Pros: The rooms where very modern and clean
Cons: Not to close to the local restaronts but wasn’t an issue
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A charming building on a beautiful landscape with amazing view of the valley. Great service, cosy and clean room and a superb delicious breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spacious modern room with contemporary view on traditional Alpine themes, one of the best among similar type premises. True hospitality you will not get in many 5 star locations.
Cons: La Plagne chairlifts are in 25-35 minutes of mountain roads, but with powerful car it could be really fun.
10.0 Excellent

CATERED SKI CHALET IN LA PLAGNE - PARADISKI SLEEPS 1- 14 Up the winding mountain road to the church square and the village of Montorlin, and a beautiful 250 year old converted farmhouse owned and run by Liza and Andy as a catered ski chalet. Alastair Sawday's Guides have featured this lovely place in The Guardian as one of 10 chalets to treat yourself to. The stunning top floor features an open plan living and dining area, with amazing views up and down the Tarentaise valley across to the distant peaks of Mont Blanc. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Liza is a perfect host. Helpful, considerate and, and extremely nice. The place is nice, clean, and it has this special charm that is hard to explain - perhaps, it has to do with the fact that the B&B is located in an almost 300 years old building, and the views on the mountains from the dining room are beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. I recommend the place to everybody.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location with super friendly hosts. On leaving we were advised of a route over a pass we would never have thought of, there is no substitute for local knowledge.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. A family atmosphere. Liza, the lady of the house, provided a nice diner for the guests.
Cons: none
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The host was so welcoming and very enthusiastic and amenable to any request above and beyond throughout my stay. Lots of text advice as to how to find the hotel after a long drive which was really handy. Her evening meals that she cooked while we could relax with a drink in the cosy 'den' area were fabulous. We ate out twice in the larger nearby restaurants and the food was not nearly as good, or as such excellent value for money. The breakfasts were excellent too which sets you up for a day's skiing with fresh bread, delicious hot pains & croissants, home made granola and lots of fresh coffee!
Cons: Cant think of anything!
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views from the breakfast area and such a friendly host- highly recommended :) a great start to a holiday
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts, Liza and Andy, go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home, from the wonderful breakfasts and dinners to shuttling us and our skis to Montorlin (and La Plagne), they couldn’t have been kinder. Afternoon tea with a fresh baked cake? Liza can do and does! We especially enjoyed the grilled salmon and vegetables, and chocolate mousse! Lots of skiing and area suggestions were offered as well, and appreciated. They have lived here for 17 years and know the area well. The beds and rooms were quaint and comfortable. The views of Mont Blanc from the dining/living room were just incredible. We were able to enjoy the free WiFi upstairs while taking in the views and the good food. We were sad to leave after just two days there. We want to come back from the States again next year and just ski Les Arcs and La Plagne for a week. So much terrain to enjoy, and the views are surreal in every direction. Thank you Liza and Andy for your hospitality and warm hearts! See you again soon! A bientôt!
Cons: Nothing!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Receptionist Location

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Bit small
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable accommodation. Great to be right be the piste. Convenient ski locker at piste-access level. Helpful receptionist including very handy morning delivery of baguettes and croissants. Convenient, although typically-expensive car parking.
Cons: A little far from the village. You could walk up via the piste or through the covered car parking, quite an effort either way. Because the village was above the accommodation we tended to stop by the Spar on the way back from slopes and became expert at ski-ing back to the apartment carrying a bag of shopping. The kitchen could have done with a few more cooking utensils but that's only a minor quibble.

Cons: Rooms a little small
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, big selection and hot food on request.
Cons: Coffee was poor! Superior rooms seem sparsely furnished and could do with some attention as fairly basic. Bathroom amenities could also be improved.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfasts and most dinners. The fondu evening was a bit disappointing.
Cons: Good location for skiers but a walk up the road to the resort and this wasn't groomed. It would be good to improve this and find a way to shorten the length of road that has to be used.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay and lovely environment and ambiance. Easy to remain there and not go out. Staff were fantastic. Food quite rich with lots of interesting ideas. Definitely a place to visit again. Not ideal for families with children.
Cons: Could have done with more hooks to hang things in bedrooms. Ski in ski out but ski return ramp needs a bit of work.

Pros: Excellent ski in /out location and good facilities Excellent bar and restaurant, great spa
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were fantastic as was location and food
Cons: Rooms not good enough for the price never mind 4 star
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great staff, excellent food. Generally a great hotel.
