The hallway my room was on smelled like complete throw up and had a horrible odor until later on in the night. Understandably, it was new years day when I came but the hall should of been sprayed or contained the smell. That is the only negative thing I have to say about my stay.
The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Proximity to the mall and restaurants is nice. I'd prefer free parking, but who wouldn't?

Nothing Parking was supposed to be free when I booked and I was charged for parking when I arrived. Our first room smelled of BO. We were moved to an alternative room, which was fine.

Stayed for three day instead of staying in a NYC hotel. Beautiful rooms, fantastic bathroom, kind staff and great spa facilities.
This is a great hotel if you want splendid service and excellent accommodations. It is a bit on the sleepy side--there's no bar owned by the hotel with a lot of activity. But you can have a quiet drink in the lobby restaurant.
Sometimes my wife is right on the money. NYC congestion I can live without. I stay here I save half my money and get 2x the service...This hotel is brand spanking new...like walking onto an elegant Starship...USS Comfort...we came to nyc, felt relieved at the end iof the day....the Malls are right next door!

The rooms were beautiful, updated and huge. The bathroom was wonderful aswell.The staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The front desk staff seemed to be a bit incompident with hotel details such as hours of the spa and restaurant and how the computer system worked. It seemed like there were a lot of 'new' people on staff.
Our room was spacious and very clean, hotel staff was friendly and helpful, bed and pillows were comfortable. Coffee was good, I usually dislike hotel coffee but Hyatt had some good coffee. Breakfast buffet could have been a little more exciting. Limited choices and pretty bland.

Customer service was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and positive. Your shuttle drivers couldn't have been nicer. We were in Greenwich for a funeral, without a car. Your Shuttle service was one of the main reasons we chose the Hyatt. Faith
Atrium is a nice look and close to highway I can understand a valet parking fee, although excessive at $25, but a $12 park yourself fee at a hotel not in a downtown area with a huge parking lot is not nice.
The staff was amazing. You couldn't ask for better service and friendliness.I really enjoyed my visit.I The cleanliness of the Hyatt I felt could of been better.Our room was dusty when we arrived,which surprised me.Cleaning supplies were left in bathroom,and 1 small bar of soap was left for the two of us.It wasn't terrible just surprising because of the friendliness and excellent service.I wasn't going to comment because everything else was wonderful but. since I received the survey I deceided I would.Thank you again.

Professional and friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed! Overall hotel is magnificent. Free coffee and tea is served next to elevators in every morning. We've also enjoyed pool and spa. Free breakfast would be nice.

I like that it was tucked away from the highway and from any busy streets. The ambiance was very professional; very nice decor; generous sized rooms and very bright lights in the bathroom. Would have been nice to have free wifi.
Stay was great, but check in process was awful. 2 staff members were helping a couple that needed some more assistance, but it tied up the whole front desk. My fiance and I were in a hurry, and we waited 5+ minutes to check in. Another guest behind me was also making comments about the wait. I hope there is a quicker and more efficient way to check in, in the future. Otherwise, if the whole front desk staff is tied up helping a customer, hopefully they can give the other customers an explanation of the delay.
The user interface for getting connected to the WiFi was the worst i have experienced compared to the many other hotels at which I've stayed. I walked my device down to the front desk twice to get help where the gentlemen who attempted to help were unsuccessful. I don't know if the server was experiencing because eventually (an hour later) the connection was made, but i needed the connection quickly. I needed to resort to using the computers in the lobby.
The area is beautiful, the hotel is massive and very clean. I didn't stay long enough. Checked in at 1am, checked out 10am the next morning.

Our 12 year old son and I decided to stay in White Plains on a lark (after an educational and fun trip to Sleepy Hollow), and very happy we did. Would recommend to anyone who needs "a clean, well-lighted place" to sleep.

The building was beautiful and classic. Closer, than I thought, to NYC, but probably need a car to get there. The restaurant was good or okay. It is also a great wedding destination. I will definitely recommend my friends to stay there. The service at the restaurant (Celler 49) was a little slow and strange. Food was good or okay. However, it will not stop me going back Tarrytown house estate in the future.
It was a nice location and beautiful property. It was impossible to find the room and the map was poorly labeled. So many buildings and parking lots. Very challenging to navigate. Rooms were rather basic for the cost of the room per night.
Everything at Tarrytown House was just so easy - easy check-in, perfectly comfortable room, and the front desk was so helpful (setting us up with cabs, for example). Plus, the grounds were so green and lovely. Highly recommend - a great value for the cost of the room.

