8.2 Excellent
Pros: What a great setting to stay while in Big Bend National Park. We arrived on the day of the government shutdown but the other than the visitor center being closed and no salad bar or soup at dinner, our trip wasn’t shutdown. We loved hays balcony off our room.
Cons: Our server at dinner didn’t know much about cocktails that were featured including one made from a native plant, Sotol. He also told us we could get a hiker’s lunch at breakfast. At breakfast, we were informed we had to order the lunch the night before. Other than that, we had a wonderful time.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Closer to Big Bend National Park than previous accommodation.
Cons: Specifically asked and paid for room with TV. But apparently I should have asked f a working TV. There was no reception and the hotel did not give us a discount! Staff comment was 'This is Big Bend.' Our room was not cleaned n restocked during our stay.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location run down
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: What a dump. Cost was 3x what it should have been. No one should stay there
5.8 Okay
Pros: The view is beautiful. Nice clean soft sheets, nice firm bed. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot.
Cons: No bathroom door. Broken floor tiles. TV didn’t work. Bad stains in the sinks. Totally broken in half sofa.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very spacious and the outdoor seating outside of each room was a nice place to sit and watch roadrunners go by. Saw a rainbow over the mountains as soon as we pulled in and walked to Starlight Theater for dinner. Surprisingly good Wifi for the middle of the desert too.
Cons: The TV didn't get any channels and the bathroom door handle was broken so it was a little difficult to get out sometimes, but was still functional enough. TV wasn't really an issue, we just wanted to have it on in the background as we got ready for the day.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: During storm there was tin rattling around.
6.8 Good
Pros: Restaurant and bar on site
Cons: Very run down for the price
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was spacious, however, the bed was very stiff and hard. There were three channels on TV, however, we were worn ahead of time. The bar and grill were very close and offered live music which locals seemed to enjoy. The hamburger was tasty. But the blue and black salad was disappointing. The staff was friendly. Enjoyed the ceiling fan because we did not have to listen to air conditioner all night.
Cons: The room was not cleaned. They only made up the bed.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very courteous and accommodating to our needs

Cons: The hot water in the tub ran very slow, so could not effectively make use of the big spa size tub.