Cons: Drinks can be on the expensive side! Yes, it's a Ski resort, and expense is par for the course, but €14.5 for a G&T?? We also found the owner a bit unapproachable and more interested in entertaining his family / friends / regular guests than conversing with us first timers.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: The rooms are small and too simple for a hotel at his price.

Pros: The staff at Le Vancouver were excellent; very attentive and made each guest feel very welcome. Ski in, ski out was good and the ski storage was convenient.
Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms would have been welcome.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location with genuine ski in and out. Plenty of underground car parking 10€ a night Quiet clean rooms. Plenty of hot water First nights reception team brilliant sorting out problem with double bed versus booked twin Room cleaning team friendly great English and first rate job
Cons: Rooms too hot slept with external door open despite -19 outside temperature. Even after turning rad off rad room only just comfortable to sleep in. Must be costing a fortune Single beds very narrow( like sleeping on an ironing board) so easy to replace to be wider rooms big enough Poor breakfast on two of our three days. Particularly scrambled eggs totally burnt and inadequate amount of cooked food. No boiling water for tea just tepid water from coffee machine. Domestic toaster only does two slices at a time and took forever Appalling music in bar. Rap using swear words f—- n——- etc. Totally inappropriate for customer demographic. Complained to duty manager who was arrogant and told me the problem was my taste. Total idiot no customer empathy whatsoever.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good food Comfortable room Great service
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very kind staff, helpful. Food was delicious!!!
6.3 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect - close to my friends in the village. The location is very quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size.
Cons: There were a number of problems: (1) when I arrived at the hotel, having been travelling for more than 12 hours, I was asked if I would pay my bill there and then. I declined to do so but said I could the following day if they wished. They never mentioned it to me again, so I assumed the subject was dropped. When I came to check out at the end of the stay I found that they had taken payment already. This was annoying as I had planned to use a different means of payment, and I was also annoyed they didn't tell me what they wanted to do. The response was that this was "normal" procedure. I disagree. (2) there are 3-4 steps to the front door of the hotel and when you approach the front door, say late at night, a light does not come on automatically. I felt this was a trip hazard and other people staying at the hotel agreed. The proprietor did not seem to think it was a problem but said that his electrician would look at it. Nothing was done about it. (3) on two nights I had no hot water for a bath/shower. When I talked to the proprietor he contradicted me and said there was indeed hot water. He said I should let the water run, and I explained I had already left the tap running for 10 minutes. He seemed to think I was inventing the problem, although it is hard to understand why I would. On the second occasion the young girl from Reception came up to the room with me and I demonstrated there was no hot water. She agreed and offered me another room to take my bath/shower which I accepted. As the only hotel in town they have a great opportunity to create a local gem - the hotel is very pretty, in a great location with lovely views, but it suffers from its lack of customer service and charm.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fab setting - those views! Staff v.friendly, especially Laura on reception!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location to ski lift and small village excellent. Hotel cozy and welcoming. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size with great views.
Cons: although tea and coffee in room. Cardboard cups and no milk rendered it pretty useless. Pot cups n milk pots would be good. The shower had no hanger to hang it on in the bathroom so couldn’t shower had to use bath. Slightly noisy at the front early morning snow ploughing (we had a large snowfall whilst staying).
7.0 Good
Pros: Location for the slops great. Hotel was clean and tidy and staff helpful. Would stay again.
Cons: Breakfast was limited but acceptable. You could eat as much as you wanted. WiFi was slow.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Close to to telecabin ski lift.
Cons: No towels left in room one day. No facilities for late checkout Unhelpful staff on last day refused towels Advertised as spa, but no spa!! Generally not very charming staff.

Pros: Great location, steps away from the Les Choces bubble lift. Staff super helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy and the resturant was clean, available, accommodated us with a small baby - the food was also very nice and not too pricey!
Cons: All good! Nothing to report here. The leisure centre could be bigger but this wasn't an issue for us.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, especially the hotel-manager. Friendly and competent waiters, esp.the head-waiter. Good, interesting and changing cooking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was amazing showing down into the valley of the mountains
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location for ski in and ski out is exceptional! Exactly as they say, and the spa facilities were lovely, a little small for the number of people visiting the hotel but still nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The position of the hotel is great. The blue run down to the lifts is a bit steep and can get quite hairy during busy times. Our room was fantastic with a bay window and a view over the piste, lovely and warm with lots of radiators for drying coats/gloves etc. Food in the restaurant was fab, the restaurant manager in particular made us very welcome.
Cons: Nothing to not like!
