Stayed for 6 days in mid-January. Only 1 sheet on the bed (no blanket, no comforter). Front desk said this was normal. It was a cold spell in Florida at the time. Also, charged $6 per day for 'resort fee', when Travelocity posted on their website $3 per day would be charged. They obviously charged per person AND added tax. My charge was $40.32 (which I thought would be $18). The hotel had gaps near the air conditioning unit - like they forgot to fill in the holes. I could see outside. This hotel is NOT a resort by any means. Will not go back to this one!
The rooms had refrigerators and microwaves which were very convienant. The room was clean and the continental breakfast was served until ten! Kim at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. There was an additional three dollar per night fee that showed up on my credit card that must have been in the fine print. The lobby was very busy as they hold some sort of church service on premisis but i couldnt hear them from my room and there was a long line at the waffle iron during breakfast. More than two waffle irons would be one of my recommendations. The air conditioner in my room was very loud and would wake me up when it kicked. Overall nice stay just had to share the pros and cons.
This hotel was a wonderful deal great price and the rooms and staff great!
Hotel was clean, rooms were spacious, easy access to the highways and plenty of places to eat nearby as well but the turn offs were the weak wifi service and the breakfast selection due to the fact that the waffles burned every time for the 7 days I stayed and the pool is under construction with no workers showing up for not a single day for the week I was there. And the breakfast room worker had quite an attitude daily. But kudos to the front desk staff for their excellent service at all hours.. So I give this place a 7 outta 10!
jperfect hotel for no more of one night to stay. Just 30 min. to legoland Florida
The room was clean, the design however was dated. The room included a large old tv, scratchy ugly bedding, etc. The free cont. breakfast included what seemed to be frozen biscuits, and a crock pot of gravy, eww!
The rooms were a bit small and the bed a little too firm but we would stay there again.
The staff seemed unattentive at check-in...almost like we were bothering her. A member of our group discovered bedbugs in her bed the next morning and had been bitten during the night. We all promptly checked out!!! Be sure to look closely at your accommodations before staying here!
The last time our family 'attempted' staying at a Days Inn was over 15 years ago and it was such a roach infested nightmare, I never even considered a Days Inn since. However, due to the great reviews and price I decided to give it another shot and it was awesome! We were checked in by Kim (I think)...she was super nice, the rooms were very clean and breakfast was good :)
Rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. Staff was extremely nice. Tv was outdated and did not show clearly, but everything else was excellent.
This hotel was very reasonable and I love the fact that they cleaned our room everyday.
Great stay, excellent staff. Very friendly and made me feel welcome. Will stay there again
One of the bed sheets on the bed was torn, the sofa in the room was torn and the carpet made you feel like you HAD TO wear shoes all the time as it was so nasty. Would never stay there again. The morning receptionist was helpful with directions. That was the ONLY saving factor for out 1st and last stays at Days Inn. Never again!
Clean and friendly....will stay here again when staying in this area.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Since we wanted a very quiet room (I'm a very light sleeper) they didn't put anyone around us after the first night (Saturday, which had doors slamming til the middle of the night) The problem was the heavy doors were self-closing and kept slamming. As well, the halls were dark and very narrow. I could touch both sides easily (I'm 6'1') We loved the waffle maker and biscuits and hot gravy (as well as bananas and toast, cereal) in the large breakfast room. Right off I4, close to Cracker Barrel, Applebees, and Five Guys Burgers and Fries...a real good location!!
I would definitely stay there again! Prices were more than reasonable.
The rooom was quiet and clean but only had two double beds, no choice to get a king. Breakfast was minimal choices so we ate at a local restrauant. Would probably stay somewhere else next time but if no other rooms available, would stay here. Great shower pressure and the drain did not stop up so that was a plus. :)
The room was nicer than most Days Inn rooms, that I'll grant. The bed was acceptable, the bathroom adequate. Unfortunately, the hallway was almost pitch black, apparently by design as there simply were very few lights available. The staff were friendly and helpful in pointing us to a good restaurant. The worst aspect was the breakfast. I don't expect a whole lot from a Days Inn, but this breakfast consisted of two types of cereal - Fruit Loops or Corn Flakes - without any milk or orange juice available. There were a few yogurts and a waffle maker. We left and went out to eat. For a single night it was fine, but I wouldn't stay here again if I wanted anything more than a place to crash.
In all it was a decent stay when you put it into perspective...only paid * bucks a night and i didn't spend much time in the room except to sleep; pool was unusable the entire time, would've been nice to use on days where i was killing time before meeting up with friends, spotted a roach in the room, which of course told me that there were plenty more where that sucker came from, took over an hour for an iron to be delivered to my room, and the continental breakfast, better off heading over to star bucks a few feet away and if you're unlucky and get a room on the first floor be prepared for car lights to be shining into your room and not being able to pull back the curtains during the day. On the brighter side, the staff were great!
Hotel amenities listed hot tub but didn't have one & pool was not heated, waffles stuck to griddle and had to be scraped off into pieces. Manager said he would look into that. Manager was pleasant and very attentive. Breakfast was great except for the waffles. TV channels listed HBO but didn't have that either. Don't forget shaving cream as there is none available even if you wanted to pay for it. On the other hand room was clean and spacious, even luxurious ; bed was comfortable, staff very pleasant and bathtub was large and great for soaking in. Internet room and exercise facility were great. Also there are dining places within walking distance, for instance Applebees, Cracker Barrel and Wendy's and Five Guys. Location good and felt very safe. I would stay for business reasons but as this was a getaway from the hustle and bustle of life, the hot tub and pool would have been nice and even a movie on HBO instead of watching discovery channel. For those wanting the basics this is great but for the little extras, check directly with hotel to see what they have. Don't trust an internet site to tell you.
