lake and location
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Cons: The beds and linens are old and need replacing. The bathrooms can use an upgrade. The carpets are worn out. I have stayed in this unit 10 years ago and noting has been upgraded.
7.5 Good
Pros: The cleaning crew did a good job of cleaning the place. The condo is close to everything - dining, hiking, water activities. All comforts of home were available (except Internet and cable). The master bedroom and bathroom were excellent.
Cons: Guest bathroom has a smell, like sewage- possible plumbing issue?? Internet and cable were not working, possibly disconnected. Should not advertise wi-fi and cable if it has been cut off. Bring insect repellant..tons of mosquitos and they swarm the doorway they will get into the house. Check in time 4pm..but room not cleaned. I understand check in can be later however after a long drive from a.m. and doing activities until check in time, it would be nice to have 4pm check in actually mean that you can access a clean room at 4. We have a check out time of 10am..if we said we weren't ready to leave until later. I'm sure there would be no leniency and we would be charged extra.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. One block from main street of town. Beautiful view of June Lake.
Cons: The beds are terrible and need to be replaced. Same with the couches.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view
Cons: Screens need changing, mosquitoes came in
6.5 Good
Pros: The location of the condo was perfect. It was located on June Lake, next to the marina and walking distance to the village. The size of the condo was very comfortable for our family of four and our 2 teenage kids each had their own room and space.
Cons: The condo has not be updated since the 80's. The furniture and bed linens are dated and need to be refreshed. We were there for 4 nights, but only given 6 towels for 4 people. With the daily hikes we were in need of a daily shower. This would not be a problem if they provided washing machine soap. We could of washed up some towels, but no soap was provided. Everything was bare minimum for the condo. In addition, I recommend that they get a coffee pot with auto shut-off. We accidentally left it on all day. To top it off, the smoke alarm is broken or needs batteries, not sure which but it was just sitting on a table. Finally, there was scratching in the walls at night, mice or rats is my guess. Its a shame because overall the condo is in an awesome location on a gorgeous lake.
7.1 Good
Pros: Edge water #1 has an excellent location and a nice view of June Lake. The layout of the unit is very serviceable.
Cons: This unit is becoming a little shabby. The level of flame on the stove was very low (as if the propane was low). It would be nice to upgrade the barbecue. The unit served our group of seven adult men on an annual fishing trip/reunion. I don’t think I would rent this unit for a visit with my wife and grandkids. The service and communication from the rental agency was superior.