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location, great view from the bedroom. Staff very pleasant.
Cons: The bed was incredibly hard. Didn’t sleep well the entire time we stayed there. Staff didn’t turn up to clean our room until 4pm on the Sunday by which time we were back at the room. Went for a run in the gym they didn’t have any water facilities to drink in the gym. Could definitely do with a water fountain at least.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good and varied. It seemed to cater well for all diets. The restaurant manager Pierre was very helpful and accommodating and friendly. He was rushed off his feet most nights because the two other waiters couldn’t understsnd or speak a word of English and had to go and get Pierre every time diners asked for anything. Yet he maintained his pleasant demeanour at all times.
Cons: When we arrived there was nobody around to tell us if we were even I. The right place. Reception was closed and in darkness. The lift to the ski and boot room was broken for 3 days so people were clambering up and down stairs in their ski boots with ski’s and poles. The room cleaning seemed to happen on an ad hoc basis and we didn’t get clean towels for the entire week even though we asked for them. The dinner menu was limited and non existent for a vegan, despite being told prior to booking that vegan was possible and could be ordered st the time of dining. Not true! I was charged twice for tourist tax despite showing them that I had paid it at the time of booking. I asked at Reception for milk for the room for tea and coffee and was told “no”. We were given two tiny sachet’s of coffee for the entire week and despite asking, didn’t get replenished. So we purchased our own. Which is unacceptable when you’ve spend over £2000 for a week’s half board for 2 people. Surely it wouldn't hurt them to replenish coffee and milk every day.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome, ski in and ski out, good facilities (restaurant, spa, sauna, ski looker room), room was cleaned daily, jacuzzi bath tub was great
Cons: Breakfast was average
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location for skiing. Underground parking very easy and good value.
Cons: The "bar" was just a sitting room. Bedrooms small
6.4 Good
Pros: Excellent buffet breakfast Wonderful views of slopes and mountains Good leisure facilities (ie pool, sauna, etc)
Cons: Very slow service in restaurant Limited menu choices in evening
7.7 Good
Pros: I liked the very Alpine wooden decoration and design. I thought the food was excellent. The receptionists were very helpful. The bedroom was not large but was well equiped and everything worked.
Cons: It was quite far from the restaurants and bars in the centre of Belle Plagne.
2.8 Mediocre
Cons: This hotel was very expensive for a poor quality hotel. The room was small and pokey, the towels were tiny and rough like dishcloths, the bath was so small you could not lie down without your knees touching your chin, the 'whirlpool bath' button did not work, we had to pay extra for the parking even though we had already paid an exorbitant price for the hotel.
Overview Reviews
Chalet de Montchavin was completely renovated in 2007 and is ideally located only 150 m from the center of the resort and 100 m from the nearest ski-lifts. Residence also offers sauna and fitness room. Guests can relax and enjoy their drinks in the lounge bar.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Bread service in the morning
Cons: The sofa bed and fold away bed where very old. No duvets only blankets, minimal pillows and no towels provided as they had a supplier issue.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location is great
Cons: The room was dirty and found a random sock under my bed, Also the wifi was terrible. Couldnt enter my room until 16:30pm which is a joke.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location. Facilities, when available, were good.
Cons: The sauna was unavailable for two of the seven days we were there. WiFi was available in the rooms at additional cost. The sofa bed was missing some springs in the middle so was not comfortable. Bread service was available but not delivered to the room. The ski room did not dry boots at all. All relatively minor things, but given the cost, were disappointing.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Leaving to go home..
Cons: No duvets, stained linen. Being charged for towels and extra cleaning even though we cleaned the apartment. You have to strip the linen and take to the laundry room on departure? The scam of them keeping the deposit? The beds broken springs and tired kitchen desperately need replacing. I really cannot warn you enough not to book!
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Very little to be perfectly honest.
Cons: Only one very unhelpful member of staff at reception. After an 8 hour journey we were given an inadequate room for 4. Also told we had to make our own beds & strip them off when we vacate. We had to take all our rubbish out with us. The rooms were shabby & full of dog smells. It really was dirty, dingy and we will never book again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was super clean on arrival and the concierge team could not have been more helpful.
