With a stay at Hotel Ole in Fujieda, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Maejima Shrine and within a 5-minute drive of Fujieda City Library. This 4-star hotel is 2.6 mi (4.1 km) from Rengejiike Park and 2.9 mi (4.6 km) from Fujieda Provincial Museum.
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Good size room and bath room. Clean public bath and the room. Every thing was really new.
Pros: Stayed 5 nights. Staff was courteous, friendly and dedicated to customer service. Miss Hamaguchi who efficiently checked us in despite of the 'confusing erroneous' booking record was outstanding. Later, when I complained about the cigarette smell getting into my non-smoking room for two nights, they promptly changed me to another room that worked out fine for the rest of my stay. The front desk helped us with local restaurants locations and near-by places of interest. Delicious breakfast offered the best range among all the hotels we visited around Japan in our recent 3 weeks holiday. The spa area looked bright and clean but I did not have time to use the onsen. Great convenient location by the JR station.
Cons: The breakfast area served various tea and coffee from (I think) 2:30pm til 10pm. Pity that guests were not allowed to eat brought-in food in there during the day. There were daily supply of sample size skin care products in the room but no body lotion provided. Some guests told me to just get more facial lotion from the 4th floor onsen instead. But it was too much running up and down after a long day out.
Pros: The room is so cozy, clean and comfortable...the facilities are extremely good. The breakfast is marvelous. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. Will stay here again...
Cons: It is great if hotel can cater for early check in.

Pros: the staff went out of their way to help when i missed the train to be able to check in on time. they were friendly and helpful regarding any questions and issues i had and made my stay a really enjoyable one.
Pros: dinner was very delicious and copious. breakfast was alright compared to other hotels on our trip. the onsen area was very clean and well taken care of.
Cons: the hotel was generally clean, but there was a huge stain on the carpet right in front of one of our beds and also several cigarette burns on the carpet around the table in front of the window, see pics attached. the latter combined with the odor in the room lead us to believe that this was actually a smoking room even though we explicitly booked a non-smoking room. the interior in our room must've been decades old. the furniture wasn't damaged or anything but it looked like my grandparents bedroom. although dinner was very delicious, you could get the impression that they didn't want you to spend too much time at the restaurant considering how quickly the courses got served. also, one of the reception guys suddenly showed up at our table offering us some kimono deal, which we thought to be rather inappropriate. there's no wifi at the entire hotel.
Pros: The staff is good & meal also is fine.

Pros: The owner of the Ryokan couldn't go out of his way any more. He was extremely helpful with any question and went to extremes to help me. No question was too big or small. He did some research for me and came back with answers and options etc. They were the definition of customer service!!! Helps immensely that he can speak English also! Highly appreciated. Dinner was incredible! Need to let them know in advance, but highly worthwhile!!!
