Good crowd, nice clean facility; pretty good breakfast.
The ride up and down the hill to Harpers Ferry is not long but steep and treacherous.
This hostel was perfect! Exactly what I needed for the weekend, The free breakfast was excellent with a lot of options. Every night there's a campfire, smores equipment and ingredients provided. The airconditioning is great and much appreciated. Staff was WONDERFUL. If ever come back to Harpers Ferry, I will 100% stay here again.
Travelers should be aware that the hostel is actually a little distance from Harpers Ferry - a 10 minute drive and an hour walk, give or take depending on walking speed (though granted, it is mostly a very pretty walk.) Also be warned that the hostel is closed from 10 AM to 5 PM - not an issue if you're out and about, but may be if you wanted to spend extra time indoors there.
Beautiful view and surroundings, music, staff, and free pizza, beer, and breakfast. Lovely, all 'round!
Nothimg. Great hostel.
Great breakfast. Met some very interesting AT thru hikers there. Place has great vibe and is very economical.
The living room (shared area) was very comfortable
I forgot I needed to make my own breakfast! The breakfast supplies however were excellent.
