Great location and friendly/helpful staff (a real plus in Ukraine:) If you are not too precious - it should be fine. I usually use apartments, but with no cell and early flight - best to get taxi from hotel at set rate at too early in the am. Rooms are old and worn. I heard some were renovated - but certainly not the one I was in.
no gym facilities was disappointing, otherwise, very nice
The hotel is in heart of Kiev
The location, services, cleanliness, room amenities, features like snacks in the refrigerator, and the great courtesy of the personnel The location of the room that was assigned to me
Perfect location for site-seeing Old room
Close to Buddha Bar Rooms are not clean and smells
I thought the staff was exceptional. The bar is flexible and willing to stay open a little later than the hours as long as you are generous. Clean rooms and you feel very safe here. First class treatment all the way.
We stayed only 1 day ,unfortunatly , but we confirm that really 5 star hotel, perfect breakfast, proffecional staff
Location, Staff and design of the room made for a perfect stay after an 18 hour flight from the US. Staff were both friendly and helpful. The Man at the desk pointed us to the New Years Eve Celebration. Room was spacious, quiet and very comfortable. Kiev was -12 C, and there was always plenty of hot water. The bathroom was floor heated which was a nice amenity in winter. Very well priced. Location is central to most attractions. Metro is only 150 meters away. No complaints
The staff, the location and the breakfast. Small room.
The location in the hystoric center of Kiev Rooms are small as well as the bathroom which has no relation to the price. Room was noisy because of its location close to the restaurant and conferance room above.
Very friendly staff, nice location in the old center, small hotel. TV was not working well, room a little bit small.
Staff was helpful Twice I had to complaint that there was no hot water for showering. Room was extremely small
I was upgraded! The room was small but beautifully decorated with lovely lighting The hotel is lovely but the prices are too high
Friendly staff, size of hotel and general design, breakfast buffet Accessibility because of poor state of road outside, insistence to pay for room in advance, which I refused to do.
Bed was ok, WiFi was strong, fast and stable, staff was helpful and professional, just a nice average European hotel! Television was all local, only in Russian or Ukraine, and some "Warning" banner was constant on some channels! I did not come for television so not a real big problem, just saying what I know.
Nothing No english tv no one speak English Under construction When I ask to speak to the owner of hotel to see why he can not put English chanel I was told the owner is one of ukraine government and they don't give a shit If that's the case I will Email to all the us websight to remove this garbage hotel from us market
Hotel staff .Comfort. all was perfect
Great location, spacious rooms, courteous staff. We stayed at the hotel for two nights in October 2010, and will definitely stay again if in Kyiv. There was no breakfast provided at the hotel while we were there, but they are planning to open a place soon. There is also a nice coffee shop very close to the hotel. No elevator, so you have to walk the stairs to the 4th floor, but it's a good exercise:)
Location of this building is great , in the heart of Kiev , its 1 minute walk from Medan , the front intrance is comfortable , all what i needed was available , wi fi , small kitchen , clean toilet , comfortable bed , and most important also that manager speaks english , because in Ukraine its difficult to find people who can speaks english . The price is High , I would advice KievInn if Studio price (which i rented) is not more than 100 dollar.
Water pipes could be less noisy.
KievInn is really an apartment rental service, but they are excellent for the price and their location half a block from Maidan cannot be beat. I visited on 6/25/14 and was amazed by the protest encampment in the square- massive makeshift barricades and a tent city exist amid the grandeur of its post-Soviet architecture, and the many people there were very friendly and extremely happy for a foreigner to be present and photographing their situation (I am American). The apartment was HUGE for a $79/night flat, with a sitting room w/ couch and flatscreen, a very comfortable and large bedroom (also w/ flatscreen), and a well appointed bath room that even had a washing machine. Its location was a bit funky- you had to open a garage door to access it- but in the end this was an effective security measure, I suppose. A half-minute walk to Maidan! The reception was warm, and spoke sufficient English to accommodate me and to arrange for a taxi to Boryspil airport the following morning (250 UAH). The ceiling in the flat was low by American standards-it was not a problem for me at 6'0", but someone of large stature might have an issue, especially in the shower.
I knew that this was going to be a great place even before we got there. Sergey promptly and personally responded to questions that I had via email. Any and all requests that we had were fulfilled. Evgenie at the desk was extremely helpful, courteous and accomodating. Rooms are large, first class. We enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi bathtub. Friends stayed there as well at the same time as us and loved it. Location, location, location!
Everything was very good
Everything better than normal standards in Kiev. Only 3 apartments so very good service. Would reccommend!!
Friendly and accomodating staff. Clean and well appointed rooms. Check out the lift (do not travel with bid suitcases, though). centrally located but quiet. the building is still being done up, so the staircase does not look its best.
- very nicely fitted room, - location - no electric sockets for notebook, very, very small elevator, renovation works in staircase