Cons: We were very pleased with everything
4.5 Okay
Pros: parking good
Cons: rooms too small, staircase to one of the top rooms impossible with a suitcase as stairs were too narrow. Not at all like the description online and very expensive for the quality we received. No lift for suitcases either
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location - great staff and a beautiful mountain Village - what could be better
Cons: Nothing - it was great value for money
5.5 Okay
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Bed terrible. When confronted the manager agreed that the sofa bed was tired but no effort to replace. Smoke alarm went off during our sleep for no apparent reason. We got up in a panic and dressed and found exits locked and all dark and closed When we told the manager he just offered to replace the smoke alarm battery and not investigate the cause. This apartment is tiny and as it’s up 6 floors is the highest there. Also you are expected to clean the rooms / bathroom mop hoover and dust which was a surprise for us. This is all written in a room booklet and They try to sell you a cleaning kit to do this! You can book to have the room cleaned but this was not an option offered when we booked There is an inventory that you have to check on arrival and check all crockery etc Not what we were expecting Booking.com you need to be clearer about terms and conditions and hidden costs to your customers. This is more like a hostel than a room to rent and this should be made clearer We had a very unexpected and disappointing stay. Luckily we were visiting friends and spent little time here and also our friends lent us a mattress to put over on the bed the bed. TERRIBLE!
6.0 Good
Pros: The apartment was quite small but well decorated and very warm. Ski storage was ok. Well signed for those arriving late. Overall=good.
Cons: Apartment's kitchen area is very small, no oven just two hot plates. No towels. General areas not clean. Hot tub looked like the whole French Rugby team had just finished their post match bath, so got out quick. Post-stay cleaning doesn't seem to be included in price. The Manager put notes on door and in rooms saying he expected apartment left "perfectly clean" or there would be a charge/fine of 75-150 euros (pity his own areas weren't as clean). This made us quite angry and we were determined to avoid this and cleaned the whole place before we left.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was perfect; impressive fold out bed in the very nicely shaped living room. The breakfast corner was great for eating and reading. Very good kitchen, beatiful view outside the windows. Also, the balcony was lovely. The Chalet d'Anaïte has a fabulous location. It's a 3 minute walk to the Montchavin-Les Coches ski-lift (and you can actually ski right back to the hotel if you know where to go off piste at the right moment.. otherwise, skiing back to 5 minute distance is easy and fun). Lastly, I thought the La Plagne (part of Paradiski) area was amazing with many kinds of routes (I loved the forrest route to Chambery, and all the routes coming down to the Verdons Sud lift) The area is very pricey though: a day pass is about €40.
Cons: Room for improvement: the (nice and helpful) staff should be able to speak better English (or at least slower French). Personally, I'd have liked the blankets to be heavier than the thin fleece ones they provide. You should bring your own towel, otherwise they can provide a set for €`10.
5.7 Okay
Cons: We booked 1 bedroom apartment for 2 weeks and it was confirmed. Shortly after that hotel contacted us and informed that there was an overbooking and 1 bedroom was only available for 1 week of our stay and offered studio for another week. We were not happy but had to accept it.
7.6 Good
Pros: It was everything perfect. Ours was a small apartment with a sofa bed so little space was left when opening it.But it was defenitely worth the price both for the details with which the apartment was designed and for the location.
Cons: The door giving to the garden didn't close well so we were a bit worried during the night that someone could easily come in. Remember to take your own towels with you because they are not included in the price. They cost 10 Euro each.
7.6 Good
Pros: No frills but nice bar, good location and excellent value for money
6.0 Good
Pros: Almost ski-in ski-out position, nice refurbished apartment, spa
Cons: Being charged €100 for cleaning of the apartment for a 4-day stay. A 7-day stay a month earlier in the more upmarket resort of St Anton in a higher standard hotel only cost us €60 for cleaning.
7.6 Good
Pros: It had just been reovated really well and was beautiful inside. The jacuzzi was great. The bar is really nice.
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent value for money, rooms clean and comfortable, good bar, and relax area, staff very helpful and friendly.

6.8 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The room was too small and the bed was a sofa bed which was too small for my partner and I. When we moved in it, it woke us up as the mechanics were noisy. We couldn’t move around the tiny room as the sofa bed jutted up against the table.
7.5 Good
Pros: Perfect location, 100m from the slopes. Nice apartment for 3-4 people. We lived there with my brother and we thought that for 4 persons it gets very cozy. Apartment is well equipped with everything you need. There was even a balcony. After a long skiing day you can enjoy the swimming pool (heated, temperature is ok, when you swim) and the sauna. Unfortunately it was a little bit overcrowded, so the floor gets very wet.