The pool is great, the employees are very helpful and kind, and the place is beautiful. Nice pool, too. I only wish there was someplace to eat on the grounds aside from the pricey Cellar restaurant, since we kept having to take cabs to the main part of town to find restaurants.

The location is great for where we needed to be. The entrance to the property is 'grand', really liked driving up. The restaurant is 'cellar 49' is in the basement, cosy and intimate. Great service, helpful and super friendly! ... The noise! They need to insulate the walls! We were placed in the 'Weschester' part of the hotel (someone told us it is the quietest area), you could hear the guest next door talking on the phone, hear what he was watching, and hear every single passerby in the hallway chatting away...
Spent the weekend at the estate when I proposed to my girlfriend. Staff was very accommodating to my requests to surprise her and Alex even had a few extra special touches to add to our stay.

Location in Tarrytown, NY, overlooking the Hudson, friendly upbeat staff, parking on site was convenient, price was great through Kayak, pool was nice and warm, racquet ball court was great! Food at Cellar 49 was tasty. The doors to the room do not close automatically when one exits their room. At one point, I notice that 3 of th4 doors in our area were left ajar by accident. To actually close and lock a bedroom door, one must pull it really hard to make sure it closed. What I am saying is that this is pretty unsafe for women who may be traveling alone and also, throughout the night, I we heard was other guests SLAMMING their doors closed. When I mentioned this to the front desk staff, they seemed surprised to hear this. Some of the paint, wall paper, flooring (in pool bathrooms), need serious sprucing up. Also, air conditioners seem to leak or stain the outside of the building and when I looked out my window, I saw rust stains running down the side of this building. For a Destination property, I expected more in this respect. As my only Destination point of comparison, I have stayed at the Wild Dunes Resort in the Charleston, SC area, which was AMAZING!
I've stayed in a lot of Residence Inns during the past 30 years of business and leisure travel and this one was a great pleasurable stay. It started with check-in when Midinah at the desk greeted with such cheerfulness that I thought it was 9:30 AM instead of 9:30 PM. After a tough day of travel, it was nice to get a warm welcome after walking into the lobby. And it was as if she was expecting me when I walked in through the entrance. I was amazed that she could tell that I was going to be a new guest, since I didn't bring any luggage with me during check in. The Health Club was impeccably clean and spacious, which is appreciated. In most other chains, an exercise room is just a closet with with a mirror and some free weights. I like that there is room to move around and to be out other guests' way. Having the five exercise machines was a great sign to guests that this Residence Inn takes the guests need to exercise seriously. The breakfast buffet was well managed and well stocked with cooked staples like eggs, fried pepper and onions and canadian bacon. The adjoining restaurant, Aberdeen, was a hidden gem. It's a Chinese restaurant that serves dim sum all day long. On Yelp.com someone said "I've always heard that if you see Asians eat at an Asian restaurant that the place has got to be good". And it was true when I ate there. The parking is $10 per night and it is a tight squeeze to get around the garage and to park.
The beds where comfortable, good water pressure and got water. Plenty of parking. Not happy that we had chipping ceiling paint over the bed. Don't be fooled when your told you have a room with a view of the pool. It was noisy, could bot open the windows for fresh light because of pool was right there, and random people walked up to the glass sliding doors to sit in chairs directly in form of our room.
Nice rooms, although a little on the small side. Great location while visiting Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Elmsford, etc. Cooper Mill restaurant is comfortable with good food and provides the room service. Did not make use of the spa, but it looked nice. Excellent service at the front desk. Very accommodating of any request. Evenings when there are company parties and weddings in the ballroom, parking can be a problem. The ballroom can handle very large groups. There is plenty of parking available but it can be a long hike to carry your luggage. We experienced this twice during our four night stay. Coffee service in the lobby is Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday only, and then coffee is not served until well after 7:00 am. Do not plan on coffee service from the lobby.
Not so many people there and it is very quiet place to relax and peace. so we came at the right time!;) One mattresses is very soft and floppy which makes my back hurt. Plse check the matrress... Also needs a bigger table instead of square table so can put some food on instead on the dresser...
The room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff at the check-in desk was efficient but not overly friendly, with the exception of the first check-in.

