Cons: "Flight from NY to Thessaloniki had a medical emergency. Plane was diverted to Manchester Airport in England to help patient on flight. This caused over 3.5 hour late arrival into Istanbul. This caused me to miss onnnection flight. There was very poor information or guidance by staff once we arrived into airport. I had to walk long long distances from the gate without assistance. I had requested wheelchair assistance considering I just had spinal cord surgery and In need of assistance. I was forced to stay over night in Istanbul and waited over 12 hours next day in airport for next available flight to Thessaloniki. I missed my brothers wedding night and could not be his best man for wedding from ordeal which was not fair! I also payed a premium price close to 1000k USA dollars for flight I could of booked many tickets with such a long layover and extra expenses buying a visa and food for half the fare I payed. This was not fair especially when a plane is diverted for medical emergency! To top it all off being a medical doctor I loaned and assisted staff with passenger and offered my consultation. services to emergency medical physician whom was called by crew for help and finally which reccomended to divert flight to Manchester to assist the passenger In crisis! Cons: "Turkish Airline’s needs to improve their online experience. Please just pay someone to fix it - you don’t have the city of Los Angeles as a option for home address. In case TA’s web developers are reading this, Los Angeles is the city with LAX in it. I guess you don’t have to know every city, but maybe download a complete list of cities and use that? There are lots of open source options and I can help you, if it gets confusing. Or, alternatively, allow users to type their city with a keyboard. Scrolling through every city in the state of California is not easier than typing Los Angeles. Especially when arriving at Los Gatos and thinking “wait... did I miss it?” That’s not the only thing wrong with your website, but start here. Look Turkish airlines is wonderful, I’m just saying that it was hell actually buying a ticket and signing up for your rewards program."

I found out within a out half an hour what would happen -- you had them delivered to where I was staying the next day. Cons: "First of all the staff needs to work on their customers service. The flight was 1 hour and 45 min late and I had another flight to get in Istanbul to get to my final destination. I almost did not make it. The staff never gave us an explanation about what happened at the JFK I flew for 10 hours scared and stressed out. I asked the staff if it was possible at the time of landing to get out with the business class or somehow to get out before everybody else, but they were completely useless. Also in the middle of the flight a woman started feeling very bad. She had an intense migraine because of the high pressure, clearly the woman was not used to fly very often. The poor woman was ill and the entire crew was surrounding her. 7 ppl standing in the way of customers, a male attendant touched my shoulder with his private parts at least 5 times. Also every time they passed by the would hurt my shoulder or my arm with out even apologize. What kind of customer service is this? Forgetting about all the other passengers? Creating a situation of panick just because of how unprofessional they are? You can be the most comfortable or cheapest airline company and add all the luggage and food you want but if your crew doesn't know anything in customer service the customer will fly with a different company next time!"

No updates from the staff about our departure status or boarding status throughout the almost 2 hour delay. Got an email from Turkish airlines about this issue and they claim the flight was only 25 minutes late departing. Exaggerations occur sometimes when people are inconvenienced so I checked my call logs and social media accounts and found I completed multiple phone calls and status updates from New York over and hour after Turkish airlines tells me I left. One of us is lying and at this point I'm inclined to agree with facebook that I was still in JFK airport an hour after my flight was scheduled to leave when I updated my status to gripe about the delays."

The supervisor assured us that we have nothing to worry about, as the second plane would wait as we are many passengers.however when we landed in turkey the connection flight had already left without us. When trying to speak to turkish airline representatives about getting a new flight, they were super UNhelpful, we waited in very long lines and were required so go to a few different parts of the airport to get a new ticket, a process that was not friendly at all and very frustrating. After about 2 hours of waiting on lines, i got a flight that required me to wait 7 hours in the airport and measley voucher for a very small fast food meal. When i asked to be admitted to the lounge (as i waited 7 hours in the airport due to the airlines mistake), they did not agree to grant me access. When i asked to at least get the wifi code from the lounge so i can tell my familly that i am stuck on turkey, this was also rejected. While waiting in the airport, i spoke to many other people on other flights who had been stuck in the airport under very simillar circumstances, some even worse than mine. I also have many friends who have experiences simillar experiences with turkish airlines. If you are looking for a reliable flight, that will get you to your destination on time and will help you out when a problem occurs, Turkish airlines is deffinetelly NOT the flight for you. I personally will never fly with them again after the way i was treated."