Cons: Apartment would be too small for 4 people.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: The rooms are extremely small. Cleanliness not up to standard. The staff are extremely rude, unfriendly and unwilling to help. Beware of the deposit request, they will wait for you to check out and then call and say that they are taking an extortionate amount of money from your debit card.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Well equipped self catering apartment - particularly appreciated the teapot which is unusual in a French apt. We booked a one bedroom apt that is advertised for 4-5 people for just the two of us and that was a good size for us. Good storage space (though possibly would be difficult to find somewhere for hard suitcases). Comfortable bed.
Cons: The bedroom is the minimum size it could possibly be - my knees could just squeeze between the door jamb and the corner of the bed! No boot warmers in ski room so boots had to be brought to the appt to keep warm ... the space in the hall for shoes/boots got very crowded and wet!
7.0 Good
Pros: The apartment had a terrace. The location is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The apartments were for four to five people but were much too small and cramped. The kitchen/ dining areas were minuscule. The pull-out double sofa bed was very uncomfortable. I don’t see how 4-5 people can comfortably share one of these apartments.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was ideal.
Cons: The pool opening hours (4:30 to 7:00 pm only)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice area! Accommodation was meet our expectation. Apartment was situated in building Silenes. Mini market is nearby. Parking is also close. Reception with facilities (open pool, sauna, laundry room, game room, mini market, food bar, garage (payment is required for garage, but open parking is free...). Connection with other villages in La Plagne area is great (free shuttle bus drive often). Staff was very attentive and polite.
Cons: Apartment was small but functional.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff were excellent - they could not have done more for us. Very, very helpful. Whilst we didn’t use the outdoor pool, there seemed to be plenty of kids and mums and dads having fun in it, so I would consider this to be a bonus, given that we were staying in a relatively low cost apartment within the complex.
Cons: The apartment was OK for two people, but if 4 people stayed, it would have been pretty small. Utilitarian apartment, very basic, but it is fit for purpose if you are on a budget.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here 6 times now, always rate it highly and would recommend it to anyone due to position in resort and accommodation. The only negative is the pillows they still haven’t replaced them so now take are own with us!
Cons: Pillows!!!!
5.5 Okay
Cons: Our room wasn't what was advertised on Booking.com so beware! It was advertised as a 3/4 person standard with proper double bed and a double sofa bed - both were sofa beds. The pillows were disgusting. We struggled to move around freely as a couple - no way would 4 people sleep in the room we had.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location amazing! Hot Igloo superb, comfortable and warm with phenomenal views. Fantastic to watch the stars and see the dawn rise over the mountains from such a comfy bed! Staff so helpful, fondue lovely and drinks around the fire pit perfect. The staff were lovely and helpful and made sure that we were fully included (we were the only non French speaking people there) The igloo was beautifully presented and was so comfy and warm. I was also really impressed with the ice carvings in the real igloo. Feels like you are in the middle of bowhere!
Cons: I think the food could be a little more special for the price. The fondue however was lovely and it was an experience eating in the Igloo! I would have liked more advanced information of the location and how to get there. We found out when we got there that we could have walked up from Plagne Bellecot which would have saved us getting the bus up to Plagne Villages. We walked back the next morning and it was a beautiful walk. (It would be much harder walking up but I do like a challenge!)

5.8 Okay
Pros: The location. The staff were very helpful and professional.
Cons: I've stayed at the hotel since Vacances Bleu took it over 3 years ago (and before) and this year it was noticeably poorer. The restaurant was struggling for the first few days we were there because people were waiting for food, that improved but the quality and choice of the food was nowhere near as good as in previous years. The service staff were good and did their best but the kitchen was clearly not up to scratch. Usually there is ice cream available for the kids but the fridge was outside (blocking a fire exit) Ice cream was available but we didn't know as there was no notice saying so - therefore nobody asked for it. I had to send 3 e-mails before my arrival to confirm that I had a parking space only to find that nothing had been done when we got there. One of the 2 hot tubs wasn't working for half the week. Fire doors were wedged open. I did raise some of these issues while I was away via an e-mail and was promised a reply but received no response. I don't think Vacance Bleu are that worried their guests at this hotel.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good but no english tea. the staff were all very helpful and pleasant.
Cons: Our rooms were a long way away from reception and we had to transport heavy suitcases up and down 3 flights of stairs,a lift would have been advisable
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nice stuff but the management is the worst
Cons: Worst management ever. The manager is making me having the worst experience ever.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location fantastic. Bar area recently modernised and is very comfy/relaxing
Cons: Apart from bar area rest of hotel needs modernising. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Repetitive food selection.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a great location on the slopes. The breakfast and dinner food options were plentiful and varied
6.8 Good
Pros: They have jacuzzi! Is right on the slope. They have a ski room, to leave your skies over night.
