6.3 Good
Cons: It was very noisy. I had to call the front desk to send someone to quiet down 2 children that were banging on doors up above me. It stayed quiet for about 10 minutes and started again. Had to take a sleeping pill to go to sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the way the room was arranged and all the little things include, table at sofa, footstools loved the walk in shower and the fresh smell of sheets and pillows!
Cons: That I did not have time to check breakfast out and Parking was strange.

7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean. Staff was very welcoming, friendly and eager to please.
Cons: For a brand new property, the caulking in shower was already showing discoloration. Booked a king exec room, but was given queen double. Said they oversold kings and even though i was not late checking in, did not call to let me know.

We are also close to Thousand Hills State Park, downtown Kirksville, and businesses like Kraft Foods. 9.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The entire establishment was clean and relaxing. The pool and hours were nice. Most other hotels we considered had limited hours on their pools. We have no complaints at all.
Cons: Would have liked to have a larger room. A better breakfast. Better selection of snacks in the vending machines. The snack ma hine was half empty
5.5 Okay
Pros: Front desk greeter was very pleasant and welcoming
Cons: We stayed 3 nights and room service never cleaned our room. Trash was never changed. Towels and linens were never replaced even though we left them on the floor. Only had one large bath towel to use for 2 adults in our room so we had to walk to front desk to get extra. First night sink wouldn't drain but we fixed it ourselves. Second night and the rest of our stay, our bathtub wouldn't drain so we would be standing in about 6 inches of dirty water during showers. We went to try the hotel's complimentary breakfast at 8:30 am, but food was not readily available and the only thing available were bananas and oatmeal and after speaking to other guests they had already been waiting about 10 minutes for food so we left to get breakfast elsewhere.
7.5 Good
Cons: That you would purposely overbook your hotel on family weekend and ceremony for A T Still College! Their were families who thought they had reservations at Baymont! They had to find rooms last minute and ended up quite far away!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Selection is great.
Cons: I think extra outlets in room for people who may need to work would be helpful OR adaptors to plug in cords to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was very clean. Bed sheets lovely and soft. Quiet. Good assortment at breakfast.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast sad, cleaner needed to do a better job.....no frig, no microwave so way over priced in my book.....
Cons: Mentioned above
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk staff was very professional and helpful
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Very dirty. Dead bugs on floor. Did not get room service. Overall hotel looks shabby and dirty
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was not creepy. I believe it was worth exactly the amount I paid. Basically its an out dated holiday inn since thats what it was previously.
Cons: The ad said there would be a fridge, but there was not fridge. Breakfast was subpar. The people who worked there did not impress. I thought it was going to be a holiday inn, the pictures were deceiving.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very convenient to the location I needed. The staff that greeted me was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was refilled quickly after each container was emptied.
Cons: Sink vanity was not in the bathroom. A little odd.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The hotel had a good selection of items for breakfast.
Cons: There was no one at the desk when I went to check in. I could have got a moving truck and cleaned the place out. After going through this ridiculous process of holding a phone for a while, someone arrived. It felt like once the clerk saw I booked on line and not through Wyndham, I saw their affect change towards me. After taking a shower, I went to bed and then tried to turn on the TV. I could not get it to come on. I got out of bed and looked to make sure I was doing things correctly. I could have called the front desk, but after the cold shoulder treatment checking in, I decided not to, so I just did without. There were no tissues in the bathroom holder either. The morning staff seemed just as unapproachable as the evening staff. Not a place I'll be staying again.
6.3 Good
Pros: Convenient.
Cons: Staff very unfriendly and not helpful. Breakfast selection was minimal when we arrived for breakfast. No one willing to replenish anything that was out. Just not what I had expected for over all service.

Cons: It allowed pets but when we checked in, we were told we could not leave our pet alone. We had to be in the hotel with our pet even if in a kennel. The staff was not around when we checked out .A note said to leave key right there on the counter.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Old single floor motel style hotel with parking right outside your door. The rooms had been remodeled recently and everything was very clean. Room was larger than in most hotels in the area and very large for the price. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Cons: Had an issue with the key reader in the door (battery needed to be replaced) but staff was very quick to resolve the issue. There was no ice machine that I could find but the staff at the desk was happy to get ice for me.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I like that there was a back door that opened to green space where my kids could have room to stretch their legs. It was enclosed by buildings and no way for them to eascape. As long as the kids avoided animal messes.
Cons: I wish the front door had a tighter seal. It had a secure lock, but felt the door fit loosely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ok to take pets. Room tho old was clean And had appliances we needed
Cons: Check toilet seat
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was large & very clean. I really like the inner courtyard area - all I needed were a couple of lawn chairs!!
Cons: The breakfast offerings were slim! Cold cereal, Instant oatmeal, vending machine type donuts. There was a microwave (I'm assuming to heat the oatmeal) & a toaster (haven't got a clue what someone was supposed to toast in it though).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly.Hotel is older but clean.Nothing fancy. Beds are good. Fridge and micro in rooms. Rooms are large. I wish I would have known this hotel was this decent so I would not have wasted money on the other expensive hotels in town.
Cons: Bathtub needed to be cleaned better lots of soap scum in the soap holder and pink stuff on the bottom of the shower curtain. Air conditioner very loud and ran all night. If I am back in the area I will stay at this hotel/motel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I went to take our daughter for Truman State orientation and the stay was a smooth easy experience. The staff was curteous, hotel was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I definitely will stay when I return to Kirksville.

