it was very nice and cosy
staff were very friendly. food and service was excellent. rooms were quiet and spacious.
Good sized comfortable bed, good food and friendly staff. Also live music inthe bar on Sunday night was enjoyable but bedroom was quiet. Terrible gate release system from car park into the hotel meant we were standing in pouring rain for about 15 minutes - they would be better with a wee man to do security.
The staff were exellent, particulary the receptionist who was very helpful. The room was perfect. Very comfortable and clean. I would reccomend it to someone definitly. Very romantic also. I thought the prices of room service were very expensive.
Recently modernised rooms. Hotel restaurant was very good. Next time will ask for a room which doesn't over look the main street. We had a room overlooking the main street - very noisy especially when the nightclub was closing. The room was lovely but definitely in need of triple glazing!
Excellent Irish staff ,lovely food and good entertainment. No shelves in bathroom (room 3) all toiletries had to be left on floor but what a beautiful bathroom otherwise.!
Friendly staff, good breakfast although the breakfast room was a bit on the small size. I didnt like the entrance to the hotel from the car park.It was not very attractive and we had to pass through the smoking area.
Rooms extremely clean & large, staff very welcoming & friendly. Excellent Receptionist "Mary" went out of her way on checking in and departure. Extremely friendly & Warm We parked our car in the secured car park, by the back wall of the hotel. On departure we noticed foot prints on the boot of the car!!!! Someone obviously jumped the wall & jumped onto our car 07 "BMW" so that was disappointing after our lovely stay put a bit of a dampner on it!!!!
services / facilities cleanliness of your room comfort value for money comfort
I thought that the room and bathroom were both excellent, beautifully heated, plenty of hot water and attractive bathroom products. The staff went out of their way to be helpful.
friendly professional staff, large room, generally nice atmosphere in hotel
I like the style of the hotel and the staff were very friendly and helped me out with my complaint (see below) but I would have preferred more information on our room when checking in. In the room we stayed in we found it to be very noisy as it seemed to be over the bar/club and we did not get to sleep until after 2.30pm. Also the church outside chimes its bells and it woke us up again very early.
The hearty breakfast after the night before. Plenty of it and a wide variety of choice. All the staff were very courteous and helpful in every section of the hotel from reception to the bar to the cafe as we used all the facilities.
The hotel has a wonderful view of Trim Castle and the staff couldn't do enough for us.
staff were very helpful and friendly, overall a great hotel, would stay again
Beautiful surroundings, beautiful hotel, very modern, fresh and rejuvenating. Yes, we upgraded to superior room but as it happens this was directly over the function room and was kept awake with noise of band down below until late.
Comfort, Parking, Smoking facilities, Friendly staff.
location was very good and central, parking was easy and convenient, food was good , staff were friendly and spoke english. very nice hotel. I dont have any complaints
wedding service washbasin in bathroom not emtying.. shower pressure weak
spacious room, excellent food, very friendly staff as I am a smoker, all rooms are non-smoking.Pool was overun with kids at 7pm yet according to the information no kids are supposed to be in the pool after 5pm
Lovely room and evening meal .was there for my husbands 40 birthday with 5 friends Wedding on in hotel that nite and know that one of our group had to call security over major noise well into the early hours .
The room service was superb, very friendly staff. Would stay there again Nothing
The relaxing atmosphere. beautiful room and friendly staff
very relaxed friendly stay in luxurous surroundings
staff were excellent . food was great. large comfortable hotel receptionists didnt welcome us, just name and she told us 3rd floor but not room number. on leaving no one asked if we enjoyed our stay. remote tv control in room didnt work but too late to have it seen to.very expensive room rate
friendly staff lovely design very spacious great size car park very relaxing nothing
This is what you call a hotel ...luxurious, spacious rooms you could just spend all your time in the room. I did not get an opportunity to use the spa facilities but no doubt they were also up to the highest standard aswell. The food was beautiful also. I cannot fault one aspect of this hotel, stay here and see for yourself just beautiful
Nice clean rooms with a good hearty breakfast, fast delivery of food after order. Far too quiet of an evening bar not open, too far to go somewhere else, the pool was full of kids jumping in and out unsupervised. Drink too expensive. Poor choice of TV considering middle of nowhere , also tried to play golf shop never open, do they do club hire? never got chance to find out! Was a real shame should be a great hotel put felt staff and hotel in gen just going through the process, should be top hotel but need to get some atmosphere and happiness about the place.
