The Seashore was one of the highlights of my trip. Ballybunion can be a very busy little seaside resort, but the Seashore is located in a quieter section of town a few minutes away. The room was wonderful as was the breakfast the next morning. I think the estimate of this property as five minutes from the Ballybunion Golf Club is a bit low; however, it's certainly no more than ten minutes from the Club. Given the nighttime bustle in central Ballybunion, I did not mind the slightly longer drive.
Location was good overlooking the atlantic sea. Facilities good and value for money
Very comfortable relaxing & spotlessly clean guesthouse beautifully situated a few minutes from the golfcourse which you can see in the distance from your bedroom window. Excellent breakfast served and also valuable golfing tips received from the owner re playing Ballyb. No
great location for the beach, family run guesthouse with large rooms great value for money
beautiful location beautiful guesthouse no
Excellent staff (family of owners)! They are very nice and helpfull people. The room was not big, but very tidy and comfortable. Wonderful sea-view. Breakfast was very tasty! Tea-maker in the room was dirty and with old water in it. But it was the only negative think I noticed.
Very welcoming.Peaceful, quiet and comfortable. Shower took a long time to warm up and had no force.
the warm welcome and the full irish breakfast no matter how late we slept on!
The hostess is very friendly and accommodating. The home is lovely and the breakfast was wonderful.
Wonderfully friendly and welcoming family run outfit. Attentive service and very homely lodgings. The breakfast was hearty and of decent quality. Our bed was very comfortable and we thus slept well. Close to the beach for walks if that's what you enjoy, very rugged countryside all around. you. Some aspects of the place are a little bit dated, but in a way that was part of the charm of it being a family run and rural lodge. Just don't go expecting mod cons. There isn't a great deal to do in Quilty, so a car is a must.
There was good signage from the main road to the B&B. We have not stayed in many B&B's in Europe, but this place was not worth the 60 Euros we paid. I will admit we didn't spend much time there, as we arrived at 22:00 and left around 08:00. But nothing we experienced made us want to stick around. It is between 2 tiny, very quiet villages (about 10 min drive to either). House and landscape is plain, has barely an ocean view. The bedroom was plain with cheap furniture, uncomfortable mattress and squeaky bed, tiny shower, towels that looked like my old beach towels, foam mats on the bathroom floor, overall cleanliness was fair. We did not pay or stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that. Owners wanted payment in cash.
Very cold, the heating was turned on after 10pm
