The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Parking just along the road. Great view overlooking the river. Would definately return.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was wonderful and river view excellent. Difficult to find parking area.
Proximity to the railway station and the shops / restaurants of Kufstein / wide choice of breakfast / access to internet /view from roomover the river No
pretty location, near restaurants and just off motorway for travelling. the rooms over looking the old town were noisy
The room ambient, the size and decoration of room, the style of the building, the service and the local. Yes, the parking for the car. The one close to the hotel was full and they gave me another one, more than 10 minutes walking far from the hotel.
Location. Facility. Hotel management.
Historic and charming hotel with good car park (easy to find). fantastic restaurant and hotel staff. I confidently recommend.
breakfast was good the position was pleasing but the tables for drinkers under the window were annoying The room was inconvenient and cramped. The showerroom dingy and very small
The view to river Inn from our room.
The location at this hotel is perfect. Backs onto the river and fronts the historic oldest street in Kufstein. The imposing Festung (Castle) towers above. Everything you could possibly want was available at the breakfast buffet. And it is a mere 4 minutes walk across the bridge to the railway station. No
Not 4 star. Small, fully plastic, caravan like, Bathroom
The restaurant was cosy with the wood decor and the open fire and the food was great. The staff were helpful. The bed was comfortable. I could not find the car park around the corner so I parked on the street and then had to move the car at 8am. Perhaps a small map with the address of the car park (to put in to the sat nav) would be useful.
Location is good in the centre of town, we had a traditional Austrian meal at the restaurant which was great- the service and the food. Whoa, we had a very hard bed and very soft pilllows. Woke up sore a few times during the night.
We booked this hotel last minute for a long weekend skiing. It was one of only a couple of hotels available so expectations were not high. With respect to facilities, you get what it says on the tin but the staff were excellent and accomodated all of our requests with politeness and friendliness. Really makes a difference.
There was nothing special about the hotel Bed was ridiculously uncomfortable, bathroom vey small. Noisy too. Parking cost additional and mind you, this is in Kufstein and not in one of the great big cities in this world. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels during my professional carrier and for holidays, but this one I would not recommend. Look for something else.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel itself and Bar were very quiet
when i stay, i just have a very comfortable bed and the room is clean, there is no need to pick fault. in honest, i have a little care about the bathroom and the washcloth, maybe just change the light to make it feel warm then it would be better.
Perfect and well organized Hotel. Staff was very helpful.
have free parking on the street on holidays, clear rooms,
Central Location, friendly staff and good facilities. Rooms wer clean and comfortable, bar has a smoking area.
The staff was very friendly and the service was good. I liked the central location as I did not travel by car. The bar and restaurant had a nice Austrial charm.
The central and quiet location suited my purposes for this overnight stay. Arrangements for check out were flexible and helpful.
Excellent location, friendly staff and high quality service Everything is ok
Liked the central location plus close to skiing. Good restaurant.
It is in the very centre of the city, so it is really handy. Good service and very kind hotel staff. Perhaps the breakfast can be a little bit more variety
excellent location, good staff
Nearness to everything
having one room for a family of 3-4 persons.
Wonderful warm friendly staff. We were made to feel so welcome. Delightful family inn that is being lovingly restored. Views of the castle, right by the railroad, warm comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Walking distance to very good restaurants. Historic Kufstein is a great alternative to staying in Munich. The hotel easily and quickly reached by Four Season's shuttle directly from the airport for not much more cost than the train.
Very helpful staff and excellent location, stylish environment.
Stayed only one night, bed was confortable, staff was helpful and breakfast was good.
When I called at the hotel, it was closed Underneath the Hotel, there is a Strip Club. It is not recommended for Children with Children
I didn't know this hotel started business from year 1870 around, but every thing seemed acceptable expecially just 1minute walking distance to the Kufstein rail station and quiet and kind staffs. I like the atmosphere of this hotel and would recommend who is using rail way travel to stay without fear of noise from the station. Thanks One thing I should say is they don't have lift. My room was on the second story and heavy my travel stuffs always bothering up and down.
The central location of the hotel allows easy access to the beautiful town of Kufstein. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, especially when shifting large quantities of snow off the car.
Very central location, clean and very spacious, helpful and friendly staff. Ample breakfast served in time for early departure. Restaurant not open in evening of arrival.
Hotel was located very close to the rail station, yet was only a few blocks from the downtown area.
only stayed one night stop over
The Hotel staff is very nice and friendly Everything is very handy and conveniently
Good breakfast, nice area, quiet hotel
friendly vicinity to road side
A very friendly, warm & clean family run hotel with an excellent quality of food from the very reasonable a la carte menu for lunch or evening meal and a good continental breakfast with eggs available at a small extra charge if required at breakfast. We were offered a half board option on our arrival at a very reasonable rate with choices from a smaller menu.
warm friendly staff.
