It was cheap and located near where we needed to be in Lafayette and saved us driving from Dalton or even Chattanooga. Room was clean and staff was nice. Always nice to stay in a non smoking room that doesn't smell of smoke. Bed was a little stiff that's about the only complaint.
The staff was friendly The bathroom door wouldn't shut all the way, there wasn't any light bulbs in the lamps. You couldn't see out of the peep hole and the head board kept falling down. There was a tv channel guide.
Not a thing did I not like
Location The cleanliness of the room
Location. Floors needed cleaned badly! Housekeeping did not restock towels.
Very convenient and inexpensive. Nope, I just needed a place to sleep.
Paul at the front desk is the biggest asset to this hotel. He is horribly overworked and obviously under appreciated but with us he was amazing! He seems to be the ONLY one concerned about this place. Sheets, toilet and sink clean. Cigarette smell, musty, damp feeling carpet, dirty a/c filter that made us congested. black mold on shower ceiling. NO attention to cleaning details. Run down, unclean and shabby. A real missed opportunity for the owner for simple fixes! BAD housekeeping
Not many guests, so plenty parking. 'Free breakfast' a joke; ate elsewhere. Stained room carpet. Twice had to phone hotel to locate desk clerk, while standing at front desk. Wife has asthma; got non-smoking room, but adjoined a room full of smokers; changed rooms after arguing w/ clerk.
The beds were comfortable. There was trash in our room that housekeeping had missed.
There weren't many choices in this town and it was right off of the main road. There were roaches in the room. Multiple times I found them scurrying across different pieces of furniture. Also the tub didn't have a drain stop. I asked for a non smoking room yet people smoked so close to my room that it filled with smoke.
The hotel was easy to find and checkin was smooth. Our room however, had no smoke alarm. What was left was a hole in the ceiling where it had been ripped out. Also, we informed the staff that we would be checking out about an hour and a half late. the night we checked in. However, when checkout time came, the manager was knocking on our door telling us we needed to leave. Even after explainin to him that I was given permission to checkout late, he told me to give him the keys and go and proceeded to herd us out like cattle. The room did have a fridge and microwave which was a bonus considering the price.
I always stay at this hotel. The room is very new and the staff is very friendly. They Free breakfast, free local calls and high speech internet. I am always a guest here and always be. There is no better hotel in town than Express Inn & Suites.
The location was good considering Walmart was not too far and ample parking. Carpet in room was new. Staff was friendly. Outside was freshly painted. It advertised continental breakfast and there was none. There were roaches everywhere in my room. Walls were nasty in some areas there were stain. Smell of smoking coming through door we asked for non-smoking room. Wifi worked partially.
That it was halfway from where I was headed. The room had roaches and the bed sheets didn't fit the beds. There was a loud person upstairs that we could hear everything at all hours of the night. The bed wasn't very comfy and the sheets felt disgusting.

The motel is clean, comfortable, and quiet. It is also very convenient to the start of the Chattooga Couty Century bicycle ride sponsored by the local high school. I have been doing this ride now for several years and use the Coach Inn for the overnight stay both the night before the bike ride and the night following the ride. The contienttal breakfast is skimpy. Advice is to bring your own breakfast. Also the bar soap is skimpy.
