Pros: Very picturesque hotel close to city center but not right in the crowd. We loved being there, it was confortable and relaxing, and the host and staff nice and helpful.
Pros: The room was spacious and very clean! Absolutely beautiful garden, nice food and the owners were so friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange a tour to the Mount Agou and the waterfall with a guide they know and we had such a great time. Thank you for everything!
Pros: The hostess and employees were extremely friendly and helpful. We met the husband of the facility hostess - he happened to be an old Elementary School mate from Kpalimé - my hometown.
Cons: All went well, so well that I told the hostess we will be back.
Pros: Great owners that run the place with their heart and soul!
Cons: Rooms could have been a bit darker to sleep
Pros: Wonderful staff, Karoline and her husband are absolutely lovely hosts! The food is excellent, the vibe is so relaxing and the yard is so beautiful. Will definantly recommend to stay here!
Pros: Great accomodation in Kpalimé! Clean, great owner, great local staff! If you really need a swimming pool I would take that hotel and go a short walk on the road to Kloto. There you can use one at another (much mir pricier) Hotel for a small amount.
Pros: Very friendly owners and staff! Wonderful homey touches. The Viennese food! Also they take pets.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind. The property has no pool, that's about it.
Pros: I really enjoyed my stay. Karoline and Julius were lovely and extremely helpful hosts, as were the staff. The garden was a great place for having breakfast and relaxing at the end of the day.
Pros: This is a cosy, quiet place not far from the centre of Kpalime. The owners are so friendly and happy to give tips and advice as well as help with arranging taxis or a guide. We had a tour with Ata (local guide who was recommended by Hotel Royal) and went to the waterfall and the village in the forest, it was a great day out. Even though there was no WiFi due to the storm and heavy rainfall, everything was done to make our stay comfortable. Thank you very much Hotel Royal
Cons: Nothing to mention really, the staff is really friendly
Pros: This was our first trip to Togo, and our stay at Hotel Royal made the frip. We planned to arrive the night before, but had car troubles on a backcountry road and had to spend the night elsewhere. The owners, Caroline and Jul, were incredibly understanding and immediately called their mechanic when we arrived. They helped us find a trekking guide so that we could see a waterfall in the area and climb Mt. Agou while the car was being fixed. Despite the fact that none of us spoke French (or German or Greek, which Caroline also speaks), she and Jul were tremendously gracious. The food is lovingly made and delicious, from the salads and the kebabs at an onsite barbecue to the breakfast sandwiches Caroline made personally for us for a pre-dawn departure our last day. The property has a calming atmosphere, with both indoor and tree-shaded outdoor seating so you can keep cool during the day and admire the stars at night. The rooms are clean and spacious with little touches showing the thought put into them. I would highly recommend Hotel Royal to anyone visiting Kpalime!
HÔTEL PARC RÉSIDENCE is located in Kpalime. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The view, nice building
Cons: mattress was too hard
Pros: Very nice setting for the hotel in the nature. Staff was very friendly and helpful
Pros: Wonderful hotel! Excellent hosts with very helpful recommendations. Absolute best hotel in Kpalime.
Pros: The surroundings
Pros: Very peaceful setting in a beautiful tropical forest. Hotel nicely designed with modern amenities. Very clean and functional. Food was great too. Overall a gem not to be missed.
Pros: Very good hotel for the region. The setting inmidst the togoles mountains is beautiful.
Boasting a garden and bar, as well as a restaurant, La Paillotte is situated in Kpalimé. All rooms boast a kitchen and a private bathroom. The property features a shared lounge. All rooms are fitted with a TV with satellite channels, microwave, a coffee machine, a shower and a wardrobe. Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. The hotel offers a continental or à la carte breakfast.
Pros: The hotel has a lovely setting, with nice gardens, and the individual spacious rooms have different coloured themes. The restaurant is quite tasty, with a wide ranging menu. The staff are lovely, very friendly. They can organise guides to Mount Agou etc. It's worth pointing out that brushing up on your French is advisable. None of us spoke much French and although we could communicate with the staff, we couldn't with the guide, for example. Don't be put off by the location outside the centre. Kpalime is very spread out, and nearby you have an ATM and internet cafe
Cons: I don't think it's a problem with the hotel, it's probably an issue around rural Togo, but it's worth mentioning. The electricity can be intermittent, meaning your fan stops working, so it's tricky to sleep. Worst power cut was only half an hour. The water supply seems to cut out during the night, but two barrels of water are supplied in the bathroom to cover this
Pros: This place is the best in town; Excellent reception. Excellent food. Lovely atmosphere.
Pros: This place is amazing! Well run, well-designed accommodation with comfortable rooms and a wonderful restaurant. Great price too! The owner Eric is very friendly and so is the staff. Some French will definitely help. The breakfast was one of the best ones we had in West Africa, omelette with bread and coffee yet everything was on point. Loved the extra touches with food as well as the room. We eat here for dinner as well - highly recommend even if you are not staying here. Easy to get here on public transport - the property sent us an email with direction which we showed to our driver. Wifi would be great to have (this might change as it is a new property) but there is a Cyber Cafe in town - so enjoy being disconnected.
Pros: This little hotel is beautiful, surrounded by flowers and trees it feels like an oasis of peace. Staff are wonderful and welcoming. The rooms are really clean, food amazing. The best place I stayed in Togo.
Cons: Everything is perfect.
Pros: The place (beautiful nature), the excellent kitchen, the friendly staff
Pros: Outstanding service from all staff members with a personal touch. Excellent restaurant. Taste the Fanny shrimps, fresh and tasty! Meat is really good.
Pros: Very friendly and kind staff. Very imporant: they were able to organise tours (Mt Agou, Mt Kloto and Ballade Botanique) as well as driving to Yikpe Falls and to Wli in Ghana.
Cons: It was not possible to amend our booking to save on one night's accommodation (the second room was not needed on night #1) despite the fact that the hotel was not fully booked
Set in Kpalimé, Hotel Agbeviade offers a garden, bar and terrace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi. At the hotel, each room is equipped with a wardrobe. At Hotel Agbeviade every room has a desk, a TV and a private bathroom. Guests at the accommodation can enjoy an American breakfast.
Pros: For 8000 frs CFA or less than $20 the Hotel was good enough. For an extra 2000 I got a mattress for my kids. There was hot water, and the staff was helpful. Clean towels and room. There is a secure spot to park your car.
Cons: The front desk was a bit surprised to hear I had booked online.
Pros: The place is overall clean and the AC worked well
Cons: When we booked on Booking.com, the check out time says 6:30am-8pm. Part of the reason why I booked this place is because of the late check out time. When we asked the front desk about this check out time, they totally did not want to listen. We showed them the booking confirmation with the checkout time, they just ignore that and said we still have to check out at noon. No explanation. I asked to speak with the manager but the front desk staff also ignored that request. This is false advertisement. Even if the checkout time was a mistake, we deserve an explanation or an apology at the very least instead of just being ignored. This property lack customer service.