Very good varied menu. Large modern room. Smell of cigarette smoke and the fact that it is on a very noisy road.
The room was nicely furnished and they had a nice assortment of foods for breakfast. It would helpful to say which autobahn exit to take to get to the hotel. We found it by having to ask directions at a gas station.
Cleanliness, friendly staff, service and especially liked the balcony around the hotel. Easy on off road access. Excellent breakfast.
Good sleep after an long trip (1000 km) in our car. no
The hotel staff were amazing and extremely polite. Rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy and very comfortable. On the last day the hotel owner made us a packed lunch for our journey home - the perfect end to a perfect stay. The only draw back for us, was that if we missed the bus it was €7 to get into Soll. Nothing bad, more of an inconvenience.
Perfect service, Good food, Very clean and friendly staff a very good location for skieing or just a few days away.
We stay there only over the night.
The rooms were very well furnished, with corner benches and little balconies. The food was excellent, and the staff very accomocating. I highly recommend the Sattlerwirt.
Nice sauna and steam bath. The hotel staff was obnoxious, opinionated and rude. A buss came in Sat and the hotel staff allowed them to party until 0130. When we checked out and tried to complain, the person suddenly did not speak english. Go figure.
Can park the car infront of the Hotel,
The friendly staff and the free bicycle hire. Shutters on the room windows, or darker curtains.....we were awoken by bright sunshine at 6 every morning!!!
Very helpful staff and excellent food
Clean, comfortable room with balcony. Arrived on a Monday. Apparently hotel is not staffed on Monday so nobody available for checking in or for questions. Room bill was for 31 Euro higher than amount shown on reservation made through booking.com.
Nice place: good and quite accomodation, useful position to visit nearby; polite and comfortable staff any but some problems if you don't have a car
It was an ok hotel, but definitely not 4-stars. The rooms looked old, and it was very noisy (noise from a very passing street in front of the hotel). The restaurant did not provide a non-smoking section, even during breakfast. We were sitted at a table next to the one were the kitchen staff was taking their coffee & cigarette brake, not very enjoyable. When we asked to switch table, we were told to go eat in the lobby... which is also a smoking zone! We ended up not finishing our meal and just leaving.
Hotel staff was very friendly, large room and excellent shower! Also the breakfast was very nice!
Everything! swimming pool doubles as whirlpool - nice feature but temperature too cold.
What can I say a jewel in the crown of Austria, location location location, had a fabulous time the staff were dressed in traditional Austrian costume, the food was Austrian and beautiful and the staff spoke English, the interior was beautiful and the hotel immaculaly clean, had a great time and will be back again and we cant wait.
Very nice surrounding, good kitchen
The views from the hotel, including our bedroom, were absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is high above the valley so one could look out over the valley below, surrounded by mountains. Simply stunning! The bedroom was very cramped and the furnishings, including those in the en-suite bathroom, were much below what I would have expected from a 4 star hotel, even though we were in the annexe. One of the bedside lights was not working, one of the lights in the bathroom was not working, and there was no plug for the wash bowl drain. I was very unimpressed.
I was very disappointed with the room, l have stayed in the main hotel before and did not expect the annex bit to be so poor. The bathroom was terrible, tiles cracked, dripping toilet cistern ans cob webs. The tourist information in the town was also offering rooms in the main hotel for less than we paid, we also booked a table for dinner in the main hotel one night. We went to eat at 8pm but were told it closed at *pm that night, when we booked we were not told that!
Hotel has a lovely setting and there was no shortage of food.
On the day we arrived we got a room on the 3rd floor facing to the rear of the hotel. The room was small and dark but was very clean. We were disappointed as the room rate was quite expensive and it looked nothing like the photos. So we asked if we could change room. The staff were very helpful. For an extra small amount, we were able to much change to a larger room which was much nicer. Overall the hotel was lovely, the pool was lovely. The only downside is that it is quite a long walk to the village. We got taxis when going out for meals at night.
A lovely charming hotel, superb food and attention to detail. Would Highly recommend it
The food was fantastic, room was nice, clean, etc., restaurant and front desk staff were nice The cleaners - ignored my do not disturb sign, came in without knocking one day I was there, took my towels one day and didn't return them (and took them even though they had a sign that said if you don't want us to wash the towels, hang them up and I had)
The views from the hotel are beautiful. It was a very romantic setting, the leisure centre was nice, all in all a great hotel!