Great staff - very friendly and helpful. Food was great! They provided a shuttle service to my work every morning while I was there. The hallway carpet was obviously on their list of what to replace next, otherwise everything was top-notch. Had a lot of problems with the internet. Very spotty.
This hotel was easily accessible from all major roads. The property itself is well-maintained and very clean. In the staff is very friendly and helpful too. After a very long day of touring New York City this hotel was a welcomed stay for weary travelers. The Bistro Cafe located in their Lobby is an excellent choice for breakfast. We ventured out into the neighborhood our first day for breakfast, and we were very disappointed with the food locally. We should have stayed on premises to eat at The Bistro Cafe both mornings.
The hotel is very convenient to where I work. I did like the buffet breakfast. I found the bed and pillows very comfortable. 1. The lighting in the bathroom was very poor. 2. I didn't like that I couldn't turn on a light in the room from the entry way. Only the hall light. Had to go into a dark room to find a lamp by the bed.
Nothing Dirty Awful customer service Smells
There wasn't much to like At first when I walked in the room smelt like old dirty gym socks After an overcooked steak and some rather small portions on the dinner menu, the staff in the dining room including the manager were on their phones instead of paying attention to the floor. I went upstairs to sleep where I had a bad reaction to either the towel in the shower or the detergent on the sheets and was rushed to the hospital with an allergic reaction covering most of my neck, chest and shoulders, loss of breath as well. I'm greatful for my wife calling 911 To say the least I wont be back

Mr. C??? (first name) in the dining room supplied us muffins & coffee after the 10:30 am breakfast close and took us to outside the bar area. Was very kind and accommodating. Room 447 - had weak water pressure in the sink & shower, after returning to the room at 7:30 pm on June 7th it had not been made up and was told staff left at 5:30 pm and were not available. Room was very cold because the air conditioner was running and didn't have the ability to have heat - had to use whatever the entire hotel was using. Slept in coat to keep warm. Fees for last night stay were waived by Mr. Yasir - Assistant Manager of Front Desk (night shift). Photo of his business card and details available if required. Room 224 - Also cold 2 nights although 1 night (June 6th) they did turn the heat on which I happened to find out in the middle of the night when I turned the system on. Tried to call the front desk several times and no one answered the phone.

We were having an affair at the hotel and our team headed by Rosaria Costa could not have been nicer more efficient. We had also had our daughter's wedding here a few years ago. I would highly recommend Ms. Rooms were not ready when they were supposed to be ready to check in. even though we told the front desk we were having an affair at 6:00. The 4:00 check in time was not honored.
Location was ideal for our travel. Only 75 minutes from home. Conceige was ill informed. Couldn't give us any information on the area or other golf courses in the area. Hotel should have a small store to be able to purchase toiletries, ice cream, soda, water, etc. also housekeeping didn't provide shampoo or wash cloths.

Nice room, had everything I needed, a fridge, shower, bed, and wifi. I have no real complaints. The room was clean and had fresh towels/linnens when I arrived. I was never disturbed during my stay. Wifi was a bit slow.
Location 227 is a sad, little room. A queen room at the Hampton Inn. It is unloved and uncared for. If the room were located in Paris, France or a berth on a cruise ship it could be considered spacious but by typical standards it can only be described as tiny. There is no chest of drawers. Guests must leave their clothes in their suit cases or stuff the two night stand drawers. The bath room contains the typical notice indicating that for ecological conservation linens left on the towel racks will not be laundered. Sadly, the bathroom is so cramped there is no room for a towel rack. Clean linens are stacked from counter to the ceiling on shelves. Used linens can only land on the floor. There is abundance in other areas. Two arc lights outside the window of room 227 bath the seven storied building in light. The lights also perpetually bath the room in light. At night, the blackout curtains glow at the edges framing the window as if morning is always eminent. The door to room 227 is located about 12 inches from the door leading to the pool and parking. There are 5 parking levels at the Hampton and the easiest access to most rooms in the hotel is through this second story access. SCREEEEEEEECH-BANG goes the second story entrance door hundreds, possibly, thousands of times throughout the night and day. Management and staff dislike room 227 as much as the guests. Neglect and frustration is clearly present. Controlling the water temperature in the tub is frustrating. Turn the control knob too far and the water is icy cold. Turn the knob too little and the water is icy cold. Like a modern day Goldilocks, guests need to turn the knob on the tub ‘just right’ to get the water temperature close to what a human could sustain. The tub spigot and the shower head are not affixed to the wall. Diverting the water to the shower head is troublesome as the spigot moves around as the guest attempts to send the water to the shower head. Do not think that your HHonors will help you here. Staff has learned, or possibly well trained, to contain prepaid guests to room 227. Ask for relocation and offending guests are given static and treated as trouble makers. Room 227 does have a redeeming quality. Having been a guest of room 227, I affirm to live a better life and treat my fellow passengers on earth better and more kindly. My earnest hope is that after I pass from this planet that I do not end up back in room 227.