Cons: The rooms are quite old even for a 3 star hotel. Breakfast is.. very basic. The personal is a bit better than the rest of france but still not standard.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Overall a nice Hotel at a fair price in a good location.
Cons: (CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISMS.) Only cold plates available in the dining room for hot meals. No bin in the bedrooms. Only one power point in our family bedroom. Corridor on the first floor when you exit the lift smelt of 'fatty' kitchen odours.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Evening buffet was poor some nights. Ran out of main dish one night.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located for ski in and out. Friendly staff , facilities clean. Rooms slightly tired in design but still very clean and well looked after. Breakfast plentiful , dinner please buy nothing to write home about. Still excellent value for money and would go again. It does have a ski room but bits must be stored in your own room.
Cons: Storing ski boots in your own room.
7.5 Good
Pros: -Very good food. Full of diversity -Kindness of the staff -Quietness -Musical band 3 times In the week -Nice bar and service on the terrasse
Cons: -Poor wifi. Kind of public network permanently disconnecting. -Not the best situation in the ressort. Too far from the shopping mall. -No fitness room, despite in the brochure -Sauna is just a jacuzzi on the terrasse to be booked at the desk

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very well equipped and the staff were very helpful. The car park was good and so was the facilities.
Cons: Room cleanliness was very poor. The view was of the commercial end of the resort where deliveries and collections took place every day. Ski in ski out is not for beginners.
6.8 Good
Pros: Great location on the side of blue run that takes you to Bellecôte and three chair lifts and a gondola (It is a steep blue, so not for beginners). Swimming pool and spa great for winding down after a day on the slopes.
Cons: The rooms are a bit tired and can do with updating. The lift didn’t work when we were there, which was a bit of a struggle with young family and our room was facing the front of the hotel and it was noisy in the mornings with rubbish collections and deliveries.
5.0 Okay
Pros: the staff at the Pizza restaurant managed to single handidly ruin : - our meal on the first night - the planned 40th birthday breakfast in the group - the last nights meal. We wont ever go there again
Cons: changing the staff
8.0 Excellent
Pros: room was located great for slopes, pool and restaurant.
Cons: nearest shop was up n down hill
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Had a lovely stay again, although lack of good sleep. The location and Belle Plagne are great.
Cons: Single beds are far to close together in the twin rooms in this apartment. Would be better off cutting off the bottom of the wardrobes and putting bedside tables in between the beds so they are farther apart. This was the only down side but it is a big downside and would put me off returning again although I have stayed all your apartments, hotel and chalets previously without this being such an issue. I think I would only return if I could book an apartment based on a room plan, like you can with the Montana chain. Shame as the rest is great.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location excellent for ski in/out Small but useful pool & gym
Cons: Lifts in block 3 did not arrive at floor -1 ( pedestrian acces- you can go down but not up which is difficult if you have heavy cases) The lift down from floor 3 was not working when we left so again had to carry all our cases
6.3 Good
Pros: The restaurant downstairs - Le Chalet - was very nice and had a lovely view.
Cons: The mattress was old, stained and dipping in the middle so it was not comfortable to sleep. The bedroom door could not close because of the bed being in the way. We were next to a ski locker which was noisy in the morning and late at night (because the Gondola runs until 1am). The lift did not work. This was a shame because we had a nice oven, a nice sitting room and dining area and it was a nice warm room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location right on the piste and near to shops, friendly staff and great view from the balcony. Good sized apartment.
Cons: On the fourth floor and the lift failed to operate several times. It requires a major overhaul not tinkering by the odd job man.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location right on the Slopes. But only if your a good skier.
Cons: Hard Pillows. The lift was not working when we arrived in Block 3 We were told it was to be fixed the next day, 7 days later still not fixed. We were on floor 4 our car was on -2 thats 12 flights of stairs after a hard days skiing. This is not acceptable for a 4* accommodation. Again for 4* you don,t expect to have one towel to last a week, or pay 10 euros for a pool towel only to be told you have to keep that for a week as well, how unhygienic is that. Although the Apartment is on the slopes unless you are a competent skier i would not like to get to the lifts or Nursery Slopes, from block 3. We are also not used to having to have the apartment checked before your deposit is returned. Maybe this should be re classed as a 2* Think it only holds its 4* because of the Pool and Spa, which is not that good anyway
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable apartment, lots of space for all the family. Lovely views.
Cons: A washing machine would have been handy!