I've flown the following for reference: Lufthansa Air Swiss Delta Air France Air Arabia Saudi Airlines Egypt Air and a couple more I can't think of right now. I'm a very medium sized build and really short (5' 6") and I was so uncomfortable I wanted to (and probably will) cancel my return flight with them. My wife's back is still hurting from that flight. The staff are just plain awful save for 2 flight attendants. Out of 2 flights so far. I was told afterwards that this is commonplace when flying Turkish Airlines. For fairness sake I should mention that both Egypt Air and Saudi Airlines were worse. Whatever money you think you're saving by flying this atrocity you're gonna be spending on fixing your neck and back. Spend the extra and go with Swiss or even Delta. Avoid this rubbish"

Cons: "Upon landing in EWR on United, per my reservation on this site my connection was on SAS to Copenhagen. Upon arrival in EWR, I received an email from this site saying my SAS flight "may be canceled". I immediately headed to the terminal where SAS was and went into the lounge to speak to an agent. The women I spoke to could not have been more rude. She told me my flight was canceled and that she did not have access to any details because that was United's responsibility. I told her that could not be the case because my flight was on SAS so if they canceled the flight, I would like to understand what my options are given that I had a tight window upon arrival into my final destination into Dubrovnik so I could not be too late in landing outside of my original reservation. She told me that I had to talk to United and did not even acknowledge why there was a cancellation or anything other than the SAS flight I was on was cancelled. She barely even helped me to understand where my luggage was which I was very concerned would be lost given the issue with the flight cancellation. As a result of all of this, it turns out I was put onto a United flight that now had MORE connections. I had to now go to Frankfurt to Vienna to Dubrovnik, all with really tight connections AND now I no longer was on the same flight as my friend who I was traveling with. SAS did not help with any of this or care to assist in ANY way. They told me it was out of their hands and I had to talk to United. AWFUL service when SAS had cancelled the flight! I had no choice but to take the re-routed flights. I ended up running to my gates and barely catching all of my connections which made for a very stressful travel experience to start my long awaited vacation. After paying the high cost I did for my flight, I am extremely frustrated with my experience as I ended up having more connections, tight connections, awful customer service and a really stressful trip. This is NOT would I would expect for how much I paid and out of the quality of an airline. I would like to receive some type of compensation for the extreme inconvenience of landing 3+ hours after my original arrival time, being broken up with my friend who I was traveling with, not being given any options for my travel, terrible customer service assistance, and no acknowledgement from SAS to help me in any way."

(Since it’s the smallest city mini double stroller there is and folds flat- super small!) first time we flew SAS all. We didn’t sign anything and gate checked it and all was fine but some incompetent crew at check in. Not very helpful finding seats with all four of us. Put us in different rows. Could work on their customer service for sure."

I was then transferred through Prague to get to Athens and again missed my connecting flight through there. Now I am stuck in Prague looking for a flight to Athens and most likely will miss my next flight from Athens to Karpathos and will again be stuck in Athens because there are no flights out to Karpathos until 19 of May, 3days from now. I was physically in the Copenhagen airport and could have made that flight, I feel that since I was already checked in they should have waited for me and allowed me to board. Now I will Be missing work!"

But, it was after hours on the airline number phone number and the fly.com customer service could not help with finding an alternate connection from Oslo to FRA. It was frustrating to then have to wait at Oslo airport for another 4 hours before the new connecting flight."

Cons: "There was some mix-up - not sure where - but I did requested a vegetarian meal and it wasn't in the system. I'd also requested an aisle seat due to a hip issue and was told I'd have one - but when I went to check in, I'd been put in a center seat in a bulkhead. I was able to change but it was the last row of the plane. We the gate they were able to move me up at the last minute - but this all could've been much easier."

First of all. I didn't want to involve United, the service counter at SAS was closed the entire time, and the flight on my first leg was operated by United, so i had no choice but to go to United. In fact I should be the one asking why I had to involve United in the first place. Where was SAS when I needed their help and guidance???? Why was their counter closed the entire time??? Such a poorly organized airline, I'll be wary to fly with SAS again."