Pros: Friendly staff. Looked nice
Cons: Bathroom was not too clean. Whiskers on the sink and shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a great night's sleep! The pillows and bed were really comfortable. The breakfast was okay. There was more than I thought there would be.
Cons: My only issue was that I set the alarm on the clock in the room and it didn't go off! I was afraid we would miss the breakfast. There weren't as many things left there as there might have been if we would have been there sooner for the breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming staff and helpful with directions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk clerks were very professional, helpful, and friendly.
7.0 Good
Pros: Front desk personnel were friendly and accomodating.
Cons: Assigned room was not clean, had to change rooms. Breakfast had been consumed by housekeeping staff, which we had to wait behind to get food and coffee.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, polite staff
Cons: Excessive humidity (in July) made the floor and sheets feel damp. The AC couldn’t keep up. Also, the breakfast bar was surprisingly lackluster. The packaged Danish pastries were frozen, only slices of white bread in individual ziplock bags.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff and clean, comfortable room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked 3 double queen rooms for business and every room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.Fridge and microwave in each room which helped save money eating out every meal.Breakfast was very good with eggs and sausage on the hot side with a waffle maker and lots of options like oatmeal and cold ceral and fresh fruit and muffins and pasteries again saving us money not buying breakfast.I and my Cable tv crews will be working in Kirksville for the next 18 months off and on and will stay at this location every trip when rooms are available.
Cons: Myself and my guys had no complaints at all other than it was really cold as we work outside. This was a really good place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mostly everything that applied to our visit. The parking lot lit up, the room, the breakfast, and the staff.
Cons: The hall/building and room could if possible be aired out. It smelled “closed up”. Did Not stink just smelled stale. Let some fresh air pass through building/rooms when possible. We do this at our house.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, price, size of room, wonderful beds.
Cons: There is not darkening curtains in room, was not able to close the dark curtains to block out sun and lights from window.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff are helpful and friendly. I can count upon this hotel to be clean and have a good breakfast. It is less expensive than many (not all) motels in Kirksville, yet is comfortable (and comforting) to sleep in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: These are the best beds I have found in a long time. Even beats out upscale hotels in Chicago!!! I am finding out what kind it is because I would like this mattress in my home!!!!

7.5 Good
Pros: I only had coffee. Most of it was just sweets which I don't normally eat. We got here early and was able to go ahead and check in which I really appreciated.
Cons: We were on the second floor and the steps were not in good shape. The top step especially was scary if it might break. A;so the railing on one side wasn't sturdy so had to go up and down steps on only the one side if you need to hold on to the railing..
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Well priced, friendly staff
Cons: The door had a crack so a lot of cold air came in and took a long time for the room to warm up!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Seemed clean.
Cons: Relatively rundown.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff exude a real "family" feeling. I feel very safe here.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Quiet and inexpensive.
Cons: The carpet must be 25 years old. It's really showing its age.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: For my money, this property has the best location of any in Kirksville. It is literally moments from everywhere I need to be when I'm in town. The staff was very friendly and accessible. They got us everything we needed. I'll definitely stay here anytime I can.
Cons: A few things weren't in the best shape. One of the towel bars on the wall kept falling off, and maybe the carpet wasn't in the best shape. Still a great value for the money.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were wonderful. Truly a family friendly experience.
Cons: Breakfast was small danish and coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Microwave & frig in room. Very good accommodations for the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean
7.5 Good
Cons: "continental breakfast" consisted of factory packaged pastry goods
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The people were friendly and helpful. As I indicated, the room was very clean, and everything worked well.
Cons: I would rather have had a Kerig (?) Coffee- maker in the room instead of the breakfast downstairs, because of our time differences (late sleeping). Also, figuring out the TV system was difficult -new never did really get it (controls underneath-no labels or remote).

