Natural beauty, accommodations, golf course, surroundings.
Long drive to get there but if you can come through the State Park it's gorgeous!
Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa, with its rich old west history, is a Texas resort experience like no other. Located on 27,000 acres of rugged luxury and surrounded by approximately two million acres of unspoiled state and national parklands guests have an air of solitude to enjoy all that the resort has to offer.
Each guest room features a unique theme with interior décor made to transport you back in time. With themes like the Calvary Post, La Cuesta, Badlands Hotel, Officers Quarters and Boardwalk condos there is something for everyone to enjoy including an onsite restaurant, The Thirsty Goat Saloon which is named after the areas duly elected mayor, Clay Henry who is a goat who loved lone star beer and live music.
Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa offers unique adventures for its guests including a zip line tour of Quiet Canyon, the Agave Spa, an Equestrian center, a five-stand sporting clay shoot, a cowboy action shoot, jeep rentals, and guided hunting excursions. The world-class golf course, Black Jack’s Crossing was designed by PGA Hall of fame golfer Lanny Wadkins and was named after the US Army General Black Jack Pershing who pursued Poncho Villa across the Rio Grande.
With its RV park located at the golf course, on-site adventure options, spa, and charter jet services, The Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa is an excellent choice for couples, families and business travelers alike.