Cons: "Passport control in Copenhagen is too slow to allow for a 35 minute layover. We missed our flight to Stuttgart and had to go to the transfers counter. The service at the transfers counter was outstanding and they put us onto a Lufhansa flight. In the end we got to Stuttgart 5 hours later than planned."
Cons: "1) on the plane, they announced a choice of two meals and I enquired why did I get one without choice and they told me the second choice was an option only for 'economy plus' !! That was a rude situation....I felt cheated and then insulted . 2) CPH - Nice : The breakfast or the included orange drink gave me an upset stomach and bad case of Hemorroides. 3) I accepted a glass of tomatoe juice and when I asked for a coke with my lunch , the stewardess said I had only right to one drink and would have to pay the rest....really ? - wine used to be free and now a glass costs $4...really ?? 4) I arrived at CPH airport for my transfer .. the flight was yet not on the screen but no one gave any instruction and no officials of any kind were around to enquire....a cleaning crew finally directed me correctly. 5) the security line in New York to board was ridiculously long...someone shouted to take off our smelly shoes...really ?? 6) most were directed to the right with four snaking unending lines to one security check . From time to time others were directly directed ed to the left where there was no line and option of two security checks. Half way through my wait , most were directed to the left and all who were 'late', were let out first to their gate. The whole experience before, on the plane and after was not worth the money...least of all a pleasant one."
Pros: "Even though I did not get the seat I paid extra for, it was a great flight."
Pros: "The flight from Newark to Stockholm was late, so I was late for the flight to Vilnius,had to recheck-in and wait for 6 hours."
Pros: "We got to sit in the emergency aisle so I can't complain about comfort. The staff was really friendly (although they were really rude on the way over 10 days earlier, so I guess we just got lucky with a nice crew for this one)."
Cons: "You only get one free non-alcoholic drink on this flight and that's really stingy for a 7+ hour a long haul. Drinks should be free on a long haul, especially non-alcoholic ones. There aren't any free small snacks like chips or peanuts. You have to pay for everything and the menu is exorbitantly over priced. It's a cheap and insulting customer strategy. They can save a few bucks in overhead on each customer this way, but they are losing money in the long run because I'll never book with them again due to their tawdry actions. I doubt I am alone."

I needed wheelchair assistance and found that every was very attentive to my needs and very competent, especially the ones assigned to get me from place to place. Even in Rome, where we had to deplane on the tarmac, I had a young woman and a young man to assist me and they helped me in every way possible."

She didn't apologize about that, additionally she requested to show a confirmation number with an arrogant attitude. Anyway we asked to bring a vegetarian meal, she brought it, and we asked her if it contains egg (sometimes seasoning contains egg). She said she would check and come back soon, but she never appeared. What a rude crew she was. What an unsophisticated system the flight company has. We were so disappointed."

Pros: "My flight was pretty comfortable. I had heard so many negative things about LOT Airlines, but I loved the cabin crew who were extremely courteous, and the food served was pretty good (dinner and breakfast since it was an overnight flight). The entertainment was pretty good as well; they even had some Oscar nominations like Dunkirk and Shape of Water available to watch. Overall, I was very pleased with my flight experience."
Cons: "The only thing that I was not a fan of, but which didn't bother me that much/didn't affect me that much, was that we departed from JFK in NYC *an hour late* because we boarded so late. For some people, this caused an issue with their connection in Warsaw, but for me, I luckily had a four hour layover. Still, an hour is pretty bad in terms of departure."

Cons: "After spending almost $1,400 on my ticket to Poland, the last thing I would expect for such a long trip would be a broken seat that didn't recline. Being 6'7"in height and having the seat in front of me reclined I had to sit crouched for over 9hrs.When I informed the stewardess, not much concern was given and the alternative offered was worse because it was a middle seat with less space knowing that there were available seats in premium class. No effort was made to accommodate me knowing that the trip was long and sitting with my legs crouched could cause a health issue. A working seat is not a luxury, it's basic equipment that you expect to be functional not broken."
