Comfortable bed! A few maintenance issues. Example: Door latch was loose.
The price and the proximity to I-80. Location was in a residential area in a small town. The staff was not friendly and the rooms would get cold easily due to the air gaps on the door.

It's located in an area that offers great birding opportunities. The manager made accommodations for our group's early AM departures, putting out breakfast items earlier than usual so that we didn't miss out. There was no clock or information about local restaurants, stores, etc. in the room.
Location to Kimball Event Center
Clean but an older upgrade. Room was clean, staff only seen twice when we got there and when we checked out. Small quiet town with a train that goes through during the day. Some items need attention such as the stairs to the second floor - none inside. No sit down restaurants close by - have to back out to the freeway for that.
For starters, we were in town for my grandmother's funeral. I booked 6 rooms for my immediate family; 5 with 1 queen bed and 1 with 2 queen beds. When we arrived, they told us they only had 4 with 1 queen bed and 1 with 2 queen beds, but they did have one room with a king bed in it instead. They charged us for the king sized bed, when they had overbooked the rooms! The 'pool' that is advertised over so many signs was 'not working.' Our television in our room was also not working, which they never tried to fix, in the three days we were there, even though we asked them to twice. The customer service was atrocious. I'm sure they were overwhelmed with the amount of people staying in their hotel but a little kindness goes a long way! We called and asked for a broom since my son had made a mess. My husband then suggested that maybe a vacuum would work better. I called back, in hopes of catching them before they had left to come to our room with the broom. As soon as they answered the phone, the man barked 'Give us a second! We're on our way!' And hung up! As if we were really calling back thirty seconds later to see where they were. To top it off, on the second morning of our stay, the cat was up on the counter, eating the breakfast that was set out for the customers. SO gross, especially since we'd all eaten there the morning before. It was just the worst stay ever. I will NOT be back.