Staff was friendly. For the area this is the best priced hotel. It was clean and quiet which great. Quiet in the sense that even though there was a lot of people staying there I never heard anything throughout the night. The free breakfast and shuttle were also great. I travel to the area quite a bit and I think this is the hotel I will stay at every time.

If you're a woman, you know that sometimes that time of the month can come early unexpectedly. It was after midnight, and the store was closed. The hotel's market shop was out. The guy at the front desk checked, and said they didn't have anything. The next morning, I talked to one of the other staff, and she said that they did have them after all. Anyways, it was an uncomfortable situation to say the least. I think the least they could have done was to give me like a discount code for my next stay. Nothing. Oh, and you need to pay for the wifi. Not impressed.

The location was perfect for me, easy on/off 95 and I had to travel north in the morning (against traffic) and south in the evening (also against traffic) a little instruction on where to find things would be great, such as the buttons needed to work the lights and shades
Small, comfortable with a nice restaurant/bar. Friendly staff. Other nearby alternative (Hyatt Regency) is a 'big' hotel. This was our third time here and we like it. Only negative: a little TOO modern. Toilet opens when you step in the shower. No hooks in bathroom (maybe one). Wife had to turn waste can upside down in shower to shave legs.
proximity to Greenwich My room was not ready in late afternoon when I arrived to check in. I had to wait in the lobby. The 'continental breakfast' is not more than coffee, dry cereal, and a dry roll. I was very disappointed.

The staff was outstanding. I received a warm welcome when I arrived and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that I enjoyed my stay. The room had amazing features with the latest and greatest technology as well.
I received a patio room, which is much nicer (and quieter) than the 'motel' courtyard room, which should be avoided at all costs. This was the first room I recieved with a bath and a separate shower. This was my 3rd trip to this property. On each visit, one of the evenings I ate at the hotel restaurant. The quality of the meals has not been as expected, nor commensurate with the price. Minor nit, housekeeping did not replace toiletries during my stay.
The toilet was AMAZING! I also enjoyed the staff, very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The bar was also a nice touch. The free shuttle was also a plus, I will be staying their again in the near future. I loved everything!
It was very updated- tech savvy. The staff went out of their way. We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant closed and they put our food orders in immediately and brought dinner to our rooms (10:30 at night). A great experience. Not at all.
We stayed for only one evening but we were quite pleased. The hotel is lovely and located on the harbor with gorgeous views. It is also conveniently close to the train station which we took to and from Manhattan. The shops of Greenwich are also within walking distance and this provides a nice option. The shops are upscale and unique. I would recommend this hotel for a romantic weekend getaway. Champagne is provided upon arrival and there was a continental breakfast provided. The staff was kind and not intrusive. Awesome place! You won't be disappointed. No pool and nothing for kids to do.
Bed was very comfortable. When we drove up no one was there to meet us. We weren't informed the restaurant was closed for a private event. Service was not good. Requested late checkout and they never got back to me.
This Ina very pretty location high above the Hudson River, it looks like a castle, from the outside, but the interior has a variety of decor. We had a deluxe King and it was large and very comfortable. We had our anniversary dinner at Equus, the in house restaurant, excellent food and service. Unfortunately for us they were having issues with their fire alarm, it went off 3 times while we were there, not happy being woke up at 7:30 by sirens and flashing lights, evacuated for 20 minutes and nothing was said by mgmt, we showered and checked out soon after, this ruined our relaxing anniversary weekend.
The Castle on the Hudson's unique Victorian style gives it a very nice and different touch, than your typical resort. I would recommend this hotel for a quick and quiet getaway. The tennis court could be fixed up a little and the pool could be cleaned or repainted. Though neither are terrible and should not affect your decision to choose this hotel.
I had a wonderful time the hotel is small but just great. The food was pricy but very good. The staff is the best. WIill try to go back again. The breakfast staff was a little.

A true pay-by-the-hour motel. There was a sign out front that said "Special daytime rates." Disgusting. No central air conditioning, and the room was HOT. The carpet was covered in stains, and the bedspread had cigarette burns in it. The TV remote didn't work. The microwave was so tiny that food containers or travel mugs wouldn't fit. Right next to a busy street and walls were thin so it was loud all night. Would NOT stay here again. Plan ahead and avoid this place.