Staff and service excellent and very helpful and friendly. The restaurant menu has a very small choice
This home is of superior standard. It is immaculately presented and the facilities are excellent. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast service can't be surpassed. Rooms are well appointed and very quiet. It is perfectly located a few minutes walk from the centre of town and is ideal for travelling to sites like Newgrange& Knowth. Can't recommend it highly enough. No
The manor was exceptionally clean and beautiful. It was in a great location for tourists visiting Ireland.
Very friendly hosts; good breakfast; clean and quiet accommodations.
Friendly and helpful host doubles as concierge and makes sure guests don't miss any local attractions and activities...including some not in any tourist brochures. Very quiet, comfortable room. Excellent home-made breakfasts in lovely dining room.
Friendly - helpful - great for a short stay in that area -
Lovely spot. Pat was a gracious and frindly host The bathroom was too small
Quiet location easy walking distance to Navan town centre. Friendly reception from owners. Good (Thai) restaurant found on their recommendation. Navan town centre seemed scruffy. Lots of litter which is not my normal experience of Ireland.
We had a wonderful time and were made to feel very welcomed, the rooms were clean, would recommend this place to friends
Friendliness of the owners together with attention to detail which included a high standard of cleanliness No
I was greeted by a very warm and approachable host who went out of his way to meet my every need. The room was well presented and very clean. The breakfast was lovely and I especially liked the home made jams! I would stay at this B&B again without any hesitation. 10/10 across the board.
The wonderful beds and quiet room My only suggestion is to include some of the good local whole grain breads in your breakfast menu.
Very clean and quiet location
Friendliness of staff and standard of food Standard of room, Large crack in plaster and pillows very uncomfortable
The fact that was closer in type top a hotel than B&B. Plenty parking. Good breakfast Not really - all was good.
We only stayed one night, but found it excellent for our needs. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was as good as you would expect in a five star hotel.
the staff were extremley helpful and courteous, the rooms were spacious and modern, the food was excellent and the loaction was brilliant.
First impression was one of cleanliness, efficiency and friendliness. Room was immaculate, and good size. Food was excellent and service great. Only issue we had were people in the corridor during the night talking loudly and making noise.
friendly and helpful staff n/a
It was like a hotel.. Fab place None
Clean and modern, close to town centre they ran out of sausages for breakfast!
Goo food and ell pesentd comfortable room. Very noisy late night music.
Good location, friendly staff, room service breakfast a must, late bar essential. Car park very tight for space
The residents bar was closed when we arrived back at the hotel, to the extent that we couldn't get a glass of water. Disappointing.
The waiter/ waitress were very friendly and had a smile on their faces which does not cost a whole lot but makes a difference when you are staying away.
the wedding reception was very good...and room was very clean other guest accompaning me was disappointed at how far away the gym and leisure facilities were
The hotel was very clean and had a nice layout Breakfast was very good with a good variety of food to choose from Our room was beside the air conditioning unit and the noise was terrible was unable to get any sleep. Although complained to a member of staff got little or no satisfaction Said she would pass my complaint onto the manager, I have yet to hear from the management.
very friendly staff, great bar, lovely rooms
Very good location and the food and hotel entertainment were excellent. Twin room was a bit small.
It was central in town with parking facilities. Cosy, comfortable, the staff were friendly. Great breakfast. I enjoyed my stay there.
Nice country location, good size rooms and comfortable beds, decent staple food but not much imagination. The remote for the TV was very quirky, so much so we didnt use it. Nice tea and coffee. Good place if you are into fox hunting. Some of the accomodation away from main house so no chance I could put high heels on Valentine's night, the bar /dining room area was always crouded and no enough space to sit down and have coffee. Worst was when I had fever and the receptionist said they dont have paracetamol or thermometer for guests on health and safety grounds.... It didn't feel right to be treated like 3-year old or mentally retarded, I just needed help there and then but did not get it and spent the night without sleep. They did offer a doctor, but we would hardly would had got one on Sunday night....