3.0 Mediocre
Cons: The room stunk. There was no microwave or refrigerator.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Absolutely nothing!
Cons: EVERYTHING!
4.5 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: bathroom sink clogged. walls are paper thin...heard way to much activity from room next to us. breakfast was average.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: I guess i really didn't like anything, staff was pleasant but didn't really do anything about or complaints other than listen. Oh, the water pressure was good and hot. The beds seemed ok and were comfortable.
Cons: Mold around the ac units and windows. the rooms smelled. the first room was damp like a basement. In the morning our clothes we hung up the night before were wet to the touch. Moved to a new room but i had to approach them three times about it. The second room was not nearly as bad , but it was not good either. There was mold growing on the window sill that resembled bird poop. OMG!. The first bathroom had long hair on the shower stall all up and down the tub. There was some sort of disgusting brown stuff on the base of the toilet. And did i mention it smelled like an old musty basement? We got in so late we just wiped it up and went to bed. The next night we switched rooms. That room the toilet was dirty, and OMG did i mention the mold around the windows. The bathroom floor was very dirty and the room floor was not vacuumed well. there was debri in the corners that has been there awhile. Had planned to maybe actually use the pool, the hotel is fairly large and has a large roof area for the pool on the side. The pool was only big enough for two adults or one adult and two children. The pool roof and bldg space was actually the dining area and front cntr. i didn't really care for the pool smell in the dining room or at the front desk. The room description made me think we were getting a larger than normal hotel room (2 full beds) with a sitting area with a couch so we could actually watch tv without being on a bed. But it was just a typical room. There were not adequate plugs for all of our phone charges and the plugs that were there were not very accessible. THey put in extensions cords to help but it didn't because they were not located well. The free breakfast, well they sort of had that, but the problem was they served a full hot brkfast for $4 next to the free brkfast in the same dining area. The hallways were dark and uninviting like a dark basement as well.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was convienent.
Cons: We were given a "smoking room" that we did not want. It was dingy, damp and smelled terrible. There was no way to open a window to get ventilation. Plaster came off the wall where I opened my suitcase. The bathroom floor had dirty grout & looked unclean.
4.5 Okay
Pros: had to pay for a breakfast that you get most places free when you stay.
Cons: Could be clean telephone in room could work terrible odor in hall
5.5 Okay
Pros: The people where nice
Cons: It was an older facility that does have the money to keep everything as well as it should.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: My family has a reunion in Winigan every year. This is the 9th year that I have stayed at Days Inn in Kirksville and I LOVE the updates that have happened that last couple years. New carpet, paint, updated bedding, ect. Staff is friendly. Breakfast has even improved recently. The location is a bit away from the center of town but that also adds to the privacy. Pool is nice with an added hot tub for relaxing. Beds were comfortable and everyone slept great. A huge deal is the fact that they allowed early check in so I could get three kids ready for a day at Thousand Hills State Park Beach in our room! Awesome!!!
Cons: Honestly my biggest issue was the lack of extra pillows. I had a room with a pull out couch. My two yougest were to share it but there was no pillows for that bed. My 10 year old daughter and I went down to the front desk at 10pm to get more. I was told by one lady she would get us some just as another woman explained that they only had one extra in housekeeping. The 1st woman said she'd bring me what they had. However, she NEVER came up to our room. My son slept with no pillow and I gave my daughter one of mine. No fridge in room. Bummer but not deal breaker. Another issue, although not largely significant, was that I listed that I wanted to pay cash for our room at check out. And they charged my card before asking me.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was good to where we had family reunion
Cons: Booked because it said it had pool but pool was closed down
6.3 Good
Cons: It took us an hour to check in at 11:00 pm! Clerk kept running her mouth and card reader didn’t work right. Very inept
5.0 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Several problems with my recent stay: pool closed for repairs, hot tub closed for repairs, bar was closed until further notice, 3rd floor vending machine out of order, laundry on 3rd floor out of order and drink/vending machine also out of order on the 3rd floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Comfortable beds.
Cons: Toilet paper holder was rusty and dirty.

7.0 Good
Pros: The location was where I needed to be for the night. Unfortunately, there was no vacancy at the Days Inn just down the road so I ended up here.
Cons: My hot breakfast was non-existent as the person behind the desk didn't have the keys that Sunday morning to open the supply room. Therefore, no batter, no hot waffles, no hot breakfast. I am not a fan of cold cereal nor of packaged pastries nor of toast, which were my choices.
4.5 Okay
Pros: It was close to where I needed to be. It was cheap. No bed bugs.
Cons: The floors were sticky. The pillows smelled like cat pee. Room was dirty. Dead roaches in the hallway.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked how friendly the staff were.
Cons: There were hair clippings in the faucet knob. The doors slammed easily. The side entrance/exit door was consistently unlocked. It was cold in the room without the air on.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location,it is close to our favorite restaurant.
Cons: Found hair on refrigerator. Used shampoo bottle in shower. Heat did not work very well.
6.3 Good
Pros: Hot water... that's all!.
Cons: Not enough towels... AC sockets are blown... parking lot is dirty and not kepp up... window ac/heaterhas several broken knobs... broken side Security Doors... loud indoor noises all night long, door slaming and heavy walking in hallways at all hours of the night... while being check out, the hostess would not come to the main desk, she stayed across the room in the breakfast area, telling me to just leave the card keys on the desk top... and no other paper documents, not cool.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It was the only place available.
Cons: AC didn't work. Moved rooms several times, AC in new rooms still didn't work. Staff admitted "sometimes they work sometimes they don't". Blood spots on blanket. No pets allowed, but 2 big dogs down the hall barked ALL NIGHT. Entire frony lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. Breakfast bread was leftover and dry AS SOON as it was put out.
5.5 Okay
Cons: After driving several hours I just wanted to get to my room but it took them several times to get the key to work. I had to make multiple trips to the front before we got into our room.
1.0 Poor
Cons: THIS IS NOT A SUPER 8 MOTEL!
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The woman working the desk was nice and helpful.
Cons: The room smelled like wet dog, there was a greasy huge stain on the carpet floor, and the comforters were dusty and musty.
