polite personal, convenient location breakfast not so good
Nothing! Lights didn't work. Power points didn't work. Wi-fi didn't work. Shower went hot then cold then hot. Shower didn't drain and flooded the bathroom. Rooms are tiny. Bathroom is tiny.
Bed excellent, very big and comfortable. Big airy balcony, plenty of room for table and chairs but none provided.. Plenty of electrical sockets for phone chargers etc. Staff pleasant and helpfull. Clean and well decorated. Quiet location. Air conditioner unit, electric wall heater plus hotel heating system in room. Light switches glow in the dark. To reach the hotel from the street door you have to climb two flights of stairs, there is no lift. No fire escape plan in the room, or anywhere else that I could see. No "Exit/Emergency Exit" signs anywhere that I could see. If there was an emergency exit I never saw it, or signs leading to it. I booked a Junior Suite,. It was not a suite but a standard room. The room had only one chair, I asked for, and was given a second one. There was no way to hold up the shower head so you had to hold it yourself whilst showering. There was no shower curtain or rail for one, so the water went all over the floor. Breakfast, not enough seats, not enough utensils, not enough plates, not enough anything, tea was included but coffee cost extra.
Hotel staff Cleanliness of the room is terrible. Two days out of 4 they didn't clean my room. The hotel is under construction and workers start fron 8AM to 5PM. Was blocked outside of the hotel at 2AM for 20 minutes as the staff was sleeping. Well bellow standard! Will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Good quality price, located not far from center, good quality of bed, bif space and totally new. Half of hotel in reconstructions, procedures not clear (my room was without towels), and because it's very small breakfast for poor.
Water pipes could be less noisy.
Great location, spacious rooms, courteous staff. We stayed at the hotel for two nights in October 2010, and will definitely stay again if in Kyiv. There was no breakfast provided at the hotel while we were there, but they are planning to open a place soon. There is also a nice coffee shop very close to the hotel. No elevator, so you have to walk the stairs to the 4th floor, but it's a good exercise:)
Hotel staff .Comfort. all was perfect
I knew that this was going to be a great place even before we got there. Sergey promptly and personally responded to questions that I had via email. Any and all requests that we had were fulfilled. Evgenie at the desk was extremely helpful, courteous and accomodating. Rooms are large, first class. We enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi bathtub. Friends stayed there as well at the same time as us and loved it. Location, location, location!
Location of this building is great , in the heart of Kiev , its 1 minute walk from Medan , the front intrance is comfortable , all what i needed was available , wi fi , small kitchen , clean toilet , comfortable bed , and most important also that manager speaks english , because in Ukraine its difficult to find people who can speaks english . The price is High , I would advice KievInn if Studio price (which i rented) is not more than 100 dollar.
The refurbished Deluxe Rooms were done well. The bar facilities were also good except that some staff members still need training on customer service and communication in English. I disliked the idea that I had to pay for an extra half a day because I arrived a few hours before the book in time of 14h00. The standard double and twin rooms are in a terrible state. They don't qualify to be in a 4-star hotel ! That is what I had booked and I subsequently had to upgrade to a Deluxe room which was nice and comfortable but at a huge cost. I also did not like the harassment of my Ukranian girlfriend although I had booked a room for two people. The security personnel demanded her passport so she could have access to my room. For God's sake, she had the right to be with me and I had already checked in.
- very nicely fitted room, - location - no electric sockets for notebook, very, very small elevator, renovation works in staircase
Everything was very good
Friendly and accomodating staff. Clean and well appointed rooms. Check out the lift (do not travel with bid suitcases, though). centrally located but quiet. the building is still being done up, so the staircase does not look its best.
Everything better than normal standards in Kiev. Only 3 apartments so very good service. Would reccommend!!
the hotel staff are so friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic the hotel still under preparation and the driller was knocking our heads every days we can't sleep well :(
I don’t like anything Every day laborers worked and made a lot of noise only could sleep at night.
The location was very central, close to several metro stations and within walking distance to a number of tourist attractions. The hotel is really more of a "mini hotel", on one floor in a building in a shopping centre. There was also at least one night club in the building and every night I could hear music from the club all night until early morning so did not sleep well. The included "buffet breakfast" was very light.
Good location! Comfortable, clean hotel! Good design of the rooms! In Room type Junior Suite the window isn't open!
Everything was quite comfort - whole design, furniture, enough space in the room. Breakfast - it was not a buffet, in this case I think it could be better to offer at least 2 sets of meals and ask for a choice.
Nothing I did not have access to the internet. Breakfest was awful. In general it was awful
I always enjoyed having breakfast as there was a good variety of foods to chooses from. The shower rose was not great (spraying water over the top of the shower curtain and making towels wet).
quite good location stuffy and small room, there was extremely hot (staff didn't manage to fix it)
i liked the location, the breakfast, the hotel facilities eg internet, i did not like the call girls hanging about the bar.
The staff working the business center were excellent I think the room could have been clean better.
Location is perfect, very very friendly staff, fine restaurant, a lot of international guests, nice souvenir shop. Thank you for making a great stay at your hotel in Kiev. Mariya Would be great get free wi-fi connection
quiet place, to sleep no
This Hotel sits back from the main road within a courtyard arrangement. City / road noise is vertually non-existant. The hotel staff are without doubt - some of the most professional, helpful and kind - that i have ever met. The cost.
Good small clean hotel
quiet rooms; friendly hotel employees; English speaking reception; WiFi included, breakfast included. small dining room for breakfast; no restaurant for dinner; sunday without cleaning the room; narrow rooms, cramped lift and corridor.
The hotel was an oasis in the city, had a very peacuful atmosphere, and had somewhat design style. It was located such a way that no street noise neither street lights could disturb the silence. The personnel was very helpful, friendly and professional. Additional advantage that the hotel had only 24 rooms or so, no noise in the corridors, nor people hanging in the bar etc. I travel a lot for my work, but this is absolute the best hotel I was ever in. It really enjoyed to be there.
Right in the front of Independence Square. Shower head broken.
central The apartment is quiet ok, but the building is horrible The srairs are not usable as they are closed with iron gates to restrict the access to some floors, you must rely on an old and stinky elevator, whatever it happen. The house corridor smell like toilet. The sensation is that you don't wanna stay. Leave alone the kebab and the junkies that gather just beside the entrance. Personally I didn't sleep there, it was only one night so I lost my money and just went in an hotel close by. Non andateci è una schifezza. L'appartamento è accettabile, ma l'edificio è una fogna, con tanto di cancelli che impediscono l'uso delle scale.