Superb small hotel with really friendly staff in all areas , although it was only one night , I was delighted to see the effort they made to make us feel comfortable ..highly recommended. In all hotels I use I believe the use of the "Buffet" for Irish Breakfasts is a complete let down , why work so hard to keep us hapy and serve up hard bacon and eggs is a mystery but so common in Irish Hotels right now.. its just lazy ( in my mind )
Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. The quantity and quality of bedding and pillows. Inclusive Email facility, ample parking close to hotel. Good food and bar facility with competitive pricing Sauna and steam rooms limited hours and booking required
I liked the immediate response of the staff (notably Aine) when a potentially difficult problem arose and the speedy resolution i.e. Our room was above the suite where a wedding was taking place and the noise of the band was over powering and no way was sleep possible. We had come away for peace and quiet, however as soon the staff were notified we were upgraded to 'honemoon suite' well away from the music. This was a fantastic room. My son however did not get relocated. The food in the restaurant was first class. I think it lacked a welcoming atmosphere in the reception areas and there was a distinct smell of urine around the area at the downstairs toilets. I have stayed in a lot of 4 star hotels in my life, unfotunately I
Relaxed atmosphere, countryside surroundings and friendliness of staff as well as good food
employees were very happy to be helpful and went the beyond the expected, very professional, made you feel at home! food was very good nothing was too much trouble.. blanket on bed was a little "grubby"
The reception & communal areas are homely and nice with plenty of seating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wi-fi is free. The wi-fi in the bar area kept dropping out which was frustrating; the lady at reception informed me later that there is not a good signal in there and its best to use it in the communal areas or rooms, despite the barman telling me it was available in the bar. It was fine in my room.
We enjoyed our stay the staff were friendly and the decor of the hotel was lovely. The food was also nice and room service on time. The shower/bath curtain was to short water every where.
service was very good friendly staff i would recemmed it to my friends no
I was impressed by the welcome received, the comfort of the room, (the pillows were unbelieveibly good!!) the excellence of the breakfast and the overall good impression.
attentive and pleasant staff, meals were of excellent quality and fairly priced. Hotel has a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
Staff were very good The bedding was too heavy and because of that alone i would not stay at the Ardboyne again nor recommend it. The question below about guest reviews needs a 'don't know' - i didn't look at any.
Lovely big hotel. Room was huge and very clean. Plenty of parking. Good bathroom. A little expensive.
The price and the friendly service Difficult to find especiall at night, as there was no sinage at main road and entrance
The location & The Staff.
breakfast having to eat evening meal in a crowded, noisy bar
staff friendly food good rooms very clean late bar very good will stay their again
The food No complaints really, televisions could do with ypdating but otherwise all ok
The bar food was really excellent ! The hotel has insufficient non smoking rooms (only 4 out of 29 rooms. I had to take the best smoking room they had which was reasonably odour free.
The staff were very friendly, helpful & efficient. The ambience & comfort in the bar & foyer and the bedroom was cosy & comfortable. no
The restaurant was very easy and had a good variety. There was no tea or coffee making facilities which I would expect as standard.
Desk personnel were extremely friendly and helpful, even making a phone call for me to be certain of the conditions at Newgrange
Welwome : they changed booking to adapt to a family
The food in castle arch was amazing. Nothing fancy, just good ald wholesume food and loads of it.Unfortunally internet wasn't working when we there. Head reception girl checking us in was amazing, great great.Very helpful and nice. Made our stay. The sunday reception girl not so great. Hassle with our tv that took hours to fix. But, overall it was great stay and can't wait to go back again Nothing overly fancy about hotel, but something really nice about it. The only bad thing -at nighttime, we weren't over nightclub, but over reception room, which was very loud - thump thump music.. Though, staff were great when we complained about noise. Wouldn't put us off though. But, could put my parents off staying! One end hotel is nightclub and other has reception rooms with parties on!
Nice, well located hotel, not huge or glamerous, but homely with a great breakfast. Nice rooms, inviting decor aqnd clean. Good bath and shower. Disco on saturday night was noisy and the Police had to be called to remove some unwanted people. Noise lasted until 2.30am. It didnt bother us too much as we had been to a wedding and returnd at 1.30am anyway
Staff were friendly and the food was lovely. Room was a bit cold
the room was clean this is a two star hotel at best. there were no ammenities, and I mean none-no shampoo, no shower cap , no gym no nothing! Only soap in your room. the rooms were ok, nothing special, and it is not in town.
quiet, nice room
Staff were extremely helpful. Food was very good.
The people at the desk were very responsive through e-mail and in person. The breakfast was good, and they made oatmeal for us, even though it wasn't on the menu. We did have a problem getting the hot water regulated and the toilet was very noisy when flushed.
The yellow house is beautiful, a stones throw from the town ..wer clean great service and yummy brekkie !!! Book it now Hilda is lovely ! Not applicable
Very easy to find. Very Quiet, and a wonderful breakfast. Nothing
Very welcoming. Excellent room/facilities, very clean. 15 minutes walk to Navan centre/lots of interesting sites in the area.
The Yellow House is an easy to find B&B, important when on a bicycle. It is spacious, clean and very welcoming. The owner tries hard to please. There is a hotel about 5 minutes walk away which serves evening meals, however these are expensive! The breakfast was delicous and I can recomend this very good value for money establishment. Lack of power from the shower.
