Nice atmosphere, good facilities and location to the rest of the village.
excellent position with village, and matched description. Staff polite and helpful with good english! Fascilities were well kept and clean. Only extra I can think of would be tea/coffee facilities within the room.
Reasonable hotel - room was good with excellant view. Car parking very poor - underground park can scrape bottom of your car unless very careful. Breakfast only average.
The room contained towel dressing gowns, and the lift on our floor went straight down to the large swimming pool, which is indoors, and heated. There is no tea making facility in the room.
at breakfast I asked a cappuccino to the waiter and he said "with chantilly". I said "no, without please" he replied "our cappuccino has chantilly". I think he just did not want to do one for me. Note : we were only 4 persons in the restaurant
Excellent location. Very cosy and comfy hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom would be the only thing I would add.
Very relaxing atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. The closest I have ver stayede to the ski slope, which was very convenient.
The hotel area is nice, it's located in front of the montains and only a few meters walk from the city center. The rooms are really nice and mountain style. The swimming pool is also really great and the jacuzzi in front of mountains is perfect ! One thing I didn't like, moreover I hate ! Is that I did the reservation with booking.com, it was perfect, I knew that in my reservation I didn't take breakfast, but it was ok for me. But when I arrived at the hotel, they told me that my reservation was included the breakfast, so cool .... I went to it ! :-) But when I came back to pay, they charge me more for the breakfast 12 €/one pers ! I think it s not fair and incorrect.
Wonderful position above La Clusaz. Easy entry to for Walking / Cycling the Cols.
Beautiful setting, comfortable room, friendly staff and generally good service. Lounge not very comfortable, food okay but menu very limited, bathroom a little tired, with cracked floor tiles, a disfunctional shower bracket and a half hot towel rail.
We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They spoke english well enough to were we did not have any difficulties communicating. The hotel was well situated in the center of town and was surprisingly quiet at night. The hotel is a bit older and the room was on the small side but was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was overpriced for what was provided. It was not bad, it was just very basic with only a few selections. In hindsight, we would have been better off getting something in town for the same price.
The staff were very wellcoming and friendly, and the food was excellent
Good Value for money and very friendly saff + clean. No Luxury here but the beds are comfortable and location is ideal close to shops restaurants and 5 min walk to the ski lifts (best to rent your skis by the ski lifts so you don't have to carry them). Rooms are noisy so don't expect to sleep after 8am.
Very reasonable, clean and certainly a higher standard then a UK 2 star!
Great location, clean, friendly staff, good value for the money, ok breakfast.
We could stay in the room until 2pm on the departure day without paying extra. nice location.
Delicious evening meals , atmosphere very nice and friendly staff but poor breakfast ...
Bealieu is a typical family hotel. Not luxurious but functional and cozy. Great hotel staff service and personal approach. It was quite cold in the rooms because the door to the terrace didn't close optimally (and -15 C outside)! But hotel staff did everything to improve things (providing extra blankets and improvinf heating performance).
We were upgraded to the Hotel Carlina next door at no extra cost. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Plastic sheets under the under sheet which made the beds very uncomforable and hot.
the hotel was situated very close to the centre of La Clusaz, perfect for the Apri Ski, the use of the sister hotels facilities / pool was perfect. All round an excellent value for money hotel that I would be happy to reccomend
very overpriced for a 2* hotel, terrible value for money
Fantastic continental breakfast every morning. Very basic but very comfortable bed with views of the mountains. Good shower with plenty of hot water after a long day of ski.
I loved the wind through the mountains and the sound of it in my room Lack of an elevator
Quiet, clean and a good price
The view from our room was stunning, also the room was very clean and the buffet breakfast was very good
The staff were friendly and helpful. Rather outside the village if you like active nightlife it's a bit limited.
Nice rooms - good for a family. We got the 5-bed family room, which was really 2 connecting rooms. This was perfect for us. The kids and adults each had their own room and bathroom. The breakfast was nice as well - yummy croissants! The views from the hotel were nice too. Sound insulation could have been better.
Fantastic view from large top room Light materials make this hotel noisy.Must pay WIFI (I purchased Orange 1 month /unlimited for 20 Euros ,which I can use anywhere in France) Not available in the room.
Friendly and helpful reception staff, and the fantastic setting. Rather tired looking furnishings and no hairdryer. Shower and bathroom were very small
Staff friendly and helpful poor sound insulation
The staff were very friendly and the hotel was perfectly positioned. Will see you next Year... na
Very close to the ski lift. Large comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the mountains. Plenty of hot water for baths. Helpful staff. If you do not speak french then dinner will be an unknown surprise, the food is local fare and it is a set meal so no choice although they would i'm sure be accommodating if there was a dislike. The directions to the hotel from booking.com were very confusing, use a different auto route.
Room very nice for a family of 5. Balcony and great vue to the Tour The Franc and the alps. No.
Good location for summer hiking and well placed for touring the northern Alps. Spacious, well appointed bedrooms & bathrooms, efficient & helpful staff. First class food - extensive breakfast buffet and fine dining in the evening.
Close to the centre of town, modest but pleasant pool and spa for children to use.The room was comfortable and in house restaurant good. Fire doors adjacent to the room was very noisy and was used excessively early in the morning.
Friendly staff, good location, fairly spacious room, new bathroom, balcony off our room, parking nearby. The beds were quite low.
Breakfast was reasonable They charge 12 Euros per person to use a small room that has some gym equipment and a small jacuzzi. In most hotels this would be provided on a complementary basis.
Staff very friendly and very comfortable
nice rustic hotel; efficient, clean, good value for money with good facilities ideally it would be closer to the slopes, but it is not a major issues - still walking distance
